"So you have a translator and everything huh? That's... actually pretty cool. If you'd like, I could copy down notes for you, have Al translate them and hand them to you. Y'know, if you're having trouble with keeping up."
"Thanks for the offer, Rikuo, but I might not even need to take it," Noah said with a smile on his face, "That's the cool thing about this... translator; it can pick up on audio as well. I could even listen in on entire conversations with this thing on if I wanted to, and I could still understand everything because it'll come through in English for me."
Noah seemed proud of himself for a second there. He learnt an entirely new word all on his own. Well... mostly on his own. Credit had to go to Rikuo for saying the word "translator" first, so that Noah would know how to pronounce it correctly in Japanese.
"Shame you didn't get to learn much Japanese though," Rikuo had also noted of Noah, "Was your old school an international school then?"
"Er, yes... that'd be about right," Noah tried his best to maintain his smile, only for it to vanish immediately after he said his piece. He looked down at his desk as Rikuo began conversing with the others, reminiscing all the memories that he'd rather not have allowed to resurface. How awkward and naturally uneasy he was back then. His difficulties talking about the troubles he had. The lack of friends he had. His numerous encounters with those accursed bullies. And most importantly, every single laceration that he'd gotten from his own Quirk. Everything about that last school flooded Noah's mind all at once. But then, just when he needed a distraction...
"Hey, I'm Kian, it seems we are going to be desk neighbors. Nice to meet you!" said another boy who'd then seated himself on Noah's right. That was enough to snap Noah out of his trance, with what being somewhat out of left field.
"Hey. Um... hi, there," Noah said to the boy, figuring that he should say something at least. Except he was already starting to fumble again, like he did when he first approached Alekos.
'Come on now, Noah!' he scolded at himself, 'There's no way a lousy intro would be that hard that you couldn't make one to save your SSSHHHIIIIIIT!!'
Noah jumped off his seat with a start as he heard a loud thud that caught him off-guard, and a multitude of different-colored gemstones formed around him as he searched frantically for the source. These gemstones had mostly materialized around Noah himself, and none of them could be found anywhere else. His eyes were wide open as he desperately scanned his surroundings, and his heart felt as if it had skipped a beat or two as he tried to find the cause of the sudden noise. However, he breathed a sigh of relief as he noted Rikuo helping up a rather short, plump individual, who'd presumably tripped over... something, and collided with a nearby desk. So that was what it was?
...
Nervously, Noah turned to look towards Kian again.
"My name is Noah, and this..." he pointed to one of the gemstones that'd formed around him as he finally introduced himself to Kian, before turning towards Rikuo and the others, "...this is my Quirk."
Instantly recognizable, Nara stands out from a crowd with impeccable ease, due to her short stature, her heterochromatic eyes, her black gloves and the goggles that commonly rest upon her head... among the rest of her attire. She stands at 122cm (4' 0") and weighs in at 23kg (51lbs), significantly below the height and weight one would expect for someone her age. She's also lacking in the curve department, with her BWH Ratio sitting at 16-16-19 if measured in inches and 41-41-48 if measured in centimeters. Nara's left eye is violet in color and her right eye is red. Her belt looks to be way too big on her, and often falls at an angle around hip level, but amazingly, her trousers stay upright despite this. To complete the look, Nara wears a pair of black, steel-toed combat boots on her feet at all times.
On the surface, Nara shows to be a relatively nice person. Her first impressions are good enough in that she has no trouble making acquaintance with any one person; regardless of whatever walk of life they've chosen for themselves. Nara typically tends to reserve her judgment of the other characters she meets, seldom asking any questions and never one too many. She can respect personal boundaries and classified detail, after all. Nara is surprisingly knowledgeable and has an odd sense of maturity to her as well, allowing her to easily hold an adult conversation with another person in spite of her age. As such, she highly disapproves of people treating her like a child.
