Are Medusa's body hairs actually just tiny snakes?
Bio
I'm a sucker for romance, sci fi, fantasy and just about any modern city with a twist like monster hunting or super powers. Been writing for years, I didn't learn how to read till I was 12 so the moment I got the hang of it, I could not stop. Filling journals with stories one after the other, my younger sister eventually got me into role playing and it created a monster. I will play with you all day if you reply, post for post and will give you as much detail as I can.
Characters
Name:Aurora Lorell
Quote:"One should never fear the dark. Just enjoy the light you have left."
Alias: Nevermore Age: 24 Gender: female Notoriety: Missing Level: yellow Family: Father: Rick Lorell, Mother: Sarah Lorell Occupation: Horse trainer and retired Olympic rider.
Appearance:
Aurora is seen to be a beauty. With a lean build and fair skin standing in at around 5,2. Her eyes are what really set her apart besides the snowy form. Red and clouded as though in a veil of mist she almost always keeps them closed due to being bullied as a child. Many saying they are unnerving to look at.
Method of Operation: No one knows that its truly her. Those that have gained her help have only seen the creatures that she calls forth. Usually beasts from mythology that have few features. If shes forced to be seen she stays silent, trying to keep her age and gender a secret. If anyone found out who she was, the world would find out everything about her in minutes. Instead she uses her tour as a way to keep her location foggy. Being a world and Olympic rider, she has been to all corners of the world. Each one earning a job or two from her. Her method of transportation is a horse she had conjured herself, what she sees as the only link one could give her. Still she reminds herself that she should never get involved with things too big, but the chance to use her abilities has always been too tempting.
Superpower: Aurora has the ability to conjure beasts from stories she has read or been told. Using a leather bound journal as a catalyst to recite the right lines to call forth her companions. She found that the larger impact a story holds to her, the easier it is to call her creatures. Though strange enough she has found that it is more difficult to create that which is already in this world. Being able to make a wraith she has massive difficult in creating a bird. Many would think this ability is limitless. Sadly Aurora must read or hear the tale in which her conjure is being made from. Even than she can't always make them unless it had a impact on her in some way. Because of this she has a habit of asking others for stories. Any kind hoping that she could advance her abilities further. Her biggest weakness is that this only works when she has a sound mind and when the book is open. Growing up taming thousand pound animals has made her difficult to frighten. But if she falls pray to fear, the companions she had called would turn on her. If her book is closed her train of thought would break, causing the creatures to disperse and leave her side.
Skills: an amazing horse back rider, her hearing is better than most. Memory is above average. Shes been told that her voice is rather calming due to her nature. Shes also had a good chance of catching a lie so long as it's spoken.
Equipment: Book of tales.
Every story is written in Braille. Because of this she keeps it hidden from view and no one has yet to look through it's pages. If someone found out what was inside than the trail would be short in finding out that Aurora is the owner.
Personality: Aurora is a seeker of knowledge. Someone who needs to know things small and large. Heavy and light. This was due to the fact that she was born blind, growing up with being sheltered and lead around she found herself growing tired of the treatment quickly. Even though she would have a pilot smile when someone offers to take her hand or tell her where something is, she would find herself loathing on the inside. Wanting to be as independent as she can be. Pushing herself to be better at what she dose to prove to those around her that she dose not need her eyes in order to live her life. She thinks that many who help her do it not for herself, but so they could feel better. Thinking that they would be a hero for a small moment, she can not stand the thought of being a tool used in someone's self need to feel important. And thus it has only added to her independence.
Yet even with the quite demands of independence, Aurora is a calming presence. Soft spoken shes not one to raise her voice. When it comes to her friends, she is usually the one to end a fight with words alone. Comforting others when they are in need not using sayings of encouragement, but sitting at their side in silence. She had an interesting habit though. When in good company she tends to speak in riddles, thinking that it's due to the stories she obsesses over, she tries her best to keep it under wraps. Even so, those who she calls friends will tell her she slipped back into her odd way of speaking. Her greatest fear is being in absolute silence, she also tends to tap her finger on her cane. Sound is her greatest asset and without it she turns into a shell of her usual self. Fumbling over words and sometimes not able to use her powers safely.
