For his part, Cliver tried not to put to much pressure on hers. Three shorts, gentle shakes and then it was over. He nodded approvingly at her, let out the breath he hadn't even realized he had been holding, then looked about trying to find something else to occupy his attention. He found it coming up the trail.

"That halfling with you guys too?" He asked

Lilith, however had noticed the man's change in attitude, and she had a basic concept of why, due to obvious reasons of nymphs not appreciating someone cutting down trees. She tugged Cliver down to her height so she could whisper 'Clover won't bite, she's a real sweetheart who's too young to have a grasp on the world yet. She just wants the creature out, nothing more.' before letting him go and letting him stand back up to his full height.

"If you could personally help us with rebuilding the guild it would be much appreciated. After 450 years and no more protection spell, the poor building is collapsing on itself which is a real problem now that there's more than just me living there." she chuckled a little, making light of her situation. "My name is Lilith and I'm the newest guild master of Grayfall Guild. Your help in getting rid of whatever has wondered down from the mountains is much appreciated, however, we have one member who wondered off on her own, so we need to find her before tracking the beast."

After hearing him mention a halfling, Lilith turned around to see Elras approaching from behind, muttering to himself.

"Oh, Elas!" she called out, assuming that was his name since it was all she could read on his bloody contract, "did Artorius send you?"

"She might have gotten ahead of you, then. I swear I saw something moving around out there when I was up in that tree looking for the beast."

*Seeing as it is taking the other's awhile to get caught up Sarrai'a begins to get worried and starts to rush back along the trail hoping that something terrible hasn't happened to them*

"Yeah, she's quite the speedster." Lilith admitted, still looking at Elras expectantly.

[Kuibe]

"Artorius...? SO HE WASN'T IN MY HEAD!"

*He proudly exclaims as he walks closer and notices all the new people that he has never seen before"

"I see you've made new friends.... How long was I asleep for?"

"A little over an hour." Lilith replied, waving him over. She then signified the party member who was still hiding in her cloak.

"This is Sky, we found her hunched over in the forest, so I'm going to let her stay the night." Lilith then moved her hand gesture to Cliver, "And this is our client, Cliver. He's been having trouble with some creature in the forest that's been destroying trees and killing livestock, so we're going to help him get rid of it in exchange for some lumber and help reconstructing the guild."

Clover heard the wolf-kin coming up the path, and turned to wave her over, smiling.

"We found the woodsman! Come and say hello!"

She had been in the process of trying to coax information about the creature from the trees nearby, but to no avail. She hoped they would find it soon, to stop this carnage.

*Sarrai'a slowed her pace so as not to plow into her friends* "I'm glad you are all safe, and we found the woodsman. Does he know anything about the creature that has caused this carnage."

[Kuibe]

*Elras nods as he pretends that he knew who the nymph was as well*

"Wow so much has happened in an hour, interesting... Regardless nice to meet you all!"

*He says as he looks back and forth through the group flashing a smile*

Clover looked at Elras. And who was this? So many new friends! She waved at the halfling, before turning back to the rest of the group.

"I am Elras! And who might you be?"

*as he waves back at the nymph*

Clover met his gaze, and smiled broadly.

"I am Clover! It is a pleasure to meet you!"

"Well now that we are all together lets travel together I'd rather not run into whatever this thing is alone."

[Kuibe]

*Elras smiles back and walks closer to the group"

"It is nice to meet you as well!"

"Gonna need to clarify, I'm not the guy that hired you. I work for him, on account of him being a friend of my father. As for the creature, we know it's big, it's quick, and it's eyes glow. It comes out at night and if this trail leads where I think it does, it's probably nested down in a big cavern to the southwest." He closes his eyes and thinks for a moment longer, then says. "And it doesn't like other predators. I've found bear, puma, fox, just shredded to pieces. No wolves though. It leaves them alone, but they're cowering in their dens. We haven't had any trouble with them lately."

Lilith mentally smacked herself in the back of the head for assuming that he already knew all the members of the guild.

"Well...I'm far from a ranger, so my best guess when it comes to tracking would be following the destruction...which does appear to be leading southwest for now, so that all checks up!"

*Sarrai'a having heard of something similar from the members of her old pack perks up* "We are definitely going to need to be careful, from the sounds of it we might be dealing with a werewolf, based on the unharmed wolves, and the other characteristics you mentioned."

Caelus piped up, motioning to his hunting equipment.

"I could probably be of service when it comes to ranging... I have been hunting since I was a child. Tracking is one of my strong suits."

[Thistle]

"Let us be off, then! This thing thinks that it can destroy my forest..."

Clover sounded angry for once. Beneath her feet, the grass and moss began to quiver, as if a harsh breeze had gone by, when no such wind was in the air.
