Yashiro Michiko

Michiko nodded at Donny’s instruction and took some of the cookies that would serve as the crust. and rolled up her sleeves and putting on an apron. She looked to Yukari and smiled when she took the cookies out. Thank you Yozukura-kun! She called out to her as she then pulled her hair into a cute bun. After washing her hands she got to work. Like donny she was confident in how she handled the food and as she mixed them together, like she did this a thousand times before. Looking at Donny she saw him put on a headband with ‘success’ written across it. She couldn’t help but laugh, and infectious and bubbly one as she tried to cover her open mouth with the back of her hand, being sure she didn’t touch her palm.

When he would surely look over she managed to pull it down to a giggle. I’m sorry, But I wasn’t expecting that. It’s adorable. She said as she turned back to her dish. She noticed Acion suddenly wince in pain, holding in a yell but after watching for a few moments she realized it wasn’t serious. She continued making her cheesecake. Despite Donnies timing for preparing it, she blew threw the task with ease, and when she was done, she took a damp paper towel and laid it over it while placing it in the fridge. It was a little trick she learned to help make it cool faster.

Once done she cleaned her hands once more going over to Acion as he tested his food. She could easily tell by the look of them that he wasn’t a good cook…. She placed a hand on his shoulder as she looked down at the roasted pickles and then up to him with a sweet smile. I think You killed them…. she said with a giggle.

She then Looked to donny. Anything else I can do to help? She asked in a cheery voice.

Jett glanced at Kasuke as he could see a smile on her lips because of the story. Cheesy he knew...and if it had been at anyother time he probably would have been grinning like a fool for getting a smile out of her. But now wasn’t that time, he just gave a ghost of a smile while he listened to her reasoning for wearing only her running shoes.

”I agree with you there...but the fashion choice was the interesting part.’ He simply said as he glanced to Jojo when Kasuke mouthed something to her. He didn’t know the girl in front of him, she wasn’t in class...but there had been a lot of changes, perhaps she was a transfer? Or Kasuke just knew her from before. From her confrontation with what appeared to be Fumika’s sister, she seemed to have an attitude very similar to Ezra.

Before he could say anything else he looked at Kasuke again when she asked in a very caring voice how his injury was. He blinked a few times, wondering why now she was all caring after trying to be her normal sassy self. Not that he minded by any means. He instinctively reached up to the side of his head, surprisingly good despite what happened….that and the fact he lost his quirk because of it. It was just a dull headache now, that was actually slowly making a comeback after all that yelling. He glanced up at Jojo, he didn’t want to say that he lost his quirk in front of a stranger. Losing a quirk is not normal… he didn’t want it to get around”I still have a bit a of a headache that’s coming back. Other than that, it’s still the same... he said while looking her in the eye. But he shook his head. I should be fine though… I don’t want to hold you girls up from your run. Sorry for that... He said clearing his throat as he started to rub the back of his neck again. Not wanting to ruin someone else night by staying with him cause it was the nice thing to do.

Jett glanced at Kasuke suddenly as she asked about the necklace. He didn’t even realize he was playing with it. He looked down at it, through his shirt. ”Oh…this?” It wasn’t something he really showed anyone. Not to mention Kasuke. He didn’t know how she would react to him holding onto a piece of jewelry from another girl. He hesitated for a moment, realizing it was too late as she already some how managed to notice it. He unbuttoned his top button and pulling his tie down. He reached inside and pulled the necklace out and held it on his hand while it still hung from his neck. The chain itself showed major signs of wear. Revealing the cheap metal underneath the rubbed off silver finish. The Pendant was of a dragon wrapped around a plastic jewel that was oddly almost in the shape of a heart. Clearly it looked like it came from a crane game one would play with as a kid.

Jett smiled only slightly as he heard Haruka’s voice clearly in his head.

"A bunny?! What are you tryin' to get at?! I got you a dragon, so how come I have to be a bunny?!"

He took a breath and said, She won this from a little crane game, she gave it to me cause she didn’t like the color of the gem. Wore it ever since. It’s cheesy I know...but she worked so hard to get it in the first place.

He grew silent, before slipping it below his shirt again. A slight redness on his cheeks at the sound of the cheesy story that reached his own ears. It just seems to give me good luck… which makes sense...I wasn’t wearing it for the morning exercise when I got injured...

Sitting up he reached up and untied his tie, slipping it out from under the color and wrapped it around his hand till it was tight. He wanted to change the subject as he looked down at Kasuke’s feet noticing the running shoes and the fact he was still in uniform. Do you normally run in your school uniform?

Jett looked over to Kenichi and sighed. Yeah he did interrupt, but he couldn't fault him for it. He came at the sound of Fumika yelling. If he wasn't being such a self absorbed prick he would have recognized her in distress over this. The looks she gave him was enough to make him feel like he got sucker punched in the gut. This was definitely not how he wanted this to go.

He looked around at the crowd and kicked himself mentally some more. It was then Haruka apologized once and said she would tell him
Everything later, just not now. He closed his eyes and hung his head. He was such and idiot, it should have never gotten to this point. He looked up and saw Fumika pulling her away towards the dorm. He raised his hand to reach out for her but hesitated. Inside he didn't want her to leave… but his head knew that it would be better to leave them alone at this time and let her have her space. But he wasn't finished and he couldn't have Haruka end it with only her saying sorry.

