Apologies on the delay on releasing what was a relatively short post. I do find activity tends to travel in packs. In the future I should hope to respond earlier than this but it has been an oddly busy time rp wise currently.
Daisy

So it seemed the woman was quite enthusiastic. She mostly remained quiet and nodded along, even after being silenced by her... Servant? It wasn't quite clear what the woman and the other being's relationship was at that time. Daisy's own company had stayed quite still by her side, his lantern casting it's unearthly pale blue light upon the immediate area they stood within. Despite not moving much his cloak flowed with an unfelt wind, continuously shifting but never exposing what laid beneath.

"I see." Daisy's face exposed little to no reaction, even as she responded. Thinking on the matter if the girl did know a fair bit of this world and the festival in particular it might be beneficial to at least extract a bit of information from her before they'd part ways.

"I can see you are... Knowledgeable of this land. As I am new to this land myself I find I... Don't have a real idea of where to start. Forgive my peaceful interrogation but would you be able to provide me a few details regarding the land or perhaps even this festival itself?"

She glanced to the crowd but saw not the fears she recalled from those that had tried to sneak by earlier. It's no use She consigned herself to the fact that she wasn't going to be able to follow up on such characters until later if at all. She hadn't much tangible purpose to do so but any desire to left her conscious mind as she returned her attention to the talkative one.
Got Thessir's response up. He certainly does tend to carry out discussions under rather turbulent situations with fair frequency it seems.
Thessir

Well, things certainly weren't going his way today.

Just as he believed himself to be rid of the nuisance barring him from proceeding onward to the markets a wild holler drew his attention back to the blonde fool who proceeded to ram into him. In an attempt to dodge Thessir had only managed to turn his back to his new attacker before he was thrown to the ground, his aggressor promptly landing upon him thereafter.

"Hey now! There's little need to-" Thud. The brutish human had grabbed him by the head and drove his face into the floor quite brusquely. As his head was lifted back up he caught sight of another fellow not too far away, a sort who carried himself like a fighter though he was scantily clad with nary a weapon in immediate sight. Then again he wasn't exactly combing over anyone's appearances while his head was being used to pave the cobblestones.

"Hello sir! As you- ow- can see I am currently in a rough- ow- spot, so to say. Could you perhaps- ow- help me sort this out? The guards don't seem- ow- too interistid in helping right now for some reason." He called out to the Beastkin passerby, his humble request punctuated with repeated thuds as his head was continuously hammered upon the ground. He wasn't aware of what happened to the guards yet so he made no assumptions that they'd help or not and simply left his focus on the beastkin fellow instead.

He didn't want to resort to offering any sort of reward right off the bat in case the guy happened to just be a good samaritan who'd help for free but it wasn't like he wouldn't sweeten the deal if it came to that. He was mostly hoping to get out of this without having to resort to any more magic since he was still mending over the skin lost from the last fight. Last thing he needed was to have his flesh become shadows whilst the setting sun's rays had yet to dwindle. Compared to that these head slams would equate to fervent tickles, annoying but a fair distance off from the pain it's light would bring him.

Yeah, he figured it was best to just let someone else help him deal with it the old-fashioned way.
Sounds all good by me.

So it would seem they would contact him later with the date of his next match. Having little more than a night or possibly less to recover was not an attractive thought to him but it was what it was. He wasn't going to cry over it, especially not over a bottle of healing solution which he nursed as he walked.

You know, why do I even bothir walking? I could just be in the city marketplace in a near instant! It's a little silly that I'm just strolling on over when I could save so much time-

He was so deep in thought that he wasn't even aware of the scene he walked in on before he was stuck right in the middle of it. Having been just shuffling along, one hand in his coat pocket and the other clutching the bottle to his lips, he looked up with some surprise when someone spoke his name aloud.

"Wha, who?" He looked around with confusion before finally landing his eyes upon the speaker, the tall blonde human who was speaking at him.

"We got to have second chances right? One loss doesn't have to be out of the tournament, right? I wasn't even at my best! I have the right to be back in the tournament!"

_
... Nope, he was drawing all blanks as to who this guy was. Couldn't match a name to this face for the life of him.

"Well, um..." He had to think quick! A response was needed or else he would need to straight up flee this conversation and that got people talked about. He remembered the last time he did that he created some buzz amidst the Academy rumor cycle. He had to lay low for a good while 'till that died down just to be able to pick up books without drawing numerous stares from all around. Bloody gawkers the lot.

His brain hit it's stride however, conjuring up what he believed was a witty comment to inject into this dilemma he was stuck in.

"Why, of course we always have second chances." He swaggered over by the young man, leaning in a bit with a wry grin. "You just need to wait a year first." Leaning on his forward heel he spun behind the guy upon his feet like a door swinging wide open. Using the momentum he kicked off into a strut, walking with his back to them all.

"Anyhow, Et is time for shopping!" He attempted to dismiss himself without too much fuss. With all that said and done he set back into a forward slouch, his mouth sinking back into a miserable frown. He needed to make it down to the market place before it closed so he could buy ingredients to make poisons for his next fights and the hours these fights were taking place in were far from kind to him given his ordinarily nocturnal schedule.

"Bloody day-walkirs, putting events right in the middle of day time." He muttered, his exposed under-layers of skin sticking to his shirt in patches while he drained another sip of his healing potion and continued to shuffle his feet listlessly along the dry cobbled stone road.
I have made my post. Future posts of mine should experience far less delay fortunately.

"Good Evening, and welcome. You showed up just in time, the festivities are just about to begin. Oh, if I were to make a suggestion, you probably already smelled it, but a resident of our village here should already have made some of her famous apple pies, you should head over to her stand."

Daisy nodded, listening to their greeter's welcome. She was suddenly distracted as two figured slipped by the two of them. Looking aside to those that slipped them by her eyes followed not their backs but their fears as they sifted into the crowd and out of sight, at least from others. She was about to ask who those might of been but an older looking woman approached, merrily inquiring about her.

"Ooooo, what do we have here? Oh oh oh, your a witch aren't you? I've never seen or felt magic like yours. It feels strange, but also strong. I use barrier magic, what's your magic called?"

Daisy looked down at her feet, trying not to let her gaze drift above to the fears attached to her.

_
"My magic is... A form of summoning magic." She answered hesitantly, somewhat uncomfortable with her directness. She overlapped her hands in front of her, concealing each within the combined sleeves of both. This was largely to conceal the fact her hands were fidgeting a bit with discomfort. She took a step back, buying herself more personal space before looking up to the caster before her. She made a conscious effort not to let her eyes drift too far up lest she be caught staring above her without visible cause.

"If I may ask, are you a local?" She inquired, breaking the standing silence between them that was almost notable. She sounded composed but it was a mask. She was far less comfortable with this than the magician before her was, something she'd rather suffer for over letting the truth be known.
Here are my characters.

I am alright. I have been without internet for the last few days because I've been moving to a new location. As it turns out the recent spike of activity just so happens to coincide with this meaning I've been unable to reply to all the new posts until now.

I'll be fairly busy catching up but I should be able to have a post up within a couple days or so. Apologies for the delay.
