Personal Information
Name: Kirari Aozora Age: 18 Dorm: Earth
Kirari is of average height for a young woman, standing at 168cm (5' 6"). However, what stands out about her is that she's well over the weight that one would consider healthy for her, tipping the scales at a massive 86kg (189lbs); this shows in her form as well, giving her a BWH ratio of 38-38-36 if measured in inches, or 97-97-91 if measured in centimeters. While she dresses her uniform and casual clothing to ensure that her waist isn't too heavily exposed, Kirari isn't afraid to wear a bikini in place of a one-piece swimsuit; she'll even claim that she has a better bikini bod than some people she sees in bikinis, most notably those with less well-equipped "assets". Her long, coal black hair more often than not covers the right of her bright, sun yellow eyes (along with that entire side of the face, mind you), and is long enough to reach down to her lower back. She'll sometimes gather it into a ponytail and tie it off on either side. While her uniform shows minimal amount of unnecessary exposure, Kirari's casual attire is a different story; it can sometimes be seen to be (albeit not purposefully) revealing up top. This is likely due to some of her older clothes that she sometimes chooses to wear having been stretched in order to contain her girth.
A vibrant individual at heart, Kirari is passionate about her pursuit in becoming the greatest female duelist known to man. She'll strive to put herself at the very top of all of Harmonia, especially if that means she gets past the Light Dorm's champion and gets to rub it in Leopold's face if she wants to. That doesn't mean to say that she'd cheat by hiding cards down her top to pull out at the right moment or reprogramming her Duel Disk so that card effects play out how she wants them to over how they're supposed to or anything; she's a much more honorable player than that, and would never stoop to such lows for an easy win. Kirari is always looking for a challenging opponent wherever she goes, and if someone manages to beat her in a duel fair and square, she'll spend the next few hours of her spare time scrutinizing over what she'd learnt about that someone's deck in an effort to improve her match-up against it. Next time, she'll be fully prepared to duel that player again.
Kirari absolutely despises anyone who shows a severe lack of respect for anyone except themselves and their friends. She'll stand up to any bullies without hesitation, and is not above bitch-slapping anyone who would refer to her weight in a mocking manner. On that same token, Kirari will also encourage someone who's feeling a little down on their luck to find confidence in themselves, and be who they are without the need to fear any repercussions. While she respects that others have the right to hold their own opinions about who she is and how she's currently living her life, the more condensing and scathing any criticisms they might have come across to her, the more adamantly she'll refuse to change for them; her stubbornness knows no bounds in this regard, which may or may not be to her detriment.
However, unless one has a knack for getting on and staying on her bad side, Kirari can actually prove to be a great friend to have. She's honorable, respectful, highly understanding and loyal to one's cause, and due to the thick skin that she's garnered over the years, she's hard to provoke. All the qualities one could ever look for in a best friend. And if one proves themselves to be considerate, she'll be there when one needs it most. All in all, if you need a friend... or even a well mannered rival, Kirari will always be there. And she'll make sure not to disappoint.
When she was young, Kirari Aozara always had a short round body structure that made her a prime target for fat shaming by all the other children at the elementary duel school that she attended. She'd be called all sorts of names, and even though the teachers would scold the children that were calling her all these names, it never really stopped. All Kirari could really do at that stage was endure through it, and try to concentrate on keeping her grades at a satisfactory level. Kirari had a grand total of one friend in that school; a boy who was going through the same ordeal as she had, and who, ironically enough, also happened to have a "full figure" to him. Unfortunately, that friendship came to a grinding halt as soon she stopped going to school there, as she lost contact with the boy due to both parties' being enrolled in different schools.
