BAYLEY APPRECIATION STATION

As breaching charge blew, Alyssa surged in and made her way inside, keeping her gun pointed upwards and in front of her as she cleared the room and scanned for threats. There was one man on the floor, which Alyssa had quickly noticed was bleeding. After the room was clear, Alyssa moved to the apprehended suspect and checked him for any visible wounds. So far, all that was visible was a head laceration but other than that she could not see any wounds on his person. After he was cleared and no longer a threat, Alyssa tended to his wounds with her first aid kit and addressed the bleeding, before returning to the formation, ready to continue the sweep of the gas station.
John had an internal sigh of relief as Juliet nodded. He assumed that meant he was in the clear, considering he wasn't already shot and left bleeding out on the ground. Juliet's determination to have John be a member of the community was honestly inspiring. In spite of all that was going on and how the world was at this moment, the girl's readiness to trust someone that she'd just met was rare, if not impossible to find. Usually people who were this trusting didn't end up far in this world, but Juliet seemed to be the exception. Considering the community she had surrounding her, and the people willing to fight tooth and nail for her, she was quickly proving to be one of the only exceptions to the case.

John had to see what Juliet had to offer in her community. It was the least he could do, and it was in each other's best interest to do so. John still had every intention to disappear at some point, but he figured he should at least humor Juliet. He wanted to see just what exactly this woman and her trusting powers had managed to accomplish and build. Not like he had anywhere better to go or do. But, just before he was lulled into a slightly lessened alert state, Adrian had brought up John turning his weapons over. John looked at Adrian as if he had said some sort of blasphemy. "Really?" John glanced at Juliet and then back at Adrian.

"I mean, like I said, I'm not gonna do you guys any harm." John said. The man next to Juliet seemed unwavering in his ways. It was going to be like that, he figured. Sighing, he reached for his rifle's sling and let it fall onto the ground, before reaching behind and pulling out his pistol, his hand still up as he slowly sank and put the pistol on the ground. "That's all I got on me." John informed, glancing between the both of them again, "Happy?"
Surprisingly enough, Anna and Jett were managing to get along for once. The fact that they were slicing through their competition like a hot knife through butter really helped when it came to rebuilding their relationship and trust in one another. It was natural considering what they were doing to the competition. Anna's knowledge of the human body and how it operated had come in handy when it came to manipulating it and making the laws of physics work against them. Hell, they even managed to have a few exchanges that weren't filled with the awkward tension and aura that used to be around them. For the most part, Anna thought it was safe to assume that whatever beef they had with each other was at the very least suspended and pushed aside for the time being.

Eventually, they were among the finalists for tonight's competition. The goal of being safe from elimination was still within reach. Anna was more than sure that neither she or Jett were particularly interested in being sent packing. Anna had made many reservations and arrangements to put her life on hold for this very thing. The last thing that she wanted to do was to waste all that and come back home. Although, then again, this was a reality show. Just because she was sent packing didn't exactly mean that she was going home just yet. But, that didn't mean she wanted to give up. The biomedical engineer wanted to make the most out of her time here, and to do that, she needed to win.

"I was born ready, Jett." Anna said, slipping off her robe and stepping toward the pool. The two were so good of a duo that Anna had hardly ever touched the water. Only her legs and the tip of her hair had managed to touch the water, but other than that Anna had stayed relatively dry while she was on top of Jett's shoulders. Stepping into the pool, Anna shivered a bit at the now colder water that had occupied the pool. Since when did the water get so cold? Anna found Jett and started to climb on his shoulders, while seeing the competition across from them. "We can totally take them, Jett." Anna grinned, as she watched Chloe Thomas and David Hopper square up against them. "Let's do this." The girl said, her hands resting on top of her thighs.
Kimberly inhaled the cool Atlantic air of the island and sighed. It was the type of air that you could only find on a place as isolated as this was. It was pure, unadulterated nature. A literal breath of fresh air. It was nice getting away from the hectic city life that you found back home. It was just Kimberly, her husband, and the cars that they brought all the way there with them. Ross was in a Porsche for once, and Kimberly knew that wasn't really his style, which meant that he really wanted something out of this vacation. It was well needed, considering what they'd been through over the past few years. There were no more strings attached to them anymore. They had nothing to worry about. It was just them, their family, and their cars. But, with every year that came, those priorities were starting to shift. With their family as a whole growing older, the appeal of high octane racing and driving shriveled with every day that passed.