Biography: Aurora was born into the business of horses. Her father a trick rider and her mother a cross country racer, the two were a power house in the equestrian world. Before she was even born they were getting her ready with what style and what horse she would ride, only for their dreams to be crushed when they saw her for the first time. A tiny albino who's retinas never even developed leaving her blind.
Yet that did not stop the girl from living up to her family's potential. She became connected with the animals that her family made a living from. Every fall she went through, she would stand from, no injury would ever scare her away. The feeling of power a horse would give was too great to leave. Where in any other situation she would be led around and treated like a child. In the arena she was expected to handle things herself and for once she herself could be the leader. At age six she was competing in not only trick riding, but cross country and dressage. Having a love for the stories that her mother would read her. Aurora began to print Braille in her own journal, often reading them out loud to her horse. After all, he was the only one that could deal with a 13 year old speaking for hours at a time. Sleeping in the stalls with her books clutched in hand the journal only grew thicker, and heavier. Till eventually the words she recited caused the animal to spook. Thrashing in the box and causing her to scramble out, screams of rage and fear ringing through the stable. Before she knew it her parents were at her side, asking her what was wrong yet whatever had caused the damage was gone. Again and again it had happened, each time with her reading. Its taken her two full months to find out that the cause of her horse’s spooking was the conjuration of creatures from her own words. Her own abilities.
Another idea that she could gain independence she began to work. Conducting experiments to figure out the rights and wrongs of her abilities. Its taken her years to find things out on her own. By the time she was 17 she was a competitor in the Olympics. Finally a chance where she was away from those who thought she needed them. All she needed was her book and her cane. Once walking through the stable halls at night. Checking her companion to make sure their first run in the Olympics would be fine. Yet as she opened the door she found something was wrong. Her stallion named Beauty in a Shadow, was gone.
Her first thought was to contact the security to find him. Fear gripping her mind she could still remember the sweat that ran down her palms as she gripped her cane. Yet when she clicked it on the stone ground she made up her mind. Her book in hand she ran her finger across the pages. "With eyes made for night, and fire as fierce as a devil's light. He tracked down hunters of his land. And made them swear he could never stand." The sound of light feet pattering next to her she found a smile on her lips when the sound of a ragged fox was found at her side. To her eyes there was blank. Yet to anyone who saw it was a fox with two tails, told in Japanese lore to be the devil in a different skin, with eyes of lit green and a scroll strapped to it's back. "Find Beauty." It was all she said, and it was all she needed to. That night she took matters into her own hands as the fox lead her through the halls. Away from the stable and out to the parking lot to hear the half drugged screams of her stallion.
That night something snapped, she no longer used her abilities to gain a smile, as she called forth a crimson wraith from the tale "a wife in the bog." The gut wrenching shrieks and screams rang true to her ears. the creature she chosen playing on their fear, having them see a different story as it led them away, leaving her stallion. Yet her story, while seeming to end at a good note. Her stallion back in safety and ready to ride again. The next morning she found herself plastered in headlines, she had been accused of being a variant right before she road into the arena. By the very humans who tried to steal her companion.
She left after that, the heart warming tale of Aurora Lorell that was supposed to end in happiness was forever marred with slander. She left her home that same week, taking her savings and her reputation to find a place that would somehow accept her. It was a man named Damion who became her salvation. He had property for horses and knew nothing of them, or cared for them. She had passion and a wish for a new place to stay. Fallen from grace, Aurora now runs Beauty ranch. She keeps her head down and work professional, training horses that seem untouchable. Yet even with this new start that she still embraces at age 24, she finds herself still heart broken over the family that she left behind. Wanting nothing more than to be thought of as human again. A wish so great that she refuses to ever show her ability to anyone again. That is unless she has her mask, some things you just can't give up.

Extra:
A friesian stallion who she named Loki as a barn name he was registered as Beauty in Shadow.
Personality: A quiet soul who files down his horns and keeps a hood over his head. Tasar is someone who usually keeps to himself when it comes to relationships of any kind. But helping a stranger in need he'll do without a word. A kind spirit and extremely knowledgeable in the art of survival, his voice barely rises above a soft tone as though he is trying not to scare anyone away. He can be awkward at times though, with such a cross in species nobles have often tried to gain him in their company. Standing almost 6 ft with elven features and stunning eyes caused him to be the focus of very unwanted attention.
