Name: Shannon Forsyth
Sex: Female
Age: 19
Ethnic: Half British, quarter Chinese and Japanese.
Personality: Carefree, un-strategically opinionated, and mostly unmotivated, Shannon’s personality seems to be on the opposite spectrum of her older sister. Prone to unfiltered, off-hand speech, her behavior is uncharacteristic of her upbringing. She is a person that rides on the coattails of the success of her father and sister and is seen as the boat-anchor of the family. Similar to her sister, she is flippant and abrasive at times, especially when challenged.
She’s not much of a social person, preferring to stay out of large events or gatherings and stick to engaging a few friends or doing solitary activities. Shannon is not anti-social though; she does put up some manner of effort in social gatherings, but it leaves her exhausted at the end of the day. In the end, she doesn’t seem to have much of a direction in her life, although she has begun to develop a keen interest in history and archeology.
Background/History: Shannon was the product of the executive and owner of an international energy corporation and an Oxford professor. Born in London, she was the second child of the family, behind her older sister, Iphigenia. Her parents were often absent, and as time progressed and her career advanced, her sister too. Staying at a nice chateau in France or a grand manor in England, she lived a pampered lifestyle filled with many butlers and maids. When her sister went off to a place named Ravenwood High School in America, Shannon stayed in London, in a private school, receiving average grades and for the most part living an average (upper class) life. For the most part, she enjoyed life, drinking tea, eating biscuits, reading books, all under a sunny gazebo and all those picturesque European things that travel brochures show you when you want to go on a vacation to England or France.
In the end, she ended up doing a bunch of study abroad things, such as going to school in Japan for a semester because of weeb things, having an academic stint in Switzerland because
chocolate, and finally finishing her high school career in New York, where she picked up an interest in the historical society there. It was there that she got her interest for history. After flying back to London and getting her mother to pull some strings at her institution, she got into Oxford, where she proceeded to do abysmally in all her classes except the ones she was interested in. Go figure.
Then, of course, Grimoire of the Rift things happened.
Goal/Desires: If Shannon said she’d want to fondle a bunch of particularly old rocks, how would you react?
Powers: Revision: Shannon has the ability to make a modification to an existing entity. She can make minor improvements to objects in the form of minor buffs, or more uniquely, restore the physical state of them if they were damaged or modified. This can also be applied to living beings in the form of repairing wounds, but like objects, is limited by complexity.
Reversion: Similar in name but of the opposite effect, reversion will take apart a physical, non-living object to pieces. On touch, a wooden table falls apart to become planks and nails; a dress will unravel to become thread, thread, and more thread; et cetera. She can apply this to some magical constructs as well. But the more grand, complex, or powerful the object, the longer it takes for her powers to undo a target. Something simple such as the mentioned items would take fractions of a second, but dismantling a magical barrier or taking a lock to pieces would take a more extended amount of time.
Equipment/Inventory: Cellphone, headphones, penknife, wallet with paper money and cards, plastic name tag, pencil & clipboard, dead laptop.
