I think there are far more important things to worry about than people calling their characters "muses".

I'm so sorry for the delay!

Still here, just dying because of assignment and exam prep!

It would seem that today's investigation hadn't come along as well as Krista would've hoped. The cave was a bust, and it looked like the machine in the Neurology room would be of no help, unless there was someone around that could translate the kanji. At least there was an emergency room to help keep everyone injury-free for now, though a nurse that knew what to do in an emergency situation might be useful too...

Krista perked up at Felix's discovery. She made a note to herself to ask Felix about what sort of instruments were in there. It wasn't exactly a music room, but it was a stage, and it sounded promising. She smiled to herself for a moment-

-and a moment it lasted. While she was thankful for Shona's... knowledge of the 'All American Killing Game', Krista would've appreciated being a little more prepared for it. Having robots to open fire to avoid capture? That sounded like a pain. What worried Krista the most was the Happy Hour Shona mentioned. As if being trapped in a hospital wasn't bad enough, now they were going to have to play hide and seek with killer, creepy robots?!

And even worse news on top? Someone was going to be in danger tonight. Krista wanted to throw something at the Monokuma bear in front of her as the bear gleefully gave everyone an incentive for the night. Be a hero? Why would anyone want to leave their room in the first place?! As long as no one left their room, there would be no reason for anyone to be a hero... right?

Krista spent the remainder of the day in her room. She used Daimyon's gift to polish her violin, taking care of the aged instrument. Her fingers ran across the minuscule scratches along the belly, towards the underside of the chinrest where her fingers began following a familiar name engraved into the piece.

'ARNO BAUMAN'

She smiled at the familiarity, letting nostalgia over the better days fill her before standing up abruptly with the violin in hr hand. Resting her chin against the rest, she readied her bow and began playing.

Krista didn't know how long she had been playing for. One moment she was playing a sweet melody, the next she was interrupted by the static on the monitor in her room. Her hand halted, and she opened her eyes to watch the monitor.

It seemed that the Night of Carnage had been going on for a while already, so Krista could safely assume it was past midnight now. Monokuma flicked between the cameras, being so 'gracious' to show everyone where the sisters were. Her eyes widened when she spotted Calvin tied to a chair with Monokuma and Geina nearby. She remembered Monokuma's words from earlier, and she felt panic fill her. If no one came out, Calvin would be the one to die? That... couldn't be right... They were all supposed to work together to get out, she couldn't have one die like this...

Krista put away her violin, hiding the case under her pillow on the bed, fully intending to go outside. It seemed like she was not the only one who thought to go outside to help a fellow patient in need. She didn't have a weapon like Cyrus seemed to be wielding, but Krista thought- no, prayed that the robots would be unable to do anything now that there were more people there to help Calvin...
Ahh, I shall try to get a post up sometime tomorrow...

I hope
OOC activity gets me like

@ThatCharacter @BrokenPromise Great collab, didn't expect to laugh as much as I did aha! Who needs to look for a way out when you can just talk about all the chicks? XD

AT THE MEETING SPOT.
12:10PM
Lucia was a patient woman, she could stand around if she needed to, but this was too long of a wait. She didn't even have a phone to pass the time! She spent two hours between pacing around to avoid a cramped leg, looking longingly at the hotel and wondering whether they would allow her to charge her phone, and thinking about her grandparents and her cat. Maybe Sugar was taking good care of them. Lucia laughed to herself at the sight she imagined for herself: Sugar delivering her grandparents a cup of tea on a tray between two rooms.

Her laughed died down a moment later, and she sighed to herself. "I miss you," she muttered to herself, feeling a wave of homesickness hit her harder than it had before. Maybe she really did need her phone charged soon...

By midday, Lucia wasn't alone on the bench.

She scooted to the edge, hoping to give the newcomer enough space to settle down comfortably. Lucia watched from the corner of her eye as the blonde pulled out a notebook from her purse and began scribbling down something into the small pages. Lucia was curious, but soon averted her eyes to give the blonde some privacy. Well, it didn't last very long until she struck up some conversation.

"Ah!" Girlfriend? Lucia turned to look at the newcomer for the first time since she had arrived. She rubbed the back of her head, unsure how to respond. "It's- um, it's g-going well. Thank y-you." She grew quiet, her gaze moving back to her palms that were clasped in front of her on her lap. Was she supposed to ask the same question in return? What if the lady didn't want to comment on her day? Lucia chewed on her lower lip. Her need to be polite outweighed her anxiety. She opened her mouth and...

Growl.

Lucia's stomach suddenly rumbled. It was loud and absolutely mortifying! Still with her gaze averted, but cheeks in flames, Lucia shot up from her side of the bench. "I-I'm so sorry!" She took a hold of her luggage. She couldn't stay there a minute longer. What if something else embarrassing occurred? "I-I need to go!"

And with that, Lucia bolted.
Posted. Had @Melo's permission to bunny Cyrus into Aladin's palace for that final bit there.

Edit: had to edit my post because I forgot to mention Krista had said her thoughts out loud, when before it looked like Cyrus was psychic.