Other: He's a ranger of sorts, the ability to survive on his own in the wilds for lifetimes was gained from childhood. And due to some unknown history, he has an extensive knowledge in not dragon history or lore, but in their make up. How they live and thrive as though they were on the same level as a Hert.
Personality: A powerful creature and one who wears her heritage with pride. Holding her head up high the woman is seen to be an intimidating sight. Standing at a head taller than most males, with a gaze that would silence most cocky attitude. She's cut throat, one who works till the job is done and has determination for her own values that would cause some to think she had Dwarven blood in her veins at one point. She'll lay her life down for another without a second thought. Though she has met few that could best her in battle when she's armed.
Other: Like Tasar, Xathina knows more about dragons than most and is extremely tight lipped as to why.

History
Reena grew up in a very loving family. The Durian's owning almost 60 acers of land, they turned it into a whildlife scantuary and reabilitation centre, stationed in the high pass. It was a child's dream, every day she would get to see birds of prey, wolves, big cats, even lions tigers and bears that were taken from illegal trading. It was hard work, her mother would show her how to feed them and there was a million ways to punish a unruly child in such a place. Her parents dotted on her as she was a only child, thinking she would take over the trade due to her absolute passion for animals. She took to horse back riding when she was only four years old, and she would often be seen talking to whatever new beast had been taken in.
When she was five years old however, a storm had swept through Washington. Being so high up, the winds seemed to want to sweep her off the ground as the staff was scrambling to get everything secure and move the animals into the barn. Her father has herded her inside their home, giving her the demand to stay with her dog. The house creaked and thunder boomed, drowning out the yelling when Reena remembered that her horse Roxi had not been fed and that she needed to take care of her. With the naive child determination and her rotwhiler's whimpering, Reena pulled on her pink raincoat and marched out into the pestering rain. No one saw her enter the barn to see her beloved mare, as she was dragging over a flake of hay like it was just another day. The wind had taken it's tool on the barn however, pushing and pulling the old beams until the support buckled and the roof caved in on top of them. Roxi had to be put down, and Reena woke up days later, unable to fee her legs.
Life was very hard for the girl after that. Her cheery loud and demanding personality shifted into a reserved and quiet child. Her head down as she would push through the day, her only comfort was the animals that would lick and nuzzle her, it was always enough to bring a smile to her face. But after the death of her horse, she stopped competing, barely able to ride now without being tied down. Still, her parents were determined to give her a better life and got her into music. Anything to give her confidence, and bit by bit, she broke out of her shell, only to fall back into it when faced with a stranger. She still worked the sanctuary as hard as she could, even taking in a large wolf that was caught roaming the area. Most thinking it should be put down due to how wild the beast was, yet she found a fondness for it, always careful enough to not get bitten.
It was in the middle of the night when she wheeled out to go feed that very wolf that things changed. Meat in hand, she was putting it in the slider when she heard the most vicious sounds of crunching bones and tearing hides. Her eyes wide, she tried her best to get away only to be cornered by a team of werewolf hunters. It only took one to be hungry for her to be found by an old man in the middle of nowhere. Her chair a twisted mess back home while Reena herself was alone, scared and confused.
The man wasn't the one who changed her. A doctor who smelled blood and realized that she was unfairly turned only for her sire to run and leave her her crazed wilds. One of the old mares back home drained of blood, while she hid in a hallowed tree in tears, trying to figure out why she was there or how she got there. It took a long time to coax her out, even longer for him to convince her that she could actually stand on her own. Disbelief and awe was what she was met with, for the first time in a decade, she could stand. He took her in right than and there, promising that if she learned how to control herself, she could one day return to her family. Sending someone to gather her things, Reena found herself being shipped off to the night school, and being thrown in a world she never knew existed.

Advice To The World:If someone takes something from you, make something better. Anything Else: She plays the cello, and has a fear of storms
You are more than welcome to apply! And its okay you have not played yet and still need to learn. Monster hunter is a pain for new players to jump into so its actually normal for people who been playing to explain things to beginners. I'll be putting up lists of what the monsters are and armour sets in the near future as well to give you a hand.