Things never got any better for Kirari during her first year of Harmonia. In truth, they started off even worse, with what having to deal with not only more name calling, but also people flicking her food try away from her, chucking food scraps or things they never really intended to eat at her, and coming up with some of the most bullshit excuses for when they were called out on it. There was even one guy, Juzaburo Deguchi, who had the audacity to take food off Kirari's tray as she tried to pass him by, suggesting that she didn't need the calories given by the items of food that he'd taken. This in turn left Kirari with a tray filled only with vegetables, which she angrily threw aside and into someone else's face... only to immediately get a detention for it. However, the detention only served to anger Kirari more than it'd help her reconsider her life choices. While her grades were decent, her attitude towards everyone around her grew more troublesome by the day.
Kirari got several more detentions later in the year, including one that was issued for arriving late to class, which she took far from well given that she was in a foul mood that particular morning already. She knew she was running late, and she was running on fumes too, but she didn't really care. Class was about five to ten minutes in by the time Kirari had gotten anywhere near the door, and the teacher in charge for that specific, a Leopold van Mourik, had just asked a question for the class to answer. He was expecting a Light Dorm student from that class to raise their hand and begin answering the question but, after swiftly kicking the door open, Kirari took over the reigns completely; not only managing to hear the question as she approached the room, but also already knowing the answer right off the bat. Unsurprisingly, this left a highly sour taste in Leopold's mouth, but he continued with his lecture to the class nonetheless... right after issuing an after-school detention to Kirari for deciding to be a smart-ass, as opposed to doing the courteous thing and apologizing for her lateness.
Eventually, Kirari's entire attitude changed when she was complimented on her looks by Wazuka Saiki, the girl who she was always forced to sit next to in all her classes. Kirari was weary of Wazuka right from the get go, due to her showing some extremely perverted hormonal tendencies around her and some of the more attractive girls that passed her by, including some of the women that made up the school staff. Incidentally, just as Leopold's class was wrapped up, Wazuka caught up with Kirari (much to the latter's dismay) and finally confessed her love to her, only to be aggressively shot down. Trying to fight off a broken heart, Wazuka stammered in her attempts to explain and justify her feelings for Kirari, randomly blurted out that Kirari "made being fat look hot". Kirari looked to have taken offense, but was too confused to do anything about it; nonetheless, Wazuka defended her statement, evening mentioning that Kirari's bloated stomach didn't take all that much away from her perfectly shaped, abnormally large assets. True, every word that Wazuka used made her sound more of a creep than the last but, although she couldn't resist scolding her for using the wrong words completely, Kirari ultimately understood what she was saying, even telling her she was the first person to consider her even remotely attractive and thanking her for it. This in turn allowed Kirari to make up for all her irritations with the other students and teachers and bond with them. The only person she wasn't able to get on friendly terms with was Leopold; although that wasn't for a lack of trying. On the way to her after-school detention, Kirari had managed to catch up to Leopold, going over to apologize for her antics that morning and explain that she wasn't in the best of moods, only for Leopold to tell Kirari what he really thought of her as a non-Light-Dorm student, which rubbed her in all sorts wrong ways. Kirari and Leopold would never get along for the rest of the former's stay in Harmonia.
Despite that, Kirari's drive to succeed as both a professional duelist and a possible public speaker was greater than ever before. Her whole aim going forward was to make people feel better about themselves being overweight, and if she had a hand in those people not having to suffer as she did, then all the better. All of Kirari's friends and even some of the teachers had expressed concerns over her excessive weight, but all those concerns were met with reassurances, from Kirari in particular of course, that she'd be fine. She wasn't about to let any health complications get in the way of her dreams, and even if such a thing threatened her life, she wouldn't go down without a fight.

Kirari's favorite meals are Inari Sushi and Tonkatsu, while her least favorite is Teppan Yaki. It's not so much that she minds the steak, but vegetables have always been the one class of foods that Kirari never really cared for; especially not since she was a child. It was only thanks to Sumika's cooking that got Kirari into eating vegetables, if only because she was able to bring out 100% of the flavor.
