Current First post after nearly a month of inactivity. Here's hoping I can get back into a good post routine before long.

Managed to burn both my thumbs and index fingers pulling a tray of cookies out of the oven. I trusted you, oven mitts, and you betrayed me.

Thanks to having to move earlier this year, I finally get to experience snow for the first time since my early childhood. It's absolutely wonderful :)

RP’s that amass a good player base and have a good start only to suddenly die are why I have trust issues.

Well that's just an idea. Maybe Sliske gets captured and he reveals the info, or Victoire gets cocky and says something like "I'd love to take you back to my place, but I'm already entertaining two guests. You may know one.", or maybe they all decide fighting over the ruins is dumb and sit down and discuss the captives over tea and crumpets.

@KoL

I mean that's the worst best part of an RP; nothing is set in stone and so much can change over the course of the next battle.

@The 42nd Gecko

Could always just say Gwynn and crew respawned but are out commanding different parts of the Nexus.

We'd have to edit a few of our posts since we pretty much said she's gonezo.

I might have an idea for the castle assault. Say we go ahead with the battle at the ruins. One side wins the others go as usual whateves, but maybe during it Miyu encounters Victoire and learns through dialog or something that she has Diana and Bastion captive. Miyu reveals this to the angels of course, but also the machina as they're probably eager to recover what they lost. They form a temporary alliance and storm the castle thus giving us a third battle and a chance to rescue the two.

@TheWizardLizard

In my experience I've had so many controllers suddenly start acting up that I wouldn't doubt Max has had to send a few in for repairs so yeah it's cool :)

Omega

Omega could feel the light coming from the staircase that had descended from above. Typical, angels always had to make a big showy entrance, especially their leaders. While he had yet to meet him in person, Omega had heard stories of this one. Torag, though he didn’t have much previous experience as a leader, he was said to be an unstoppable force on his own, something this group would need if they hoped to take the ruins.

Despite not actually holding any high rankings, Omega had been acting as a sort of ringleader to the initial scouting party, which is why it came to him as little surprise that Torag approached him on how the force was doing. He continued to spin his revolver, but slowly pulled it closer to its holster until it perfectly slipped in. Once the revolver was resting in its holster, he turned to Torag before speaking, his face blank and expressionless mainly due to the fact he didn’t have one. ”The way I see it, these folks are hurting so bad for a good commander they’d listen to a bluejay if it started giving orders. Someone like yerself should have no problem in rallying the troops. Course that ain’t gonna be the real problem.” Omega turned back to looking out over the sea and holding his fingers out like a gun pointed.

”To the West we’ve got reports of demons popping up at an unknown rate, and though the scouts aren’t back just yet, we’ve been feeling some tremors from the North; Most likely Machina riding in.” He readjusted his hat sand continued speaking in a calm southern tone. ”Right now our only advantage is the fact we got here first. We already know the lay of the land and while they’re setting up, we can start planning our first move.”

@Knight of Doom@fluorescent

Max gasped and put both his hands over his heart ”You always know just what to say to a girl.” The sarcasm in his reply was overly present. With that bit over his hands dropped back to the side and slid halfway into his pockets. He couldn't help but chuckle when Alex mentioned the complex's thin walls, ”Oh I hear ya. Can’t tell you how many noise complaints I’ve gotten.” There were more than a few occasions where Max got a little too excited and forgot to control his volume. Normally this was only a problem when it happened say at 1 am and certain tenants had either a child with them or a crippling hangover.

Max began thinking through his schedule, or lack thereof seeing as it was Saturday which was his usual day off. ”Sure, I got nothing going on today. What did you have in mind?” Max asked with a chipper smile. Before Alex had a chance to answer, however, Max noticed Cassandra, who had previously skipped by the two, currently had her eyes fixed on silver haired boy. Max looked over at the garden as not to start staring as well but gave his friend a heads up. ”Hey, admirer at 3 o'clock. Smokey’s got her crosshair locked on you. Something going on between you two? Would explain the singing earlier.”
Short post is short but it did its job.

@Flamelord@Mega Birb

I didn't tag you guys just in case you wanted to place your characters elsewhere but anyone can interact with Omega now.
Omega

Heaven had truly felt the sting of defeat at The Battle of Dianex. Not only did they fail in their objective but they lost a good number of souls, including Valkyrie Commander Gwynn. On top of all this, reports indicated the demons had taken the prize along with Diana the Dragoness. With all of that in mind, one would think the angelic forces would have lost their moral or at least be hesitant about the next battle. Instead, the warriors of heaven had banded together with a much stronger resolve than before; including the spiritual gunslinger, Omega.

Up until this point, Omega had tried to stay behind on the defensive lines. His main concern had never been attacking or taking from the enemy, but protecting his home and people. But after such loses, he knew the heavens needed as many frontliners as they could get, or else the battles would soon be on their territory. Now he stood at the edge of their current encampment just outside the archipelago looking over the sea while spinning one of his revolvers. Though the ruins were the ultimate goal, they provided little in means of defensive support and with scouts reporting that enemy forces had arrived as well, any attempt to simply walk in and claim them would lead to a slaughter.

For now, they waited. Someone would have to make the first move, and when they did, the armies of heaven would be ready.
@Awesomoman64

Obviously it's under Grafdakka's control. Sure he doesn't have the support of the rest of the Machinas, but he's King of the (underwater) Hill! Ain't no one taking his throne! NO ONE! BUWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

@TheWindel

Awesome. I think I might have enough information to set the scene for the heaven's side. (Or at least Omega's point of view.)
@KoL

Is anyone currently in control of the ruins or are all the armies just surrounding it right now?
