Yeah I included the MAP in it, +6 on the sling bullet, down to +1 on the frost vial. I'm just trying to squeeze this out before I collapse
Right, sorry, nephew's been sick and work's been hell
Starfinger let fly- a sling bullet going wide, but thankfully not so much so it'd put out a window or smash a lantern. However, the bomb he flung at the OTHER flashbug probably sailed a bit more true. A satisfied croak left his throat as he took another sling bullet, awaiting the movements of the critters.

"Urgh, I hate these things- the lantern part tastes like soured fish."

Well, that's an initiative roll of 7, otherwise known as "ouch."
Heading to the teacher works for me yeah
Starfinger gave a polite nod, putting the badge into his pack. The Tripkee walked along with lengthy strides, blinking frequently. Once Fleur approached, he shrugged, before giving his best estimate for her question. Sure, the green-skinned frogman wasn't 100% sure but he had a decent idea.

"The fish's scales are good ingredients for various potions and elixirs. Water breathing and such."

Then, back around to answering Elaeshor.

"My guess? Flooded ruins, or something in the river that was lost. The Mwangi does that a lot."
Sorry yall, been a rough week- school's been cancelled for the last three days, and guess who was stuck babysitting four rambunctious kids and being the comms hub for a family member in the hospital?
The chef shrugged her shoulders, looking down to Miloh.

"Well, sonny jim, it grows wild here, and every time the wind blows it scatters seeds all over. We tried getting rid of it a while back, but it grows so dang fast it was easier just to figure out what to do with it."

The food in question was some dish of meat, mushroom, honey, cabbage, and other vegetables... stuffed into an arm-sized tube of dandelion stem. Sweet and savory, it seemed that this was a dish meant to be shared. Probably a festival food, given the fact it was being prepared out in the open on a grill rather than inside in the kitchen of a restaurant or somesuch. And, of course, the stall was also selling a drink made with honey and copious amounts of mint that could be identified by the smell... about 20 paces out.

The tall and weathered stall vendor placed a length of the dish on the counter, twirled a meatcleaver in her hand, and gave a grin.

"Right! How much ya buyin' today, y'all?"
There were magical techniques for fishing, sure. Bowfishing was a long-established tradition, one Starfinger... well, didn't excel at, but he was passable with archery. However, Tripkee were accomplished hunter-gatherers. Starfinger had learned the techniques for gathering fish from his grandfather when he still had the remains of his tail! So, while it might be slower than more flashy methods, he took his time. Digging up mud at the river bank, he scooped it out with his large, webbed hands and feet. The hole steadily grew, filling with clean water from the river. Then, two large flat rocks in the river, tilted toward the pool. When the wind picked up, or the river surged just a bit, the water would spill over- and often bring a fish with it. Starfinger sat patiently, watching a few fish steadily filter in. Of course, the largest fish would get tossed back- only taking the big ones would make the fish get smaller over time. The smaller ones weren't really good for alchemical purposes OR eating. Which left him with a few medium-sized fish.
