Are Medusa's body hairs actually just tiny snakes?

Bio

I'm a sucker for romance, sci fi, fantasy and just about any modern city with a twist like monster hunting or super powers. Been writing for years, I didn't learn how to read till I was 12 so the moment I got the hang of it, I could not stop. Filling journals with stories one after the other, my younger sister eventually got me into role playing and it created a monster. I will play with you all day if you reply, post for post and will give you as much detail as I can.

Hearing a voice booming down the hall Reema looked up, a knife still in hand and skin stained a dark pink from the blood she grabbed a towel, cleaning off her arms as she stood. Might as well help the guy, couldn't afford to have their tank fall apart on them during a hunt. That would be a sheer nightmare.
"Hold on a sec Jacque, I got one." Walking down the halls hands in her loose pockets she felt herself feeling strange. Maybe it was the new area and she wore her armour everywhere or maybe it was the sea air but each step was uneasy. Shrugging her shoulders she brushed the thought away. They just came back from a hunt thats all.
"Well than seems you got hurt the most. You holding together?" She couldn't help but notice the wound, first time she seen it since its not buried under armour. Her own arms showing a few scratches and bite marks in the joints where her armour was. Yet that was nothing compared to the wounds on her comrades shoulder.
Going to her door she opened it to the room. Rummaging through her bag to find the wetstone that was given to her last night. Holding it out to the male she tilted her head. "By the way, anything you wanted from the kill aside from the head? I'm cleaning everything off it right now, don't want anything to rot."

The cooling winds of endless frost, the sky open to all. Tis a land that had sharpened us into warriors, to sharpen our lives so that we can be the strongest of lands. We do not bask in the sun of Elsewhere, nor do we bathe in the riches of Tamriel. We are the ones who huddle by the fire against the howling winds and nipping snow. We are the ones who have to stand tall in the face of war, to fight for our freedom. Nords against each other while they snap at the elves and Kajit. This is a land not for the weak, but for us. And though it may not be perfect, its ours, and we call it home.

The land of skyrim has many options and twists and turns that one can follow. From the Imperial legion and storm cloaks fighting for their values. To the Dark brotherhood picking from the shadows. The knowledge of the collage of winterhold, to the fallen Blades. there is a place for everyone. And it is up to you to find where you belong under this dragon filled sky.

its fine hun, things like that happen.

"Nick? A nice name, it makes you click your tounge when you say it." Iris giving a small smile she sat down, crossing her legs and putting both hands on her cane in front of her. Siris signing into the knuckles. "He says that ours are called the Tweedles. Some reason we both can hear them, meaning that we hear both sides of their arguments as well."

"We don't argue"
"We just have different views"
"On things like life"
"And tea"
"And time"
"And who is the better looking thing."

Running her head Iris looked up when she heard Nick ask who would name themselves mad. " Someone who has parents that name their daughter Iris cause her pupils are silver and give her brother a matching name." With the words spoke she opened her eyes and sure enough they were. Silver pupils with and icy clouded over layer to seem as though they were shrouded in mist. She counted a few moments before closing them again.

"On the actual topic in old European times Hatters used Mercury to finish their trade. But they would befall to poisoning from sucking the toxin from their brushes and turn mad. Thus the name Mad as a Hatter had come into play. Who knows maybe he's a lost spirit from the 16 hundreds."

That would have been an interesting idea. That they were haunted by the spirits of those who lost their friend and now are on a hunt for someone long gone. She could feel her brother looking at her. "Siris there is no way we won't beat this game so don't worry." She could tell they had the same thoughts, that Alice may have died.
"Theres no way Alice is dead!"
"The Queen is hunting for her"
"Though if she finds her than Alice would be dead"
"No she wouldn't she would just loose her head!"

"I wounder how many more are going to be here. It can't just be us three would it? From the urgancey in their voices I'd say this Alice was vary popular."
"There the Queen!"
"And the Rabbit!"
"The Cat"
"Oh oh the white knight!"
"Dose the Caterpillar count?"
"No no he doesn’t count."
As the words went through her head, Iris began going down the list so that the others could hear. Her hands waving through the air in sign. "Well than that answers that, guess we need to find the others first." Pulling out her phone she brought it flat in her palm as she began to speak. "Call Dolsha"

Sensing her brother nodding when he saw the number on the screen he held up his hand with which she gave a high five to. "White Knight, chess piece in a game. If these spirits are inhabiting people who represent themselves. Like how a pair of twins had found us. Than Dolsha has to know who the white Knight is. Than we will be that much closer."

