That telling pause spoke volumes in place of what she said. She was able to deduce that, given Fuyuko's nervousness upon the approaching topic, neither one of them wanted her to know exactly what this social group was about. If they didn't want her to know for sure then it was most likely involved in the Hex Night.

"I see." Her expression remained the same as she continued along. Though it remained unspoken she was no less aware of the reality of their relationship. Regardless of how they felt about each other one was just an obstacle before the other. Sooner or later someone's dream would have to come to an end so that the other may push forward on this constant struggle to make their heart's desire a reality. A cruel means to an end.

"Have you met any others here? Besides us?"

Sophia simply shook her head.

"Besides those who I witnessed in the aforementioned conflict earlier I have met no one else." She softly sighed as she looked up at the dimming of the evening twilight while she rolled along on the sidewalk. It was a lonesome road to walk, one she was well familiar with. She had never connected too well with the magical girls of Britain due to her juxtaposition against the values of happiness and light that most all magical girls uphold. She fought from the shadows. She wielded darkness. She was filled with sadness.

She was the perfect magnet for shades.

And it had not slipped past her notice that the daylight was starting to fade. As a magical girl it was no less her duty to protect humanity from the influence of shades and she knew that they'd come for her and her family before the night was done. No matter what her wish might grant or how she could not risk leading those closest to her to harm as a result of her pursuit. It may very well not matter should she succeed but she knew that the possibility of failure was very real. Even as powerless before her ultimate fate as she was it behooved her to ensure that whatever fate befell her had as little backlash on her family as she could realistically prevent.

"The hour grows late. I suspect the task of keeping shades in check falls upon you no less than I." Sophia looked out down the road, the first of a number of streets that led down to hotel room her family was staying at. A moment of inspiration suddenly struck her despite her expression remaining a blank canvas.

"Perhaps we could exchange phone numbers in case you wish to speak further at a later date." She produced her phone and quickly thumbed her way to her contacts page.

"That is, should you desire to speak with myself again." She didn't wish to pressure Fuyuko or her sister into offering anything up that she was not comfortable with relinquishing. With that said she awaited Fuyuko's answer, ready to accept whichever choice Fuyuko makes.

Zun - Airport

Al's expression didn't change a whole lot as the two answered his question to the best of their ability but he did cringe and just casually face palmed with his left hand when the croc guy named Wally mentioned the hits up in Norway.

"Yeah. I was on the plane to there when I read the news. Wasted a solid week askin' around the few Nordic folk I could hold a conversation with before moving on." Al returned his hand to his pocket looking no less casual than he did before. He wasn't particularly phased when May got up in his face like so. She wasn't a particularly bad looker so that helped. Even then every so often he'd glance around, even over his shoulder. He didn't really make much a motion of it but he did look here or there very briefly from time to time.

"Anyways yeah I know 'em. Been tracking them for a few years. I've only managed to find them about three times including the first run-in. Last time was in Cairo and when I finally caught 'em stealin' the stone we fought for a bit before the large guy with the bug armor hammered me into the asphalt like a tent peg with the front end of a tour bus before buzzing off on his creepy bug wings."

_
"If you want I can give you their descriptions in case you see 'em. The big guy's about three heads taller than me and covered in some weird thick black bug chitin armor with glowin' red eyes and stuff. This other guy was only slightly taller than me and dressed in a... Business suit and uh..." Al was visibly distracted towards the end of that description as something caught his eye.

Having worked in mall security Al knew his way around crowded places so the sight of an airport filled with all sorts of strange looking sorts didn't really throw him off from what was going on in the background. While the two figures didn't exactly warrant any special attention there was a group that did.

In a place full of colorful and unique individuals the one thing that would stand out most is any sort of uniformity. When a decent number of figures in coats not characteristic of the region started making their way through with suspicious briefcases Al simply could not help but notice. They didn't look like the rest of the airport staff nor did they look like they belonged with the security detail for the tournament staffers.

