Name: Frederick Gunar
Age: 42
Gender: Male
Callsign:"Viking"
Kills: 23 confirmed, 4 uncomfirmed
Psychological Analysis:
Frederick is a very intelligent person, though this statement is often inflated by massive amounts of alcohol, and as such quite observative. He isn't smart by any means, his knowledge of things is pretty limited, but he can learn things very fast, and adopt them even faster and make them habits. This has earned him a place amongst MAS pilots.
He also claims to be a true descendat of vikings, even thought his family was probably never related to the actual barbarians from Earth. Despite this, he beleives in norse gods, and even knows celtic languages.
He has a knack for beverages, often drinking when not supposed to. He follows the golden rule of no booze before driving a MAS, and he sticks to this with his life if need be. But anytime else he usually can be found drunk. Nobody knows why he is such an acoholic, but he seems to be handling it better than anyone else.
Frederick is a kind person, and will go into a lot of trouble to help people he considers close friends. He is easy to be with, as he is very laid back, and usually teh guy telling the jokes and telling stories about bar fights and such. He will often tease people with his tall stature (7 foot) and other things he can think of, often making people angry. But in the end Frederick is very kindhearted and doesn't hold grudges nor wants bad for his comrades. Despite all this, he can be very sentimental, but only between the 10th and 13th beer. It seems he has some things he'd rather keep for himself, but despite these secrets he usually says what he thinks about people.
He is also not the one to take things seriously. He would rather get punished for being drunk than to miss a beer even if he has to go somewhere. He is probably one of those persons who live in a world much more colorful than ours, and such we will never understand them truly
In combat situations Frederick can stay composed in even the most serious cases, and often lightens the mood when he cracks a good joke over comms. A real teamplayer, even more than outside the MAS, you can count on him coming to help you out if you ask. it should be noted that he has a good sense for fighting, and usually finds his way around most problems he encounters on the battlefield. To him the battle is a plain and simple occurance in life, run by a single principle. Shoot them befory they shoot you. His life however is the only think he takes seriously. The will to survive in Frederick is commendable, and he has gotten out of many otherwise lethal situations thanks to it.
Military Record:
Fred lived his whole life as a freelancer, and never really settled down to make a career or get a family. His life was from bar to bar, contract to contract. He used to be a mercenary looking for work. Born in the Krellian Republic, there wasn't much to do for him. But if someone did need a job done they could always find some mercenaries looking for work. Frederick was one of those, he'd say on of the best if you asked him. but life was still rough, and you cannot keep living a well sustained life with nothing more than the armor on you, a trusty axe and a few credits on your account.
So naturally when the news of war arrived to him, he spent all his money on a ticket to get on a shuttle to get to Coalition territory. Not beacuse he had a particular interest in the Coalition, but because it's all he had money for. His hopes were to make a big buck from the war, helping out offical forces on some missions or what not. He got what he wished for, and he was recruited to be part of a high stake assault on a UEE target. The mission went horribly wrong, and his squad got decimated. Enemy squadron of MAS encountered his unit, and moved down every single ne of his comrades. He himself only survived by hiding behind debree, and hiding under the dead bodies laying around him.
After waiting for a week behind enemy lines, starved, thirsty and covered in blood of both enemies and friends luck turned on him and with insane luck, the will to survive and a handful of rocket launchers lying around the battlefield he managed to disable an enemy MAS patrolling in the area. He contacted the Coalition forces for evacuation, and within a few hours he was already off the planet, with a memory he would never forget. His actions proved invaluable to the Coalition thought, and the intel he provided eventually helped them push the UEE back.
It wasn't until a months later, once his nerves settled down that he decided to join the C-MAD program. Ever since the encounter he first met the UEE MAS he knew he wanted to pilot one of those and dish out punishement to the UEE. So after long months of training, and a lot of failures partially because of his age and his constant drunken state he got recruited. He was an incredibly team based personality, and he was quickly recognized once he saved a dozen or so lives. Thought he never gave much acknowledgement to this, even refusing a medal to hide his horrible memories, in due time he was scouted for the Tigres team. He accepted, not only because his life was tied to the coalition army from now, but rather because he wasn't ready to lose people near him ever again.
Equipment: Frederick always carries his trusty axe, as a true Viking should. A couple of nades to easen up though situations, and of course the rifle he used ever since he was a mercenary. He is not very keen on letting any of them ago, including his body armor from when he was left behind UEE lines.
