Julia woke with a start as she heard Shiver's voice coming from her comlink. She stood up as she listened then saw as Shiver appeared. She could tell their leader was frustrated, and decided not to make it worse. So quickly ran up to her room, and put on the suit the company had specially designed for her to fight in. It'd protect her from bullets, and allowed easier movement. But, it wasn't indestructible though like her it was infused with self repairing nanites. Which meant she didn't have to worry about getting her hands on another one. Just it'd take hours to repair depending on the length of damage done to it. She put her long hair into a ponytail then rolled it into a spirale bun at the back of her head.
Quickly Gadget made her way to Shiver's office which took a bit as she needed to figure out just exactly where it was. "I've never been good with maps... I just hope I make in the time frame Shiver gave me. I wonder why her hero name is Shiver. I should ask her that when I get the chance." She soon made it to Shiver's office after running past it twice. "Sorry I took so long. I get lost more easily than I'd like to admit." She then chuckled nervously rubbing the back of her head.

Gadget appeared slightly frazzled when she got to the office. Shiver chuckled. "No worries, I'll keep a good eye on you. Let's go." Shiver took her hand and teleported them to the section of the city with the most crime currently. She set them in an alleyway so they didn't appear in front of anyone causing them distress.

Shiver looked at Gadget. "Are you okay? Not everyone adjusts to teleporting so quickly. Okay let's see what's going on around here." Shiver walked out to the darkened street and turned towards the docks. "Come on." Shiver waved her over and headed towards a few men that appeared to be suspicious looking near one of the boats. Shiver recognized one of the men as a drug dealer.

Tito stared on while Miles smirked. Tito nodded a little intrigued by Tia's powers. I guess that will work. If y'all ready...let's go. he said as Miles went back to the car, getting in, ready to take care of business. As the three went riding, they managed to make it to the territory The Giver operated in.

There were a few men here and there standing on the corners. Looking on at this SUV that they didn't recognize pulling into the parking area as a few men walked over to the car. Tito opened the car door and spoke to Tia and Miles Let me do the talking here...

a guy walked up "The fuck are you?" Tito spoke up A fucka who wants to make a business deal. Look man just call me Murphy...I work for the Bronson family...we handle shit down south in Miami....I heard about ol boy that he got some real hot shit on tha streets and....I well...the big guys in the back they want a new partnership... Miles rolled down the window with Tia sitting next to him while they were in the back seat. They changed up the seating arrangement by request from Tito.

Miles spoke Is your man the one to do business with...or...am I gonna have to take my 20,000 dollars someone else?

the guy thought about it. "Hold on..." he said walking some ways and talking to another man as they called up to The Giver and then was allowed to come in. "Take your ass on in..." he said as Miles got out the car and took Tia by the hand to walk on in the place where a few men were armed with guns. Walking through, they came into the main hall where there were seats for them and the man they called the Giver was walking down stairs, looking at the group.

His men was around just in case something popped off. Tito waited outside so to have someone that could give outside assistance. Giver watched both Miles and Tia "I hear...you're interested in my product?"

Hell yeah...we heard that you have that kind of drug, where after you take it, you feel like superman...

"And where did you hear about that?"

Down in Miami...I have some contacts up here and he's a customer...he told me about it and I- well...we...wanted to know for ourselves.

"Who is your contact?"

Oh uh...his name is Chris...

"I see...." The Giver looked at Miles and then at Tia "Who are you two? really? I don't recall a Chris as one of my clients...and then on top of that, you two just come here out of nowhere to do business with me and then also....you both look familiar....so....who the hell are you and what the hell do you want because I know people in Miami and your names don't ring a bell." calling the bluff.

Miles tried to keep his cool while using his X-Ray vision to look around for any R&D stuff. We're a new group... "Bullshit...you have just once chance to give me a reason not to have you all killed right here."

Miles was now thinking of what the next step he should take as he looked at Tia.

