Pokémon Galar

Shiranui was looking at navigation information about Route 6 over a breakfast of tea and crumpets. He found it was mostly cliffs under an intense sun; but jumping out at him were rumours of a scientist named Cara Liss that combined two fossils together to form one of a quartet of mismatched fossil Pokémon.

Liam had been reading an article about Cara as well, but it mentioned a partner named "Bray Zenn". Liam had upon reading about what those two did imagine Lilieep's neck and head on the body of an Aerodactyl.

(the next day)
Liam was up bright and early and went to check on the Galarian Ponyta. Joy said that it had rested through the night and she could discharge it. Liam was thrilled to hear that and proceeded to go have breakfast alongside his Pokémon.

Joy came out after a bit to inform them that the Ponyta was going to be fine, but she wanted to keep it overnight to be safe. She also insisted that since it was late that they turn in for the night. Liam agreed and went to the back to get ready.

A pair of Indede carefully escorted the Galarian Ponyta to the back so Joy could finish treating it. A few other Indede came out to collect Pokémon from Liam and his friends for healing. Liam also sending his two other Pokémon he had caught, but didn't have space for on his team for healing. After he got all eight of them back, he sent two into storage

With the Ponyta not resisting help, getting the Ponyta to Nurse Joy was fairly easy. Liam informed her of how they found it, and what emergency first-aid he gave it in the field.

Well, we should probably get going then," Liam stated. Beckham communicated to the Ponyta that they could take it to a Pokémon Center for more treatment, but what it was just given will handle the situation for a little bit.

After bringing the first aid kit, Beckham held the Rotom phone for Liam as it was showing the entry on Galarian Ponyta. Liam noted that they weren't typically found in the part of Galar. He finished wrapping the sprain. "So, I guess we should try and get this Ponyta to the Pokémon Center."

Liam recalled Duraladon while Beckham was kicking around a pebble he had produced from his pocket-like pouch. Liam cautiously approached the Galarian Ponyta to see if he noticed anything terribly wrong. "This Ponyta seems to have a sprained ankle, nothing too serious." Liam turned to Beckham and asked him to bring him the first aid kit.
The Raboot did as asked. Liam opened the kit and found some bandages, He used them in tandem with a Super Potion from his pack. He warned the Pokémon that it might sting for a moment, but it will be alright. He then tied the bandage around the ankle in question and said that he couldn't do more in the field but the Joy at the Pokémon Center could do more. Liam more or less only knew enough for emergency field first aid, and could help a Pokémon out until it could get to a Pokémon Center.

Dreepy hid deeper into Liam's jacket. It then cautiously poked its head out. It took the berry from Jen and turned toward Liam.
"Dreep!"
"You want to battle?" Liam inquired. The Dreepy shyly nodded in confirmation.
"Beckham! It's time to shine!" The Raboot emerged from the ball and eyed up the small dragon. Duraladon stood on the sidelines and tried to encourage the Dreepy. Dreepy started with Infestation. Beckham used Ember. It didn't do a lot of damage but still did enough to do noticeable damage to Dreepy.

Beckham next used Agility While Dreepy used Quick Attack.
(Infestation 2)
Beckham next used Flame Charge.
Dreepy used Bite and did fair damage.
(Infestation 3)
Beckham's Flame Charge missed, and Dreepy's Bite landed.

Beckham's Blaze activated and he used Flame Charge, getting a critical hit. Dreepy used Astonish.
(Infestation 5)
Liam tossed a Luxury Ball at Dreepy. It hit the ghost and sucked it in. The ball wiggled three times and snapped shut. Since Liam already had at least six Pokémon on his team, the ball's center button began to glow a steady red.

"Dreepy has been registered to your Pokédex."

'Seems so," Liam said. "But, it was just nearly abducted by a couple of humans, so it could still just be scared."
