”You might not know this, but we live in Palm Beach, not Miami. Might want to fact check before you open your mouth, John-boy!”
Always the one to find what people say utterly amusing and the source of his entertainment, this was exactly the case when Johnny had started talking, inquiring about Kavi’s own feelings and opinions about Elijah. His implications about nobody liking him made Kavi laugh and then his comments about the Misfits and those whose company Kavi frequented made him laugh again. Kavi didn’t know if Johnny was saying this stuff to get a rise out of him or if he truly believed what he was saying.
Instead of directly commenting on those comments about Elijah, Kavi turned to see the others around him unleashing their own inner party animals. “You know what I love about parties like these, Johnny?” Kavi’s head turned to face Johnny and Dylan, looking at both of them as they stood there, “you never know what’s going to happen. Like some idiot talking about things, he knows nothing about. Isn’t that right, Danny?” Kavi asked the quiet friend of Johnny’s.

His boy?
Oh no. He was referring to Santiago. Of course, he was. That’s how it always was supposed to be, wasn’t it? She meets a cute boy. Cute boy sticks around and thinks of her as interesting enough to keep talking to her. Stella thought she was lucky - even if just for a moment. But then, like everything else in her life post-getting dumped by Santiago, it all goes to hell. Lucas the boy she was enjoying just being near was a friend of Santiago.
Stella found herself retreating from Lucas, but his last words had the girl smiling at him. He did like me. Or maybe he was just saying that. God, what was she supposed to think? Stella didn’t want to think the worst of anyone. She always tried to see the good in people. And, if Lucas wasn’t turned away by her, who was to say she didn’t have a shot? He wasn’t Santiago and she did like talking to him.
Stella, just stop overthinking. He’s not going to be like Diablo. So just relax and have fun! She had to give herself that reminder because, if she got lost in her own head, Stella wouldn’t get anywhere with anyone.
“Right..” She muttered to herself. Stella kept her eyes on Lucas, taking in his face for a brief moment before she leaned in for a kiss. It took her by surprise that she was the one who made the first move. She instantly pulled away, unable to control how embarrassed that she was the one to make the first move. “Oh my God! I’m so sorry! I-I-I don’t know what came over me..” She bit her lip, uncertain if she just ruined the impression this boy had of her. She wasn’t a slut or anything..

I N T E R A C T I N G W I T H / / Goodbye Misfits and Hello Drama Queen
Sonny’s mother had always told him that his mouth was going to get him into trouble one of these days. If only he had listened to her words of wisdom and kept certain people’s names out of his mouth, yet as he turned around, ignoring the drama queen’s commentary, he saw exactly the consequence of his loose tongue.
Sonny really tried his best to avoid her. When he passed her in the hall, he did his best to avoid eye contact. It wasn’t because he feared her gaze, it was more because if their eyes had locked onto each others, no matter if those between them were innocent bystanders or willing participants in egging their confrontation, blood would be shed. No one at King’s Academy -or hell, in Florida itself - had more loathing hatred, more burning ire for each other than Jackson Torvald Drake Jr, the biker/misfit with a totally non-politically correct tongue and Victoire Athena Bailey, the Class President of the Senior Class and Owner/Founder of the Sonny Drake Hate Club. The only thing they ha din common - well aside from both of them being objectively hot as hell and their reliance of sarcasm and witty comebacks - was their mutual hatred for the other.
And anyone about to bear witness to this war of words can bet that it wasn’t going to go without innocent victims.
As much as Sonny wished he could just walk away from the royal pain in his ass, he wasn’t about to let her win any round with him. “Clearly you're the one stalking me, Viccy. It's not really a suitable look for someone with such a prestigious role in our student government. It's probably grounds for impeachment." Sonny knew that she hated the nickanme

Viccy
. Since it came from his lips, he knew she'd hate it even more, which filled Sonny up with a particularly arrogant pride that could only be possible through how well he knew Vic's hatred for him.
