@TheUnknowable I would need to look at the specifics of the timeline for sure, but assuming it's close enough they would have been in the order for a short time. They would have some understanding of the force, and lightsaber skills in particular for one of them, though with the sudden lack of masters in the force, an extra hand is always useful :v

@TheUnknowable No, that was a colony world that had been destroyed, they still had their homeworld of Alpheridies all the way through to Yuuzhan Vong in the old EU. There is actually a Miraluka mentioned in canon during the Clone Wars, Prosset Dibs.

That being said, my characters won't have any connections with the Old Republic Era other than their species and the Sith Holocron one of them possesses. Maybe their ship, but I'm undecided on what they would be using at the moment.

@AnnaBeth There's some vague mentions on ships and such from the Old Republic Era actually surviving into the Rebellion era, can't really find anything specific at the moment, but I'm fairly certain that there's probably one or two of those old birds sitting around in scrap yards or still laying where they fell on old battlefield worlds. As for other Old Republic stuff, I'm not quite sure what you mean lol. I do prefer that era, but just because some species or whatever featured in that era doesn't mean they didn't exist in the Rebellion era. Miraluka in particular were having a rough time of it from the Empire, likely reason for my pair to have left the homeworld.

Guess I should have thought this through more. I didn't realize how many people hated the new canon, and the worlds of Star Wars are extremely hard to bring together without having too many rules. We can continue, or we can brainstorm ideas for a plot before we start the RP. Honestly, I'm a little disheartened.

A lot of people are butthurt over didney, don't pay them much mind. A lot of the EU needed a purge, and this way we can more selectively canonize things.

As for the plot, personally I prefer at least something to go on, or at the very least a more defined area of operation if the RP is plot-less. Otherwise it feels like people simply drift and keep to themselves, and I don't think encouraging them to do so is a good idea either. Regardless of whether people like the new canon or not.

I'll see about putting together my character sheets while at work tonight.

Anything against Miraluka twins formerly of the Jedi Order? One of them does have a Sith Holocron, so I suppose I should ask if there's any that are completely off the table.

Looks alright to me, though should mention that Blaine was an active werewolf in New Orleans during a time, so there might be some history between the two. Assuming Brooks is a fairly recent hunter to Salem and one who frequents the bars, he may also be familiar with Genevieve(Kind of well known for being lax :v ) and the Indo Pub which caters more to the supernatural.

Other than that, unless Lion comments otherwise I think it's probably good to go.

@Lemons We've still got the discord up and going, though it's been quiet for like, ever now. Reviving it would obviously require a new GM and co-GMs, as well as a new interest check and OOC/IC thread. So basically, would have to literally restart rather than just keep going where we stopped. Also, might even need a new discord since the first one is still run by HopelessSwan who is still MIA lol.

@Syn Without reading the background(holyshit that background section though) I can only really comment on the part about Desmond and the Compel. I think we discussed a bit about that in the GM PM regarding genetic immunity and how we felt it more down to mental willpower, though unsure if that was communicated back to you. Overall it's a pretty hefty CS and I like what I was able to read through. It's nice to see a vampire who's not all refinement and posh, one who skirts the line that separates man from monster. Interested to see him in action personally.

Other than that, I saw a part in there where you mention Ambrosia under the limitations that should probably say Desmond :v
