Fret - He's healthy, no scratches or anything. He may be confused, but he's trying to keep his cool, but also could be on the verge of panicking.
Sarah - She's healthy, no longer bleeding out. She's very confused as well, but pretty relieved since nothing's hurting anymore, there isn't noisy chaos, and she found her dad.
Upon waking up, Fret rubbed his eyes, before stretching as if this was just some normal morning... before he realized this wasn't his bed, it was ground.
"GAH-!"
The former Player scrambled up and off the ground, white shoes squeaking against the floor. Eyes widened, he looked around... armored dancing guy, spazzing man on the ground, a rat- OH SHIT, A RAT. Or is it a Noise..? But this wasn't the Reapers' Game, right?
Right?
Breathing in and out slowly, Fret tried to make sense of this. Okay, he's in a glass cage with people that don't look at all like they're from Shibuya. He may or may not have his family worried sick again thanks to another... maybe-Game-but-he's-not-sure-yet.
Okay! Okay.
Tosai's got this, there's probably some way out. The lady did say that they would be called up soon, so maybe this is just some super weird misunderstanding and they'll be sent home with a pat on the back and a lollipop! Yeah, that- that could happen, in fact, that should happen.
Hopefully.
So, first order of business - ask around to see if anyone's got a clue about this.
Fret dusted off his vest, only to hear slight clinking... clinking? The Furesawa looked around, before opening his vest in an angle that only he could see what was within... and there he found multiple familiar pins, including a Reapers' Pin.
"Shit."
That's all the teenager muttered under his breath. Tosai could have sworn he had thrown that- that thing out after the events of the Game! So does that mean... this really was set up by the Reapers? But this wasn't Shibuya. Maybe this was a variation of that, at least... if he could Scan everyone, it could give him a clue, right?
Great thinking, Fret! Thanks, Fret!
With that, he focused really hard, and once again was he able to hear fragments of everyone's thoughts... none of them really helped, though! So much for his galaxy brain.
Those thoughtful bits and pieces going away as he unfocused, Fret decided - why not go back to that first order of business! Yeah, should work out juuuuust fine.
So, Fret made his way to the one that tried to spark a conversation in the first place, known as Red Riding Hood. Not that he knew that, of course. He figured that the guy on the floor would be okay, as the Riding Hood said. Fret had a friendly smile on his face, but that didn't mean he was all happy and cheery about this situation. Tosai just prefers to roll like that, y'know?
"Hey, Red!" The former-but-could-be-again Player greeted, waving. According to most, Fret was really approachable - and he may as well be just that right now! "I know you don't know what's going on, right? But, uh... did you get a fancy red and black pin? Just wondering!"
He didn't pay too much mind to Date, but once he caught sight of Ralsei, let's just say he didn't have the same thoughts he had about the rat.
"Oh my gosh... you're freakin' adorable!" Fret squealed out, cupping
his cheeks. Those very hands then slapped the aforementioned cheeks, as the
Furesawa shook
his head.
"Sorry, sorry- I'm not used to seeing thin- people like you that aren't Noise."Fret nodded towards
Ralsei's advice, sitting down with one leg out and the other bent up,
his elbow resting on
his knee while
his hand dangled in the air.
"Soooo... who're you guys, anyway?" Fret pointed to
himself with a free hand, thumb on
his chest.
"I'm Tosai Furesawa, but everyone calls me Fret!" ◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇
"Dad?"
A familiar voice cried out upon seeing Joel, the source having just woken up not too long ago.
Thank God that Sarah found someone she knew here, right? Sure, this was... obviously not a good situation, but it kind of seemed better than what she was stuck in before. Plus, the Miller wasn't dying! So, that's a huge plus.
She wasn't aware of what may have happened to Joel. To her, he's just the same old and great dad from home. So, well, her just being there may be a bit of a shocker to the man.
Sarah stepped closer, a relieved smile forming on her face. The winger looked at the sources of the commotion around her as she did, but finally put her focus on the older Miller once she was close enough. The girl had her hands to her chest, obviously nerved despite her grin. I mean, who would be thrilled in something as confusing as this? All Sarah wants is to at least know the general gist.
"...what even happened? Both here and home, if you wanna talk about that one. Nothing's really hurting, by the way, I- I don't really know how, but hey, that's good. Right?" Sarah leaned against the wall alongside her father, watching the other captives do their thing.