If there was ever any single person that could so much as make a dent in the Earth Dorm's immense food supply, that person would be Kirari. She's more than capable of stomaching as much food as the other members of the Earth Dorm's Top 5 combined (the amazing thing is that she can do so without throwing any of it back up again!), and her gluttony is second only to her natural stubbornness when it comes to lack of limitations. All that considered, it's a wonder that Kirari has barely breached the 85kg (187lbs) mark.
Even if she knows damn well that she's running late for class, Kirari will not rush to gather everything she can think of, instead preferring to ensure that she actually has everything she needs, and she most certainly will not run. As her distaste for gym classes would suggest, and as should come to no surprise given her overbearing weight, Kirari is far from fit and severely lacking in stamina... and she'd rather just walk and accept the probability that she'll be late, over exhausting what little stamina she has and risking the effort of making up any time to be futile. If adrenaline does in fact get the best of her, however, it can be alarming how fast Kirari can take off, and it can be equally alarming to see her keep up with superior sprinters. She'll fall to her hands and knees by the end of her run, and she won't be able to move a muscle before she can regain her breath. This just serves to show how unfit Kirari truly is.
Out of all the non-Water-Dorm students, Kirari is one of only a few that shows up regularly to one of Harmonia's fishing trips. Of course, some of the other Top 5 may accompany her from time to time (most notably Yakumo and Wazuka), but although they don't seem to mind actually fishing, their main purpose for going with her is so that they can talk to her privately. Funnily enough, Kirari and the gang tend to find fishing therapeutic, and the potential reward of acquiring their own fish is extra icing on the proverbial cake.
As with most everyone else in Harmonia's student body, Kirari is yet another person that really doesn't like Leopold. However, she seems to have the biggest detestation for the Light Dorm leader out of the whole school. This is largely due to a conflict of ideals; having faith in the dorm that one leads is one thing, but seeing everyone else as beneath said dorm as though they're the holy select few is another, and this just rubs Kirari the wrong way entirely. It's this unsettling that fires Kirari up to show Leopold the true meaning of aspiration.
Juzaburo Deguchi and Kirari never got along the first time they met. Between Juzaburo's natural despondence and the vulgar attitude that he had at the time and Kirari just so happening to be irritable at the beginning of that first year, they were bound to clash in the ugliest of manners were their paths to cross one too many times. Kirari wanted as little to do with Juzaburo as she possibly could, but during the first day of the second year, she just so happened to caught eyesight of him when she was walking to school with Long, who immediately challenged him to a duel. Although he scoffed at the prospect of possibly losing, Juzaburo accepted, and the duel began. He was caught off-guard when Long was able to effortlessly remove his Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon from the field without triggering his Deep-Eyes White Dragon's effect, and while he tried his best to recover and reestablish a board, the next few plays that Long made with his Scrap cards allowed him to narrowly scrape by with the victory. Contrary to what Kirari expected from him given the few inkling of interactions they had, Juzaburo accepted his defeat humbly, supposing that Long and Kirari had earned his respect after all. This later came into play when Kirari and Wazuka would try to reach out to Yakumo, with Juzaboru finally managing to snap him out of his state of crippling depression. Juzaburo is the realist of the gang, and while that vulgarity of his has mellowed down dramatically over the years, he remains cold and aloof most of the time. Occasionally he may give a few tips here and there for the second- and first-year students of the Earth Dorm despite his usual despondence, and he's earned the nickname of 'Senpai' for how often those tips had paid off. Having the earliest birthday of the 5, he's often looked up to as the Earth Dorm's trusted source of information, and his win-loss percentage shows just how valuable his knowledge of the game of Duel Monsters really is. Truth be told, the only reason Kirari's ahead at the moment is due to having participated in more duels. Even then, the percentage increase she has over Juzaburo is extremely marginal; so much so that one loss from Kirari could very well swing the Earth Dorm's leaderboard in Juzaburo's favor.