While she may have a friendly demeanor about her outer personality, Nara's inner personality may show that her moral compass has... a few screws loose, let's say. She's all for causing a little mayhem wherever she goes. She has no qualms selling the weapons and war machines that she creates to two nations that are at war with each other, and then sitting back and watching said war unfold at a safe location. She may even bet a few Gil on which specific soldier will make it through the war alive or which one will get X amount of kills. The only lives that Nara truly values, aside from her own of course, are those of some of the most faithful allies she's ever had. If anyone else had just so happened to be caught ablaze, as an example, she'd be more likely to roast a marshmallow over the fire that consumed them over making any attempt to douse the flames. And while she's not one for asking questions to others, there's always one question that Nara will ask herself before she undertakes any action; what's in it for her? What exactly does she lose from it? And more importantly, what does she gain?
In her defense though, Nara's just doing what she believes she must in order to survive this cruel world. It doesn't matter however many shady characters have to serve as her customers; just so long as she gets the Gil that she needs to support herself, and keeps herself alive long enough to get each paycheck. One may question Nara's level of conscience, or whether she even has one, but sometimes it pays not to think too much into it. Fighting for the greater good is unnecessarily complicated as it is these days...
Nara Kan had a fascination with machines ever since she was little. She would always watch her father Konu Kan, who served the Songdaenese Navy as a Sky Soldier, as he constantly tinkered with all the various machines that he'd been assigned to work on. Although a bit grizzled from serving his country, Konu tried his damnedest to set Nara straight, as she was the only person left in his world due to har mother having died during her birth. Konu was a Sky Soldier, and then his father was a Sky Soldier, and then his father before him was a Sky Soldier. It'd been like that generations on end. However, since she was too young to start training as one and had no passion for anything else, Nara had to take a slightly different approach... and that involved her and Konu moving to Escain, much to the latter's reluctance.
While Nara couldn't train as a Sky Soldier due to age restrictions, she figured she could at least see if she could start of as a Machinist, and get herself into a university at Escain's capital of Zehendorf. She was surprised to see that the typical Machinist would be trained in the usage of firearms, but she had no qualms about it, even picking up on how to forge her own. Konu had returned to Songdae about half-way through Nara's course as homesickness seemed to get the best of him, but Nara continued on until graduation, passing through each test with flying colors. It was shortly after acquiring her scholarship, however, that Nara got mixed into the wrong crowd.
Due to needing the Gil to pay off the student loan that she had (among other expenses), Nara winded up selling weapons and war machines to all sorts of shady characters and organizations, and forging them specifically to be bought in the black market. Had Konu been around in Escain, he'd be there to stop Nara and lead her to a more honorable lifestyle. But although she quickly caught on to where exactly her talents had brought her, Nara didn't seem to mind. After all, all she really needed now was something to pay the bills.
She usually operated strictly in Escain, but Nara got hold of a possible buyer in Raelin, who seemed interested in a sniper rifle that she recently forged and had been meaning to test. Travel arrangements were not her forte, but the opportunity was too good to pass up, so she packed some bags and went on her merry way to meet with this guy. Nara had to sneak her way past all sorts of guards, but she managed to infiltrate her way into Raelin easily enough. Now it's only a matter of time before the meet with Nara's potential buyer.
Combat Information
Level: 25 Class: Machinist
Anti-Mech Ammuninition: Nara's attacks and skills deal 20% more damage against enemy mechanized units. Lightning Rod: Nara does not take damage from lightning-based attacks. Instead, her Mind stat increases by 1 whenever she's struck by a lightning-based attack, until her next attack initiates. In exchange, Nara receives 150% damage from all earth-based attacks.
Eternity Fusil (Main Weapon - Sniper Rifle): A prototype sniper rifle that appears futuristic in design, and is loaded with all sorts of Escainian technology. Nara technically has another one in her backpack that she'd forged with a similar method, but that one is supposed to go to the buyer that she was supposed to meet in Raelin. Ironbark Revolver x2 (Off-Hand Weapon - Handgun): A pair of slightly less fancy handguns that are simply effective at their jobs. Each revolver has 6 shots.
Assassin's Mark (D2): Nara takes a turn to aim down the scope of her sniper rifle. The next attack that she makes with it will ignore defenses, and cannot miss. Requires an equipped sniper rifle.