Omega was glad Glitch and Amelia were making progress in their discussion about Glitch's new invention. When Glitch turned his attention back to Omega he smiled, though he was curious as to what new idea came to his mind, but that could come later.

"I know this place hasn't been as top notch as when I got here, but do you happen to have some kind of upgrade to our suits that allows me to travel anywhere. You know, high altitudes, deep underwater,.... space? If there's a prototype, I'll even test it for you." Omega said with a smirk. What was the man's goal with all this?

"Sigma"

"Sleep does seem nice." Sigma agreed with Jessica. "I definitely couldn't eat like that though." Sigma said as she was a small eater. The girl could barely finish her meals. "Hmm... go take a nap, I have some stuff to do anyway." Sigma said with a friendly smile as she listened in on Julia's orders from Shiver." Sigma walked to her room and put on civilian clothes with sunglasses before teleporting from her room.

Tia

Tia froze the room and everyone but her and Miles. She unfroze the Giver's head and walked over to him. "Look asshole. I want my stuff back and I want it now. and if I don't get it ..." She smiled wickedly at the scared man who was still trying to figure out why he couldn't move. "If I don't get it back NOW..." Tia walked back and forth showing him how much power over his life she had as she phased and stuck her hand inside his stomach and he screamed in pain. The door opened and she froze that and anyone in the way.

"Now I believe you were about to tell me where it is?" To bring her point home she blew the hand off of the frozen guard at the door. "By now the Giver was not only scared to death he was seething a little."

Gadget chuckled blushing softly. "Thanks I feel better knowing someone is willing to look out for me." She hadn't had someone that was willing to actually help, and to watch her back for many years.
After they teleported Gadget felt incredibly queasy as Shiver wasn't kidding about it being rough. After a small soft burp she was fine, thankfully. "You weren't kidding about it being rough. I will be fine thank goodness for some of my training.if it were a couple years ago I'd be really sick."
Gadget followed Shiver exiting the darkened street. She was curious as to the people her superior was zeroing in on. However, she could sense one of them was a "badguy". As they made her skin crawl just by being near them. Being nervous due to this being her first real life field test Gadget couldn't help her fidgeting.

Red Strike (Ro'Kun)

Ro'Kun had no idea what was going on. It seemed like he had been busy with being himself for awhile, so for now he was back in the gym. He had gone back to his place and brought his Wing Chun dummy to the HQ to practice on. He trained like this as per usual, and turned on some kick ass music. Just as usual as his training however, he was out of the loop on the goings on of the HQ. He simply practiced. Despite his absent minded nature and jokes, he was a martial artist and hero first and foremost. Once he was dead, he wiped the sweat off his brow. Where was everyone?

Hearing out Mike on what he needed, Rey though about what he may have had Well...most of my other stuff have gone missing but I do have a prototype that can travel into the sky but I still have kinks to work out in it for the fact that once it gets near breaking through the atmosphere...the power shortens out and the suit sort of....stalls. You may need to add a rear jet pack so to not free fall but with your abilities...you should be able to keep yourself up. The other functions such as built in oxygen and damage resistance should be good. The power cell is what needs to be worked on...oh...and it can go under water but it can't handle pressures deeper than 2000 feet. he explained Why do you need that suit?

The pain the Giver was in, he recognized who the woman was. Panting and sweating and in pain, he responded. "Wait...you're that....bitch....Inertia! I remember yo- gyaaa!" he yelped out in pain from her twisting his insides. Miles stepped forward Babes...no need to kill him... he looked at Giver Dude you better talk...we had some intruders who came into our headquarters and stole our R&D stuff. Did you send those bastards there!?

Spitting up blood, Giver responds "The fuck are you talking about!" A fucker named Nuke and a bitch that can shapeshift and look like anyone and can fight....who are they!? are they working for you!? "No! dammit! they don't work for me but I know who you're talking about.....they're Nuke and Aurora....they work for a connection I have....a terrorist group, they call themselves Black Cloud...they are like militia...they can be hired by people....more than likely hired by someone higher up. You need to go see them."

