Chris, Cian and Davina
Eon TownDavina's POV "It's because of him that we can't stay longer, you know that, ri-""Him is right here, and him can hear you, assbutt. You could have easily stayed behind, they don't want me. Not exactly a new feeling. I can survive on my own!"I grit my teeth and continued to pack my bag. I'd been hearing this bickering all morning, and only wished I'd had a Psychic pokemon to forcefully shut their mouths for me. In my peripherals, I could see Cynder and Suicune laying on the floor beside one another, but not touching. Those two were a funny pair. They never liked touching each other, almost as if the two types were to touch they'd evaporate and cease to exist. From outside, I could hear Chris's Charizard pacing impatiently in the street waiting for us to come out from the guest house. I couldn't recall ever meeting a Charizard with such a temper, before. Chris's really set the scale high, in that area. Cian's Hitmonchan sat on the same bed as Grimm, holding Grimm's thick club in it's hands just analyzing it. Grimm stared at it with watchful eyes, keeping an eye on his prized possession.
"We need to get a move on. They were gracious enough to allow us to stay another night. If you boys are done moaning and groaning, I'd like to leave this place in good graces."With that, both of them immediately stopped talking and exchanged a look before grabbing their pokemon and belongings before heading out the door. I immediately followed with my own pokemon falling in behind me, Grimm closing the door behind us. I pull Suicune and Grimm's pokeballs out, withdrawing them into their imprisonments. Not that I liked to, but it was much easier just keeping track of one pokemon rather than all three at once. Both Cian and Chris doing the same, Cian leaving out his Houndoom and Chris keeping his Arcanine for ground patrol and his Charizard to patrol from the skies while we traveled on foot. It then dawned on me that all of us were using Fire types, so I switch out Cynder for Suicune, who seemed more than glad to be out of it's sphere cage. I strap my pack over my shoulder and walk towards the edge of town to the gate, the human bear and karate kid following at my heels with our pokemon not far behind them.
Once at the gate, the guard gives us an acknowledging nod and opens it up for us. The mayor stands a few yards away with her hands connected in front of her, watching us as we show ourselves out. I raise my hand in a goodbye gesture, but get nothing more than a slight smile before we pass out of sight and hear the creaking of the old gate doors shutting once more. Now we were on our own, the three of us and our faithful companions. I took a look around and noticed that there was still a bit of remaining early morning fog hanging thick in the air, and it was a little too quiet. From within the camp, you could hear people calling out, sounding like they were shooing something. Suddenly, a loud
flap! sounded off causing Cian and I to turn and look as Charizard takes off like a bullet from inside the town's border, taking to the skies. Chris, obviously knowing his Charizard too well, doesn't even have to look. A smug smile on his face.
"Ty is a hypocrite. Rushes us for taking too long, but is the last to leave."Why you gotta judge Ty? He was just saying bye to his girlfriend," Chris chuckled.
I gave a confused look to Chris who neglected to speak further, looking to Cian for an answer, raising my eyebrow. Cian's eyes meet with mine and he smirks, as well.
"Who am I to argue? A man's gotta get some when he wants some!"The image in my head that Cian provided caused me to cringe, shaking my head in attempt to rid of the memory.
"You guys are disgusting.""No, we're guys. It's literally encoded in our genes. We need physical-""Ah ah ah! Stop - I don't wanna hear it."Chris and Cian fist bump and laugh between each other. I allow myself to fall behind and walk amongst the trio of pokemon, laying a hand on the back of Suicune's neck tenderly. It was calming to me to be surrounded by pokemon, I'd always loved it, even as a child. I didn't have to have a set place to stay, anywhere my pokemon were, I felt at home.