"Hey, what are those guys?" He asked the reporter as he gestured with his thumb towards a small group of the long coated men. "They the local gestapo or somethin'?"

Given the recent news of civil infighting in Zun it seemed only natural to draw that conclusion. He just hoped that he was wrong for once and things weren't about to take a turn for the worse.
Good evening. Just posting on update regarding my progress for some of the material I have planned. I'm largely waiting to see Duoya's post (Unless I missed it which is possible) before I progress this scene further.

In addition I have some more content in development currently. More specifically I'm developing two new deities and an interest check to drum up more interest in this rp. For those of you who joined recently you'll be seeing an update regarding the state of the world once these drop, giving potential newcomers an ideal spot to jump into as well as a rundown as to what's up in the world as it currently stands.

I probably should also fix up some details on the front page before any of that shows. Fear not though, progress is steady so you shouldn't have to wait overlong to see movement in the main world.
@LuckyBlackCat - I was thinking that since Sophia referenced Tokiko it might lead the topic to the Magical Girl Chatroom. She doesn't know of it yet since she's a recent arrival but once she does it may mesh nicely with her distributed network of eyes.

As for the conversation itself I do not mind them continuing on the discussion. Whether or not you wish for Fuyuko to remain to speak with Sophia longer or split off to interact with others I'll leave to whichever suits your preference. Sophia will be around either which way, analyzing the situation and learning more of her fellow magical girls so that she might see to it that the more dangerous competitors are eliminated first.

Or perhaps turn her eyes to the more secretive elements surrounding this event. Try and gleam more of what might be watching back.
@LuckyBlackCat - Do bear in mind that Sophia is not a front line fighter. In any particular confrontation she'll flee and attempt to establish a hiding spot so she can take care of the threat remotely using her magic. If shades are introduced the odds of them having a post-fight conversation will be low. It was pretty unlikely for Fuyuko to find her the first time and it largely fell upon the fact she has a sister with undisclosed powers as a result of her lack of a CS, one such power being the ability to locate her. Given how dangerous it is for her to be seen and involved in matters directly I can't see Sophia letting her guard down purposefully in an event such as that once her hiding spot's reestablished.

It's yours and VitaVitaAR's choice of course. I can only control Sophia's choices in any particular event.
I still remain. I do wish you a stable recovery in the meanwhile.
"I know not."

She answered back. As she rolled up to the intersection she came to a stop both because she wanted to make sure no vehicles were crossing before she used the crosswalk and also because she was considering her next words with care. There was a tenuous balance as to how much to let on that she needed to strike. To yield a full understanding of how she operated meant that later on such knowledge would most likely be used against her. She had approached the subject however and thus needed to provide an answer of some satisfaction.

"Last I had seen her she was under attack from other magical girls. I could not remain, circumstances would not allow it."

With no cars in sight she started across the road, her wheels taking her across to the sidewalk parallel to the park.

"She was in the company of another one however. A magical girl who sported a lab coat and fought with an assembled companion that served as her archetype."

Sophia took a moment to contemplate before looking back up to Fuyuko.

"Since you reside in the area would you happen to know of her?"

An innocent question. Perhaps Fuyuko might suspect her of trying to interrogate her for information regarding the competition. Perhaps not.

She'd just have to see what came of it.

@LuckyBlackCat
@Stern Algorithm - That would largely depend on how well you believe Gammaton would be able to identify the mana as being connected to the essence of magic.

@ZAVAZggg- All fair. In any case the post poses no issues to me as of currently so it's all good.
@Stern Algorithm - Not any longer.
@Stern Algorithm - Yes. The setting for it's sphere would be modeled after Ahmenophus's nature, likely full of sand with an oasis of liquid mana settled in the middle.

@ZAVAZggg - The only thing I'll note is that those deities who's Divine Cords are not gathered within the spheres of the palace's main hall would simply be sleeping, not missing altogether. They technically can be found provided one has the means to reach the location they sleep within.