He suddenly said “Wait!” Before he even realized he said it. Frightening himself with the fact he didn't know what he was going to say for a moment. But he used that time to catch up to them, looking at Haruka with a calm but sad look. So softly only she and Fumika could hear him. “I'm so sorry… for being an insensitive ass.” He half heartedly motioned to everyone around them. “ I didn't think, this is a private matter and I embarrassed you. That was not my intention...I am really sorry… I’ll give you your space now.”

He then looked to Fumika and said, I’m sorry for scaring you as well, I hope you can forgive me. He sighed and said to the three of them Forgive me again, I’ll leave you all alone so you can salvage your visit on a better note without me ruining it anymore. He said with a clearly forced pained smile. Fumika stared back with an unreadable expression on her face, but quickly turned her head and looked away without saying another word. Haruka gave a shaky nod and then followed suit. Of the three, ironically enough, it was only the one to whom he hadn’t said anything - the girl who looked a bit like a smaller, short-haired version of Fumika - who actually replied.

“Right. Apologies,” She said brusquely, giving a curt nod as if asking in turn for his forgiveness for overhearing. “Anyway, if you’ll excuse us…” She trailed off rather pointedly, and then followed after the others, leaving Jett on his own.

He turned and walked away, from the dorms, but not far from where Kasuke was standing. He wanted to scream in frustration, his head now flooding with the things he should have said instead...what he could have done to handle this better. If Haruka ever looked back at him at this moment, she would see him gripping the back of his neck and rubbing hard. A clear sign to those that knew him really well, that he was frustrated at himself.

He turned back as they walked away, and watched as Haruka limped along with Fumika… He really did hope she would talk to him again...he didn’t want their friendship to end on that bad of a note.

Suddenly Kasuke mentioned he needed to understand girls better. This only made him more angry as his eyes narrowed. Glancing over at her for only a moment. He didn’t say anything...he might regret it later. Apparently she needed to understand him better. That was not what he needed to hear at the moment. He just continued to watch them walk away hoping she would take the hint and change the subject...but she didn’t. She then asked him who she was and their history. He looked at her blankly for a moment. As if to convey the question Really? You want to ask that now?’

Looking away again he didn’t say anything for a minute, then quietly he said.

”She is... He hesitated as he thought about this argument, it very well could be was now. But he still hoped that wouldn’t be the case. My best friend. Since we were ten or so. At least I thought so... The pain was clear in his voice as he wondered why she didn’t him to see her like that. She had to know he would always be her friend no matter what. So he didn’t know why she would think he would be that shallow.

He could feel Kasuke staring at him, clearly his answer wasn’t enough.” We had plans to come to this school together and be hero’s together. Sort of a friendly rivalry but not really. She was amazing, gifted, funny if not a bit dorky.” he said with a hint of a smile remembering her antics when they were younger. ”Little rough around the social edges, bossy and a sassy. But I liked her anyway. She even helped me learn to effectively control my quirk... he trailed off as he sat down on a nearby bench. Remembering all the times she called him an idiot for not concentrating enough. Telling him he would never catch up to her if he didn’t try harder.

He reached up and fiddled with something that was under his shirt subconsciously. It sounded like a chain necklace. If Kasuke’s ears were good enough. His fingers rolled the item around through his shirt. It was something he usually did from time to time. He glanced over at the dorms as he heard Mamoru call everyone for dinner. He narrowed his eyes and wondered if Haruka would actually stay for it... if she did he rather not make her more uncomfortable by being there perhaps he would just go to his room or something.

Yashiro Michiko

Michiko smiled brightly at Donny. Hello Donny-kun, it’s a pleasure to meet you. My name is Yashiro Michiko. Feel free to take a couple. She smiled even more when he took three and tried to play it cool by walking away. Takeshi certainly had some interesting fellow students.

She had noticed a few more walk in and head to their rooms, hopefully more would come down at the smell of cookies. Some left as well before even looking in the kitchen. Busy busy. She supposed she would probably be the same once she went into high school.

She turned back to Donny to ask what he was preparing but noticed a teacher come in, she was pretty, but she knew instantly who she was. She used to be Madame Obsidian, a renowned thief who turned her life around after going to prison becoming a secretary/teacher at this school. Takeshi mentioned her little trick in class and how mad he was at himself for being fooled by such a simple trick.

She instantly started talking to Donny and decided to not eavesdrop...despite her training. She was surprised though she never even looked over at Michiko. But she didn’t focus on that when another girl came walking slowly into the room. She noticed immediately something was different about her because of how she walked...like she was searching for things with her feet and hands (Though discreetly) while her eyes blankly stared forward. She must be blind! She was impressed how the girl managed her way to the counter where the cookies were. She must have some sharp senses. She gave a warm smile, despite her not seeing it when she said something smelled scrumptious and if she made them.

It’s nice to meet you Yozakura-kun, my name is Yashiro Michiko. she said sweetly, picking up a cookie she moved to her and took her hand gently, placing a cookie in it. You may have one of course, it is why I made them. It’s a house warming gift for my new dorm mates. “

”How was your first day?” She asked as she noticed Ms. Mako leaving, and hearing someone yell about dinner. oh!..sorry one second Yozakura-kun. she said placing a hand gently on her shoulder, as a finger in the air would not do for a blind person.