But if you want a video guide to see how everything works try pro Jarad, guy is a master at this game. youtube.com/watch?v=i6iYOHaGGKk
Note, that you can alter what is here. But these are the basic ideas of armour that is started. This list will change when you guys kill more monsters and see what kind of armour can be made out of them. you don't have to change into them though.
Huh? What do you lot want? Armour? Weapons? Well ya got to go and bring me the materials. Go out and kill some beasts will ya? Till than this here is all I got so no complaining. You want to decorate em thats on your own time.
Blade master, all iron, bit on the heavy side but if your swinging anything but duel blades than it can save your shoulder.
Leather huh? Not great for much but insect killing and running away. Guess its good when you go out scavenging for materials.
Chain mail, found this guy in the back. Came from one of those knights in the cities that thought they could take on Moga woods. Don't be like him aright. Works well with a sword and shield combo.
Bnahabra armour, classy yes, makes you as light as a Bnahabra, but how on earth could you deal with all the bug guts needed to make that? oh well, least you can say you killed what your wearing now.
Gunner armour? So a shooter huh? Well its the safest place, away from the chaos.
Great swords are the largest of the hunting weapons. Easily the size of the user if not bigger and can be made from the skull, spine or in some rarer cases, teeth of a monster. Extremely slow they are used for the ones that posses the strength of a monster. But using one means you might not want to fight alone for you are the power house. The tank to hide behind. A side note of the great sword is that you can accidentally or purposely launch another hunter so be careful!
Not as heavy as the great sword a long sword is still around 6-8 feet in length. Range to keep everything from you but your weakness is that once a smaller monster gets through your range you no longer have the edge with that blade.
The heart of a knight beats strong within these fighters. Dose not deal nearly as much damage, but do not be discouraged. The sword and shield is so light that you can cover for the big guns while having a shield to protect yourself from forceful blasts. Be light on your feet but don't worry, you can mess up once in a while with that shield. Stabbing is the best use for this weapon.
made for the quick, the agile and the acrobatic. Those who master the duel blades are seen running right into the chaos and rolling under the bellies of monsters. They can't take a hit as well as their comrades, but when a monster is down they are seen as the fastest at dealing damage. Two blade in hand you can constantly attack and not get worn out as fast but it will be smaller damage blow for blow. Dodging is their best friend.
The bigger the badder. Hammers are not made for slicing, but for the crushing of bones, great for slowing down a monster to keep them from running away they are sometimes seen as being used as a shield by veteran hunters. Your going to want a buddy to help you cut through the hide but not many can deal with a blow from you.
Not as heavy or as damaging as the hammer the hunting horn is still seen as a weapon the is perfect for the field. Having few notes its not only used to take down monsters but with a god pair of lungs you can use its sound to attract hem right to you.
long weapons that can strike from a distance. The Lance is always accompanied by a large shield which grants a powerful defense against most attacks. Although slow and difficult to travel with, the weapon's damage output can be considerable. Those who are trained with the lance are seen to sometimes use it to launch themselves in the air.
also known as GL, are long, piercing weapons with a mechanism inside which can fire an explosive round. Unlike Bowguns, the Gunlance cannot fire over distances; the Shelling ability can only be used from close range and reduces the weapon's sharpness with every use. Gunlances attack with a combination of simple stabs and explosive shots, which can link together in combos. Fortunately, Gunlances have an infinite amount of shells, although they have to be regularly reloaded. Gunlances are also able to charge up and unleash a strong explosive attack, known as Wyvern's Fire. This attack dramatically reduces Sharpness, however, and it takes a while to cool down before it can be used again due to overheating. Trying to do so again before it cools can cause the inside to melt and be unusable.
Its a Axe, its a sword! No its a switch axe! This weapon are for hunters who loved the cutting edge of a blade and the broadness of a axe so much that they had to take both. The blade of the axe can sink down and turn into a sword with a simple mechanism inside. The sword is faster than the axe and can pierce hides while the axe has a much wider range. Be careful though, only master hunters are skilled enough to easily switch the blades in a blink when fighting.
