Are Medusa's body hairs actually just tiny snakes?

Bio

I'm a sucker for romance, sci fi, fantasy and just about any modern city with a twist like monster hunting or super powers. Been writing for years, I didn't learn how to read till I was 12 so the moment I got the hang of it, I could not stop. Filling journals with stories one after the other, my younger sister eventually got me into role playing and it created a monster. I will play with you all day if you reply, post for post and will give you as much detail as I can.

Interested in air! I can only imagine what a character bound to a wheel chair would do with being the god of the very winds and sky!
Hello their my friends, it is I, the trash can known as close enough has returned for another partner.

Little bit about myself. I am a 21 year old female who plays both female and male characters. My life is extremely hectic and I already have a main RP that has most of my world building skills poured into it. So if you RPed with me before, it might not be as detailed or intricate as far as the world goes, but I hope to make things run smoothly still. I will try to reply at least once a day, but life is very crazy, and things happen.

What I look for in a partner:

Someone who meets me halfway really. I make side characters to fill the story, I hope you'd do the same. You are more than welcome to twist and change the story to build your own characters. This is not just my rp, it's yours as well. I post at a minimum of two paragraphs so long as I am given something to work with, so please give a good post. I'm not asking for a novel if you don't want to write one, but if you only give me a few lines when I know you can make more, than I just won't reply. And like I said, I'll try to post once a day, if you can to, that would be great. If not, try not to have it sit for over a week, once that passes it's really hard to get back into it.

Plots:

I am only taking in one partner cause I don't want to be stretched too thin. First person to show up and have a good sense of writing gets to pick.
Reena

She never thought she would see a castle in person before. The sky was a canvas of ebony as her grey eyes stared at the moon that waned behind the intricate designs of the building before her. Crowds of people on ether side as Reen hugged her bag, her cello resting on her back, giving her some sense of security as she felt her skin crawl. The vary air was hostile, twisting and turning, crashing like waves on brittling stone. She could see the wolves, their eyes the same as the beast she tried to hard to befriend, unknowing that she was actually talking to a person through thoes days. The smell of dog and death filling her noes, twisting her gut as she hunched her shoulders and quickly rushed past the crowds.

"Don't be afraid around them, they can smell it." The words of her sire only made it worse. He tried to tell her that wolves were very simaller to the beasts that she grew up with, but the tigers that nuzzled the fences were easy to read. They had patterns, if they were fed they were fine, if they had their space they were fine. It was easy to construct everything needed to stay safe, they didn't lie or betray. Here, here there were people who could smell her terror. They could taste it and they could manipulate it into their own gain if they wanted to. Reena wanted so badly to turn and run, to hide back in the woods where she would at least have an understanding of what was out there.

"Registration paper's?" The voice made her jump, eyes wide as she saw the woman at the desk was giving her a smile. She probably dealt with shy kids before. "Oh...Um..right..." Her sire helped her fill it out before she came her so she could focus on getting her barrings first. Her moves were not like the other vampires, those ethereal gates were replaced with shaky doe like strides as she tried to get used to using limbs that were absent for so long. "Here..." Fishing out the papers, she handed them in, only to be pointed in the right direction of the almost ending ceremony. "Don't be scared dear, there are plenty of people that can help you." All Reena could do was nod, closing her bag and moving again, trying to find her dorm. Seeing a large man help another with her things, only to watch a wolf seeming to prowl the halls, even the sight of an animal was no longer welcoming.

"416...right, 416..." Walking to the stairs, Reena began to freeze. She never walked up stairs before, least not this high. Could she do it? would this be fake and they would just buckle and she'd fall? She swallowed a ball of fear in his throat as she took a shaky step, her hand grabbing the cracked marble railing as she felt the smooth texture run cool under her palm. Step, Step, Step Her feet clicked on the surface, her eyes wide as she took in the sights around her. Large windows with a stunning display of the mountain side opened up for her, the soft moonlight dancing over the halls unbarred from the heavy curtains the did not stir under their ties. Grand works of art hung on the walls in crafted frames, oil paintings and tapestry as students from children to elderly wandered the halls.

She never thought she'd be in such a place. She could already see how high the ceiling was, how amazing the acoustics would be if she played here. Still, she had to shake her head, find her room first, that was what she needed to do. "416" counting the heavy oak doors, Reena finally rested on one to the end of the hall, her fingers carefully tracing the design before she brought a set of pale knuckles to rap at the door. Knock Knock Knock

The door opened in silence as she was met with a rather large room for a dorm. Two beds and a desk, with a window holding heavy curtains to keep the threatening sun away from them. Sitting on the bed was a young woman, maybe a little older than herself with bronze skin and thick curly hair. She had a very set type of features, a kind that made her jump a little only to bow her head in greeting. Her hands fussing with the tassels on her bag, Reena set them down on her bed as she slowly lowered the cello case and set it against the wall. "Um...I guess we're room mates? My..My name is Reena, it's nice to meet you." She was quick to cover the tattoo of paw prints on her wrist, hiding them in her sleeve as if worried she would offend the woman that she found herself with.
There we go. Changed it so she went on a hunt and found herself in the wilds after killing a few of the sanctuary's animals. And that her adoptive sire had to coax her to realize she could walk.

@Ever

Got it, I thought it was slower regeneration for a second there, like massive injuries could take a few days to a week to heal. Gimme a sec and I'll have it all fixed.
@Ever Hope she's good