Miles nodded Alright...where the fuck are they then? "They are usually on Stalemate Island...that's away from the city...their operations are in the old prison there. I'm sure that's where they went. They have another place in the Mojave desert. And if you want the leader...he goes by the name El Plaga...or...The Plague.." he said "Now could you please tell her to stop this shit!!"

Miles nodded smiling Cool....okay babes...let him go...I'm sure that after this, he will discontinue his operation of distributing power bestowal drugs...and giving others powers outright. giving a nod to let The Giver go and you better stop or she will visit you again and I won't be here to give her another opinion. he said while Giver was sweating.

Tia

Tia removed her hand which was now bloody and wiped her hand off on The giver's shirt. "Have a nice day." Tia said and smiled at him with a little more evil in her eyes than he liked. She grabbed Miles hand and phased them both til they were in the clear of villains. Her instincts were right. It wasn't long before they were shooting at them. She was irritated with this bunch and she turned and Blew the front of that building up. The screams of the dying didn't bother her as much as they should have. She did notice that and she decided she needed a break after this mission.

"Okay Miles let's get this shit done. I think I'm starting to enjoy this a little too much."

Shiver

Shiver teleported behind a barrell and stayed close. The guy she recognized was a well known drug dealer in the area. He also had a go go bar in the city that was supposedly running drugs and laundering money through there. Shiver got Gadget's attention on the Comlink.

"Okay the guy in all black with the longer coat is the drug dealer. The two guys with the briefcases are the ones who just bought the drugs. Let's see what you can do."

Red Strike (Ro'Kun)

Ro'Kun decided he needed a walk, so he headed out of the gym and into the HQ proper. He couldn't make head nor tails of anywhere, as usual. "Shiv?" he asked, finally poking his head in her room. No, she wasn't there. "Tia? Omega?" he asked in their respective rooms. Nope. He shrugged, and decided to head into town. He was pretty hungry after all, and HQ food wasn't his style at the moment. Maybe a philly cheese steak or 8 would hit the spot.

"Well they only sell those in the rougher part of town." he said to himself as he strode into the streets. "At least the good ones." Hands in his pockets, he knew where the...general location was. He turned a corner, so lost in his own thoughts that he didn't realize where he was. Ro'Kun then stopped beside the guy (who happened to be the drug dealer Shiver was spying on) and poked his shoulder. "Hey buddy. Where can I get a philly cheese steak around here?"

New Look

Jess was flying in lazy patterns over Oakland near Lake Merritt an Alameda when she heard the first rounds of a fire fight begin. So she pinged her GPS location and caused a streaming camera to eject from a hip pouch and fly above and behind her.

"This is Drifter, this is Drifter declaring a code purple 10-71 ....." she says reporting a possible gang related shot out using codes she has studied and requesting police presence to the scene.

Rather than simply diving into the firefight Jess does a turn above the 15 men shooting at each other to identify any police already on the scene and finds none. So as the only protective agent on scene she formulates a plan then aggressively enacts it.

First she flips cars that the gunmen are hiding behind to cause them to cease fire which works on all but three and those she singles out for physical response. Fingers are broken by her none to gentle ripping of the weapons from their hands.

Still this doesn't clue any of the two groups to look up for their outside attacker giving her 3 seconds to locate the armed and attack them with their own weapons used as bludgeoning tools.

She was at first thinking this was a good exercise of her skill till her foes proved to lack any unit cohesion then she feels more like an adult chastising toddlers.

Police cars begin approaching the site causing a few the former combatants to try and run for it requiring Jesse to strike them in the knees with their own guns.

Giver fell over nearly passed out as the two exited the building. Miles looked around while phased with Tia as the shooting went on. Tito was busy fighting in different animal forms, calling out to the two Are you to good? did you get the answers you wanted? he asked.

Miles looked up at the pterosaur in the sky speaking to them Yeah and we are heading to where we need to go too...so come on! Miles watched Tia destroy the building with people screaming. He looked a little worried at Tia Yeah...seems like you are enjoying this too much. he responded to her.