Whack-A-Mole (SD6): Nara smacks all enemies around her with the butts of her revolvers. This knocks them back out of melee range, and each stricken victim has a 30% chance of staggering. Requires at least one equipped handgun.
Bullet Storm (D8): Nara jumps up high, and fires all of the ammunition in her revolvers. Hits 12 times, spread as evenly as possible to all enemies. Requires two equipped handguns.
Scan (P1): Nara analyzes a single enemy, evaluating HP, MP, stats and elemental affinities (weaknesses, resistances etc.).
Thunder II (M5): Nara drops a powerful bolt of lightning down on an enemy
Quake II (M5): Nara makes the earth erupt with power underneath an enemy's feet
Water II (M5): Nara shoots a large bubble of water straight at an enemy
Hole in One: (LB1 - D10): Nara fires a powerful shot from her sniper rifle that inflicts heavy damage. Has a high critical hit ratio. Requires an equipped sniper rifle.
Forced Shutdown (LB1 - M10): Nara's violet eye glows and what looks to be a power symbol embeds itself into said eye, enabling Nara to hack into and shut down opposing mechanized units just by thinking about it. Reduces a stricken enemy's Speed to 0. Can only target mechanized units.
Meltdown (LB2 - M15): Nara amasses nuclear energy in the palms of her hand, before firing it at a single enemy as an explosive "beam" of sorts. Deals a ridiculously poor amount of direct damage for a magick of its tier (think Tier 1 levels of damage), but anyone that gets struck by this attack has their Defense reduced to 0, greatly magnifying the amount of damage they take from all sources.
Aerial Turtle Battlecruiser: Yamato (LB3 - DMP25): Nara unleashes her ultimate weapon; a gargantuan battlecruiser shaped akin to the feared Songdaenese turtle ships. Serves as an ally to Nara's party, but cannot be controlled. Has the following attacks and abilities:
Bunker: All other party members gain the "Bunker" command. This allows a party member to retreat inside the battlecruiser itself, thus disallowing them to be targeted by enemy attacks at the cost of preventing actions from that party member and also disabling their opportunities and traits. Attacks once again in a row for each party member "bunkered" inside.
Scan All: Analyzes all enemies, evaluating HP, MP, stats and elemental affinities (weaknesses, resistances etc.).
Beam Cannon: Fires a beam of pure energy at a single enemy. Inflicts heavy damage.
Mako Infusion: Changes the element of all future attacks that it makes, including its Beam Cannon attack. It will typically prioritize on selecting the weaknesses of any enemies that had been scanned.
Magidroid Power Extraction: After successfully using Forced Shutdown against a mechanized unit, there is a 10% chance that Nara will absorb all the Speed points that unit lost as permanent stat point increases. If this happens, the absorbed stat points will be distributed as evenly as possible towards Dexterity, Mind, Piety, Speed and Soul.
Emergency FCS Scrambler: If an enemy mechanized unit targets Nara or a party with an attack capable of depleting their remaining HP, there is a 30% (increased) chance that attack will miss.
Nice Mech. I'll Take It!: Shots from Nara's Eternity Fusil have a chance of inflicting a virus into a stricken mechanized unit that messes with their programming, allowing her to use that unit against her enemies for the remainder of the battle (and possibly even longer). Mechanized units must be already in critical state prior to Nara's attacks in order to become vulnerable to this virus. The more damage a mechanized unit had taken from elements it is weak to, the greater the chances of the virus being successful. Critical hits from the Eternity Fusil ensure that the virus is twice as likely to succeed in its task.
Just as he finished introduced himself, Noah noted the somewhat queried reactions of the taller pink-haired boy, who later introduced himself as Zentaro, and the boy with the glasses, who was named Rikuo. It was clear that they picked up on how weird it was for a girl to have a name commonly reserved for boys. Noah's mother Cameron had that same complication, but she at least had the right reproductive organs to assure people that she was in fact a woman. The case was not the same for Noah at all. Thankfully, neither of the two had pressed for Noah's true gender, as he wasn't sure whether to drop the bombshell right then and there or hold off just a little longer. However...
"Your Japanese is... passable. Better then my English, no doubt."