Looking to Donny she asked. ”Do you need help Donny-kun? I don't want you to make dinner for everyone by yourself… I know my way around the kitchen pretty well.

While Jett was waiting for his mother he leaned against the wall next to the entrance. Pulling out his phone, he checked his messages again...sure enough Haruka did not answer him still. He slipped his phone back into his pocket and sighed. He was wondering what had happened to her that made her ignore him on a daily basis.

As he tried to ignore the issue while looking around at the crowd of people who came to visit their kids at the end of day, or waiting for their friend to come out and hang. He noticed a girl who looked similar to Fumika, walking next to a tiny girl who was on crutches. His eyes focused on the smaller girl. She dressed awfully familiar to Haruka. She was about the same height as well. But the fact that she was covering her face and seeming to stick to the blonde girl’s shadow. Also that she had a prosthetic leg, it clearly could not be his Haruka. She would have been leading the other girl, head held high in confidence. That and she had not told him that she got into an accident….or was that the reason?

It was at this time Fumika came sprinting and tackled the poor girl squeezing her tightly. She had yelled Haruka’s name and started commenting on how she fought someone strong and fast like her. This peaked his interest for two reasons. The first one being how excited Fumika was at this time she seemed a lot more quiet during the day, and the second being that she somehow described his Haruka as well...that and the fact that girl who joined in the fight and used Haruka’s move. Was this Haruka???

The girl seemed to be glancing around looking for someone and as he went to walk over and say hello and see for himself if it was her, But before he could his mother pulled up in the family car. He sighed and jogged up to the back door as it opened and his mother stepped out.

She quickly pulled out a shoulder bag and placed it onto the ground giving Jett a quick hug. “Sorry I can’t stay, Just got off the phone with Midge, there is a hostage situation that needs to be taken care of.”

Jett nodded, he understood. Growing up with pro hero parents this was normal for him. He was also a little glad, as this gives him a chance to catch up with Fumika. He glanced back only to see Fumika carrying the short girl and running off with the other blonde girl trailing.

Looking back to his mother he smiled. “It’s fine mom. I understand.”

She studied him for a moment, her sharp eyes seeming look right through him. A smirk came on her face as she cupped his cheek in her hand,“I'll come by tomorrow.” she tapped his cheek lightly and quickly got back into the car. “You be good ok?!”

He quickly nodded and watched her leave, before picking up his bag and slinging it over his shoulder and turning around into almost a sprint trying to catch up with Fumi. Good thing he knew which dorm she was in. But he didn’t have to go far as he realized Fumi had a run in with another student. That he hadn’t seen before, as well as Kasuke, It looked like they all were running, looking at their shoes. It was odd to him they were still in uniform and running though, They seemed to run into each other. He noticed the girl with the crutches slowly getting up and realized it was indeed his Haruka. He stopped in his tracks immediately. His eyes were wide at the sight of her, and the fact that she didn’t have both her legs anymore.

Why the hell didn’t she say anything to him!? Was this why she didn’t want to see him before school? Why she started ignoring him? Even more...Why was she visiting Fumika...and...not him? A sharp pain shot through his heart which almost made him lose his own footing. He almost just wanted to walk away, and not confront her.

But, at that very moment, Fumika turned around, her antenna perking up like the ears of a dog that’s heard its master’s footsteps. Tilting her head curiously to the side, she gave a slight wave.

“Oh. Hello, Jett,” She said quietly, evidently oblivious to the altercation going on behind her between the girl who looked suspiciously like her and the taller student… Or to the fact that the moment she said his name, Haruka went pale as a sheet and froze in place. The plastic frame of her false leg rattled in its socket as her knees began to shake, but she didn’t turn around. She didn’t move, or even speak. If it wasn’t for the slight rising and falling of her shoulders, Jett couldn’t have been sure she was even breathing. Her head hung, messy black bangs and braids dangling in the wind, and for all the world, she looked as if she wanted her legs to simply give way, letting her sink into the ground and thus disappear.

Jett only glanced at Fumika with a blank stare, before registering that she waved and said hello. He only raised his arm just enough to give a single wave back from his waist. It felt like lifting his arm any higher than that would be too much effort. He looked back to Haruka and watched her as she didn’t move, it seemed like ages but it was only for a few moments before he then softly said,

”Haruka?” He still had hope that it wasn’t her, that she wasn’t intentionally trying to ignore him...but the fact that she wasn’t turning towards him and seeming to act like if she didn’t move he didn’t see her, only drove it home more. He suddenly felt that wasn’t enough as he took a few steps towards her. ”What...are you doing here?” It was clear she was visiting Fumika for some reason… but he wanted to hear it from her own mouth.

“Don’t!” Even though it sounded disgusted, angry, tired, fed up, and on the verge of breaking, that voice was still unmistakable to his ears. It was the same voice he’d heard laughing with glee, the same one that had always boasted and ordered him about mercilessly, the same one which had helped him, which he couldn’t have ignored even if he’d tried. This was her. This was who he’d been waiting for.