-------
The sound of blades rang through the air. Sand under his boots with his mane tied behind his skull. Moving like a dancer, swift and nimble he lunged forward, perfectly balanced as he gotten the upper-hand on the foe before him. the clash of steel ringing like newly chimed bells while the sword of his opponent flew through the air. Capturing the sun's rays like a beacon.

"Vary fine skills young man. A lord or Lady, even a land would be a grand thing to have you fight for." Dolsha simply ignored the words in his head. He must have gone made since is loss with the DeVaney. He was a broken Champion, his title cracked and now he was only fighting in a small sandy arena with no one to fight for besides his own bordom.

His phone vibrating in his pants he fished it out, bringing it to his ear only to hear the sound of Iris. A smile already brought itself to his lips at the tiny voice. "Hello Iris, and I'm assuming Siris, it's great to talk to you." As he spoke he extend a hand to help the other fighter up, patting him on the back at a job well done while he spoke.

"Dolsha, me and Siris need your help. Has anyone seemed strange to you?"

"Strange? No not really" yet the moment the question was asked he began to feel the pulling of the mighty voice in the back of his skull. "You mean with anyone I know?"

"Any other knights, you know any members from the devil's horsemen, or your training circle, anyone at all?"

"I'm not on tour with the horsemen you know that, why is something wrong?" He was already moving across the arena, sitting down in the shade he took a long drink from his bottle as he listened to the woman.

"Well me and Siris began to hear voice, yes Siris as well. And we need to find others who have been having the same issue." The words caused Dolsha to freeze, eyes wide as he looked back at the screen, his mouth dry of words.
"Come now Dolsha its not the strangest thing I asked of you."

A sigh escaping his lips he brought the phone back to his head. "Yeah, I know someone. Meet me at the training studio, you know where that is? You can get a ride, easily."

-----
"Training studio, got it, thanks Dolsha...yep see you soon."
Turning off the phone she began to sign for her brother. "Dolsha says that he wants us to go to the training studio cause he knows someone who's hearing voices in their head. And if thats the case it has to be the white knight, there no other kind out there in his area."

Siris just nodded is head, bringing out his own phone as he began to text for their personal driver. His hands moving as his sister translated. "Nick, do you want to come with us? Faster we find Alice faster we get rid of the voices."

Reema nodding in approval at the answers began to head out, her own bags full feeling like a reluctant boulder has been placed inside. Yet that still only caused a smile to be brought from her lips. It meant that they had a good hunt. "I say celebration for someone's first hunt together is a grand idea."

Moga Village

It was mid evening by the time the crew had gotten back. Villagers greeting the hunters with enthusiasm, shouts of pride when they saw that the group wasted no time in taking down a large monster. One of the fishermen told them that there was a tanning station in the guild that was made for large cuts of hide like the one draped over their backs. A bit of information that Reema herself was more than happy for.

Entering the guild she began to unload. The woman at the desk giddy when she saw them. "Oh wow, you guys seem to know whats up. Run out to the woods and show those monsters you mean business!" Raising a brow at the woman Reema half heartedly nodded, "yes, he was proud and he was strong. A great hunt indeed." She was more than tempted to correct the woman in explaining that it was not planned, yet held her tonge. She didn't want to seem ill professional.

Hanging up the hide and unloading the claws, scales and bones Reema began to take off her Armour, a loose black undershirt and farmer's pants beneath. Showing a few more scars and muscle that was needed for her job. From behind at first glance she looked like a man to those who did not know her.
Taking a seat she began to work, cleaning out the meats, blood and gore from the prizes they were going to need. She never left a kill just sitting, it was rude and she still had time before night fall. She could already imagine the hearty yells and laughter given tonight from the halls.
@Always

Any side character that is there just to make the world seem more believable is totally up for control :)

Also, yeah I sometimes want to rip my hair out when I'm doing embroidery on anything.

Eyes flashing at the words Eden wasted no time. That was a threat, he just threatened her sister! He threatened Aurora. Not a breath escaped the woman as she put him in her scopes. No, head shot wouldn't do him in. Something was off about him, her instincts flared she couldn't figure it out but something was out.
Shes hit smaller targets though, so instead she put his Revolver in her sights, her finger on the trigger she was ready to take it out. He so much as aims it than hes loosing his hand.

Aurora though held her head high, rolling over with a air of confidence even with Chase whispering for her to go back. "Again my friend, no one's name is on it. So, do us a favour and leave with your delusions because your pissing me off. You don't even have the resources to open it."
Her eyes were narrowed, even in a wheel chair she was willing to stand up to whoever this was. The red head was done and she wanted nothing more than to shoot him in the knee caps.

this was bad, Chase was already moving, leaning to speak to Brick as he kept his gaze on the Rex fellow. "Keep her from getting shot, I'm getting the Andrew fellow."