"Hm? OH!! Er, thank you, I(!)... it's still a little rusty, I know," Noah had to admit, although he was still shocked that he received such a compliment from Zentaro, "My parents taught me enough to scrape by light conversation, but... that speech from assembly just flew right over my head. I couldn't make heads or tails off of it."
He looked down at his phone as he completed what he wanted to say, if only so he could confirm that what he was saying in Japanese came out right back to him in English. It was a good thing that the translator was working in perfect order, as there was no other way that Noah could sit through the impending lecture and expect to grasp any of it. Noah had only one earphone in, so he could still listen for when the teacher called everyone's attention. Or in this case, Alekos explaining that he was born and raised in Japan, surprisingly, and that it was through living with a foster-home with a lot of foreigners that he managed to pick up English.
"I was born in Shinjuku, actually," Noah stated, figuring it was about time for his story, "But I guess I hadn't enough exposure to the Japanese culture. My dad's Australian and my mom's American, so... no wonder English was my first language?"
Noah shrugged his shoulders at that last part. He could only hope that would explain his predicament.
"Why, I'd never hurt a lady! That's a cardinal sin all on its own..."
Personal Information
Name: Dimitri von Aleron Age: 163 (appears to be roughly 16 or 17, however) Gender: Male Race: Vampire Ranking: Knight
Pointy ears. Blood-red eyes. Pale skin. Pronounced upper canines. These are four features that Dimitri shares in common with all vampires, whether they be pure-blooded or dhamphir. However, the difference lies in the details. Dimitri currently stands at 191cm (6' 3"); not abnormally tall, but certainly above the threshold of what one would consider average. He also weighs in at 82kg (180lbs), with a relatively stocky, yet well-toned build. He has short, mostly black hair, with accents of red at the front. He wears a white shirt with black cuffs, a red jacket and a small cape, with black trousers and dress shoes to boot. When relaxing at home with the rest of his peerage, it's not uncommon to see Dimitri with a wine glass in hand, whether it be empty, filled with wine or even sometimes blood disguised as wine.
Dimitri's most famous quirk is his high level of charisma, which he'll often put to good use in order to try and charm the ladies. This charisma also serves Dimitri well whenever he's sent to negotiate with someone from another peerage, and he can easily craft his wordplay so that he avoids saying anything incriminating, as well as potentially making a negative sound more like a positive.
Another note about Dimitri is that he's well versed in the art world. With one look at any item of art, he can not only accurately tell you what it's supposed to represent, but he can also tell you whether or not the item has been forged, as well as how much it can be sold or bought for.
According to what Dimitri had been taught by his parents, pure-blooded vampires were meant to always be above most other races... especially humans and dhamphir, who in particular supposedly have no right to be treated with respect. However, while he can see why his parents always had this kind of view, Dimitri doesn't actually share this same philosophy. He's been in Ixveria's peerage for three years now; enough to know damn well that race doesn't matter, and all one can be really judged on is through their character. Furthermore, Dimitri would never mistreat a lady regardless of their racial heritage, as it's simply not in him to do such a thing. True, there are times where he's been a bit far forward to a few of them out of natural perversion, but he's long put such incidents behind him. After all, the sheer beauty that many of the females of Ixveria's peerage have to them is more than enough for them to have Dimitri's respect.
By that same regard, Dimitri takes great pride in his natural handsomeness, and is confident that he could make a woman fall for him if he so wanted despite his age. He's somewhat of a polygynist, though; while he's careful not to get too intimate with someone too old, someone too young or certainly someone within his own bloodline, he personally considers it rude for society to dictate that one gal get all of the love he has to give to herself. As such, Dimitri looks forward to possibly acquiring his own harem one day.
While he appreciates the company during less tense times, the complete opposite is true when it comes down to partaking in missions. In these instances, Dimitri prefers the lone wolf approach. His reasoning? It's simply because he feels as though he has a lot to prove, both to himself and the rest of the peerage, and showcasing what he can do without the aid or interference of another is the best way for him to evaluate whether he has what it takes. That said, Dimitri has no qualms with other patrons being assigned to the same mission as him, and it's good to know that someone would have his back when he'd need it most. However, he highly disapproves of another person butting in when he's adamant that he has the situation under control. Points get docked off for that, but he's a pretty decent team player nonetheless.
