Here's what I've got. It still needs a bit of work but its more or less done.

USS Victoria

Government Type:
Stratocracy - Strictly speaking the USS Victoria still operates in much the same fashion it did before the Cataclysm with the primary difference being that the captain has full authority to promote or demote his crew as he sees fit and that his XO will automatically assume his rank and position should something happen to him.
Head of Government: Captain Shawn Taylor
Persons of Importance: Commander Lyssa McCarthy
Commander Raynard Azor
Lieutenant Colonel Hugh Meier
Race:
Prewar Humans - For the most part they are “standard” humans and have had limited genetic engineering done to them. For the most part this genetic engineering was intended to reduce birth defects, increase resist to diseases, and extend the person’s youth (but not their overall lifespan). Some individuals, those hailing from wealthy families, had more invasive genetic engineering done and have been altered to be more physically attractive and a slightly longer lifespan.
Population: 2,953
Culture and Religion:
The majority of the Victoria’s crew are either one of the numerous christian denominations or atheist. The culture of the ship is what one would expect from pre-Cataclysm America: freedom oriented, individual based, and hardworking.
Pre-Cataclysm Technology: By definition the USS Victoria and everything in it is a piece of Pre-Cataclysm technology. Of important note, besides the military equipment located on the ship, is the existence of an electronic library containing much of the Old World’s technological knowledge.
History: The Cataclysm caught most of the world’s population by surprise, but there were some who had come to expect, or at the very least be wise enough to prepare, for the worst. Project Pandora was a USN project designed to ensure the survival of the human race in the event of geothermal nuclear warfare. Project Pandora entailed the construction of massive submarines that would seek shelter under the arctic ice caps during the war and ensuing years of nuclear winter. Once the surface was safe, the submarines would then aid in the reconstruction of the United States and her allies and, if necessary, continue the fight against her enemies. The project produces three Enduring Freedom-class amphibious assault submarines in the years leading up to the Cataclysm.

Of the three submarines only the USS Victoria was fully supplied and prepared to conduct its mission. Once the Cataclysm began the USS Victoria immediately sought refuge under the arctic ice cap as per her orders. The crew was put into a cryogenic sleep and were supposed to be woken 10 years later in order to ascertain the surface’s condition. Unfortunately something went wrong with the system, resulting in the crew remaining asleep until recently.
Military: The fighting force on board the USS Victoria is divided into three groups: the crew of the USS Victoria who are in charge of operating and maintaining the ship, the marines under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Meier, and the air wing under the command of Commander Azor. The marines and air wing are both subordinate to the USS Victoria’s commanding officer, Captain Taylor.

Other:

This kind of reminds me of this tv show (that I think was also a book).
Can't remember its name, but the whole ship thing is similar.

ooh, incidentally:

<Snipped quote by Jig>

I'm calling this the treaty imposed on Jodesia in the aftermath of the Great War limiting Jodesia's military (think the Treaty of Versailles, imposed on Germany post WW1). In my head, though I'd like @Willy Vereb and @Brink_ to confirm or deny this, this would be imposed by at least one of their respective nations (along with a lost African colony)?

Definitely had something in mind that's essentially a mixture of the the Versailles and Trianon treaties. Though instead of fragmenting Jodesia into a number of territorial divisions meant to finally empower minorities of the Jodesian territory long repressed by some overbearing regime, war reparations of sizable quantity were imposed and at least some portion of land, in and around Switzerland and the northernmost stretches of Italy, was acquisition to Franco-Iberia, in addition to, as you said, some African territory that likely would've occupied some portion of the modern People's Protectorate.

Thoughts?

No stake in the matter, but so far I feel that's an interesting idea :) (Unless of course Jig or whoever else has something to add on to it)

And in whichever way, could present a perfect story opportunity.

I like it. :)

For Jodesia, the aftermath of the Great War was also the coming of absolute power for the Keizer: the political instability and general insult of losing caused great dissatisfaction among the population, and the Rijksraad was ousted completely, later to be (partially) reinstated, leaving the previous Keizer with absolute power. Not sure how Franco-Iberia would feel about that whole situation (though probably negative), but maybe we could say that the outlying territories, furthest from the Keizer (ie: East and South), were particularly belligerent and unstable and the then-Keizer (Marmora) was actually seen as a responsible, calming influence, even if power became more centralised. That kinda justifies leaving Jodesia to sort its shit out on its own. Of course, when Marmora died and Maximor took the helm (eight years ago, IIRC), the peace had been too-well entrenched to jeopardise, even if he's not a man to be trusted further than he can be thrown. Depending on how much you want to involve yourself in this, Franco-Iberia could have actually tacitly encouraged or supported the centralisation of power, if they might now want to wring their hands over having made something of a monster.

Incidentally, uhh, what was the Great War, you know, about? :P
I did want to maybe work some stuff out with Shorticus, but realised that I had no idea who all of the parties were or what was even being fought over, which wasn't the best position to work from.

Hmm, I think I should bring this since I don't see it in any of your sheets.

Given we decided nuclear power was kosher (but nukes trigger the kill sats) I'm going to go ahead and say Cascadia's newest submarine class is nuclear. The bulk of my navy submarines are still going to be Diesel Electric ofc.

Ok. So first post out. Monkey, Ink, if either of you want to collab some interaction between your forces and my fighters let me know. If they aren't noticed by your forces they are just going to do a flyover and take pictures.

If anyone else in the region want to have some sort of interaction with the Victoria lemme know.

Just like to make an announcement that we are now officially full, as such I've filed out the remaining blanks with NPCs. A small group of which are deemed as "Minor Republics, States and Tribes" as they too small to even count.

Awesome @Sigma

On another note @Inkdrop@Sigma, shouldn't Greenland look like this?

It's probably just the map, but just for confirmation the ice caps have melted right? And the global temp is higher? Atleast that's the impression I was under.

@Isotope Perhaps, although I'm not the author of the Map :P although I could tweak the map to fit the climate.
