Acion Nakamiji

Now that he had successfully left the battle area, Acion slowly recovered from that anxiety attack he just had. He gradually stopped shivering as he stopped climbing and hovered in the sky.

"Urgh..."

The winged man grunted as the pain from that kick earlier resurfaced. It might have hit a vital bone or something. Fuck this. Even the strongest person he knew, his beloved older sister, was being torn apart like that. How strong are these people anyway?

He had to focus here. This was no drills. This was the real thing. A matter of life and death here. His sister is in peril. His friends are in peril. He could not afford to screw this up. He had to get the Sky Knights together. That was the only shot capable of piercing through these bastards. If he could gather a few of them and struck them from different directions, it would do it. They may be stronger individually, but with many of the pro heroes together, they would not stand.

Talking about great conveniences, he had this comm link right here. If he could just change the channel to the HQ, or maybe Albert, he could gather them up. They should be already in stand by now. He had to give the command for his sister.

"Come on..."

Acion pressed the comm link several times, trying to find the right channel. Hell, he didn't even know which channel it is. His heart was rushing. Panicking was lurking around him, as he desperately tried to not let it consume him...

Once Forte had left the HQ, the one in command was a tall girl with long lustrous blue-hair with glasses, wearing a white lab coat. The appearance and choice of clothing was a little obvious that she was not part of the Sky Knight's battle squadron. She instead was part of the ground staff, in particular in charge of the equipment. For a girl graduating from Support Course, the job was a surprising delight. The payment was not as high as she expected, but the environment was second-to-none. They usually say working is worse than schooling, but being here, it may be good enough to be considered an exception to that statement. But today was not a delightful day to her. This was a surreal and a little intimidating experience, to actually be in charge of an emergency situation.

Suddenly, she noticed something strange over her own comm link. It appeared that someone was trying to contact her, but it stopped right before she could hear anything. A minute later, it repeated. She could barely hear what was on the other end

"-ome on."

Her eyebrows lifted. This was intriguing.

"There's something currently calling us on the comm link." She reported to the last person who left the HQ, the dragon-girl. "It's scouring through multiple channels."

Over to the other end.

"That's suspicious. What's the ID of that comm link?" Forte asked.

"Uhh..." She took a moment. "It's K98"

The Sky Knight was in shock. K98 was dead. How could it be contacting HQ right here, right now? The only person that could have it right now is Aurelia.

"Can you figure out who's the caller?"

"I heard vaguely. I think it's a male."

No way...

"Put me on with him."

Elsewhere

It seemed that he didn't need to call someone. Someone was already reaching out to him.

"You. Identify yourself. State your name and where you come from?"

He breathed a sigh of relief as the panic aura left him.

"Acion Nakamiji. I'm from Komei Academy."

"Acion..." She recognized that name. "You're the son of Arisa?"

"Yeah, and the brother of your leader."

"Ohh..." She nodded understandingly. "But why are you here and have that comm link?"

"I'll explain if there is time, in which we only have very little!" He almost yelled into the link.

"Ok ok. Calm down. Aurelia is in trouble isn't she?"

"Yeah, she just got overwhelmed by a...strange person. I think he's from the Shadow Clan or so."

'Shit, even Aurelia?'

"Alright. We are heading there as fast as possible. Where are you now?"

"Uhh..."

Damn it, he didn't know where exactly this was. He remembered that his sister used some sort of sector as a way to coordinate, but he didn't know for shit about it. He had to find something to mark his location. Something...like a landmark.

"I'm near the city's drawbridge."

"Ok got it." She switched off the comm.

Acion was still not any less worried. Right now, he was all by himself, with no help around him for now. Tension was mounting. What if they mistaken his location? What if they couldn't find him or something? Questions like that went through his mind. But he just have to trust them. He landed on the top of the bridge and waited, hoping direly that they would arrive soon.

Minutes after, the relief party, or so it would seem to him, had arrived.

"Hey man." It wasn't the girl earlier. It was Albert, flying in with two more Sky Knights. One of whom looked very young, with short brown hair, who had like four flying flat objects rotating around her while she levitated using her two waist wings."Ok, I know you're in a panic. But you gotta tell me what is going on."

Acion was not really panicking anyway, but whatever. He briefly explained the situation to the three members.

"Hmm. It may be a lot harder than we thought. I know we're on short of time, but we should wait for Forte first before storming in. She should be arriving any moment now." He then proceeded to make a short call somewhere else. But before that. "Just tell Aurelia that we're on our way."

Aurelia Nakamiji

The throw into the alleyway was so violent it hurt. The point of impact was not a flat surface, but rather an edge of a dumpster that her back crashed into. Because of it, her back was now soring. She had to take a moment to stand up. Thankfully, no danger was heading her place. At least not immediately.

Upon standing up, the Sky Defender looked around to see the kids from Komei also struggling with their fights. And before her were wolves, one so large that it was out of this world. One she had never seen or dared to imagine. One was pinning a girl down. One was preying on a silver-haired girl. Aurelia recognized her being that girl in the cafeteria the other day. She's caught up in this too? Not far from her was the blond haired guy also from the cafeteria, along with another girl with short black hair. They too weren't faring very well. The last person she could not see very clearly, but he seemed to be holding out.

