Strengths & Fears

His shots are extremely accurate compared to most marksman but he can only do oh so much with a rifle. However, if he removes his mask that covers his face that can't stand most environments except really casual ones then removes his eyepatch that keeps his right eye from bleeding, he can make even the most impossible shots at the cost of his own well-being. His better vision to shoot costs him blood and damage, due to his wounds in the past. His knowledge of being a sniper though does help in combat and in planning out scouting missions in locating key areas to camp, survive in, or to check out a location. Also, for some reason he has an extreme fear of women. He tends to stay away from them unless they forcibly come upon them and somehow gain his trust...which may take a while. Finally...he's a mute. Yup, he just gives hand gestures if not writes things down in a notepad to communicate quickly with others. 


Appearance

Standing at 5'8" for a regular height, his dull brown armor is mainly just scraps of armor that he can find and somehow put together thanks to some help from fellow Rebels. The armor is mostly made to help him blend in and provide small protection so that the sniper can move quickly from position to position in a battle. Usually carrying a small pack with him carrying additional clips of ammunition, a map, and an emergency thermal detonator, Don prefers to be quick in his trips and back...usually finding food from whatever seems edible on the way to his destination. 
When there is no armor, Don has dark red hair of sorts and lightly tanned...with a white eyepatch over his right eye. He prefers to take off his armor only when he's indoors or when he's in an absolutely calm environment that doesn't make him feel sick.
Personality

Don usually keeps to himself (which is saying a lot due to being a mute XD) and does enjoy moments of silence instead of joining loud parties. Despite being a loner of sorts, those who're close to him know that he actually is quite fond of giving out hugs and makes a lot of gestures for symbols of what he wants with them. However, he immediately freaks out when meeting women he never met before and will often hide away from them immediately due to how the one who took his right eye was a woman. Finally, Don does have a soft-heart for those who're less fortunate due to being one who was less fortunate at birth as well.


Background

Born under no name and dead parents on the planet Coruscant, the child went from orphanage to orphanage on different planets due to constantly becoming a stowaway. Each time he was transferred to another orphanage, the caretakers and children there always hated the mute child. His silence was even more so enforced when he visited the icy planet Hoth, and was forced under even more abuse that caused the massive injury to his right eye. Forced to run away once more, he eventually reached a Rebel outpost on the icy planet...half-dead from being frozen from the harsh environment and bleeding from his deadly wound. Taken in and trained to be a sharpshooter despite the harsh criticism he received for doing so, he learned how to make use of his silence as a weapon and his one eye to become quite the marksman. When he heard of the suicide mission to save others, he immediately volunteered with some hope that he can make a difference in this war and help others.