Appearance: Without competition, Juzaburo is easily the tallest person of the Earth Dorm, standing at a fairly impressive 188cm (6' 2") tall. However, he's not just tall; he also has a stocky build, weighing in at 86kg (189lbs). While this is matched by Kirari, much of the extra weight Juzaburo has to his body is contributed to his muscle mass, making it monumentally healthier for him. He wears a baseball cap with his uniform and casual attire, and although he doesn't mind taking it off when he really should, it's not often that he'll choose to. Juzaburo's eyes are cobalt blue, and he has bleach white hair that is as short as can be, accompanied with a mess of stubble all over the jawline. He prefers the grizzly look this gives him most of the time, but he has no qualms shaving it off when he deems that he needs to look presentable.
Struggling with gender identity for a lot of his life, Yakumo Fukutsuchi was the last of the gang to come out of his shell. He alienated himself from all his classmates, preferring to sit at the back of the class so that he could learn in relative peace. Although Kirari, Wazuka and even Juzaburo tried to reach out to him from time to time, Yakumo would only retaliate by withdrawing further and further away from them. This continued for much of his first year in Harmonia, but while he continued to instinctively retreat from the trio, Yakumo did exchange some small talk here and there during the second year... only to put his social awkwardness at full display for Kirari, Wazuka and Juzaburo. Of the three, Wazuka was the most insistent due to Yakumo being a love interest for her at the time. But even then, Yakumo kept a lot of his personal secrets from Wazuka, even when she tried to probe him about them. However, it was from one last direct confrontation from Juzaburo of all people that caused the change of heart from Yakumo. Yakumo is an introverted and naturally timid individual, who only hangs out with Kirari and the others due to having been there with them for a long time. He is focused on his studies, but the depression that he suffers from is a constant uphill battle for him. He had a twin sister named Fukuyo Fukutsuchi, who died when he was 3, which is likely the source of his depression. Thanks to his friends, however, Yakumo has gained the resolve to continue forth with his life.
Appearance: Choosing to wear the girl's school uniform, with his androgynous appearance allowing him to pull the look off without arousing suspicions to the uninformed, Yakumo still identifies as male deep down. He stands at a fairly solid 180cm (5' 11") tall, and weighs in at about 74kg (163lbs). He has blood red eyes and shoulder-length blonde hair that he wears a black hairband over. He also wears a pair of oval shaped under-rim glasses, and places the case for them in one pocket, in the off-chance that he'd need to store them at any point of time. Yakumo only really needs his glasses in order to read fine print without straining his eyes, but he's been told by Kirari and Wakuza that he looks sexy with them on; while he suspects they only told him this to boost his confidence, he still wears them all the time as a result of this.
The youngest of the gang, only being 17 as opposed to everyone else's 18. Wazuka Saiki is an open lesbian... and somewhat of a perverted one at that, which had landed her into trouble with the female student body on more than one occasion. Back before she had any control over her hormones, Wazuka's nose would bleed massively whenever a well-endowed, reasonably attractive woman drew too close to her, and her mind would be filled with nothing but lewd fantasies about the woman in question. This happened to irritate Kirari more than anyone, since she was "beautiful" enough to trigger these nose-bleeds from Wazuka and always just so happened to have to sit next to her in class. Eventually Wazuka mustered all the bravery she had in her and confessed her love to Kirari... only for Kirari to shoot Wazuka down without a moment's hesitation. However, it was Wazuka's statement of Kirari "making being fat look hot" that ultimately caused the latter to reevaluate her sense of beauty in herself, as thoughtless as that may have come across at the time. Even to this day, Wazuka's heavy crush with Kirari is as clear as crystal, and although her hormones still get the best of her when Kirari isn't around and a different well-endowed, reasonably attractive woman draws near, Wazuka struggles to get her out of her head. Wazuka also found Yakumo attractive enough to pursue relations at one point, but although they still remain friends, her epiphany that he was in fact a guy had turned her off from him completely.
