Thank ye and goodbye for now.
Feel free to poke me about any other fun RPs in the future guys. ^^

Goibniu would have to take mental note that skeletons in the game were weak to bludgeoning. Something that his main weapon couldn't provide, but his automaton could through basic bashing attacks. It was a note from Elian to pushed along in his head for later, should they be encountered again.
Hearing that the monsters reacted differently to different 'types' of physical attack would be something to peruse later. Not many games had that feature per say. Undead being weak to healing spells or 'divine' affiliated spells tended to the most common weaknesses he could imagine.

The flicker transparent addition of lights or rather figures moving through the room did give Goibniu pause. As he was, a little uncertain as to what was going on perhaps both in & out of character. As neither the player nor the character would know about all the skills or abilities involved in the world. If the translucent spirits weren't angelic, it may have been more cause for alarm.
Plus the defense buff that came along with those spirits being summoned, seemed to clue they were beneficial rather than an additional threat.
Still, a tad, unnerving in its own way.
But another layer of divine or perhaps holy magic, he'd assume.
Unless it was the Death Knight rather than Claudia who cast it. He didn't particularly get a good look, and hadn't placed the game logs up.

Hearing Rath's voice in the background, and a red glow spreading out nearby.
It felt safe to assume that Rath was using some ability of their own to do with the skeletons.
Otherwise, that red glow could be a red attack circle. Which... would've been dangerous. But it was doubtful that Goibniu could even move out of the way in time as he was lying down. Not the best position to gamble on a half-baked, not fully aware dodge.

Rath: "Alright, enough waiting around, let's get em."

"Smash 'em to bits, just don't knock yourself out from the warm up."
Goibniu would add, fully expecting that Rath would be able to take a few skeletons on their own, if not take them all down on their own.
Especially depending what skills they had particularly.Seemed like fun, if not rough encouragement at the time.

Goibniu was now protected behind his automaton, and behind the Death Knight.
On top of everything being executed swimmingly and a smaller band of enemies. He wasn't too particularly worried.

He did pretend not to hear the ranger's comment.
Annoyed as he may be, the player... nor Goibniu would be petty enough to test the modified trap on the ranger.
Though it was a funny image, it was not needed, yet anyhow.
But his Avatar would definitely have an 'angered' emote as he looked to the trap and the ranger once more.

Ranger: "I need some healing." The ranger said while grunting in pain. Holding his wounded shoulder.

Although the anger would subside at the notion of the ranger's need for healing.
Having a bit of mixed feelings on the matter. In character Goibniu would probably be mixed too, while not necessarily happy the ranger was hurt, there was a sort of smugness that the ranger get a karmic punishment in a way.
The player would be worried of whether or not the typical VR sets inflict actual significant pain as that grunt over the mike sounded real enough to him.

"Why thank you Elian, Claudia, Rath, and Sir Knight. It seems you all are performing quite splendidly in your roles, I must say I'm impressed."
Goibniu would compliment most of the group, excluding the ranger.
That would be petty and rough enough, just ever so slightly.
He hoped that fit well enough.

"I'll just be a moment behind you. Do you ever wonder why they set traps in certain places like here?"
"Or what was the cause of the... undeath? Or perhaps that the trap was the cause of the undeath but leads to whom or how it was set up."

Goibniu added. Before he would search around the beds, and shelvings for items.
His automaton would search along the walls, gently tapping along just in case.

If there was nothing to be found.
He'd probably have to turn the second trap into scrap as well, but for now it was modified to go off with a press on top of it.
Shooting backwards or rather 'southwards' with whatever harmful tool was placed in it first. Modified in the hopes of testing it against the skeletons but combat was cleared excellently. It was unlikely to go off unless someone pushed down on it, or stepped on such, even after having been warned of it.

As for items... Goibniu figured there'd be journals, perhaps more scrap.
but definitely loot on the skeleton bodies or rather what was left from them.
Broken spears might be viable for scrap metal. Still, he'd give distance for the rest of the party to search their kills first.

I have ADD/ADHD, so sometimes it's hard for me to read multiple posts at a time. But I will try to ensure this mistake doesn't happen again.

You're good bro~,
Just let me know if there's anything I can do to make things easier to read or follow.
I want to make things as fun and easy on ya as I can.
Don't want to overwhelm ya, and want to assist as much as possible.
@AwesomeZero5

I am sorry i missed that. I will edit my post to correct my mistake.

You're all good.
Probably a lot of walls of text you have to go through.

Been putting buffs and additional effects toward the bottom after a 'header' bar when my post swings around in hope it's helping ^^;;
At the moment debating putting spells/abilities he's cast down there (typically been putting them 'em bold).
Do you think this would help?

Sidenote, you can completely continue to call Goibniu a noob,
or pull up the points that he is under leveled, and will choose to go after devices over his own well being per say.
So that can definitely push some tension in party dialogue. Especially if monsters appear from all sides, but there's a great mechanical device ahead, or one that's a dangerous enemy/trap that can't be deactivated without breaking or lowering it's HP first.