“Don’t come any closer. Don’t look at me. Please, just… Forget you ever saw me like this.” She wasn’t commanding him anymore. Rather, she was pleading with him, and yet…

“Huh?” Fumika blinked in confusion, her gaze darting between her first friend and one of her newest with ever-mounting concern. “Haruka? Jett? What’s…?” She trailed off into silence, too baffled by this sudden confrontation to continue.

Jett was taken back at her tone. That wasn’t her at all… yet it was her voice. He knew it, he could hear it clearly in his mind always. It was unique and memorable….but this, this wasn’t anything like he heard before. He didn’t even acknowledge Fumika, he was too shocked by the fact Haruka didn’t want him to come closer, or even look at her. She ashamed of the fact she had lost her leg? How the hell did that even happen anyway? Why would she even assume that he would think differently of her.

He stood silently for a moment...wondering what to do next. He of course wasn’t going to just let this go. That’s not what friends do. A sudden look of determination came on his face as he let out a breath of air. He straightened his shoulders and quickly moved to her, and before she could react he moved in front of her and wrapped his arms around her shoulders and pulled her into tight embrace. He just held her like that for a moment and then said. “Why would I want to forget my friend?” softly into her ear.

Her crutches clattered to the ground, and he felt two arms pushing against his chest… but it was so weak, he hardly even felt it. It was as if she was still just as much a child as when she’d left, and yet…

“Stop. Stop it. What are you even trying to do? Just let go of me.” Her voice sounded cold, but it was utterly devoid of the resonance he so remembered. It was as if it was taking every last bit of her effort just to articulate words, but at the same time, she never once sobbed, nor did she raise her head, stubbornly refusing to surrender to tears. Even in despair, she was still just as stubborn as ever. “I told you not to come any closer. You never listen. Why do you never listen?!” Word building upon word, her voice rose to an angry crescendo that bored its way into his heart like a knife. Her hands were grabbing the lapels of his uniform jacket now, and she shook him violently, her gold eyes staring eerily up at him through the bangs of her dark hair, put into stark relief against the pale white of her face. “Fine! Are you happy now?! I’ll bet you’re overjoyed! Go on, then, smile! Laugh! Do whatever the hell you want! You finally got…” Despite her valiant attempts to hold it back, a choking sob wracked her voice. “You finally got your stupid answer…!” Her head dropped as she finally gave up on her defense. Jett could feel her shoulders trembling as little by little, her struggling and squirming grew weaker. The way she was simply drooping over, completely limp… It was as if she hadn’t lost just her leg, but rather, like her whole body had been replaced by a mere doll of the Haruka he’d once known.

Someone else was shaking him now. Springing into action, Fumika had begun tugging on his arm. A short distance behind her, the younger girl who looked to be her sister was staring in silent bewilderment at the sudden confrontation. “Jett…! Haruka said to let her go!” Her words were confused, desperate even… and yet oddly resolute. But the way she was looking at him now… It was the closest expression to “terror” he’d ever seen her display. It was the look of someone who could only watch helplessly as the people she cared about were hurt - of someone who wanted to do something, anything, to ease their pain, and yet could not.

Jett was completely confused at her reaction...not so much of why he never listened. He got that a lot from her. But the fact she asked if he was happy, overjoyed, and he should smile and laugh. What at this? Why the hell would he do such a thing? He did not even attempt to cover up the hurt look on his face as she lashed out at him. As he tried to think up of what to even say to this when he felt Fumika tugging on his arm. Though he didn’t move, he didn’t want her to fall. He didn’t know how well she could balance. He did however pull back slightly but Ignored Fumika.

He looked her dead in the eyes. Almost angry now that she had the gall to say those word. ”What the hell are you saying? Why would I be Happy about this? Why would I laugh or smile at seeing…” He motioned with his hand downward to her leg, and at that moment, the last bits of her facade crumbled as if he’d struck her right across the face. ”Haruka, why would I? You think I’m that shallow I wouldn’t want to be your friend after seeing you like this??” His voice was rising now, Over the years he never Really got mad at her, even if they were messing around. He never raised his voice at her like this.

Haruka didn’t answer. She’d frozen up again, and didn’t even seem to be looking at him anymore. The clattering of her false leg echoed like drums in Jett’s ears as not just her knees, but rather, her whole body shook. Fumika wasn’t just tugging now, but was practically clawing at his arms, trying to drag Haruka away from him. She was yelling something, telling him to get away, but it hardly registered in his mind as more than a passing oddity. Why was someone like Fumika screaming at the top of her lungs? Why was she looking at him like a complete stranger - no, like he was somehow an enemy?

“Jett, stop! You’re hurting Haruka! Stop it!” As always, her words were ever childish. It was obvious she didn’t understand at all what was going on. If she just knew, then surely, she’d understand that he was trying to help. So why the hell was she looking at him like that? Why was Haruka looking at him like that? His grip went slack, and in an instant, Fumika grabbed hold of Haruka and tugged her back, clinging to her tightly as she stumbled backward and away from Jett. She was obviously panicking. Her breath was coming in short, quick bursts, and her eyes were darting back and forth as if they’d somehow help her to see and understand the meaning of why her friends were fighting, of why Haruka was crying.

”H-Haruka, are you alright? What’s wrong?” Fumika’s desperate question got no answer. Instead...

