I am interested in this, as I've been around since the interest check. But are you all going to change it at all? I guess seeing as Inkd Bull is no longer here it makes me feel weird, almost as if we are taking their idea for our own. I guess I do want to do an RP like this, but ultimately feel iffy about it.

I definitely understand the feeling, so I don't want to sound insensitive with this response or anything.

Inkd pretty much up-and-left a dozen or so people without as much as a word. I'm sure he has his reasons, but as a result of this, we never got any sort of express permission from him that we can continue ourselves.

Despite that, seeing the large amount of interest, I really think it'd be a shame to let the RP fizzle out because of that. In the end, this is a public forum, and he put his cool idea out there knowing this.

We'll pretty much only be using the setting that Inkd laid out, as we don't know what he had in mind for plot. As such, we'll be coming up with our own plot using what little we know to fit the setting and tone of the roleplay.

Like I said, I totally understand being iffy, but I believe it's the best thing to do for everyone involved. If you're no longer interested, that's completely fine, I won't hold anything against you or whatever. But we would love to have you participate despite the situation ^^

@RaeoftheLight I totally understand the feeling. But, if you're on the fence, allow me to coerce you, eh? Another RP I'm co-GMing is in its third edition - it was a fantastic idea that was rebooted once by the original GM, and now again by myself and a few others as our GM went offline for like, a year, and we loved her idea so much that we decided to keep it alive.

I can't speak for Inkd, but if I had to leave the site in the middle of a raging OOC, I'd want the players to keep going if they really wanted to. It speaks to the merit of his idea, that he came up with something we want to continue so badly. Of course, if he returns, we'll relinquish control back to him if he wants it; we just want to bring his idea to life.

Of course, if you're iffy about it, I understand entirely if you don't want to join. No one will hold it against you. ^_^
