I disapprove on how the fact he disregards Hana's actions in favour of cheap drama.

They have a crazy ass ghoul bearing down on them, preceded by a hail of shards, so it's not like they have a lot of time to get out of the way, especially be aide Takeshi, who's not as tough as he likes to act, was frozen solid in fear. If Kazuya tried to grab and pull him out of the way and into the room behind them, they'd both probably get plastered with shards and be close to death. Adding to that, Takeshi is not going to be thinking clearly after seeing his brother get eviscerated.

I'm not disregarding Hana's actions, but it's not exactly feasible to say they dodged the attack and managed to get into their rooms. They just saw a freaking monster heading straight towards them, so yeah, they're going to get scared to hell. Now I'm sorry I didn't mention Hana's scream, that's definitely my bad. I kinda cut it out because I made that post on the DS and doing that tends to make me focus more on my own characters rather than what happens if I think I can. Them not hearing her scream could be, from Takeshi's perspective at least, be due to fear and a sort of hyper-focus on the deer-headed abomination heading their way. So it was either going to be both of them getting fucked up, or only one of them, just the way I saw that scene playing out.

Yes you are, Hana did shield that attack with her own kagune and body. She took the brunt of the attack and you are disregarding that.