”So… you’ll just pretend it’s no different? You’ll act like everything’s fine, like nothing’s changed?” Of all things, the slightest hint of a laugh crept into the distraught girl’s voice, such that it was impossible to tell where her tears ended and this black joke began. ”That’s stupid… It’s all so stupid…!”

” Something has changed obviously, and it's not your leg.! But the one thing that wouldn’t change is that you're my friend and I care about you whether you like it or not.’ He yelled, but pulled himself back before reaching down. And picking up the crutches and placing them in just a way that either Haruka or Fumika could take them from him.

”What are you talking about?” Haruka shot back defensively, rubbing her eyes before snatching her crutches and then shaking off Fumika, who positively wilted and drew back in dismay, but Haruka didn’t seem to notice. ”What do you mean ‘it’s not my leg?’ Are you dense or something?! Of course that’s why… It’s all because I was stupid and got careless! If it weren’t for that, then… Then I’d have been able to keep my promise. But I can’t, alright?!”

Jett was about to say something before pausing. And taking a step back, looking at the others around them as they watched silently. This was not going anywhere he wanted. She was clearly hurt and bitter over her leg. ”Haruka….” His voice soft once again. ”You know what? Forget it.” He looked defeated now, but he didn’t know what else to say. He reached down and picked up his bag that had fallen to the ground and looked at Haruka one last time. ”I’m sorry you got hurt… I wished you told me, but know I don’t care if the promise was broken, if that's the reason you didn’t want to see me or talk to me...thinking I would think less of you, or laugh at your situation. You clearly didn’t know me at all.” He said in a hurt tone.

“Where was I wrong?” Haruka asked at last. ”It’s obvious. Of course you think less of me…! Even just now, you were clinging onto me like you thought that without you there to hold me up, I’d just fall and get hurt. Well I’m not helpless! Even like this, I’m…”

He cut her off as he took a few steps to her. “Of course I was holding onto you. I don’t know how much you adjusted! Cause you didn't’ TELL ME. Of course I’m going to be a little more careful or more protective. I don’t know what was going on! It doesn’t mean That I think less of you! Sue me for actually caring about your wellbe-”
”BOTH OF YOU JUST... SHUT UP!”

Haruka froze. Asuka froze. Because that voice… there was just no way. That couldn’t be…

Fumika?!

As her friends looked at her in disbelief, Fumika stared blankly back. She still looked restless, uneasy, terrified even, and yet…

“Stop being angry at each other. I don’t know what either of you are talking about. I don’t know why you’re sad. I don’t understand it, because I’m stupid.” She frowned, looking away bashfully, but nevertheless mustered up the most of her courage to continue. “But I do know that why you’re angry… it’s my fault. Because… because it’s my fault that Haruka got hurt…! She got hurt saving me, so if you’re going to blame anyone, then blame me!” As she shouted this out, she looked as if she, too, was about to cry. It was obvious, then, that she wasn’t just acting this way because she thought it would resolve everything, but rather, because…

What do you mean ‘it’s not my leg?’ Are you dense or something?! Of course that’s why…

Haruka stared in disbelief, then hung her head in guilt. ”Fumika, that’s not… I never meant…” She protested weakly. “Please, you know I didn’t mean to blame you. What happened was my fault, right? Because I didn’t get there fast enough. I was careless.”

“But if I hadn’t-”

“No buts!” Haruka cut her off adamantly.

“Then… it’s alright?”

“It’s alright. I’m sorry, Fumi. I shouldn’t have brought you into this.” Haruka sighed, taking a deep breath and rubbing her reddened eyes one more time before turning back to face Jett. She no longer seemed quite as angry, just… tired.

“You’re right. I should have let you know sooner that I failed. There’s no point blaming you for anything you’ve just said. Just… go ahead and think of me whatever you will.” Just like that, Harukaze Haruka, who never backed down, completely lost the will to argue any further. But that dispirited look in her eyes, and the blunt way in which she phrased her surrender… Either way, it didn’t feel like a victory to anyone.

Jett half expected to see Kasuke be the one to tell them to shut up. But it clearly wasn’t her voice. It was Fumika. That was the first time, beit the first day he met her, but it was still odd to see her be the one to tell them to shut up. It definitely pulled him back into the moment. He listened as he found out Haruka lost her leg while saving Fumika. He was quiet as she then turned to him and gave up the argument. Though the way she phrased it only made him more angry, he didn’t show it thought.

This wasn’t her at all..the part she was missing was her personality. He should have said it...but he instead said. [color=007236]”No… You didn’t fail...You saved Fumika. If anything you became a hero before I did. Losing a leg because of it doesn’t mean you failed… I’m just mad you didn't tell me. Not because of our promise. Because Friends are there for each other. I can’t be there for you if you don’t tell me. Even though I know you don’t like help we all need it anyways.” He said with a sigh.

Haruka frowned, and opened her mouth as if to argue something… but then flushed an uncharacteristic shade of red and simply looked away. She didn’t affirm or deny anything, but at the very least, she wasn’t running or hiding anymore. It was a long shot, but maybe…

Maybe she’d at least hear him out, and then things would be, if not the same as they once had been, at least better than they were now.