This double-ended rod is capable of quick, fluid attacks (like the Long Sword) and allows the hunter to jump at any time in a pole-vaulting fashion. It also is capable of summoning a Kinsect and using it to attack monsters. After locking on to a target using the projectiles that the rod can shoot, the user can freely send their Kinsect to attack the target and drain energy from it, then call it back after in order to boost the Hunter. The kinsect is always found on the arm on the hunter when not in use as a constant companion.
light blow guns are ranged weapons. As the name suggests, they are light enough to allow Hunters to run with the weapon drawn, and they can be sheathed and unsheathed very quickly. However, Light Bowguns are generally low in attack power, although this is partially compensated by different Light Bowguns being able to Rapid-Fire a specific Ammo. Blow guns come in the styles of light, medium and heavy, heavy being unable to run while carrying in hand but has the most power.
Bows are the lightest range weapon, trained hunters able to fire multiple arrows at a time to land in the tops or monsters they are great to offer support. Hunters have even found ways to make arrows explosive like the blow gun but the firing rate relies on the hunter's ability to pull back the string. It would be a wise idea to go hunting with a knife as well in case a monster gets too close.
This is your monster handbook. It may look like there are not a whole lot of monsters out there right now, but thats because you need to go out and discover them yourself.
Felynes are recognized by their white fur and have the ability to talk in human language, and can be found both in human villages and in the wild. They perform a small variety of jobs in villages, from shopkeeping to farm maintenance, but most notably they may work under a hunter as Felyne Chefs or Felyne Comrades. Felyne Chefs cook food for their hunters to support them in their adventures,
Wild Melynx appear in groups and, when they spot a hunter in their area, they attempt to steal items. Once they obtain an item, they run away and dig underground, never to be encountered again. The stolen items do mysteriously appear in a base that moves location to location.
Kelbi are peaceful creatures. Coming in blue and green they are known for having large horns that can grow to impressive lengths for their small bodies. these horns have been used is most medicine and have been the cure to many illness that can be found in both monster and human.
Aptonoth are cow-like creatures with leathery gray skin. They have black stripes along their backs and a head reminiscent of a Hadrosaur. They have a large, two-pronged crest protruding from their heads and a flat, spiked tail. These docile creatures are hunted for their meat by humans and other monsters. They always travel in groups. When one Aptonoth is threatened, others will run away for safety, but sometimes the alpha male of the Aptonoth will attempt to fight back before fleeing himself.
While Jaggi are carnivorous, aggressive and agile they are still a target for novice hunters. Vocalizing warnings for long periods of time they are left open to attack when first encountered. Good at jumping long distances Jaggi are seen to be formed in packs and scavenge. Its the great Jaggi that hunters need to worry about when first starting out. More than three times the size of a normal jaggi Great Jaggi act as a pack leader. Vocalizing just like their smaller pack members, instead of warning they are calling more jaggi in the surrounding area. Their tail is able to break the backs of a new hunter and would need to be prepared when hunting them for the first time.

We are the weak, sharing the world with beasts that seem to hold the power of gods. Nightmares that rule the skies, terrors that own the sea and rampage the land. lagiacrus, Ludroth, brachydios, the list will always go on and there seems to be no end in sight. There is no other way but to live with these creatures that share our home. Living in fear day by day thinking that it may be our last humans hide in the shelters in their towns that can be taken down by the magnitude of monsters that seem to be worlds away.
Yet all is not lost. Where in the links of the weak, their lie those who stand strong. Hunters, with weapons crafted of fallen foes and armour glistening with victory they stand as our protectors. They stand as those who will go against the will of beasts who's size can not be fathomed until seen. There are Tamers, those who live with the beasts and keep their lives on the line for any wrong move made will be the end of a bond and their lives. Guilds formed, friendships created. Hunters are here and they will always be here. But they do not live forever, where the great make their stead they must step down, handing their legacy to a new generation of those who will take their place. Those who will make their guild great and start their journey as they once have done long ago.
Welcome to monster hunter! Where you play as a hunter and rise your name or your guild's. Make friends, rivals, and try your best to stay alive. From gathering resources to keep villages stocked to taking out the largest most dangerous beasts that are terrorizing your home the life of a hunter is never easy and their job is never done.
Yes I know I don't like em ether but a guild of trained brutes that kill dragons for a living needs to have some control.
1: No god modding No controlling another player's character unless they have given you permission that you can prove has happened.
2: No op You can't just start the game with brachydios armour while everyone else has Jaggi weapons. It makes everything lop sided and if you played monster hunter than you should know one of the things that make it stand out is how much work you put into getting better yourself with no levelling. Don't take away from the fun.
