After a few small edits, it should be good to be added to your list.
Okay, I'll try to find a new face claim in that case.
Name: Yuichi Miyasato
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: "Hm, I'll take note of that.

Yuichi stands at around 6'0 feet tall. He possesses a big frame and seems fit for an athlete.

Often wears casual clothes such as a hoodies and jeans whenever not in a formal setting. Often has a terrible fashion sense.

Personality: A soft-spoken teenager who remains respectful to those around him. Even when confronting someone rudely, he remains cordial with them. However, this would also apply to harassment, as Yuichi would do nothing against them. However, his patience is limited if a line like violence is crossed. At that point, good luck dealing with him.

Thanks to his reserved nature, Yuichi never talks about himself. He hates it whenever someone asks what he is up to, not because he finds them nosy. It's because of what he should be doing but can't. Yuichi suffers from internal frustration with himself when dealing with his injury. Though he's bad at concealing his emotions, he sometimes appears agitated.

Yuichi has a deep love for baseball. Ever since he got into it when he was younger, he'd always tried to practice it. Unfortunately, due to that accident, he can't play as he used to. Despite this, he still tries pitching with his non-dominant arm, leaving him bitter taste in his mouth as he can't produce the same results.
As a result, he often comes off as standoffish with his agitation and big frame though this is very much unintentional.

Skills:
Throwing Expertise - Yuichi has become incredibly adept at throwing small objects with great accuracy and speed after spending several years in baseball.
Sprinting - Yuichi can run for a long time thanks to his daily exercise and former experience as a baseball player.
Reflexive - Has quick reaction time thanks to playing baseball. He can react quickly whenever he's anticipating what will happen next.

Equipment:
Baseballs, any object that can be thrown.
Bandages

Echo:
Name: Achilles

Appearance:

Abilities: Achilles fights with his spear and often tanks attacks head-on. Will throw the spear as if it were a javelin to pierce enemies. It's main style is stick onto its target as long as it can and drag its focus onto itself. Achilles also has the ability to buff Yuichi or his allies physical's stats, though he can only target one person at a time.

Brief Backstory: Being a child of mix-parentage, Yuichi was often singled out for looking different than anyone else. While frustrating, he put up with it most of the time. Because of this, Yuichi found himself lonely. Wanting his son to break out of his shell, his father decided to sign him up for a sport. This would change Yuichi's life.

After being assigned to a team, Yuichi practiced a long with his new acquaintances. Despite their first impressions, they learned and talked to Yuichi more. A sense of camaraderie was established as expected of a group of peers. And Yuichi soon became friends with them. His school won at the end of middle school, thanks to him striking out the batter. There was a celebration for winning the tournament.

That was until a car accident occurred. A car had crushed to the side of the vehicle Yuichi was in, and he was inadvertently hospitalized. He recovered, but his dominant arm, his right arm, wouldn't be the same again. Because of that, he quit baseball and cut connection with most of friends. Perhaps it was a sense of shame of not being able to play as good as he use to be.

Nowadays, Yuichi is trying his best to study in high school and make it into college. Though he still has dreams of being a pitcher in the leagues.

I might be interested, though sorry for not posting in the interest checks.

Cervantes Quixote

"Hmmm? Oh, hello!" Snapping out of his thoughts, Cervantes turned to address the new voice that spoke up. Finding a small, petite girl in front of him, Cervantes felt he recognized her from somewhere. "How can I help you?" Putting on his smile, not too forced and not too insincere.

Upon listening to the girl, Cervantes discovered that she was the maid of House von Afah. Now he knew why she looked so familiar. When Cervantes played the game, he often pursued Reginald. It wasn't because he liked his character; it was more like Reginald was an excellent character. Often ranking on S- Tier, Reginald proved helpful in battle scenarios. However, he was S- because of the chance of him turning on the heroine.