Yashiro, Takeshi

Takeshi felt the heat, though he didn’t show it. His father had made sure was used to intense temperature fluctuations. Partly because of the side effect of his quirk, and partly to condition him for his endurance to different types of quirks. That said, he still started to sweat a little. Nothing could stop that.

He found it odd that the teacher immediately assumed he was up to no good...when the male dorms were on this level. He only raised any eyebrow as he thought the very image of him carrying his and his sisters luggage, along with their swords on his back would be clear for his reasoning on being on the second floor.

Nevertheless the woman recognized him as she should, being the den mother. He simply nodded. “Yes ma’am. I just need to know which room because the principle did not tell me that when he told me only an hour or so ago. He said respectfully, though he did not move as he was carrying this baggage. He hoped he was somewhere in the corner of the floor. He would rather not have his sister have to trek through a gantlet of teenage boys with Raging hormones just to go to the bathroom to take a shower.

He knew Michiko would love her as a den mother. She was constantly cold due to her quirk. Being in this dorm where it would be constantly hot was a good fit for her. But he did not say anything for the moment. As he heard a scream and a loud thud on the floor above them. He wasn’t too worried as he heard playful yelling beforehand. It would seem the ones who are being mischievous are the girl, i’m sure you would want to check on that, so which way is my room?
Takeshi, Michiko, Donny, Ezra, Principle Hisawaka

After finishing his announcement Mr.hisakawa made his way over to Ms.Makos class to talk with Takeshi, “Mr.Yashiro I need to have a word with you, care to talk and walk?” the old mans said with his arms folded behind his back. “Trust me you're not in trouble.” He peered inside the classroom and saw a few class 1-A students.

Ezra hadn’t really been doing much throughout the rest of the lesson. He had suspect ed that something might occur had he tried to get involved in hitting the teacher, especially given the way that she phrased it and he wasn’t trying to do more than he already had, so he sat down and observed. Mako was dodging these clowns with ease, he could tell that she was head and shoulders above them in ability. He was confident that he could have landed a hit, even if she tried to dodge it merely due to the nature of his quirk, but the way that she moved and her sheer athleticism shocked him. It was above even himself. He had to give her a nod for that, he was truly impressed by her own ability. He figured that she’d be good to learn from given how strong she was.

When the bell rang however, he figured that he’d leave. He hadn’t tried to hit her or cause a mess, and no-one had dared to try and throw him out the window or anything of the sort. He would have knocked them straight out, and he was glad that he didn’t have to given that he had to go and clean up the mess in the cafeteria. He ended up speeding down toward the cafeteria, waiting near a table for the principal to come down and give him the key. He supposed that the quicker that he got this done with, the better.

Takeshi ignored the idea of even participating in Makos twisted detention. Not the way she handled it Admittedly he was also angry at himself for not seeing the obvious trap. After finishing cleaning up he noticed the tall guy leaving the room without a word. Abnormally tall, which was strange to see at least two of them in the same class. He did note however he had a certain air about him, He did not grow up in fancy homes like many of these kids did. But he did not have the same air about him Takeshi himself had.

He glanced at the door when he heard his name to see the principal asking for him. He immediately thought of his little sister, a sudden wave of terror came over him internally, but he halted himself, forcing himself to see how the principle was standing and his tone of voice. It wasn’t bad news at all. Nodding he moved towards the teacher without even glancing back at Ms Mako. Once in the hall and they began to walk he asked, “What is this about Sensei?”

Mr.Hisakawa smiled, “just wanting to see how you were doing, how are you liking the students in your class? Interesting enough for ya?” Mr.Hisakawa said as the two heading for the cafeteria. “I was curious to see how your first day had gone in your new life. Mind telling me?” He asked the young man.

He looked at the older man for a moment. He wasn’t used to just….talking. His father was not one to walk and talk… It was all business with that man. He walked in the same manner as Mr.Hisakawa. Hands folded behind his back. [color=bc8dbf]I-I am enjoying as much as I expected Sensei Hisakawa. Despite Mako Senesi trap at the end… I do admit though...most of these students surprisingly in lack of control of themselves.” He admitted. However he was one who had a far different experience growing up. He tended to forget that he was the odd one out.

The man chuckled, “Well yes of course compared to you anyone else would seem lacking control. The energetic ones are apart of class 1-A, they carry a different aura and grit around them. Quick to leap into action. I was thinking of transferring you into their class. I believe they can take some notes from you and you can learn some things from them as we'll. You’re only 16 though you have are much more mature than the others because of what you have been through.i think you can learn a thing or two on having fun and letting loose as a teen after a long day's work. Besides I have already seen you befriending Reina Moro. Did you know she is my niece by the way? Anywho, would you like to be transferred to class 1-A?” The man asked the boy

Takeshi listened carefully as he explained he wanted to transfer him to 1-A. A memory clicked in his head, Wasn’t Reina in that class? He put it to the side for a moment, when he explained how he thought Takeshi could help them out, just because he was more mature? It probably was more of learning control and keeping a calm head in battle… someone with experience in a real fight. But also it was for him to relax more? Why? When he had the time to train and become a better fighter to protect his sister, wouldn’t that be more effective use of his time?