The wolf preying on Kaida soon attacked, but the girl quickly and nicely dodged, grabbed it and slammed its head onto the wall. But then she...collapsed. The battle must have been brutal. Aurelia paid more attention to the wolf. It received a heavy blow, but it was still moving. It was going for the now defenseless girl.

Wasting no second, Aurelia charged at the wolf. Before it had any chances of touching the girl, she plunged her sword deeply into its neck. The freezing cold skin of the wolf sent chills down her spine. Then, she quickly ripped the sword off and delivered two slashes to its head, sending it to the floor.

Aurelia could see Kaida in pain. But before her, she had to know what had happened to Acion first? Did he escape? Or did he stay and fight that guy? She really hoped that he didn't. If he did, and then got hurt or even lost his life, how would she explain this to mom and dad? Or the school. Her entire career, esteem and conscience would be in complete ruin. If that happened, she'd rather die here in this battle.

"Acion, are you-"

Suddenly, the short-haired girl yelled that she would be using her quirk. Instantly, the air around her became a storm as it was pulled violently into this girl. What the hell is this quirk?!

Aurelia planted her sword onto the ground, trying to not be pulled into it. The force was so immense that it took most of her strength to remain stable. So strong that it pulled the wolf into her. And then, without any pre-warning, she was blasted away by an opposite force, propelling her in the direction opposite of the force she was trying to fight against. She slammed her back yet again, but thankfully it was just the wall.

"Holy shit my back hurts." She grunted as she stood up. "Acion, are you alright?"

The few second's silence seemed like a medium eternity to her. And it all came out in one go as a voice came right back at her, loud and clear.

"I'm alright."

She breathed a sigh of relief. But then the next thing to come out of her communication device was the news she wanted to hear.

"I've met up with the Sky Knights. We'll be relieving you soon!"

Yes. Now she would just need to hold out. Time is on her side!

Her next concern turned to Kaida, who was crying in agony. Aurelia immediately went to her side, kneeling right next to her.

"Are you alright miss?"

She got her answer pretty quickly, in the form of a drop of blood dripping from her mouth.

"Oh no..."

What could she do?

Acion Nakamiji

---------------------------------

”Acion. Acion. What happened?”

The calling of his sister echoed into his comm links. She noticed how stiff he was down there. Did he get contracted to a mid-control or mental manipulation quirk? Her worries risen. But it was relieved, for a short bit, as his response came.

”I’m alright…I just...hear something coming from the alley.”

”Which alley? The one to the right?” She asked.

”Yeah. A sound of howling wolves. In dozens. And they seem to be on the hunt.”

That sent a shiver down Aurelia. Someone must have been there. And who were those wolves hunting on? Were they being murdered? Should she and Acion come into the alley to try and save them? Decisions had to be made. Quickly…

While the silver-haired girl was adding weights to her criterias, the boy was on the edge, breathing in high alert. His hearing was especially sharpened, tuning for any other sounds that may indicate any other clues of what the hell was going on in there?

He could hear gruntings, blades clashing, guns firing amidst the sound of the wolves hunting their prey. The gruntings sounded young. Students? Then suddenly, a yell, filled with pain, exhaustion and familiarity, brought him back in shock.

"Kusayanagi-san!"

’What?!’

The other partner had stayed at the other end of the alley, incase the others were to run away. But Hades was pretty good at keeping groups occupied so it was more of keeping others from joining in. While his attention was semi on the group fighting he noticed the silver haired girl and blonde boy who were fighting. Hades, don't fucking touch the blonde boy or the white haired girl. Don't you recognize them? Sensei would have our heads if they got hurt badly. He said over his own coms in an irritated cold voice.

He glanced over to see a white haired boy standing dumbfounded in armor. He knew right off the bat that the kid wasn’t a pro...but went to the same school and class as Takeshi. His eyes looked up into the sky to find his sister. The only reason the boy would be out in armor was if he was shadowing someone...and clearly it would be his beloved sister who was the leader of the sky knights.

When a girl yelled out the blonde boy’s name, the boy before him seemed to be finally getting into gear to move in. With a sigh, a black thin shadow shot out on the ground, slithering almost to a trash can. He gripped it with the shadow and launched it at the boy with surprisingly great speed. All while he was in the shadows behind a vending machine.

Kusayanagi? Why is Roy’s name here? And that voice. He recognized it.

’Reina?’

Shit. They must be caught in the crossfire. Or were they targeted?

No time for that now. He paid attention a bit more, and heard some more familiar voices. There was no doubt. His friends and classmates were in there. And he had to intervene.

The moment Acion got his blade ready, halfway unsheathing it, something zoomed straight for him, at an insane velocity. He could not dodge this one. Not completely. No way. In a split second, he both moved his body to the right, whilst raising all three left wings to brace for the incoming object. The trash can collided with the wings violently, producing a large clang as it bounced off his tough wings, due to the acute angle of impact.