Appearance: Due to her stunted growth, Wazuka is often mistaken for a first-year student at first glance... which the lack of curvature to her body doesn't help with in the slightest. She's even significantly shorter than the entire first-year student body, only standing at a meager 140cm (4' 7"), weighing in at an equally measly 41kg (90lbs) and sporting a rather miserable BWH ratio of 18-17-17 if measured in inches and 46-43-43 if measured in centimeters. Unlike most girls, Wazuka doesn't wear a bra with her school uniform, as she doesn't think her breasts are large enough for one to be necessary. Wazuka has violet eyes and short pink hair that she ties into twintails using pink hair bobbles. She's always carrying a sketchbook around with her that she clutches to her chest with both arms when she's not drawing in it or sharing what drawings she'd made. It's mostly filled with illustrations of all things cute, but hidden in some random pages here and there are some very detailed drawings of some of the lewd fantasies that Wazuka may or may not have brought to life...

A foreign exchange student who'd originally hailed from China. In the beginning of the first year, Long Kong had a poor grasp of the Japanese language, and this put a worryingly severe restriction on his ability to learn within Harmonia. However, Long was eventually able to master the language by the end of the year thanks to his bond with Kirari, who just so happened to speak Chinese and serve as his translator. Long's newfound mastery of the Japanese language had yielded decent results in the following year, his most prominent feat of said year being that he managed to catch Juzaburo off-guard during the duel that he challenged him to at the start of it. It was a narrow victory for Long, that proved instrumental in earning Juzaburo's friendship and allowing him and Kirari to finally start bonding. He plays aggressively with his deck of Scrap cards, but even to this day, Long's strategy is continually evolving, as he learns when he should back off and when he should be applying more and more pressure. While he's as competitive as everyone else (if not more so), Long seems to be a nice enough person outside of the game.
Appearance: Unsurprisingly, Long happens to be one of the smaller male students of the academy, sharing Kirari's height of 168cm (5' 6"), and being at a much healthier 61kg (134lbs) in weight. The only other notable feature Long has over other students is his olive green skin, but those aside, he blends into the student populace as well as anyone is ever going to. He has short, navy blue hair and dark grey eyes and, unlike what his deck choice would suggest of his personality, he makes a considerable effort to keep his uniform in pristine condition.

@AdmrlStalfos19Leopold wouldn't be the type to do so, he strongly believes his dorm is better than any other dorm and wouldn't want to see anything else but his dorm succeed it's not about him it's about his students, he is like that because he strongly believes his students are better than anyone else
So basically he's the Crowler of the RP, then. Makes sense.
Still, I'm gonna have to rethink how my char's rivalry with him would've taken off. I doubt just simply hearing the rumors would be enough; i.e., they'd have to be something that she'd have to see for herself...
So... question that might give me a hand with the History field when I come round to it. Say I wanted to go ahead and stick with making the champion for the Earth Dorm (which I still am, btw). Could I have my character have been approached by Mourik and asked to willingly transfer to the Light Dorm, on the condition that (s)he would've turned him down because reasons?
I was just wondering if Mourik would still respect talent from someone of another dorm, albeit begrudgingly ofc, and try to swindle them on his side so the Light Dorm has the better chance of winning the whole thing. From what I've read of him, it could be a possible route he'd take.
"Hello Dimitri. Will you be needing aloe vera as well?" this, along with an accompanied ice-pack that Dimitri questioned the necessity of, came from none other than Auriola herself. Well, he appreciated the sentiment, but...
"None of that will be necessary, thank you," Dimitri side-stepped away from the ice-pack that Auriola held in place as he said this, "This only stung because it got caught on the tip of my fang, but the pain seems to have lifted."
He was about to return to his cake in peace, not having actually had the chance to take a bite and taste it, but then all of a sudden he caught earshot of Amelia "warning" the newcomer, Nora Evans, of his supposed antics. Naturally, Dimitri took slight offense to that bold statement of hers, adding his two cents in as Nora wibbled about not being comfortable hurting someone just for the sake of rejection.
