Apparently, they didn't see her because by the time she got there they just walked away and went somewhere else. Hm, Nicole probably just had a mistaken identity. Oh well. Nicole shrugged and went back the way she came, hoping that nobody important saw her little mishap. It wasn't like they were a rarity, but Nicole still understood that it hurt to be made fun of because she just straight up didn't vibe with that shit. She didn't like to be embarrassed as airheaded as she was.

Walking along, Nicole figured she'd better get to class. History was on the agenda, and she quickly glanced at her binder for whatever reason before heading out to her class. It was then whatever in that skull of hers put two and two together and realized a rather fatal discrepancy. That wasn't the history binder! Her english binder was blue with white accents! This one was purple with glitter and gold! No fucking way! She gasped to herself and made a little beeline back to her locker to avoid the embarrassment.

Opening her locker, the cheerleader quickly exchanged binders and made a quick sigh of relief. What would've been. It was almost better that nobody tell so that nobody would realize that she had the wrong binder. But, then again, she doubted people cared that much about what sort of binder she carried to her class, nor did anyone care that much about that schedule of hers. It was time for Nicole to carry on to class, and that was exactly what she was going to do.

"Bro what the fuck was that?"

Jack Goff was clearly not happy with what had just happened. That fuckin' bitch totally just meddled in his affairs and ruined everything that he stood for! All that work for nothing! He was greasing her up good and he was just about to make his move and get some good ol' loving! Then, there was Georgie! Why?! He couldn't understand, nor could his lackeys, apparently. He was leaning against a wall rubbing his temples, his frustrations clearly boiling over. What was it with her? He didn't understand why she had decided to go out of her way just to fuck with him. That was like... not cool whatsoever.

"Listen, bro, I think she just jealous." One of his lackeys, Chad, said. "Why else would she do that? Girls just don't be doing that for no reason." Chad had a point, but it didn't add up. "I mean, you've got a point, bro, but the girl hates me, bro!" Jack shrugged. "Bro, then she just a plain ol' bitch, bro. She better back off, bro, or she be catching these hands." Jack looked at Chad with a weird look on his face. "Bro! She's still a girl! Don't be touching girls unless they let you. You know that's not right."

"You're right. My bad, bro." Chad looked down at his shoes. Jack sighed, "Oh well, another one's gonna come eventually, right? Can't cry over spilled milk."

Oh thank god, Rich saw her. Smiling, the streamer walked over to her buddy. Even along the way, she couldn't spot anyone from the Knights anywhere even remotely close to them. Strange. Maybe they decided to pass on the party? Maybe they all had emergencies? It was strange to have them be missing from a party like this one, and it wasn't something Samantha wanted to think about. All that mattered was that Rich was here and that was something she could vibe with, and at least he was able to see her and hopefully get her involved in whatever the hell he was involved in. It was going to make networking a whole lot easier for her. Samantha and Rich were enough to start a party and get something going.

"You think I know?" Samantha laughed, "I haven't heard shit from them!" Samantha turned around to see if she could spot someone just barely coming in and being hella late. Seems like nobody was coming in. "Shit, don't matter. If it's just us, it's just us." Samantha smiled, as she noticed that Rich was looking off somewhere in the distance, as if he was tracking something. Clearly, something had caught his eye, but the question was what? What was this man staring at right now? Maybe it was a homie? Samantha turned around in his direction again, only to see a dinky little minivan.

It was then it was figured out why Rich was staring. "Melissa? Melissa Elliott? I... I don't know. That's something you've gotta ask Jordan, friend. I know nothing about her."

The young sun shined through the residence that contained the Haruna clan, the distant sound of a cascading waterfall nearby as Usagi Haruna sat cross-legged, her eyes closed as she held her hands on her legs. Taking a deep breath and exhaling, Usagi cracked an eye open before she glanced over to her father, who was also meditating with her. "Dad, why are we doing this? I don't think I'm doing it right." She complained, her blue eye staring at her content, peaceful father. "Well, Usagi, you've got the chūnin exams coming up soon, don't you? Mamoru replied, "I've had many disciples go through this, and they've all gone on to be great. Minako went through this, and look at her now. I think it will benefit you greatly, Usagi. Usagi looked down, before closing her eye, "Only if I'm doing it right! All I'm doing is breathing." Mamoru chuckled and made a content sound, "Oh Usagi, so naive. If all you are doing is breathing, then you're doing it right."

"Well, I think I'm good!" Usagi said, stretching her arms and yawning, "I'm hungry." The prospective medical-nin stood up, stretching again. "Come on, dad, let's go eat!" She said, turning around to disappear inside of the house. "Alright, Usagi." He replied, straining himself as he got up and followed. Inside, Rei Haruna was just about finished with preparing breakfast for the day. Three bowls of rice sat steaming, with helpful servings of natto and other staples of breakfast. Usagi practically flew in and sat down. The poor girl had been up since before the sun had even risen, and she had no time to eat as she was spending her time for today's exams. Jutsus, techniques, the works. She was burying her nose in books and practicing jutsus as soon as she was awake. Straight out of bed, and the night before, she was rehearsing them in her bed. These exams would literally make or break her, and considering the reputation and status of the Haruna clan, and the amount of work she put in, Usagi really did not want to fail and let her clan down. Sure, there were to be chances in the future, but all the Harunas passed their first time around.