It was a miracle that Kimberly was out here in the first place. But she was here. The driver had a small smile on her face, before she heard Ross whistle and look at the car sitting behind them. Turning her head around with her arms folded, she glanced at the 911 that Ross's friend had let him borrow. It reminded her of the Porsche that she saw back in England. That thing tore, and there was no doubt that car would tear it up on the way back to Magnus's house. It was probably one of the best cars you could bring to these roads, but Kimberly's Evo was also no stranger to these roads. She glanced back at the Evo she was lended. It was gray, and there was quite a bit of aero with it. However, just because it had a lot of downforce didn't mean it wasn't able to slide whenever it wanted to. Kimberly was good at keeping her cars at the very limit. She was sure she was going to get it around these roads.

"A race? Always." That was enough for her to get ready to go. Ross just knew how to get Kimberly riled up, but that was what happened when you were married for the better part of the decade. "You're on." Kimberly said, before clambering into her car and getting set up. Turning the key, Kimberly could hear the 4 cylinder engine roar to life. Jabbing the gas pedal, she heard the 4G63 just briefly, before shifting into gear and rolling out. Since these were narrow mountain roads, there wasn't really room for Kimberly to try any passes. Didn't really matter, though. As long as Kimberly kept close to Ross throughout the course she would be able to figure something out toward the end. There was a bit of fog, which meant that the road was no doubt about to be a bit wet. Kimberly hoped that she would be able to keep her tires warm. That was going to be the key to keeping up with Ross.

The four wheel drive offered a slight advantage when it came to keeping traction. No doubt Ross was going to have his hands full with maintaining traction. It was the nature of the car and its drivetrain. Keeping just behind Ross, she followed at just the right length so that Ross could brake and turn without having Kimberly rear end him. It was a battle of attrition throughout these roads, and Kimberly was more than confident that she was going to be able to keep up. Watching Ross take the first turn, Kimberly trail braked through the same turn, kissing the apex just right before she powered out, the car just about to lose traction before Kimberly straightened it out, losing practically no distance between her and her husband. The Evo was holding up so far, the aero clearly holding up and doing its job as it followed behind the German car.

Scrambled eggs were one of the best ways to enjoy the gift to humanity that chickens had long bestowed. Hearing that the girl that was sitting in front of Charlie was rather disheartening and a bit of a tragedy to him. But, everyone was entitled to their own opinion, as much as he may have disagreed with it. There was nothing stopping them from expressing it. However, Charlie wanted to err on the side of caution and nod accordingly, before picking at his eggs again and eating them. But at the same time, how could someone not like eggs? Unless they were allergic, there really was no reason to!

Looking up at Talya as she asked about his life, he blinked twice and chucked a bit. Now Charlie wasn't one to involve himself in petty school drama or anything of that sort. So no, nothing spicy was going on in his life if Talya was. Well, that was a lie. Charlie looked down at his red-tinted eggs, before putting the last bite in his mouth and swallowing. "Yeah, I guess we could say there's something spicy in my life right now." Charles grinned, "The bottle of Tapatio I poured on these eggs was pretty spicy."

Charlie didn't think Talya heard any of that, as the bell had rung just as he got to the joke. He was just about to get up and put his tray away before Talya plucked his hand away and scribbled something into it. It took him by surprise, before she said her goodbyes. "Right, see ya, Talya." He replied. Charlie picked up the tray in one hand and putting it against his hip. Charlie opened his other hand, looking at the number that was scribbled on his hand. "Huh.... is that an eight.... or....?"
Hearing Ferrara's plan, Alyssa nodded. "Sounds good." She made clear, before moving. Stacking up behind the rest of her squad, Alyssa waited as D-Day rigged the door for entry. They were going to get in fast. She knew she could trust D-Day to get the door rigged as fast as he could. Her heartbeat surged as she waited for D-Day to finish prep, the adrenaline coursing through her veins as she let her training and instincts taken over. Years and years on the job were all stacking up for this moment. All she had to do was wait for the explosion and surge in like a wave.