He did mention the fact he noticed him befriending Reina, and adding to the fact that he was her uncle. He straightened up just slightly at hearing this. Reina was related to the

principle? It actually made sense with how powerful her quirk was, but the stark comparison between their personalities made it so one would never think they were related. Was that another reason he wanted him in her class? To befriend her? He decided to ask, as he was one to really say what was on his mind. ”I wouldn’t mind to be transferred to 1-A. If they are more challenging than my fellow 3-A Students. I would prefer that.” He had defeated most of his fellow students in this morning's exercise.

He then glanced up to the principle.” Is that another reason then? For me to continue to befriend your niece? She does seem extremely shy for one to be related to you.”

“No other ulterior motive but to further your character as a hero and a human being. Reina is unique I admit but that is everyone in my family. Though when I was her age I was completely opposite of her. I was blunt and arrogant but only because of my upbringing. We aren't much different, both our fathers only saw us as tools to do their dirty work. I do love Reina dearly though I am an principal first so I won't hold her hand. You can befriend her if you want it's your choice. I'll make your transfer though, you will be on the second floor if you don't mind you and michiko being on the boys floor. “

Takeshi nodded, he just wanted to be sure. Though he did agree that she was unique. He was slightly surprised when he mentioned he was arrogant and blunt. But he guessed it was normal, many people change over the years. He was more interested in his next comment that their parents saw them as tools. It sounded oddly familiar to his own father. It would seem he and Riena had more in common than he thought.

He then mentioned that he would be staying on the second floor with the boys...as it made sense for him, it did not for his 14 year old sister. “Sensei, Is that wise putting a young girl in the same floor as the more ‘energetic’ boys? I’ve seen at least one, who hits on any girl that walks by him. Things might not go well if he tries that with Michiko.

Mr.Hisawaka laughed, “Well it’s the best I could do for your situation since you want to keep an eye on Michiko, just don’t kill anyone or break anything and we should be fine. You both will have to move your belongings over to the 1-A dorm.” The two of them reached the cafeteria and Mr.Hisawaka opened the door, it was a mess just like how it was before at Lunch time. “Its nice to see you again Mr.Jasekade” the old man reached into his pocket and handed the boy the keys to the storage room. “Cleaning supplies and extra tables are in the storage room. You can go ahead and put the broken items in the trash, you’ll see it if you walk through the cafeteria kitchen”. He turned back to Takeshi. “Any other questions or concerns?”

Takeshi shook his head and said, ”No you’ve made it clear. Thank you. I shall go retrieve Michiko and move to 1-A building.” He bowed his head and turned to walk towards the dorm buildings.

As the other students and teachers were going about their day, Donny was seen waiting around the cafeteria. His motives weren’t related to eating though, but rather to assist in cleaning the place up. He desired to try and take the first steps into being more assertive about his actions, and to do so he wanted to correct his cowardice previously. While he can’t say he agreed to how his fellow students reacted to A2’s shenanigans, Donny felt more ashamed that he wanted them to flee rather than stand their ground. As Donny waited around he eventually ran into Ezra, who seemed to be waiting for someone too. ”Ah. Ezra. F-Fancy meeting you here.”

Ezra let out a small sigh before the principal had spoken to him. He hadn’t taken particularly long, but he was slightly annoyed. When he had received his instructures, he was about to follow them before Donny had came and spoken to him. He was surprised, he hadn’t made much of the fat boy and he was surprised that he had even known his name. He’d remembered most of the people in the class out of necessity from hearing the register so he knew when to answer, but he was quite a weird being. He remembered him munching on a pack of chips, and from what he remembered, he was the reason that the building came down from his punch.

“What’s up? Don’t take too long cause I’ve gotta clean this place up and I’m starvin’.” he spoke as he swung the keys on his index finger.

“Y-Yeah! I'm here to h-h-help ya.” Donny stammered. He looked rather nervous and frankly he was scared of Ezra. He was one of those thuggish types that Donny never liked to be around. But he was also a fellow student and, while he certainly was a brute, Donny knew he was just standing up for his class. Hopefully this would give Donny a chance to get to know him better. “I-I-It’s a big place, probably take ya all n-n-n-n-night to do it yourself.”

Ezra looked at Donny surprised. He had no idea why the fuck he was trying to help him, but quite frankly, he was not complaining. He just hoped he wouldn’t get in the way, but he seemed competent enough to clean a room. Perhaps he could just eat everything and save him the trouble. He didn’t see an issue with it, and it’d be a breeze with two people. He was thinking of throwing Jett in here and making him help as well, so the fact he didn’t have to go and do that was excellent.

“Alright then, I ain’t sayin’ no to free help. Let’s go and get the gear then.” he spoke as he made his way to the storage room and got the spare furniture out preemptively in order to replace the tables. He saw no need to clean it up first, that would only cause problems as he got out everything he needed.

“Alright, let’s clean it up now. We got what we need, the principal just told me to throw the broken shit in the trash so if you wanna help me out with that it’d be nice. I don’t need you to move the furniture for me though, you’ll just get in my way.” he spoke as he moved over to the tables and started collecting it in order to throw it out.

“Yeah, o-okay.”] Donny followed Ezra inside and looked around. The place was pretty dirty all things considered and not just Ezra’s mess either. Spilled food from other students, napkins littering the floor, crushed fruit and wrappers all over the place. Ezra was going to go replace the table that was broken, having already brought in the new table. Now he was going to go leave to toss the broken one. “Ah, that’s good.” Donny thought to himself. ”That’ll make this next part easier for me.”

