You know I'll be game to jump aboard the new iteration.
Just a heads up for everyone I'll be posting a response from Oao plus an update on the fear spire event tomorrow night.
@Lmpkio - On my next post. I'm giving folks a chance to interact before I write in Oao's response to everyone along with another development. I have three more development posts to make before the event reaches it's terminus, each phase with room for others to get involved how they may.
@Archangel89 - Depends. If the change to his Divine Cord is under 50% of his total power then when he leaves the influence of the Divine Cord's power he'll revert back to Deception. If it is above 50% then his Divine Cord will adopt the domain of fear regardless of whether or not a Divine Cord of fear already exists.

I'll reveal more on this when I progress the event.
@Archangel89 - You are certainly welcome to have him take on the fear domain in exchange for Deception. Do bear in mind that even if he possesses the domain the Divine Cord won't be claimed until certain conditions are met. It is entirely possible for him to claim the fear domain without ever possessing the Divine Cord of fear leading to one of the few instances where two or more gods can have the same domain.

A unique dilemma to be certain.
@Stern Algorithm - The way I see it Gammaton kind of require Iva'krorh to pass his message along to the rest of the gods, yes? A likely place he could get that done would be during the spire event. After the spire event reaches it's terminus we can shuffle time forward to where Gammaton has all of Iva's laws written up which is where Iva can bring the answers given by the rest of the deities back to him.
@Archangel89 - It's a bit more complex than that. You see, only a Divine Cord can control a domain. A god is built up from the Divine Cord and up in this order:

Divine Chord -> The Mind -> The Physical Form.

Thus, any form of divine power which affects a god changes them in an inverse order like so:

The Physical Form -> The Mind -> Divine Cord.

Thus, Iarus would need to be inside the aura for long enough for the fear to alter his body and mind before it could start to alter his Divine Cord. Now, altering one's own Divine Cord is a dangerous matter. Saturate it too much and he could lose his former domain to the new one entirely. If his Divine Cord is only mildly affected by the divine power then the foreign domain may flavor his current domain. This effect will wear off over some time as a single cord can only hold one domain and will reshape itself around it's primary domain.

More than that I cannot say until it becomes relevant to the story lest I spoil the efforts of discovery.
@Lmpkio - A mistake or two to note is that the spire is several miles away from North Crown and Oao was speaking barely louder than a whisper when she addressed the droves of wild animals driven into her region. She had dissolved the larger form and had created a much smaller one just opposite of Hyperion across the crater which is hiding while it watches the spire's progress. While it may have been feasible for him to see her far off before she dissolved that body I highly doubt he'd of heard her.
@Lord Zee - It is entirely possible to accrue additional domains through additional Divine Cords both found and stolen from fellow gods. This, however, is not a cord. Not specifically.

More shall be made clear in future developments of this scenario. I've simply issued a warning OOC-wise for those to avoid an unintentional change to their gods for fairness's sake.

I do have my reasons for only revealing as much as is required to learn before it's revealed IC.
@Lord Zee - Since Anu'Varr is starting to try and approach the spire this is a good time to note some of the more extreme changes one can undergo via exposure to the aura.

As she approaches her divine essence will be suffused with the divine essence of fear. This will in effect weaken her connection to her own domain while her Divine Cord absorbs the domain emitted from the power of the twin strands. If she comes close enough to the beams or spends long enough near the spire her Divine Cord will lose her domain in it's entirety as it'll be overwritten by the domain of the aura. She will be changed from a goddess of Devilry to a goddess of Fear, losing all connection and influence over the former and gaining dominion over the latter. While all her creations will remain she will lose all connection to them since the power they were created with will no longer be hers to command.

The gods however aren't wholly aware of this yet. It's just a note of caution for those interested in having their deity brave the spire.