Why was that? While Reginald wasn't the type to betray his friends, Anne was a wild card. She could choose to ally with or betray anyone. And it was unfortunate that sacrificing Reginald was a key speedrunning strat. Thanks to his high physical bases, if one were to add a few stat boosters, he would be able to solo most bosses. Unfortunately, doing this would earn his ire and make him turn on the heroine.

Though enough of that, why was that to the maid relevant to him? That was because every time he restarted the game and went to get Reginald, there was a mandatory cutscene where he would have to watch Reginald and the heroine meet each other. That maid was always there with Reginald. If Cervantes remembered correctly, the maid only spoke a line or two before disappearing. That was the only reason why Cervantes recognized the maid's face.

"Quality cooking ingredients? Let's see." Turning his head, he pointed out a direction. "If you head over there, you'll see many shops selling cooking ingredients. Though if you're looking for top quality, Sasha's sells good vegetables and fruits, there's a man named Markos that's good at cutting up and selling quality meat, and Kelloc's sells general items such as flour, oils, and seasonings." When Mella thought he was finished, Cervantes opened his mouth for round two. "If you want to buy fish, you should go ask Markos. I heard he was friends with a fisherman. I also heard that there was a greenhouse on the school grounds. You can try buying from there or even grow your vegetables."

"If you have trouble finding what you need, you should head into town. Sometimes I'll sell my wares there, and you can talk to me if you need help searching for a shop." With that, Cervantes finally seemed to stop. "Is there anything else you need miss?"

Cervantes Quixote

Today was the entrance ceremony. The time and day the heroine would finally arrive at the school and begin her journey. An epic tale that entranced many who played Cross Heart Academy. Too bad, before he died, Cervantes wasn't too invested in the story. After his first few playthroughs, Cervantes ended up skipping the cutscenes unless they were mandatory.

Though, unlike the heroine, Cervantes couldn't attend the speech. It was because he was here as a merchant rather than the majority of people who were students. Apparently, before transmigrating into this body, Cervantes decided to set up shop after getting permission from the school.

"Hey, Cervantes!" The merchant's eyes darted towards the voices that called him from a stall. To be precise, it was one of the shop NPCs, 'Joe Smith. Cervantes smiled and waved back at the man before continuing his walk. Despite spending some time inside this 'game,' it felt weird. Everything was life-like in comparison to playing it on a screen. The many background character had a life that a console couldn't replicate.

Waving at another shopkeeper, Cervantes stopped nearby a fountain. The pristine and clear water reflected an unfamiliar face. Taking a bronze coin out of the pouch, Cervantes tossed it into the fountain. "Please give me good fortune," Cervantes muttered to himself. He needed it. When he first woke up as the nameless shopkeeper, Cervantes couldn't tell if this was a weird dream. He still needed to get over the fact that he was inside the game.

Now that the game was his reality, was he supposed to treat it as a game or as his new reality? Such a conundrum greatly confused Cervantes.

"Though, that'll have to wait," Cervantes muttered. Depending on how things went in the future, he'd react accordingly. The first on his agenda was to deal with his first task—the Heroine. After the entrance ceremony speech, the heroine, Anne Marielle, would explore the school. It didn't matter in what order she visited, but she would show up at the shopping area of the school.

From there, the shopkeeper, Cervantes, would lead the heroine around and show the shops. There was a 100% chance of the meeting happening in the game because it was a tutorial, but if this were slightly realistic, there wouldn't be a need to meet each other. The heroine could explore by herself without his help.

"Though what if I do meet the heroine?" If that were the case, then the odds of this being a simulated game would increase by a margin. Not to mention what if the heroine was controlled by a player? Would the heroine speak as some sort of vessel for the player? So many questions, but answers. Regardless, Cervantes resolved to talk to the heroine if the case arose.

His life was at stake, after all.