3: Dice plays a small part here. When you go on Jobs I will role a d20 and based on that I will tell you how rare your loot is or if you succeed or not. The entire game is not based around dice, just the job portion of it. Everything else is 100% under your control.
4: You can die Dead serious, if you decide to go out on a job by yourself that is beyond your ability I will role a d20 and if its below 5 than you're dead. This is not for every job, just if you decide to do something stupid.
5: You can have more than one character. If you die but want to continue than bring in a new character. If you want two at a time your going to have to convince me but I will allow some to control more than one at the same time depending on how many players.
6: Not a first come first serve Give your character life. A story, a goal, make him or her feel real and be proud of them. I don't want something just thrown in here so I might turn you away if someone after you has clearly put in more work for their character. Make someone you would be proud to call your own.
7: Have fun! This is a game of adventure. Of challenge and cooperation. Anything can happen, test the boundaries, take risks, make friend, alliances, go on a adventure and lets make this a tale that kicks ass!

@Gurren1 Hands in her pockets she turned on her heel, walking backwards as she spoke. "I'll be at the Taverns outside of settlements. Just ask for Eden." The fact that he called her a few, interesting insults, shes been called some horrid things, but never so clunky and clumsily spoken. "Work on your speech when you want to call me male."
The woman was fast in moving, her footprints light and leaving almost no tracks, The moves of a huntress as she made her way miles across the abandoned towns and camps. Looking through trash, cars and buildings and picking up random objects that looked to be something that Aurora could use in the future.
Coming to a hand made steel shack and garage the sound of turrent guns graced her ears. "Hey Chase..you here?" Her voice raspy she growled to herself, walking past the machines. Crouching in her hired guards resting spot only to swear under her breath. Looking back and forth she clicked her tounge, her ears sinking in she brought her scope to her gaze, looking around for a full minute before lowering it back down. "I'm loosing it.." Shrugging her shoulder the woman entered in a code, opening the locked door as she called for her sister. "Aurora, I'm home, found some gum..you hungry at..." Looking around she took a step inside. "Aurora....Aurora!" Frantic footsteps were heard inside the door that was left open. The room was the perfect place for someone with a handicap, the outside was paved, the shelves were lower and everything in reach of a chair, a bar going throughout the walls encase her sister fell. But her sister was not here.
A suit of power amour sat, machines decorating the walls, the floor littered with prints and plans yet the mind was not here. "Aurora! Auora!" She was already looking around, trying to find something, anything that would get her a sign and allow her to track her sister. Already she was outside, looking at Chases spot to find that his Bhraman was gone and so was her chair. "You son of a bitch." Her breathing laboured she turned her head like a wild animal, her eyes narrowed. Shoulders back as she took out her riffle. Something was not right besides her sister not being here. Her gut telling her not act she looked ready to kill. "Whoever you are, come out, and tell me where she is."
Aurora had never been out of her sight. She always knew were the red head was and now for the first time since they were kids she was gone. She must have been scared, lost, hurt even, every single thought going through her head caused the woman's mind to go more and more frightened.
The sounds of cars over city streets rang through the air, not a thing was still over the glistening lights and excited chatter. People dressed to impress anyone's expectations of the Kalos region with spoiled pokemon at their side. Movie stars going over the grand billboards to show case a new show. It was loud, and it was perfect.
"Oh wow, so what you say Amate? Think we can do something worth while to tell the fam?" The sound of clicking hooves echoed with her words. People moving out of the way as a red head riding on the back of a towering rapidash came forward. His neck arched and body nothing but muscle yet his gate was elegant with pride. A snort was given in response, reaching down to pat the stallion's neck Lokota gave a smile, using her right leg to turn her companion down the street only to pass someone who could have been seen a mile away. Dressed in pinks and surrounded by others looking on in awe, Lakota found herself raising a brow in curiosity. "Wonder what the big idea is." Passing by without a thought she felt Amate begin to shy away, his steps becoming higher in a prance as he tossed his head in disagreement. "Easy boy, come on its just a crowd." Hes never had problems with crowds before, so, with a kick of her legs she asked the Rapidash to continue, "come on boy the park is up ahead."