There may also be loot that's over-leveled for him as a detriment for future things (though he may scrap it).

@Eviledd1984 I have to poke ye a bit,
Rath's using an aggro drawing skill for kiting/grabbing the skeletons' attention at the moment.
And Goibniu is behind/shield by a summon.
The Protection from Evil, will likely ward off the undead from drawing aggro toward Goibniu at this time ^^;
(Still not sure what the Death Knight's Buff at the beginning was)

Warn me if this comes off as rude, just aiming to give a heads up reminder in case such was overlooked.
Apologies if so..

British boxing founded 1681-ish, popularized 1743. Waaaaay on track for it~. ^^
Let's go Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaath!
Rath time to shine.
Will try to slap together a rough draft/outline tomorrow.
Though not sure if it's before or after the civil war. Kinda have them... around that period since semi-based the gist of their backstory happens after the Texas revolution.

Then again, the rp could be an "alternate world" with just a western like setting.

Goibniu would make sure to stick strictly within Elian's 60ft healing range. The dungeon was still a Rank C Dungeon or so. While it seemed safer than earlier options, there was no reason to run about yet. Monsters or traps here would likely take a decent chunk of the squishy artificer. Not that he particularly looked to be harmed by either.

Claudia: "Certainly. Far be it for me to deprive you of the chance to further your studies and perfect your art."

"Thank you. A lot of the studies of the natural philosophies are often based or expanded on by things we already have discovered, but haven't understood. There many ancient tools and techniques that have been lost to the ages of well. Some from lack of creativity in their applications... others, unfortunately, from ruin."
Goibniu's face would emote into a rather angered snarl at the thought. "But during this Age of Enlightenment, there should be plenty to discover & return to that knowledge to the current age. Did you know there are apparently methods to catch lightning, literally into a bottle? Some of which we're re-learning"
He may been played a bit more 'excited' here rather than 'gruff', but it seemed a fair mix. Especially given the artificier's interests.

In comparison Jaiden as a player was quite immersed. Especially playing during the current time period inside of a fantasy setting. The game was based off the end of the 18th century or so, and it was downright fascinating that engines were being reinvented, again. In fact, he was rather shocked that the idea of the steam engine had been founded extremely long ago.
He couldn't really think of a lot fantasy games that had excluding the element of technology. As a lot had some form of ancient tech, or advanced civilizations, that had created fantastic machinery, or magic-tech.

"Looks like we're agreed then, let's clear the place out steadily. Who knows what interesting things can be found or gained from it?."
Goibniu was glad everyone was on board with carefully exploring the place. He hardly saw himself as the leader of this group, but was glad that splitting up front it was turned for now. It made things feel, safer.

Rathello:"Knock, knock." Rathello chuckled as his foot kicked the door down, his bulky form quickly stepping through the doorway so the rest of the party could filter in behind and around him.

It would be a moment, but Goibniu would stare at Rathello as they kicked the door down. In truth, this was more Jaiden observing the physics engine in action, how accurate it is, whether or not Rathello's avatars foot had fully reached the door when it opened, the hit box for such, etc. Just seeing how interactive this Virtual Reality MMO was, and how to 'scale' it was among other things.

Ranger: “Well, once I disable them, you are more than welcome to study them.”

"That would be appreciated."
Goibniu had some skill when it came to tinkering with traps, however he did not have a ranger's perception on spotting per say. Which if he wasn't careful he could trigger and be a harmed by a trap just as easily as anyone else. Still, he may approach them for studies, scraps... or just generally messing with them.

Once the ranger had pointed at the traps. Goibniu would move a bit closer to them, eager to inspect them! He didn't get close enough as to be in the Ranger's way, or to trigger them but still seemed rather pressed to check them out.

Ranger:“You can look at them if you like; just be careful."

Once the ranger gave the go ahead, Goibniu would be immediately upon the traps!
Practically lying down to inspect over the matters, as tinkering tools such as calipers & a classic screwdriver were in his hands.
Goibniu himself would see various pieces of the trap highlighted and defined on his HUD, along with what he could do with them, or to collect them as scrap.
Due to his Gear Head skill (Tinkering).

Death Knight: “I got a bad feeling about this. Be on your guard.”

Goibniu, as a character would be far too fascinated by the traps to take actions against the monsters immediately. It was a character flaw, that was supposed to be played up after all.
Besides, Rathello was supposed to draw aggro and Goibniu attacking first would making things difficult for everybody. He could use his pet automaton, but it was best to hold off a breath and join in after the enemy aggro was attracted.

"Defend me."
He commanded, and the automaton would obey.
It would move to cover Goibniu's back, and would only retaliate against aggressive enemies that either tried to attack Goibniu or itself. Essentially a small damage sponge if needed.

In the mean time, Goibniu would hasten his studies of the traps.
Basically turning one entirely into scrap for later use, whilst he studied and would slightly modify the other. His goal to turn the other one into a simple 'press trigger' trap as a set up. So that it could hit or harm a a creature behind him, instead himself. Of course this would take some time, and the trap would need to be 'reactivated' once done.
