@Dealdric - In taking the reigns of this rp in order to keep our efforts from being spent in vain it has come with the requirement that I shape the setting and it's history by my own hand. As such things will have changed from the original concept. While certain aspects remain true the fact remains that there are no known deities older than Those of The World. Only the plants, animals and landscapes predate them.

What more there is to the world must be learned. Some facets have already been observed such as the spires that have been popping up but there is much more to learn. I can guarantee that the next event will reveal parts of this world previously unseen though I cannot assure you that it won't raise more questions.

Also the moon itself is currently open for taking as a domain as I currently understand. She will need to be born into this world however as I've cut off any and all retroactive inclusions of new gods on account of the fact that their absence from the current narrative wouldn't make sense since they were around all along despite having no mention of them from any of the existing deities. The earliest I could introduce her would be with the rest of the newcomers which will be inbound after this next event.
@Stern Algorithm - It's a secret of his so all I can say is that it's not older than him.

@ZAVAZggg - If by artifacts you mean items imbued with divine power then of course. Just like anything created by gods however over time they will slowly lose their power without a constant feed of power from a divine source. All things require energy and divine power requires a divine source.
@Dealdric - Just read your recent post. Noticed your mention of "Primordial Cords" and it left me confused since that's the first I've heard of it.

I should note that there are no deities older than Those of The World and that the only things that are currently known that are more powerful are Divine Cord bundles with Oao currently holding a Divine Cord bundle of two.

On a separate note happy holidays everyone. I'm planning to have this event reach it's terminus within a couple posts of mine before moving ahead with the next event, something to pick the pace up a bit.
Figured since it's the most eye-catching scene present Sophia would send in a raven to see what's up. Being new to the region getting a read on who's who can be valuable insight.
Across the city many ravens flew. From eyes to eyes she flitted her vision, moving her own gaze through each of the raven's own eyes to quickly scan each area before moving on to the next. A fine network spread across the city allowed her to view a small region almost completely through her legion of shadows. At night she was able to cover so much more but for now this would suffice.

For the most part it was mundane. Men, women and children went about there lives no differently than back home for the most part. For all their differences people really were all alike, both for better and for worse. One set of eyes caught sight of an altercation taking place between what was immediately obvious to be magical girls. Three of them were clearly changed into their alter egos while one seemed to be caught in the middle of the mess, a fairy quite near her.

Deciding to investigate more closely she brought the raven in close, landing on the ledge of the rooftop overlooking the alleyway. Now close she could hear some of the words being exchanged. The two appeared to be disparaging the mundane girl. It was starting to become clear that the topic on hand was the event she had come for: The Hex Night.

They were quite heartless towards her. She continued to watch, the dark raven perched calmly as it spectated.

@VitaVitaAR@Anza
I'd attribute the slowness in posting to general holiday interference.

Fear not though, the plant spire event doesn't have much farther to go and I'm reasonably sure the next event will shake things up a tad.
@LuckyBlackCat - I don't think I've mentioned what her wish is going to be.

I think given her state she'd rather have everyone give up peacefully and let her claim the wish. If she must fight she'll likely aid the magical girls who have no defenses against her powers so that way when it comes time she can remove them with ease. It's not the preferred solution but given what she has in mind it is worth it.
@Iceborne - Aha. An easy mistake but it would seem the terms are all encompassing in that regard.
@Iceborne - Are you implying magical girls aren't human?...

I understand it's a fuzzy distinction but they technically count.

Edit: @Raineh Daze - If I recall correctly at least two or more are in the general area of a shrine.
Got my opening post up. Given how Sophia's a foreigner she'll likely not know any of the local magical girls to start. Hopefully there's no issues with the details involving her involvement in the contest.
