@tobiax In that case, maybe I'll start with the boy character and see, where this rp goes.
@tobiax I see.

How long has the Digital World been known to people, or does the story start from the... Big Revelation, so to speak?
What's your stance on playing adults?

One character concept I had in mind is a father who lost his son to the Digital World and now takes care of the latter's former Digimon partner.

One possible quest for the character would be to seal away the Digital World, or at least from those under the age of 18.
Okay, it took a while but I got it. Hope it didn't come too late.

I used the surname Kovulan in this version, because I went with the assumption that Bianca is still Torvon's Mother in Storybrooke.
I have a feeling our NPC list is going to be ridiculously long by the time we get this started.

also @Chiro How's your character sheet(s) going mate?

I'll try to finish it by tomorrow.

Sorry I couldn't reply earlier, had a really busy weekend.
Okay, so how does everyone think Melody should get to Storybrooke?

1)Future child brings her back
2)The Dark One brings her back
3)A "Pinocchio" like character brings her back

In what sense a "Pinocchio"?
I’d offered but wasn’t sure if @Chiro had wanted it for their char

I’m cool with Alex taking it though - sounds intriguing haha

It was more of a suggestion from @Captain Swan of Zira's role, though who actually is the Dark One is still up in the air. Let's hear what @alexfangtalon had in mind first.

Speaking of which, I should probably start making my char(s) as well.

Wow! This idea really came alive while I was gone.

Speaking of which, @Captain Swan, if you're indeed planning to play Kovu, we probably should coordinate plans.

As some might have already noticed, Huruma is partly inspired by Yubaba from Spirited Away. I got the idea from the fact that both she and Zira were voiced by Suzanne Pleshette, where I also got the idea for twin sisters.

Anyway, one possible idea is that Huruma had a role in Ursula's curse. Basically Huruma (like Yubaba) is a witch with power over names and identities, and it's through that power that inhabitants of Storybrooke, or whatever the name of this cursed location is, gained their cursed identities. The true names of the inhabitants would be hidden somewhere in the records of the Circle of Life Resort, where only Huruma herself has access to.

Huruma still uses her knowledge of True Names to, among other things, stay in control of the Resort's employees. She also offers sanctuary from whatever might threathen those who look for work at the Spa.

Of course, it's up to you to decide what the relationship between Kovu and his aunt is.

Although... would this work work better with Zira?
I'd love to try this one.

My current character concepts aren't exactly sea related, but should adapt well to whatever plot would be appropriate.

Here's a list of characters what I've come up with so far, along with plots they'd fit best.

Roland: A baker and a single father of two. Based on Roland II from Sofia the First and the Baker from Into the Woods. Fits for a more traditional fairy tale themed plot or a meta story. Also good for a plot with a focus on wishes.

Huruma: Therian (a being that normally looks like a human, but can turn into an anthropomorphic or full animal, in this case lion. Think Wesen of Grimm) and Twin Sister of Zira. Owns a Spa that she runs with an iron fist, and broke ties to her family long before the curse. Would have a bigger role if the plot would focus on therians (something like Zootopia, Great Mouse Detective or similar) or one that focuses on politics and power.

Sora: Once a guardian of the gates between worlds, he has now grown up and become jaded. Runs a dojo. Fits a story where there is much travel between different magical realms, taking the role of Mad Hatter.

Also, I'd be happy the help with worldbuilding, if you want and it's ok with others.