Born in the Camilla Faction of vampires, Dimitri von Aleron was the eldest child of a highly prominent noble family, consisting of himself, his two younger sisters and Chastity von Aleron and Kali von Aleron (the latter of which was the youngest child), their two parents Lord von Aleron and Lady von Aleron... and a whole mess of human female slaves that would haplessly dressed in maid outfits. As matriarch of the household, Lady von Aleron would usually be the one to keep them in line, but Lord von Aleron bossed a few of them around as well just to mess with Lady von Aleron. Even Chastity got in on the act as she got older. But Kali and Dimitri continually stayed out of the family's slavery affairs. In Dimitri's case, he lacked the courage to stand up to the others at that time, especially knowing that he had little sway since the women of the Camilla Faction typically ruled the roost over the men of the Camilla Faction. Whereas Kali always got scared whenever drama flared up regarding the slavery affairs, since the sound of violence and tortured screams almost always accompanied such drama.
Noticing the strong bond between the two, Lady von Aleron tasked Dimitri with keeping Kali safe from harm, while she kept the rest of the family in line... particularly Lord von Aleron, who bore sole responsibility for the influx of slaves that they've been getting since he was the one in charge of procuring them. Trying to reassure the easily traumatized Kali that everything was OK or was going to be OK was a tall order for Dimitri, who was at his breaking point when all three siblings had gotten the chance to be home alone in the estate that they lived in. It was approximately a month after Chastity's 147th birthday, and she was "playing" with the female human slave she that Lord von Aleron had gotten her that day, that being her very first one. As per usual, Kali buried herself in Dimitri's arms, and Dimitri in turn tried his damned hardest to console her. But overhearing what exactly Chastity was telling her slave cause Dimitri to finally snap, as he confronted the younger sister and scolded at her for her sadistic actions towards the poor human. Chastity took offense to the idea that Dimitri dare tell her what to do, retorting that Lady von Aleron punished the slaves just as much all the time... which Dimitri had nothing to say about. Having made up his mind, he took Kali with him and left, vowing that if he ever found himself returning to the estate again, it would be too soon.
Dimitri intended to cross over to where the Tepes Faction lived, hoping he'd find solace there instead. Along the way, however, he and Kali found themselves stopping at a human settlement that they found along the way and spotted a patrol of men that were presumably from that settlement armed with torches and pitchforks. Both the vampires needed some more blood to survive, so Dimitri managed to find a lone elderly man rocking back and forth on a chair on his porch and knocked him out swiftly, sapping some blood from the neck for himself, and extracting a little more for Kali to drink later. Unbeknownst to Dimitri though, Kali had been going on a fast from blood since baring witness to what Chastity had done to her slave; and when she caught the sound of a crying baby, she ultimately caved in to her survival instincts, crashing through a window and rushing towards the source. This unfortunately alerted another patrol of men with torches and pitchforks, who united with the patrol that Dimitri and Kali spotted earlier and searching the whole settlement for the disturbance.
Thankfully, Dimitri was able to locate Kali first. He was shocked to see her clinging tightly to what looked to be a corpse of an infant child, with blood strewn all over the area in which he found her, but at least she was safe... for the most part. Kali continued to hold on tightly to the infant corpse and take it with her as she and Dimitri set about their departure from the settlement, still struggling to process what came over her when she heard the scream that she did. But as misfortune would have it, someone had spotted the infant corpse that Kali was carrying around with her and alert what by then must have been an entire mob of torch-and-pitchfork-wielding men. Seeing no other option, Dimitri urged Kali to run away as fast as her feet could carry her, while he tried to hold the mob back all on his own.