There was a lot resting on her shoulders.

The pressure was on, but yet Usagi's appetite didn't waver. Grabbing her chopsticks and digging in, Usagi started to demolish her bowl of rice. "Someone's hungry." Rei laughed, as she grabbed some fish, "Are you ready for your exams?" Rei Haruna asked curiously. "Yeah." Usagi nodded, "As ready as I can be." Mamoru nodded, chuckling a bit. "You know, your sister was the opposite. She was so nervous for her exams she could barely eat. We had to give her a couple of dorayaki before she could even think about eating." Usagi shrugged, "But she passed, didn't she?" Mamoru gave Rei a smirk, before looking at Usagi. "That's right. She did." "So why do I have to be worried? I worked just as, if not harder than Minako!" Usagi remembered watching Minako stand in their backyard and spend every single minute she had practicing the various jutsus she had to know. Usagi was but a young child, but she remembered how Minako was practicing. For the time leading up to the exams, it was like Usagi and Minako weren't siblings. Minako had no time to play with Usagi, and she was always upset about it. However, now that Usagi was about to take the exams on her own, she completely understood.

"Don't get too confident, Usagi." Mamoru warned, "That's how you fail." Rei nodded, "One of my friends as a kid failed because she went in too confident. Eventually, she passed, but it took her a while before she could do it." "Remaining modest is a must, Usagi. We Haruna are not the type to be braggarts. We do our work and we acknowledge it if we are credited. Being boisterous only does you bad." "I'm not being boisterous." Usagi replied. "Usagi." Rei glared. "I'm not!" She shrugged. "I know, but in the case that you are in a situation where you can brag -- don't." "Okay, dad... okay."

"That's right, Usagi. Mamoru looked over at Usagi, smiling, "You're gonna be fine, Usagi."

The Hokage was always someone that Usagi admired. But, knowing that someone of them, maybe even herself, may die, Usagi was lying if she said it didn't instill some fear into her heart. Usagi didn't want to die in general, but a prospective medical-nin dying in the exams out of all the things in the world was a little ironic. This was dangerous, for sure, but if her parents, and her sister had made it through, then everything was going to be alright for her. She trusted her training enough to give her the best chance of survival that she could have. The first written section was going to be a breeze for her, hopefully. She had heard it was rather difficult, but obtaining information on what exactly was on it was rather difficult for Usagi.

Hopefully, it was what she actually studied and not something in a textbook written way before the Haruna clan was even a thing. Only time would tell, and by the time the Hokage left the students to their own accord, Usagi stood up in search of her teammates. It wasn't hard to locate Kurimi. She was probably the smallest person at this school, and Usagi didn't have to look far to figure out where she was. Walking over and getting closer, it seemed Suzuhime had already found her.

“Where is Usagi?” Suzuhime asked. "Right here!" Usagi beamed, waving. "You guys ready for the exams today?"

It was the start of her last semester at King's. Just a few quick months ago, it was only a year, but since then the time had dwindled down and it was only a matter of months before every senior at King's was out of there for good and forever. Nicole was rather conflicted about this prospect. On one hand, that meant she could go somewhere else! Meet new people, get new opportunities, see new things! That was the part Nicole was excited for. On the other hand, that meant she wasn't going to be seeing the peeps she already saw as frequently. No longer would she be able to see her cheerleading peeps on command. Her existing relationships were going to be harder and not the same once she graduated.

But, they had a long way to go. Nicole figured it was better to just enjoy the time they had now rather than dwell on the inevitable future. It was too depressing to think about how she wasn't going to be seeing a lot of these people for a long time after the spring. Taking a deep breath, Nicole had a pep in her step as she stepped away from her locker. A binder marked "ENGLISH" with sparkly letters and plenty of glitter and gold on it was held against her chest. The thing was, however, was that her next class was actually history but nobody bothered to notice and tell Nicole that she had the wrong binder. Nobody wanted to ruin her vibe!

Right now, Nicole still had some time to kill, so she wanted to see if she could find some of her cheerleading peeps and vibe with them until the bell rang. That was a good plan, right? Only thing was that she couldn't exactly figure out where anyone was. Such was typical for Nicole. A sea of people was not something Nicole could really sort through very well. At least, a sea of people in Nicole's eyes. It didn't help that her mind was on other things as well. Thinking about how acai was pronounced was still messing with her to this day. Nicole then found a rather familiar silhouette. Maybe that was someone from the dance team? Or it could've just been a stranger... that she could befriend! Only one way to tell. Nicole raised her hand, waving. "Hey!" She beamed, waving.
