Current It's been three years since we lost Polymorpheus, a dear friend. It's felt like a lot longer, that time. I still think about Poly every so often, and how I miss them so very much. I won't forget them.

Bio

uhhhh, hi there

I am here and I sorta exist so yes this is my ‘bio’ and it will probably be rather brief and suck and be sloppy, just like me.
So, without further ado..

stuff about me

Most people call me Barti or Bart as well as a few other things since it’s just easier or meaner than the actual thing - I invite you to do so as well.

I’m a 23-year-old (bday June 20th!) Texan who enjoys thunderstorms and rain far too much, and likes anime, running, metal music, and copious amounts of DRUGS candy, among many other cool things - like DnD and MTG.

I enjoy group rps as well as 1x1s. For groups I have what I think is a decent array of interests, most of it being profusely weeb-y. I like Fantasystuffs (Modern especially), supernatural themes, pretty much all Japanese stuff - including historically accurate settings - as well as general dark/grim themes, comedic slice of life trash, academy rps, unique plots, etc. etc. As for 1x1s I pretty much do romance, but I can do non-romantic stuff too if you give me something to work with xP
The only genre I find myself not entirely comfortable with is really sci-fi stuff, but, if the plot/idea catches me enough it can hold my interest. Oh, and my writing level is high casual to low advanced.

I’m a sarcastic, snarky, bipolar-depressed, degenerate garbage can, but generally people seem to like me (I don’t know why in the hot hell you would) - but if you would also like to be my friendo lemme know.
I don’t bite.
Usually owo xd rawr

welppp...I guess that’s okay for now
thanks for reading, you potatoes

Aegus Reister

The Dragon-looking boy thought over Aegus' proposition while nodding, and presumably figuring out how to address a man of such stature - before accepting his offer. And of course the Rustics would accept his involvement in their recreations! They had little choice! If they truly wished to shove their opponents into the dirt, they required someone of class. Someone who didn't just swing their weapon, or magic, or...claw...wildly around the battlefield and hope to strike a winning blow.

The other boy stood up, his extra height over Aegus easily emphasized. Hfft...the meek still do not realize to stoop in the presence of their betters, he scoffed inwardly, but of little toil I suppose...perhaps I can teach them proper etiquette while they are cheering me on during this tournament..

"You'll be the first member of the team then."

"Only naturally.." Aegus said as he looked at the raised hand with an unpleasant look, reminiscent of how a wolf raises its lips to reveal its teeth and deliver a snarl.

How dare he even suggest...Gah. The lack of manner is almost unbearable.. he thought, feeling a little queasy at the thought of shaking Nidgardt's hand.

However - Aegus' attention soon turned elsewhere before he could decline the hand. Close by, another savior was granting a gift. Though...it seemed this gift would be transferred through physical contact, not the likes that Aegus would allow himself to commit. The voluptuous girl he had seen as he had been eavesdropping seemed to be using her powers on this other person, who had entered the room shortly before the Equip-user.

Soon enough though, after the girl's action, ghostly chains soon surrounded the shy lower-person..

BOOF!

A lusty, thunderous noise boomed as the chains blew apart, sending nearby classroom objects across the room. Books, flyers, papers - one of which flew straight into Aegus' face, who was standing quite close by - all sent tumbling through the air by the sudden release of power. The short boy's long white hair was blasted out of place as well, now looking quite unruly as he reached up to peel the parchment from his face and throw it away.

The dust was cleared - and the first thing the boy noticed was one of the spectral chains was uncomfortably close to his face - as he hadn't moved backwards even a step. His hand slowly rose up from below, forming around the ominous glowing chain, though without touching it. Then he looked past it.

"Oh..?" It had seemed...the one person become...two? "Peculiar.." he pondered aloud.

But suddenly, during the other student's bouts of joy, the chains rattled and pulled handsomely away from Aegus, reforming closer to their charge, then emitting a bright flash.

And then only one was left..

...I must admit...even if they are peasants...some of their powers are oddities of which I am intrigued by.. Aegus conceded to himself.

His thought was interrupted by another student rushing from the hall, asking if they were all okay.

"Of course I--" he started to say, but someone else beat him to it.

“We're fine,” they said. “please leave us. We're in the middle of a meeting.”

Aegus looked to the speaker. It was a girl he had met recently after he had arrived to this school - Alicia. He was never quite sure why he had hung out with her, but people did call her a Witch on a daily basis. Perhaps her looks had distracted him from her lower-caste level long enough for her to plant him with a spell? In any case, it was of little significance. They hadn't hung out for long. Merely a day.

Now she was to him as most other students were - a simple boor.
Err, well yeah. Her power is to become a gargoyle and have powers similar to one.

I'll see what I can do I guess
@VitaVitaAR Here is my CS Submission ^^ Hope it is good for you xP

I have a question - can magical girls sense other magical girls? As I understand it, we won't be restricted to any one area(besides Japan). If so, how will we find other magical girls?
I may have some interest in this, if you're still allowing. Will be working on something.

The three approached the middle of the field - with still no visible sign of the enemy besides artillery fire and the quickly-quelled snow. It seemed the enemy would be playing defense. That may be a slight problem - Bak was likely good at holding checkpoints.

The Alchemist cracked his knuckles after he had jogged to catch up with the other two. "Looks like we're facing a few chickens, eh? Well, let's not let the yellow-bellies stay all couped up.." he jeered as entered the crude "hall", and approached the wall that was closer to their side of the field.