It was a valiant effort but, as would come to no surprise, Dimitri was eventually defeated by the mob of humans. He'd been pierced multiple times by the array of pitchforks, caught ablaze by melee strikes from a few of the torches, and left for dead as the men returned to their homes. He was bleeding in too many places at once, and the sun was about to rise from the sky to finish him off. But just before the break of dawn, a lone woman arrived, as though to grant him the salvation he was silent praying for. Her name was Ixveria Naberius, and she seemed to be in need of a Knight that could serve her peerage well. Unlike the rest of Ixveria's peerage, who would've all likely jump at the opportunity to be revived the moment it was presented, Dimitri seemed highly reluctant, having been pondering what being reincarnated as a devil would mean to his vampiric legacy this whole time. However, what made him decide to accept (aside from the fact that he was running out of time, that is) was the hope that he'd one day be reunited with Kali and make up for his failing to protect the poor girl that just wanted to live her life.
Combat Information
Sacred Gear: N/A Magic:
Blood Consumption: Dimitri can absorb the magical powers of other people by drinking their blood. The powers that he gains this way don't usually stick around for long, more often than not being no longer cast-able the moment the battle is over. However, it should be noted that the more blood that Dimitri drinks from someone, the longer he can maintain access to the respective magical powers.
Memory Slayer: A hereditary magic skill learnt and taught by the von Aleron family. With it, Dimitri is able to erase very specific memories from someone just by touching someone's forehead and thinking of the memory he'd rather that someone forget... and viola, that memory is completely forgotten about by the one that was stricken by Memory Slayer. Memory Slayer can only target one memory at a time, and the memories that are forgotten can be relearned in due time, whether by accident or otherwise. This skill can be upgraded to Memory Vacuum, where the user absorbs the memory for themselves and can recall that memory at any time, or Memory Annihilation, which inflicts an amnesia powerful enough to wipe the victim's mental state clean.
Fog Clones: Using his ability to create and manipulate fog, Dimitri can form any number of clones of himself that can still be used to disorientate and confuse his enemies. Dimitri can also use these clones as tools for gathering information about his surroundings. Fog Clones automatically vanish into thin air after 30 minutes of use. They will also disperse the moment that they're struck.
Shadow Blink: Here, Dimitri teleports from one place to another using shadow magic. This is often used to evade attacks that are otherwise difficult to dodge or that can't be outrun by normal means. It also allows Dimitri to maintain mobility, the one thing that Knights are supposed to be known for, even when his legs have been crippled. Shadow Blink has a maximum range of 5 meters, and Dimitri can only teleport to an area that has not been touched by sunlight. Furthermore, he can only cast it a maximum of 5 times in a row, although he can "recharge" this ability by running... and the faster he runs, the sooner it recharges. This ability is at its most practical at night, since the sun won't be there to restrict where Dimitri can teleport to at that time.
Strengths:
Family Influence: With his high charisma and the fame of his family name, Dimitri can receive better deals when buying or selling items to merchants, and also gains access to things that the normal populace are not made aware of or discouraged from asking about. He also has an easier time getting away with less-than-lawful acts than others in his peerage... although even he has limits in this regard.
Enhanced Speed, Stamina and Physical Strength: Exactly as it says on the tin; Dimitri has the physical strength to compete with some of the most musclebound of foes, and he has a running speed of 20mph. His speed in particular is the reason that Dimitri is one of most effective Knights that any King can get their hands on, and the sheer amount of ground he can cover as a result is almost unparalleled. Another note is that many people have tried to deplete Dimitri of his stamina... and that none of their strategies have seen fruition.
Superior Close-Quarters Combat: To make up for his lack of weaponry or Sacred Gear, Dimitri regularly trains himself in the martial arts. His natural talents are enough for him to keep up with black-belts in their respective fields, and he also has a keen eye for pressure points which he can attack in order to cripple an enemy that he may be facing one on one.
Weaknesses:
Typical Vampire Vulnerabilities: As one would expect from a vampire, Dimitri is a hierophobic, and takes particularly heavy damage from holy weapons and magic. He also despises the smell of garlic, and accidentally swallowing even the smallest piece is enough to induce vomiting. He can't enter any building that he had not been invited into either (though his high charisma does alleviate this via increasing the likelihood of receiving such invitations), nor can he walk through running water. Dimitri is especially vulnerable to sunlight touching his skin, as several seconds are all it takes for him to writhe in pain as his skin reddens and blisters.