They all got in the car, heading towards Stalemate Island where the terrorist group, the Dark Cloud, hang their hat.

Omega raised an eyebrow as Glitch explained the prototype. As somewhat of a pessimist, Omega focused in on the faults.

"It sounds good enough, and I won't need it to fly me if I tap into the... tactical? No, it's tactile. The tactile aspect of my TK." Omega said as he tried to explain. "And about the need for it... I want fight some aliens. And if I don't run into any.... well I guess it would be a good way for you to get the suit field tested, right? And I'm assuming if it gets damaged, I bring as much that is left back to you."

Gadget turned around as she saw Shiver abandon her. What was the boss lady expect her to do exactly? There wasn't exactly undeniable proof a drug deal was what was going on. For all she knew it could be they were trading simple legal goods. They were at the docks after all, and she was trained not to act without certain proof. She looked back at Shiver, and tilted her head. "I respect you, but are you sure you're right about this? I'd rather not get into trouble for zapping innocent people." Gadget was speaking fast because she was nervous, and scared of letting Shiver down. What if Shiver returned her, and claimed she was defective? The company would destroy her for sure after seeing how defective, and unusable she was. This was her last chance at life, and she was frightened. Shiver left her there expecting her to attack, but what if she was wrong? What if she attacked, and she was unlucky enough to find out the people she zapped were actually undercover cops?

Shiver saw Ro'kun and she just wanted to kill him right there. She tapped her comlink and told Ro'kun "Ro, You are standing in the middle of a drug buy. Did you just ask him about a sandwich? Take out the guy on your right. I got the other one and Gadget? Get the one in the middle. GO!" At that point Shiver took her target and electrocuted him just enough to make him twitch continually. She stood back and watched to see what Ro and Gadget would do.

"Sigma"

Sigma had appeared by the docks trying to be as incognito as possible. She was in civilians and wore shades which would help, but they key to all this was her ability to be aware of what was going on without the need of he having to actually look. She stood on the corner of the sidewalk where she could see everything while keeping her phone up to her ear as if she was talking to someone.

Sigma bit her bottom lip in excitement as she knew Shiver and Gadget were just about ready to spring into action. Here they go... Hmm. Sigma raised an eyebrow, similar to how Omega did when she saw that nothing was happening.

"Don't tell me the new girl is choking on her first mission. Priceless." She giggled a bit which made her imaginary phone call appear all the more realistic. "Oh you've got to be kidding me. That guy is about to ask for drugs and he doesn't even know he's about to get curb stomped. That's if the girls even bother to move." She commented on Ro'kun who she had not met yet. Sigma figured he was a normal civilian.

Then Shiver sprung into action. Sigma smiled.

"Wow... electricity and teleportation. I wonder what else she can do?"

Coming out of her panic she noticed the new guy. Apparently his name was Ro? This was the first time she'd ever met this guy so she just thought his name was Ro since that was what Shiver called him. Wait... Oh, so he was also a hero. Which meant she couldn't go around using her electrical powers. Seeing as she'd not nearly enough practice with that power to use it with friendlies right next to the bad guys. Gadget made her right arm turn mechanical with a piston as the forearm and fist, Then grabbed the guy she was told to. Then punched him in the stomach so hard he lifted a foot off of the ground. Then dropped him letting him fall into the fetal position gasping for breath. She tilted her head a bit, and crouched poking the guy to make sure he was still alive. Seeing he was she smiled then stood up then turned to Shiver, and Ro. She felt amped up she always did when finally entering combat. But, she had trouble starting because she never wanted to hurt anyone that didn't deserve it.

"Listen man, I'm starving and I could really-oh hold on a second." the young man said, getting a call from Shiver on his comm. "Ro, You are standing in the middle of a drug buy. Did you just ask him about a sandwich? Take out the guy on your right." Ro'Kun nodded at that, then looked back at the man. "Hey sorry about this."
He punched him straight in the face, dropping him like a sack of potatoes.
