"Hopefully we get answers." Sam said as he dusted himself off. "Come on, let's see what we can find about the disappearances. At least that will give us something to go off of." He glanced one last time at where the two had left before following Dean away.

Back at the hotel, Sam called Bobby up, giving him the description of the girl and man. "Know anything about them?"
Sam growled softly but nodded in agreement as he slowly stood. Damn that kick hurt. "Do you think he really knows what we are?" He asked, watching them disappear around the corner. Whatever was going on, he didn't like it at all. It was too odd, fishy even.

"It's none of your concern. Just leave me and her alone." The man replied, placing himself between the girl and them. Something was clearly going on, something they were hiding. But what?

"We don't want any trouble. If you know anything-" Sam tried saying.

"Look, we know what you are, so cut the crap. We're dealing with it, so stay out of it." The man snapped before walking off, the girl following close behind.
Fear flashed across the girl's face before it disappeared. "This wasn't supposed to happen. It's all my fault." She replied before a man around Sam and Dean's age jogged over to them, glaring at the brothers. "What's going on here?" He asked, voice a deep growl.

The girl looked back at the man as he approached. "They know about the deaths." She replied, a slight hint of fear in her voice. The man glanced back at the brothers, taking in their appearance. "Who are you?"
Sam soon caught up to the girl, grabbing her upper arm to stop her. She let out a scream before turning around and kicking Sam hard in the nuts. A grunt of pain escaped Sam as he let her go, crumpling to his knees. She was tougher than she looked.

"Stay the Hell away from me!" She exclaimed, fists up and ready to fight as Dean drew near.
"Three four days at least." Sam replied as he followed him, looking around for anything out of the ordinary. He blinked upon seeing a girl cross the alley ahead of them; a teen girl with brown hair. "Dean." He said, nodding his head towards the girl in hopes his brother would see her before she disappeared.

Not wanting to wait too long, Sam ran down the alleyway towards the girl. "Hey!" He exclaimed, causing the girl to freeze temporarily before quickly running off. "Damnit." He growled before taking off after her.
Sam gave him a little nod in reply, noticing how his knuckles turned white. No matter what, Dean would always worry about him. He'd been taking care of him since he was a baby after their mother...He couldn't continue with the thought. It was too painful. He was too young to remember, but he knew it was his fault they didn't have a normal life.

If it wasn't for him, their mother would be alive along with their father. They wouldn't be orphans going on hunts. They wouldn't have freed Lucifer by accident, he wouldn't have ended up in the Cage, and he wouldn't be soulless.
After they had picked up some food, Sam gave him the directions for the town between bites. Silence hung in the air for what felt like hours before Sam spoke up again. "Heard anything from Cas? Where's he disappeared to anyways? Heaven?" He asked, being sarcastic at the end.

He did like the angel even if he didn't understand humans too much or anything about being one. However, he did bring his brother back from Hell and has helped them when they needed him. The only annoyance was his appearing and disappearing at times which usually resulted in unintentionally startling the two.
"Maybe it's a newly turned vampire they're trying to find that matches the description." Sam suggested as he got into the car, placing his bag in the backseat. "Hopefully we can figure it out before more kids die. There's bound to be an abandoned building or something for the coven to be hiding out in."

"Yeah, a weird one. The disappearances have all been girls around thirteen to fifteen." Sam replied, glancing over at his older brother. Vampires in the past did have patterns, but none as specific as this. They usually went after people they know wouldn't be missed, but this? This was definitely out there.

"What's even weirder is they're all brunettes. None of the other girls have gone missing except for them." Sam added.