Yet Amate was not having it, her companion giving a small screech she found the ground rise as he took to his back legs in a rear. Tossing his head as flames licked the air, instincts kicking in Lakota hung on with ease, holding the chest harness and hugging his sides with her legs till he came back down. A nervous laugh escaping her the red head began to apologize with the horse beneath her pawing at the ground, turning his head from side to side till she spoke. "Thats enough, come on Amate your being a dork, calm down okay?"
All she had to do was pat his neck, Amate turning his head to see her she reached on and ruffled the space between his ears, his flames feeling more like a blanket than anything. Gaze falling to the crowd she smiled, "sorry guys, he was just having a temper tantrum is all, new here and all that."
Amate only snorted again, looking over at the tables he slapped his lips, ears twitching as he began to act up again causing the rider to want to slam her head against something. The smell of sweets lingered to their noses and it only made the stallion stomp his hoof in patients. "I get it, I get it okay your hungry, sorry bud I didn't notice."
I can see where your coming from. The main reason why I wanted him to be a rapidash is because trick riding can't be done on smaller creatures. Its actually made around real trick riding, I been a competitor for years in it and after looking up to find that Ponyta was only 13 hands. (Pony) I realized that was way too small for Lakota to be able to do anything accept ride or she could disjoint him in the future. Its why I threw in the idea that hes a pretty big rapidash, heavy enough to not become lopsided with a rider hanging out in the air sideways while hes galloping.
Hmmm, maybe he could be a bit difficult to battle with? Like while starters know how to fight hes only been used for trick riding and would still have to learn? (Just realized that you said I shouldn’t change him XD)
Name:Aurora Lorell
Quote:"One should never fear the dark. Just enjoy the light you have left."
Alias: Nevermore
Age: 24
Gender: female
Notoriety: Missing
Level: yellow
Family: Father: Rick Lorell, Mother: Sarah Lorell
Occupation: Horse trainer and retired Olympic rider.

Personality:
A quiet soul who files down his horns and keeps a hood over his head.
Other:
He's a ranger of sorts, the ability to survive on his own in the wilds for lifetimes was gained from childhood. And due to some unknown history, he has an extensive knowledge in not dragon history or lore, but in their make up. How they live and thrive as though they were on the same level as a Hert.

Personality:
A powerful creature and one who wears her heritage with pride.
While her hair is what people say are her most striking appearance, thick red hair that curls down her back, only to frame a pair of warm grey eyes. She's often been told that she needs to grow a back bone though, shying away and going without just to avoid confrontation. A soft spoken voice and often times being taken advantage of due to her throat locking up whenever she tries to defend herself. Even so, she is still very warm to those around her, offering advice when she can, and not being turned away from a outburst. Her family often worries that her nature would get her into trouble one day, far too trusting, and a little too easy going. She still looks at everything with a more optimist view, thinking that if she is patient enough, anyone could warm up.

<br><br>Yet even with the quite demands of independence, Aurora is a calming presence. Soft spoken shes not one to raise her voice. When it comes to her friends, she is usually the one to end a fight with words alone. Comforting others when they are in need not using sayings of encouragement, but sitting at their side in silence. <br>She had an interesting habit though. When in good company she tends to speak in riddles, thinking that it's due to the stories she obsesses over, she tries her best to keep it under wraps. Even so, those who she calls friends will tell her she slipped back into her odd way of speaking. <br>Her greatest fear is being in absolute silence, she also tends to tap her finger on her cane. Sound is her greatest asset and without it she turns into a shell of her usual self. Fumbling over words and sometimes not able to use her powers safely. <br><br>Biography: Aurora was born into the business of horses. <br><br>Yet that did not stop the girl from living up to her family's potential. <br>Having a love for the stories that her mother would read her. Thrashing in the box and causing her to scramble out, screams of rage and fear ringing through the stable.<br>Before she knew it her parents were at her side, asking her what was wrong yet whatever had caused the damage was gone. Again and again it had happened, each time with her reading. Its taken her two full months to find out that the cause of her horse’s spooking was the conjuration of creatures from her own words.