"Well at least it's not rats. I once knew a poor gentleman with a very serious rat problem."

Drek's expression twists slightly for a moment into a distant look of fear and disgust then returns to normal as he steps towards the path carved out by the destruction.

"I'm sure we can handle whatever beast is causing this mess easy. We are a guild after all."

"Yes lets" *Sarrai'a said taking up her spot in the groups traveling formation, and continued to sniff and listen for anything that could try to ambush the group*

Caelus followed along, having his bow ready in case they ran into this creature before they expected.

Cliver sticks near the middle of the group, ready to put himself between any of the smaller members of the guild and any surprise attack. He holds his axe on his shoulder, but doesn't unsheathe its blade.

Clover, unaware of how combat in a group works, places herself near the front of the group as they travel, determined to be the first (and last) to encounter this beast.

*eldras follows in the back pulling out a juice box from his bag and sipping it while walking*

*Sarrai'a seeing the little nymph take the lead, leaps over her* "Clover while you may want to get to this thing first I will not allow you to be the first person it attcacks."

Seeing as everyone was informing of their abilities, Sky pipes up in her melodic voice, "I can heal." Her hunchback shifts slightly again, part of the cloak exposing a feather.

Lilith followed along after her overzealous guild members who eagerly took the lead. Her boots would occasionally get stuck in fallen branches and brush now that they were walking off trail, so she silently cursed herself for not putting on her rouge gear before leaving, but she didn't want to hold anyone up since leather took a while to put on for some stupid reason. After seeing Clover take the lead, she panicked internally, frightened that the creature would see her as easy pickings, so she went to retrieve her and return to the middle. Lilith then strategically placed herself behind Cliver and in front of Clover and Elras since she had no way of gauging their abilities merely from their appearance, so she wanted to protect them just in case.

Clover pouted, but didn't fight back. The wolf-kin and witch were just being protective, and what could she expect from a wolf? It was kind, and she appreciated it.

"Since it sounds like the creature will be inside a cave, how is everyone's ability to see in the dark?"

[Boodles]

Drek took a position next to Sky, axe slung over his shoulder. He watched the squabbling between the Clover and Sarrai'a as they vied for the lead of the pack, a smile plastered across his face.

"They sure are eager."

[Gentlemanvaultboy]

"I can't." Said Cliver, looking around. "But it's not as though there isn't enough wood around for torches. We could also build a few bonfires around the entrance and wait for it until nightfall."

"Fair enough, it is probably in our best interest not to face the creature in it's den, so camping out is not a terrible idea."

Caelus nodded in agreement with Cliver.

"We might be able to use the torches to our advantage in combat, too. Perhaps the creature fears fire."

[Thistle]

Clover nodded her head. Whatever this "fire" stuff was, it sounded good. She hoped it wasn't as scary as her friends made it sound, but as long as it wasn't like the Red Death...she could handle it!

"And we'd be able to burn the corpse afterwards. You never want to leave monsters to rot."

[Kuibe]

*Elras nods* "I agree on burning the body, never leave monsters to rot or there could just be more trouble"

*Remembering the nymph's reaction to fire looks to the people that have said they are casters* "Can any of you produce a magical light, more so that we don't have to worry about the fire spreading, otherwise we will need to risk gathering stones to form a fire pit. We can burn the body at back at the guild, where we can control the fire easier."

"Don't let my glowey yellow eyes fool you, my ability is pretty much non-existent, so torches would be appreciated." Lilith admitted, still remaining a low-key protective stance in front of the only people smaller than her.

After a while of walking off trail, following the destruction, The small group eventually came across large clearing with a cave in a sharp cliff side just as the sun looked like it would set soon. Surprisingly, not all the trees in the area had been broken, but those that had held traces of thick gray hair on them as if they had broke while the creature was scratching it's back or simply attempting squeeze between a couple of trees and miserably failing. There didn't appear to be anything else living in the area, which only helped to thicken the tension of the adventurers. The air was entirely still, and all there was to be heard was the party's soft breathing.