Remind me to never write up a post when I'm tired

Interacting with @addamas, @Spriggs27 and @Mateotis at first. Then with @Melo at Aladin's Palace.

Krista didn't know whether to laugh at the sight of the mummy balancing the stolen tray of sandwiches on her head. It was strange but amusing. Definitely not something you would see outside if everything was, well, normal. She nodded as Rika used the cassette tape to introduce herself, the second tape providing more information about the mummy to the violinist. Firebug was a strange title, not one Krista had heard before. Though Krista could appreciate that Infinite Arsonist may not be the best nor most accurate title for Rika. "Well, Rika! It's a pleasure to meet you!" And then came the awkward silence.

"...You're welcome?" Krista's head was cocked to the side. Maybe it was the pun. "I don't think I've ever been thanked for a joke, but I'll take it, ha!" Oh! Maybe Krista's pun had amused the Firebug so much that now she's being thanked for showing her the wonderful world of pun jokes. Well, that idea was probably farfetched, but a girl could hope, right?

Next, she turned to address Felix, who seemed to agree with her about the music room. "I'll help you look for one. Though I'm not entirely convinced a hospital would really need an obstacle course, but this whole situation we've found ourselves in is bizarre anyway. Who can fault us for expecting some fun activities?" She hummed, following behind the two guys with a skip to her step thanks to Rika's earlier gratitude.

"Have I ever played a duet before?" Krista paused, and she nodded with a fond smile. "I used to play the violin with my teacher sometimes, though it was more like I was following his lead." Krista thought back for a moment, the fond smile disappearing for a moment. She blinked, and her usual smile returned. "It's been a while since then, though. Do you play an instrument?"

Her pleasant conversation with Felix continued until Daimyon asked the group whether it was a good idea for everyone to go investigating. Krista hummed in thought, considering her options after Daimyon offered a suggestion. "When Ice wakes up, would he really appreciate being surrounded by us? I mean, three strangers in his room while he's sleeping? That doesn't sound so good." She made a face before turning to face Rika with a question on her mind. "Are you planning on joining us with exploring later?" Just maybe they could figure something out...

After fishing out the e-handbook and unlocking Ice's door, the boys were able to set Ice down on his bed. Krista placed three sandwiches β€” yes, three. The boy looked like he barely ate! Krista definitely thought he needed more meat on his bones if he was going to be donating his blood all the time β€” on a desk nearby the bed for Ice. Krista placed the e-handbook beside the sandwiches, so Ice couldn't miss the delicious treats.

The moment everybody was ready to leave, Daimyon pulled Krista's attention away from her goal. She followed behind a moment later after realising what Daimyon was referring to. It was the gift. Or, well, at least she hoped so. For all she knew she was being lured to her death right now andβ€”

β€”Oh. It was the gift.

The panic was forgotten about, and Krista basically leaped at the opportunity to check out the gift. "It's amazing! Thank you! I was worried that my old thing would fall apart if I didn't find a care kit soon!" Krista kept the gift pressed against her chest, and she couldn't stop the grin from basically splitting her face into two.

She remembered her own gift, the braille board game. Maybe it really wasn't such a bad idea to give it away. If receiving her own gift made her this happy, surely the board game would make Aleecia's day happy too! Krista meant no harm, so surely the gift would be better appreciated by someone that would actually understand the rules.

Krista followed Daimyon out of his room, taking one last look at the hallway then at the gift and plate of sandwiches in her possession. She still had too many things to carry, and if she wanted to explore the whole hospital then she definitely needed to put away the violin care kit. "You guys go on without me, I'll join you in a moment!" And without another explanation, she dashed away back to her room all the way on the opposite side of the hallway.

By the time Krista was done with putting away the gift and returned to the resort entrance, she realised she was already far behind. She couldn't find the trio she had set off on a journey with, figuring that they had gone off to explore the resort locations on their own.

She stood right beside the theater, peering around. Ahead was the fountain, the Monostand right behind. From where she was standing, she couldn't see the study or the vault, but the map on the handbook in her hand told her otherwise. She decided to avoid the theater, having already been in there the previous day for the maniacal bear's announcement. So the next logical step was to check out the Aladin's Palace next.

Krista took one step inside, and she never felt more confused in her life. Aladin's Palace was no palace at all, like the name suggested. In fact, it was a cave system. A cave system inside a hospital. A hospital.

Why is there an actual damn cave in a hospital? Surely this wasn't an exit out of this place, right? Or maybe she was just imagining it...

"I was thinking exactly the same thing. As to why there would be an actual damn cave here, your guess is as good as mine."

"Eee!" Krista squealed in surprise at the sudden voice, her attention moving from the rocks and stones around her towards the man in front, only just realising she wasn't alone. Just a little further ahead of her was Cyrus Brandon, the bishiβ€” I mean Infinite Politician. She stared at him in surprise, realising a little too late that she had said her thoughts out loud, prompting Cyrus's response.

"Eee?" She repeated, shaking her head at her over-reaction. "God, I've really hit rock bottom now..."

I'm planning on posting soon, though unsure when. Maybe tonight, or tomorrow after class.