Taking a trash bag out from one of the trash can Donny walked over to where Ezra had kicked the table into the wall. There was food splatter all over the place. ”I’ll take c-c-c-care of this!” Donny shouted as Ezra went to toss the broken table. Donny waited until he was out of sight before he took a deep breath and got out of his meat suit. Without soap and water getting these stains out was going to be tough. But using just his body Donny could lick the walls and floor spotless. Pouncing on the location Donny was quickly able to eat up the stains around the area, and even did a one-over on the new table Ezra brought, eating up dust. Figuring that he could do this relatively quickly Donny also started moving around the rest of the cafeteria and ate anything that was on the floor there, even eating stuff off from underneath the table like old gum and such. Donny made sure to bring the trashback and his meat bag with him just in case Ezra arrived a bit early.

Unfortunately for Donny(and perhaps Ezra), Ezra had arrived again around the time Donny was cleaning the place, and he had no idea what was going on. He was moving a table and quite frankly wasn’t exactly bothered by whatever he was witnessing, given as it was cleaning the place. He had zero complaints about something doing a job, regardless of who it was. Moving around him, he went to clean up another table, picking it up and bringing it over to the trash.

Donny had been busy munching on some leftover spare ribs when he near the table squeak behind him. It was Ezra. Donny dove behind cover and hastily stuffed himself back into his Meat Bag, rising up before his body had fully filled out his body. Parts of his body was saggy and limp and Donny was stuttering massively. ”Ezra! I-I-I-I d-d-didn’t expect you so s-s-s-soon! H-H-H-Hey! S-S-S-So uh, w-what’s up?” Donny managed to form up completely,

Ezra gave a slightly hint of shock when the blob became Donny. He guessed that was his quirk, but he didn’t really care even though he seemed to be very shy about it. He figured he wouldn’t speak on it given as he was so uncomfortable around him already in his other form, he figured he might pop if he brought it up.

“I’m good man, but don’t mind me. Just keep doing whatever the hell you was just doing, I ain’t care about whatever the hell that just was. Pretend I’m not here if it helps ya concentrate.” he spoke as he put down the second table. The cleaning was all but done at this point with only a few more things to fix up

Ezra was taking this oddly well. Donny guessed that maybe people were just more accepting. Donny just quietly ducked behind the table, transformed back into his true self, and cleaned up the place. Assuming that Ezra doesn’t bother him, Donny would be done cleaning the place up in about thirty or so minutes, just eating everything on the floor and underneath the tables. “I guess maybe I was just worrying too much. Yeah. It’s not like when you were a kid. These guys are more mature than then Donny. They shouldn’t freak out as badly around you.” Donny sort of gulped, as much as an amorphous blob could do such a thing. Maybe… He doesn't need to hide anymore.

Ezra and Donny had finished the cleaning, the furniture had been replaced and disposed of, and the rest of the food had also been gotten rid of. Ezra wiped his brow and looked at Donny. He appreciated people who worked hard, regardless of whether they were part of a situation or not and regardless of his appearance and various questionable deeds throughout the day, Ezra couldn’t bring himself to dislike the kid. He had a good ethic, even if it didn’t always show.

“Thanks for the help mate.I owe ya one.” he spoke as he let out a satisfied smile and began walking toward his dorm.

”Y-yeah, d-dude. See ya a-a-around?” Donny said nervously as Ezra left. Donny returned to his normal form, shuffled around the room a bit, and then left the cafeteria. He needed to do some grocery shopping so he was going to head over to the supermarket. His coupons would only be good until nine tonight.

Takeshi quickly made his way to the 3-A Dorm where his sister was staying. Walking in he could smell freshly baked cookies, he smiled as he walked towards the kitchen seeing his sister finishing up cleaning the dishes she used, with a large pile of cookies cooling on racks. Her hair was pulled up into a tight ponytail, with an apron covered in flower and left over dough.

He walked over and reached for a cookie which somehow, she managed to sense and flicked a spoon covered in water at him. “Those are for your classmates Takeshi!” she said in a stern voice.

He pulled back unintentionally as the water sprayed onto his face. Blinking for a few times. Before saying, “Not these classmates… Apparently The principal wants me in A-1 now.”

Michiko looked at him confused,”Why?”

“Apparently, My experience can help them, and they can help me be more ‘relaxed.” He said wiping his face.

“I don't see how that is possible.” Michiko giggled” Are we moving right now then?”

Takeshi nodded, “I'll get our stuff ready.”

About a half hour later they were ready, as their belongings fit into a few suitcases. Which Takeshi carried while Michiko carried the newly baked cookies. They walked into the main hall of 1-A. Takeshi looked around, he actually didn’t catch which room on the second floor they would be taking.
“Now what?” Michiko asked as she looked up to her big brother.

“Well I can go look for the rooms while you set the cookies out. Perhaps find the den mother, she might know where we are staying.” He answered, glancing at her with a slight smile.

Nodding she went towards the kitchen. While he went to the elevator.

Jett Haven

Jett left as the bell rang, He instead of going straight to his room, went to the front gate and waited for his mother to drop off his stuff. She was not there, like she said, and so he waited.
