Name: Shiina Kurokagami
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Role: Unaware Magical Girl
Personality: Quiet, sad, and dealing with depression, Shiina has few people to call 'friends'. Listening to music, playing the piano or violin, and drawing are all somewhat therapeutic, so she enjoys doing them often. She is calculating, clever, and reasonable all the time.
Abilities: Shiina's Relic is Pandora's Box and it's key. The one thing that didn't escape the box when it was first opened was hope, which means that it effects the user and those around the user, brightening their mood and helping them stay calm, clear-minded and optimistic. When activated, it gives Shiina a pair of golden wings that let her fly for short periods of time, a brightly-colored outfit, and a key. The key opens Pandora's Box and allows it to manifest Hope as a two bracelets like this
on either hand, with spools of razor-sharp wire attached to the bottoms. Once the wire is deployed, Shiina can control where it goes without fear of it cutting her, allowing it to be effectively used for making traps.
If instead Shiina wraps the chain the key is on around one of her hands, the Hope inside the box gives her the ability to heal to a certain degree. (For instance, she can heal a broken arm, but not cancer.)
If she heals someone, she either takes that injury upon herself, or she can project it to another willing person.
Skills: Can play the piano, violin, and cello well, is an expert marksman with most firearms, has very fast reflexes and is very good at drawing and painting.
Background: Shiina was born a girl of privilege. Living a sheltered, home-tutored life was perfectly fine with her in her younger years, though she frequently wished for a playmate. As she got older, though, she began to be discontented with spending her free time reading, painting surfing the internet, and nurturing her garden in the backyard. Shiina needed a friend. She begged to be allowed to be schooled with other people her age,, and was enrolled in a private school as a result. However, she was quickly singled out as an easy victim for the resident bullies, and was humiliated and stolen from on a daily basis. As a result, she quickly learned how to defend herself with a quick tongue and fast reflexes, though she slowly became more and more depressed. She gained only one close friend, a girl named Hana who frequently found herself in detention, but one was enough. She loves collecting old things, and has always believed that really old items have a kind of charm about them...