Blood Dependency: The biggest weaknesses that Dimitri has as a vampire is that he absolutely needs to drink some blood on occasion in order to survive. He's seen first-hand what attempting to fast it completely can do, as his youngest sister Kali was driven insane through trying to stop her survival instincts from kicking in. What makes it more of a problem is that, even through being in Ixveria's peerage for as long as he has, Dimitri still doesn't know who he can trust to allow him to drink the blood that he needs to without question.
Perverted to a Fault: Whenever any female exposes her breasts, shows up bottomless or both, Dimitri enters a trance that draws him to that female in a lustful manner. This is worryingly easy to exploit for enemies who are aware of it and are willing to sacrifice their (teammates') modesty, as they can lure Dimitri out of position from where his peerage can help and potentially into all manners of traps, try as he might to keep his wits about him. Thankfully, nude paintings or illustrations don't have that same effect on Dimitri, nor do women that appear too old, are otherwise unattractive or wear properly-fitted underwear etc. Furthermore, the trance can be cut short by covering up the offending female before Dimitri gets to close to her (whether she does it herself or someone else does it for her). Alternatively, the trance can be made to cause a redirection from Dimitri through another, more voluptuous lady baring the goods.
@1Charak2 is officially my co-GM. Just so everyone else knows.
...
Also, I'm aiming to get the OOC up by the end of the week. Still gotta do just a little more world-building before I can release it, but now that I have someone to help bounce ideas with, that should be wrapped up much sooner :]
"Oh, thank god," Noah rolled his eyes and breathed a sigh of relief as he said this, in English of course, before once again facing the student in color, who'd introduced himself as Alekos prior to his approach, "I'm not surprised that you know English, if I'm honest, but I... didn't want to assume."
It was here that Alekos confirmed that, yes, this was his first year at the academy, just as was the case for everyone else. He nodded in response to this, but it wasn't quite enough to ease his troubled mind. He still needed a little more information on what Alekos' story was, and he still would've preferred to handle it delicately if he was able. Thankfully Noah wasn't forced to use his rusty Japanese, as there was no way he'd be able to ask this of Alekos without being too blunt. But that didn't make things much easier. What did make things easier was that Alekos somehow caught on to what Noah was ultimately trying to say just as he opened his mouth.
"No worries; I'm not some weird guy trying to sneak into high school," Alekos stated, "I'm sixteen, I swear."
"Huh... I was just about to ask," Noah chuckled nervously as he rubbed the back of his neck. However, he was glad that he chanced the direct meeting with Alekos, and was able to gauge his interactions as a result. Furthermore, the pink-haired guy seemed to keep to himself for the moment, so Noah had lost all concern for him being behind him as well.
Now that he felt more comfortable facing the front when he needed to, Noah glanced over his shoulder to see if the teacher was ready to actually start his lecture, noting that he had a fairly complicated formula on the blackboard that he busied himself erasing. It was just as he was about to turn back that Noah noticed Midori seating herself between him and Hisano, seemingly very focused at looking dead ahead. He couldn't tell whether she preferred to wait for the lesson to begin or if she was warded off by the sight of Alekos and the guy next to him. Assuming the latter was the case, Noah wouldn't be able to blame Midori. He was initially just as hesitant, and would've stayed that way if not for the boy with the glasses talking with Alekos first. But since those few seconds ago, he'd learned better than that.
"Looks like we still have some time at least," Noah noted, before facing Alekos once again, "I'm Noah, by the way. Nice to meet you."
@Raddum Seems fine on the surface (minus the fact that you haven't listed the items yet), though I'm curious about the omission of your Z-Move. Did you not want the Ampharos to have one at all, or would you rather have just held off on using it until later in the RP?
If you intended on the latter, then you should probably describe the Z-Move anyway, just so I know you're not purposefully holding back something OP. You can still tag it with "locked" or something though, just so everyone else knows.
...
As for the Ultra Beasts, I have my own plans with them. I'll unveil them when the OOC comes around, but as a word of insight, they won't exactly be revered as "legendary", per se.
