After they finally escaped from the battle, Taka looks around for his Wyvern pals from earlier...but unfortunately doesn't find them. He sighs and heads over to the corner of the camp to make a tiny etching in a tree, and adds a few flowers if he can find any. On the makeshift grave for the others it states:

"For the Brave Companions of Jarde's Company."

Heading back to sit on the stone in camp, he takes out his Iron Bow to start checking if he has enough arrows for the day to come. He does wave at the others as they pass and go on their activities, not wanting to be a bother. After all, he was a thief and people tend to look down upon him just because of his job.

"...too bad not everyone made it. Guess we got to pick up the work from here."

Star Wars - A Desperate Gamble

Don points at his throat and makes a hacking notion as if someone was choking him when the commander says that he should try to speak. He writes up on the notepad before he leaves, "I'll choke...hurts. I'll think of a way. As everyone begin to leave, he watches as the girl who claimed she was the best engineer walk out in a huff and he sighs. Deciding to head out to the bay area to hang for a while and watch everyone working on ships, he even asks...or really writes in his notebook...to ask if they had any parts to spare for just scrap. He was really looking for a laser pointer of sorts...and probably a better set of lenses to reflect some water if he ever had to use his rifle in a rainy environment. Eventually, when the engineer was there, he was extremely nervous when he asks her...probably due to how she claims she's the best engineer around.

Ako sighs as the self-proclaimed leader tries to make more trouble and run away. He did notice the one girl's scared reaction and didn't mind as the supposed leader takes her and the other injured kid away. He didn't really mind them leaving, though did feel bad for the injured kid due to how he should be checked on by the nurse instead of being dragged away. Ako starts taking out a PB&J sandwich to munch on as Shoko volunteers herself first to get blood drawn.

"...I...could go. Feel...nothing. It's alright. I don't hurt...easily. Hit all the time."

He says that last part casually as if it was a normal thing to be hit a lot. Shrugging a bit as he continues to munch a bit on the sandwich, he ends up finishing it in seconds as his blue aura disappears. He was in a relaxation state of mind after hopefully doing average on that test of sorts, he couldn't care less about what happened to his personal well-being at the moment. The shield maker studies the rather large needle without flinching at the thoughts of it being inside of him.

"Yeah...nothing too...much. I'll live. Just...need food. Heal quick...anyway."