"I agree with Nora. Personally, I'd consider hitting someone just to spite one's feelings of attraction equally as insolent as failing to manage said feelings of attraction," that said, Dimitri looked over to face Amelia directly, "Also, you exaggerate when you use the words "hit on". True, there are times when I've gone a little far... forward, per se, but the both of you should know that I've never mistreated a lady in my entire life."
...
There wouldn't be much of a chance for Amelia to respond before Ixveria called for everyone's attention, specifically to relay the mission briefing for the day. Apparently a mage bearing the Prelati name had teamed with a mysterious figure in an effort to extinguish everything supernatural in the area, and it was up to the peerage to stop them. The mentioning of the name Prelati had struck a bell for Dimitri.
"Prelati?" the vampire queried, looking down and holding a hand to his chin as he pondered, 'Why does that name sound familiar?'
Nora, meanwhile, had asked if there was anyone else who could stop them, understandably weary about going into her first battle just after being rebirthed, whereas Auriola explained to everyone who exactly this Prelati was meant to be. Her description sounded about right, from what Dimitri had heard about him. Still, something didn't seem right, and Dimitri couldn't put his finger on it. There was only one thing for it.
"I have questions concerning Prelati that I feel only he is capable of answering," Dimitri told Ixveria, "Assuming it's at all possible, may I request we make an effort to detain him, as opposed to simply offing him?"
Action Dueling would've been nice, but I guess I can't ask for too much. I'm just glad we get to script the damned things. If duels were to be settled by actually playing the game, my char's loss record would rival that of Weevil Underwood's or Rex Raptor's... knowing my luck <_<
...
Speaking of scripting, what exactly will we be using in that regard? Piratepad? Etherpad? Whichever one of the two we and our dueling partners can agree on?
'Tch, the nerve on that woman...' Dimitri von Aleron sighed in disapproval, left alone to rub his left cheek. This was mostly in a somewhat vain effort to hide the large red imprint of a hand having struck said cheek; were it not for the inside of it being caught on the tip of his enlarged canine fang, the slap itself wouldn't have really hurt in the slightest. Still, it served as source of humiliation for Dimitri. No doubt the other girls in the Art Club would consider Dimitri a bell-end for trying his hand with the student council president of all people... especially considering all the other guys had preemptively decided they weren't good enough for her.
In any case, there was point in him not showing up just because his pride had taken some damage. He entered somewhat casually for someone who'd taken a bitch slap to the face and, seemingly having taken that in his stride, taken the time to observe what was going on inside the Arts Club. The King of peerage Dimitri was in, Ixveria Naberius, was trading candies with an Amelia Averyonna, who suddenly showed a look of disgust in her eyes the moment she caught sight of Dimitri. It was hard to tell what Amelia ever thought of Dimitri since the two never really got along, although this instance he had to assume that, unsurprisingly, she'd be one of the girls that'd considered him a bell-end for his failed attempt with the student council president. Not wanting to dwell on that incident, Dimitri moved on.
The only other happening of interest was that Auriola, the resident robot, had made a cake, seemingly for a tall, blonde-haired woman that happened to be at her side, and cutting it into slices. One with think that the ridiculously large sword that Auriola had used to cut the cake would strike more of an oddity to Dimitri... but in truth, he was more curious about what was written on the cake itself.
"Welcome... Nora... Ah, new arrival," Dimitri noted, recalling there was indeed meant to be someone having a rebirth day today, and turning to the tall woman that he correctly assumed was the newcomer to the peerage, "Greetings, and welcome to our peerage. Dimitri von Aleron, at your patronage."
Now that the slap to the cheek wasn't bothering him as much, he used that hand to bow, completing his formal introduction. He was always good with those; they were the one thing he got right with his first impressions around women. The rest of it was always hit or miss... and in the case of the student council president, it was a very big miss indeed...