  • Name: Cervantes Quixote
  • Age: 23
  • Appearance:
  • Gender: Male
  • Personality: If one must be a merchant, one must be observant of their surroundings. To retain customers, you must have your best smile on at all times, even when they're rather vile creatures that spit poison. Finally, if one has resolved to become a merchant, one must focus on one thing. Money. Money rules the world and your life, so always focus on the profits. Cervantes embodies all these traits, from being observant, amicable, and greedy. However, those views stem from the need for stability and safety.
Outside of business, Cervantes is genuine and amicable while being a bit foul-mouthed. A free spirit who tries to enjoy life to its fullest. Cervantes enjoys social interaction and thinking of odd things. He's the type of person who would banter and have your back in your time of need. Though, in the end, he's also human. If a problem impacted his life, Cervantes would try to solve it in the quickest way possible.
  • Abilities/Skills: Cervantes possesses a lack of magical aptitude or any physical talent. He makes up with his luck and collection. It may have been the game's settings, but when it comes to finding rare items, Cervantes possesses a high rate of finding them. A mixture of both knowledge and intuition, if there's an item that is needed, Cervantes could see it.
His other talents are also business-related. From his knowledge of the economy to what stores you should go to if you need a specific service.
Though the main thing Cervantes is known for is his intuition. As a tutorial NPC that only sticks around for the first half of the game, Cervantes serves as an indicator of which route the Heroine is heading. Cervantes has a sense in his mind that tells him how the story will turn out, a feeling, to be exact. It could be the future sight or a premonition from god; it is uncertain where this power lies, except that Cervantes has a feeling about how things will turn out. However, the Heroine is required to be nearby for him to activate it.
  • History: Before Cervantes was Cervantes, Cervantes previous life was a worker at his family's restaurant. It wasn't much hard work between switching from serving customers to cooking the meals. It was quite dull and tedious work, a fact that Cervantes became well acquainted with every day. That's why he often loafed around by reading fantasy books or playing games.
When he came across 'Cross Heart Academy,' it was undoubtedly an exciting game. It was certainly an innovative, unique product compared to other visual novel games. If anything, he found it strange that they could fit so much content into the game, to begin with.
What did Cervantes's previous self do when he got the game? The answer might be odd but reasonable. Cervantes tried to speedrun the game in his free time. It was a very open game with various factors that determined future outcomes, meaning every playthrough had its unique experience.
Sadly, he would die early after going out drinking with friends. The events are still blurry to him as he is intoxicated.
When he came to be, he was the tutorial NPC shopkeeper. A fact that he knew well after spending quite a bit of time trying to grind out the NPC's prices and visiting him to check what route the Heroine was on. It was just him alone, in a shop, with nothing except his name that he found in the NPC's journal. Cervantes Quixote.
  • Original Role and Background: To the majority of the players of Cross Heart Academy, the only name that Cervantes went by was 'nameless shopkeeper.' A tutorial NPC that also served as a shopkeeper gave the Heroine a rundown of the market. A charming character for sure, mainly when the shopkeeper sold valuable items or quest items that were hard to obtain. He also served as an indicator of what the route the Heroine was on, saying, "Hmmm, I have a feeling a war might be brewing soon. You should prepare yourself in the coming days," or, "I heard the Crown Prince was infatuated with someone as of late. You wouldn't know who that would be, would you?" Though when the second half of the game was reached, the shopkeeper would disappear. Nobody knows why, but several theories have come up. Perhaps an unfixable bug deleted the shopkeeper; maybe the creators forgot to add him in the second half of the game, or maybe the villainess was killed offscreen after finding out he was helping the Heroine. Nobody knows, and neither does Cervantes.
  • Other:

As I'm writing, I'm unsure about my character concept. I planned on making a tutorial NPC that only stuck around for the first half of the game. He serves as a rare material gatherer that would give the heroine valuable items in exchanging for ludicrious amounts of money. Though his second function is to provide the heroine an indicator on which route she his heading both in romance and in game genre.
Yes.
