[x]-Psychological Analysis:
Weber Camden Darley was the last person anyone that knew him growing up would’ve thought could find his calling in the military. A wild spirit, a serial disregard for his betters, and a mind too easily distracted by pleasure and vice did not lend itself well to the rigors of training to pilot one of the most technologically advanced machines of war humanity has ever known.
Yet, in spite of it all, Weber flourished in the midst of the war. Another trait surfaced within the crucible of his transformation into a soldier that no one—not even the members of his family—had yet seen: patriotism. Weber is fiercely loyal to his comrades, the UEE, and perhaps most notably, has an abounding hatred of the Coalition.
His manner is energetic, easy-going, and affable. A smile or smirk are affixed almost perpetually upon his face, and he prefers the company of others more than simply the friendship of his own erratic thoughts. Weber is a man that will do most anything for his friends and comrades, though he is quick to feel betrayal and deceit. Loyalty is a virtue he holds in high regard, and when that love is lost, it is not again easily bestowed.
[x]-Military Record:
Weber joined the UEE Navy at the age of seventeen. His astonished parents gave their consent easily, as their wayward son showed little chance of ever returning to a calm life walking along the straight-and-narrow. At first Weber was selected to join the Ordinance Corps, and completed his basic training with the intention of becoming an Explosive Ordinance Disposal Specialist. This path was diverted however, when he participated in a happenstance MAS Preliminary Acuity Battery, and scored in the 97th percentile of test-takers.
New orders in hand, Weber was shipped to Cerol, and was assigned to the 13th MAS Training Squadron. Weber completed his basic armor training, flight school, and advanced mobile combat tactics schools with the 13th. His first posting as a fully vetted MAS pilot came with the 42nd Light MAS Regiment—a unit based around the smaller Sentry MAS, and equipped for rapid engagement.
During his time with the 42nd, Weber’s combination of intuitive piloting, combined with exceptional marksmanship, set him far above his comrades. In short order Weber’s skill was noticed by the commanding officer of the 42nd, and he was assigned one of the first Bastion MAS’s within the UEE Navy.
After two further deployments with the 42nd, Weber was acquisitioned as a Designated Marksman by the 101st Legion, and was subsequently deployed for the defense of Cerol. Having survived the dramatic loss of the planet, and the remarshaling of the UEE forces in its wake, Weber was reassigned to the 7th MAST.
[x]-Equipment: Weber wears an ancient, analog Breitling chronometer. He also carries a large multi-tool, and a .45 caliber service pistol with two extra magazines.
