Icon: Public Personality: In one word, Bang is... theatrical. Deeply in love with America, Bob refuses to tolerate any speech which he considers un-american, and will violently lash out at anyone who acts in an "un-American" way. Despite having a seeming code as to what is "American", this code is never consistent and shifts on a daily basis, like the rest of Bang's personality. Some days he's focused on helping the American people some days he's busy posing and dancing across rooftops. One thing consistent is a hatred of communism in any form. Bang is recklessly courageous, brutally violent, and quick to anger. He is rather rude to everyone he meets and often utilizes racist or inflammatory language without a care because he knows he can get away with it. Bang doesn't fight crime or solve any problems he considers under his notice, only responding to threats he sees as too important to ignore. Otherwise he bums around and causes trouble.
Private Personality: Bob... is probably the exact same as his Bang persona, getting closer to him only reveals a small amount of self-loathing but otherwise what you see is what you get.
Super abilities:-Skills:
»Thief: Bob sustained himself through thievery prior to his transformation, and still possesses those thievery skills despite his comparatively more heroic career now.
-Powers:
»Nuclear Manipulation: Bob is able to manipulate nuclear energies, he uses this mostly to cause explosions, fired from his hands as beams of pure nuclear energy. His full explosive force is equivalent to 100 megatons of TNT, enough to completely destroy New York City, but at this strength his physical form may be cast far and wide, leaving him out of commission for quite some time until he can reassemble himself.
»Superhuman Strength: Bob hits as hard as a nuclear explosion, mostly due to the manipulation of nuclear energy and the fact that his physical form is a fallout cloud composed of mostly nuclear energy that can be moved at great speed and explode to create massive-force blows.
»De Facto Immortality: Bob's existence as a living fallout cloud means that he is for all intents and purposes immortal, unless he loses his ability to control nuclear energy or is facing an opponent strong enough to completely destroy his essence through magic, he is unkillable.
»Flight: Bob's powers enable him to fly.
-Weaknesses:
»Suit Punctures: Bob's suit is firm and defensible, but puncturing or destroying it means that Bob is fighting the devil without a crucifix. Without his suit, Bob's only hope is to poison his enemy, and he'd probably rather leave then attempt that (Poison is un-American).
»Stupidity: Bob is not very intelligent, and also very very sure of his own intelligence, he makes many mistakes and cannot keep his mouth shut to save his life.
»Magic: Though Bob cannot be killed by physical means, magic can effect him just as it does a normal human. His suit provides a level of protection from this, but his physical form can be killed by magical attacks.
Biography---------
Character History/Origin:Bob was not born lucky.
He was a sickly child, suffering from epilepsy and a weak immune system due to an inherited genetic disorder from his mother. His mental health was always incredibly poor, leading to a schizophrenia diagnosis and a guarantee that he was never to leave the house again. His mental issues eventually established themselves through a crazed love of America, a love of theatrics, and a hatred of communism.
Bob was raised in a bubble by his parents, a Vietnam vet, son of a deceased WW2 soldier and incredibly patriotic, and a housewife who shared her husband's obsession for the country they lived in. Bob was obsessively fawned over and treated like an infant. Eventually it was too much, and Bob escaped from his home as a teenager. Taught only by his parents, he'd been fostered to believe in the greatness of America above all else, and he expected America to treat him well. Unfortunately this turned out to not be the case. Bob was dying of a multitude of illnesses within days, even so Bob's patriotism never faded. He attempted to sustain himself through thievery, and found himself supported by a few good American folks, but eventually he collapsed in the cold.
Then he was found by someone. Lying on the ground seizing and vomiting up blood. To this day Bob doesn't know where he had been the last thirty years, it was as if that whole period of his life went blank. When he was next aware, he was in the center of a room, glowing orange lights painting the walls. Then a flash, and then he felt his sick body melt away from him, burned away like paper in a flame. He watched his hand as the flesh peeled off, layer by layer, until it was gone, and then the bone collapsed too. He felt nothing, but he couldn't help but suck down a few last breaths as his jaw collapsed, rotting, from his face.
Finally his head was burned away, he prayed as his last moments of consciousness faded... or not, as it turned out. He was still awake, alive. He could see, he could feel. What was he? What the hell had happened? Where was he?
The shutters to the room which he had been held in then shot open, revealing the wall he was looking at to be a window, where he was examined by a number of men in lab coats, all wearing an owl sigil somewhere on their person.
"Test successful. Subject five active." Bob recalled hearing.
"Wow, you sure we shouldn't keep him as a Talon?"
"Nah, Eagle needs an arrow for the heel, and we need to provide."
Very suddenly, Bob's form began to shift, and after a few moments, an explosion roared from within him that demolished the facility.
All except for a pair of objects, a suit, seemingly created exactly for him, and another, more streamlined. He placed himself into one of them, and immediately felt the connection, the power. He immediately tested this power by tearing the mechanical parts out of a man who had been using them to manipulate energy much like he was, seemingly a survivor of the explosion.
Bob emerged into the city of Metropolis soon after, and he has begun his crusade across America of making things into his perfect version of America through threats and attacks on those who he sees as weakening the spirit of the great United States of America.
The changing world breeds a changing Bob, and he now serves as an agent of CADMUS, a rogue government organization. He works as a "Metahuman Cleanup Specialist", dealing with whatever metahuman CADMUS sees as a threat to the American people.