<br>Her own abilities.<br><br>Another idea that she could gain independence she began to work. <br>Her stallion named Beauty in a Shadow, was gone. <br><br>Her first thought was to contact the security to find him. Away from the stable and out to the parking lot to hear the half drugged screams of her stallion.<br><br>That night something snapped, she no longer used her abilities to gain a smile, as she called forth a crimson wraith from the tale "a wife in the bog." The gut wrenching shrieks and screams rang true to her ears. the creature she chosen playing on their fear, having them see a different story as it led them away, leaving her stallion.<br>Yet her story, while seeming to end at a good note. Her stallion back in safety and ready to ride again. The next morning she found herself plastered in headlines, she had been accused of being a variant right before she road into the arena. By the very humans who tried to steal her companion. <br><br>She left after that, the heart warming tale of Aurora Lorell that was supposed to end in happiness was forever marred with slander. She left her home that same week, taking her savings and her reputation to find a place that would somehow accept her. It was a man named Damion who became her salvation. He had property for horses and knew nothing of them, or cared for them. She had passion and a wish for a new place to stay. <br>Fallen from grace, Aurora now runs Beauty ranch. <br>That is unless she has her mask, some things you just can't give up. <br><br>Theme outside of battle: <iframe src="//youtube.com/embed/b4CjB-7IT4o?theme=dark" frameborder="0" width="496" height="279" allowfullscreen></iframe><br>battle theme: <iframe src="//youtube.com/embed/k5X0v7h5kWQ?theme=dark" frameborder="0" width="496" height="279" allowfullscreen></iframe><br><br>Extra:<div class="hider-panel"><div class="hider-heading"><button type="button" class="btn btn-default btn-xs hider-button" data-name="Beauty in Shadow">Beauty in Shadow [+]</button></div><div class="hider-body" style="display: none"><img src="https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/3e/1c/0d/3e1c0defac08c0fcb7d9dd6bd8c60a5f.jpg" />A friesian stallion who she named Loki as a barn name he was registered as Beauty in Shadow.</div></div></div></div><br><br><div class="hider-panel"><div class="hider-heading"><button type="button" class="btn btn-default btn-xs hider-button" data-name=" Tasar"> Tasar [+]</button></div><div class="hider-body" style="display: none">Name: Tasar<br>Age: Unknown<br>Sex: Male<br>Race: Qunari Elf hybrid <br>Appearance: <br><div class="hider-panel"><div class="hider-heading"><button type="button" class="btn btn-default btn-xs hider-button" data-name="Hider">Hider [+]</button></div><div class="hider-body" style="display: none"><img src="https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/564x/4b/d3/32/4bd332a06a30d1aa66df11a40afde508.jpg" /></div></div><br><br><div class="hider-panel"><div class="hider-heading"><button type="button" class="btn btn-default btn-xs hider-button" data-name="my art of meh boi">my art of meh boi [+]</button></div><div class="hider-body" style="display: none">All of these are drawn by me.<br><img src="https://scontent.fsnc1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/30712112_1900405190009533_696127335484571326_n.jpg?_nc_cat=0&oh=3c86c0d54ac6427b5b17ba2c1be9adec&oe=5B65CDC7" /> <br><img src="https://scontent.fsnc1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-0/p206x206/30705783_1900405506676168_2288599929610529108_n.jpg?_nc_cat=0&oh=73efff5032d949d8129758e42811f6cc&oe=5B7542EB" /></div></div><br><br>Personality: <br>A quiet soul who files down his horns and keeps a hood over his head. She took to horse back riding when she was only four years old, and she would often be seen talking to whatever new beast had been taken in.<br><br>When she was five years old however, a storm had swept through Washington. Roxi had to be put down, and Reena woke up days later, unable to fee her legs.<br><br>Life was very hard for the girl after that. <br><br>It was in the middle of the night when she wheeled out to go feed that very wolf that things changed. <br><br>The man wasn't the one who changed her. Sending someone to gather her things, Reena found herself being shipped off to the night school, and being thrown in a world she never knew existed.</span><br><br><div class="bb-center"><img src="" /></div><div class="bb-h3"><span class="bb-b"><span class="bb-i"><font color="#6ecff6"><div class="bb-center">Extras</div></font></span></span></div><br> <span class="bb-b"><font color="#6ecff6">Advice To The World:If someone takes something from you, make something better.</font></span><br><span class="bb-b"><font color="#6ecff6">Anything Else: She plays the cello, and has a fear of storms</font></span></div></div><br><br></div>
