Bio

This is my second profile on here, and I have been Play-By-Post RPing for about nine years now. I do my best to see every RP to the end or at least let my character come to his/her own dramatic conclusion when I feel like signing off. Just like novel writing in real life, I tend to find myself on long hiatuses. Since writing is a great way to work out your brain, I try stay engaged as much as possible.

My favorite genres include futuristic worlds, mysteries, and super powers. Any mixture of these three elements will peek my interest.

Alright, mind if I put this revised character in character section?

The end of your character sheet kind of makes it sound like you're starting out at the very beginning, but you are starting with three Pokemon on your team. So where exactly are we joining your character on his adventure? Is he about to face off against his first gym leader? Are gyms and such even going to be his main focus?

I'm just providing some things to think about. Most importantly, I want to know WERE (the exact location) your character is starting. You can go ahead and post in the IC section whenever you like.

Sounds good.
That's a major bummer, I thought long and hard on those. Anyway, changing out nincada is easy. The gimmick was just a general bug Pokemon. I'd like a heracross but the idea was the first Pokemon he caught was something easy. Let's make it a Beedrill and say he caught it as a Weedle.

If I can't have Ekans I'll look for a similarly scary Pokemon. The idea was it was stronger than his trainer is capable of taming. Suggestions? Maybe a ghastly or a sableye, I'd like some suggestions before I change that.

Anyway, I'll get right on that. After I do, am I good to go?

I think Ghastly is a good choice based on what you said. Or even Timburr (which doesn't look as scary, but is intimidating all the same).
I picked them because they are all similar to critters in the area: ciceda come to Kentucky every four years or so. Ekans was the closest I could find to the cottonhead. The patrat is based on all the groundhogs we have. They're mostly in parks and other cities but they're abundant because people have stopped killing them and they reproduce quickly.

I hope they're in Kentucky but I'm willing to change any pokemon that need to be, obviously

So, I just did the check, and unfortunately, all three of you Pokemon aren't located nearby. Especially the Ekans and Nincada. I placed those two Pokemon more based on there evolved forms (Arbok being a Cobra, and the Nincada line taking inspiration from Ninjas). Both of these Pokemon are found in Asia, and Ekans are also found in Africa.

Patrat on the other hand is found just a couple states West of Kentucky in the Great Plains area of the USA. So it is entirely possible that some ventured to Kentucky or that your character visited that area and caught one while he was there.

Here is a list of Pokemon that are within Kentucky and surrounding states. This is a little wider radius than I normally do, but it gives you a great selection I hope...

I did receive your character sheet. Everything looks good at first glance, but I need to run your Pokemon choices through my system to make sure they are all available in your area (in North America at least).

I fell behind on my chores yesterday, and I'm about to have to get ready for work today.

I will give final approval after work today (or tomorrow morning if I don't get around to it tonight.)

I would like more people to post in the IC section before I respond to Wayward's last post, but if nobody posts in the IC section by tomorrow morning, I'll go ahead and reply.
I fell behind yesterday with my chores and stuff, but I just managed to get a reply in on our PM collaboration.

I can start a discord, no problem.

I can make the next IC post tonight after work (or tomorrow morning, if I don't get around to it tonight).
@Balthazar007 hurricane Dorian has been coming up in my area so not sure when I'll be able to post. Hope you've been having a good time on your vacation!

Be safe!

And thank you. My vacation was great. Saw a bunch of beautiful architecture and ate a lot of great food.
I will be online for an hour-ish tonight from 10-11.
I'm excited to get this ball rolling again.
That's awesome! If you dont mind my asking, where are you guys vacationing to?

Travelling is soooooo much fun. Hope you're having a great time! Sorry I havent replied for indigo yet in PMs but I will!

We're in Mexico, visiting family and seeing the sights.
Where to? Also, is it possible to fit another in at some point? Maybe not now but a little later?

¡Viva Mexico!

And yes, this RP is still open. Send me your proposed character ideas via PM on or after this Saturday.