A couple seconds and a few crackling strains of energy later, a thin, but wide, horizontal peephole appeared in the stonework. "Eheheh, there ya are.." he chuckled. He placed both hands against the stone, then removed them, leaving two dark-spots of energy, before drawing back both his arms-

-and thrusting them into the wall.

The black energy streaked down the stone, disappearing into the ground below it - before shooting back up quickly into Aram's hands, the wall along with the ground it on stood on vibrating, shaking like a mini earthquake. He was performing a mass transfer of the ground through the wall. And the result - two massive hands of rock, each several feet wide from thumb-knuckle to outer-hand, burst forward from the wall, shooting out violently fast - one towards Rurik, and one towards the much further away Bak.

Both hands were slightly larger than Bak herself - and every few yards, the "arm" of each one sprouted thick supports that would shoot out from below and dig into the ground - to support the weight of the quickly-elongating structures.

The leftmost hand shot out towards Rurik in a shape reminiscent of a sideways, sign-language "Y". Aram aimed to widen the attack to keep the other student from avoiding it as much as he could. The other hand came flying at Bak in a simple, open-hand form, aiming to grasp her and squeeze her into submission.

"AHAHAHA, dodge this, slowpokes!" he shouted as his attacks ripped through the air towards his opponents.

Jirani Mini

A spot of water dampened her shoulder.

Then another.

Then another.

She held out her bare hand to the sky, letting more of the water land upon her skin - it seemed the drips were now congregating more into a drizzle. Even without bending - one could tell from the atmosphere and the clouds that it was going to rain soon. Yet the prison personnel still let the benders out into the yard.

How foolish.. Jirani thought. They had protocol for these sort of things - if it was raining, or seemed it was about to - the prisoners were to stay inside. Even if it meant they were deprived of their fresh air for the day.

The short, young woman stood towards the corner of the courtyard, away from most of the other inmates. Being in this prison meant she had betrayed her nation, but she didn't know which of the prisoners would see reason or not - just being associated with the Fire Nation was grounds for being beat in a prison. And she wasn't sure the guards would help her either, if it came to that.

However, with a fight having erupted in the center of the courtyard, and a new flock of inmates arriving to the yard as the doors moved to the side, it seemed like the prime moment for some sort of riot to take place - though there was no way in hell she could start one by herself..

But, it seem she didn't have to.

One of the newly arrived inmates, seemingly oblivious to the rules placed on benders when in prison, caught some of the drizzle, and launched it towards the group fighting in the middle. As you'd expect - none of the guards liked that. She was quickly surrounded by said guards, the men clutching their hilts and calling the art of flame to their palms. If she was trying to distract them even further - it had worked.

Naught but a few seconds later, a swirling ball of air - apexed by a girl about her size - came hurling past her; the force almost toppling the ex-officer. She stumbled to keep her footing, flailing her arms. A-An Airbender?? How has she even survived in here this long?! she thought frantically.

It had seemed the yard had quickly complicated itself - far more than she had anticipated. Perhaps escape would actually be possible! We have to act fast, before they send more soldiers.. she thought as she ran towards a guard that was preoccupied with other inmates.

"Riot!" she heard called allowed. Now the other inmates were stirring. She witnessed the others start to turn on the guards as she ran, the Earthbenders shooting chunks of rock at the outnumbered guards, and the present Waterbenders working to quell the already-suppressed flames of them. The riot was now well underway.

Jirani darted behind the guard she had approached, aiming to slam her foot into the back of his knee, then deliver a swift forearm to the crook of his neck - where his helmet did not protect him.

If only she were that fortunate.

As she made for her attack, the guard moved his leg, causing her to end up kicking him in the calf. Which he didn't like, obviously.

"What the hell are you doing?!" he shouted at her as he turned to shoulder her away roughly, unsheathing his blade.

But Jirani had other plans - she threw herself into him as he tried to draw his weapon, clasping her own hands around the hilt to try and wrestle it from his grasp. He had the strength advantage, but she had the momentum. Hopefully she would be able to topple him, and rip the weapon from his hands, threatening him into submission with it.

Aegus Reister

Aegus raised his eyebrows. A tournament, hmm? He had never been in one, but he had heard of them. And he had nothing else to do - he was smart enough to not attend class - who needed to go to a financial math class when you were in a wealth class of your own? In any case, the proposition of a tournament intrigued him.

He stood up from where he had been eavesdropping outside of the room, while tossing the remnants of his icecream in the trash, and casually strolling over to the door, leaning against the frame of it - directly behind Kato.

”A tournament, you say? he interrupted. ”If you less fortunate folk need a sponsor, or perhaps a power-player, I may be your gentleman.” he said as he adjusted his canvas gloves, while looking directly at Nidgardt. Despite the fact that the white-haired boy was noticeably shorter than the Foul-breed, his gaze still implied that he was looking down on him. The group as a whole, even.

”I expect no material rewards, of course, you people can keep what gains they award - no, what I want is entertainment. Perhaps Glory - as I already have fame.” Well, at least that’s how he saw himself - partially famous. Though he wasn’t. Most people at the school who had seen what he was outwardly like during his short time here - would likey only see him as the “snobby asshole exchange student”.

However, his real motives - while they were somewhat influenced by his own need for entertainment - were to get his parents to notice what he could accomplish without his money. If they thought he didn’t need it, they would give it back.

But in Aegus’ eyes, he very much did need it.