”Oh no...” Finally, he unsheathed his sister’s blade. Identifying his targets, he saw it. Behind the vending machine. Someone, with a mask, leaning against the side of the vending machine. The silence filled the winged man with tension. The first time ever he clashed with a villain, a professional one. But he could not afford to shiver upon this. He was born for this, sooner or later. He had to stay calm, and assess the situation.

But his options were limited. The man was standing in a dead corner. Acion could fly up, but that would just give him the range advantage. That vending machine, if he wanted to utilize his feathers effectively, he would have to use his techniques to his fullest, which could cut through even steel. But he had no altitude to build up power. He was on the ground. And flying up would just mean disengaging. That was not an option.

Therefore, he just stood there, at the ready for any sort of attacks this guy had in store. He had to lure this guy out.

Meanwhile, above in the sky, a few hundred meters in the air, the Sky Knights leader was observing everything in her binocular. She too had spotted the target, though not as clearly. She saw that trash can being thrown at him. But then, she saw her young brother standing there, having unsheathed his sword, and did nothing. What?

”What the fuck is he doing?”

She knew it. It was her cue to ready her weapon, along with her comm link.

Rakshasa stood there keeping his eyes on Acion. As he pulled his blade he continued to stand there, allowing the silence to speak volumes. It was clear that he was not at all afraid that Acion saw him or drew his blade. After a moment he decided to play the boys game. He knew he wanted to have him come out from his corner. He took a few steps forward, his arms behind his back casually. His sword still in its sheath. Another shadow snaked on the ground away from both of them towards the truck. Gripping a massive tire he threw it once again from the side of Acion. While he was throwing that, another shadow reached a bench on his opposite side and threw that as well. All the while he walked forward

Unlike last time, he knew it was coming. At first, the tire. It was coming right from the side. Acion quickly jumped backward, dodging it pretty easily. But then the bench was thrown right after he landed. It was coming for him fast. The boy decided to utilize the current stance he had, putting his strength on his two legs and boosted him upward. His wings soared to propel him higher, avoiding the oncoming bench. Immediately after the jump, at the peak, he slashed all wings downward, sending dozens of feathers down to his adversary. Once done, he flapped his wings, flying a bit upward. The initial plan had worked. He was out. But he knew that the attack was nowhere near a decisive one. He was walking towards Acion with his sword still sheathed. He was surely an experienced one, and really confident. This would be a long battle.

All the while, Aurelia was still observing the scenario, assessing her opponent. That ability to use shadows as if it was his own limbs. Extremely dangerous in close range. She must take caution.

Her brother did not make any contacts with her. She knew he was trying to keep her presence concealed, and she planned to keep it that way, until she got the first strike. Though it would be very unlikely that she was going to have it at him completely undetected. The cloud was hanging a bit low today, but if she got below the final cloud level, she would be spotted. A trained eye could easily do that. Her best shot was to take the hundred meter shots and then dove in for the fray. There was a cloud right near her, and she would use that to her advantage. She dove in, and was ready for the shot.

Annoyed his attacks didn’t connect, but slightly impressed the boy knew what he was planning. Slightly. However he was prepared for his counter attack. He jumped quickly but gracefully to the side, one of the feathers catching him in the shoulder but it didn’t faze him.

Rakshasa ripped it it from his shoulder and within a few seconds judged its balance and weight before throwing it back. He didn’t wait though. He then sprinted towards the closest building and ran up the wall and jumped up and towards Acion. He let out a wordless grunt as he then aimed a kick with all his strength towards Acions stomach.

It appeared that one attack had hit. Evidenced by the fact that he ripped that feather from his shoulder and was holding it in his hand. Then suddenly, he threw the feather back at him. Acion was keeping his eyes on him the whole time, so he could see that coming. With a twist of the torso, the feather passed by him harmlessly. However, the next attack was totally unexpected. When he looked back at where his opponent had been, he was already gone. Spotting his target again, he was dangerously close, running up the wall of a nearby building and was trying to kick him out of the sky. He was in no position to dodge this one, and he could barely even block it. The kick made its contact, the strength brutalized his stomach, as Acion was sent flying downward with it. But if there was anything about this young fighter was that he was especially good at recovering his flying path. With a few more turns and the might of his powerful wings, he flew upward in an arc, his trajectory nearly missing the ground.

Aurelia could see what the hell was going on the second she got out of the cloud. Judging by what he just did, he was also incredibly fast. Probably could even rival her movements as well. She knew she would likely miss at this range, but she went for it anyway. She quickly adjusted her aim, and fired with her double crossbow, but only one shot. She was trying to lead at his stomach. The second shot came a second later, a little later than expected, since she was actually trying to predict where he may move to. He could almost likely spot the arrow and dodge it anyway. The second shot would be the one that he could not dodge. But that was only if he moved in the direction that she predicted he would be moving.

After the second shot was done, she immediately dove down, noticing her brother soaring up. She yelled into the comm link.

”Throw the sword up now!”

Acion was still recovering from the stomach pain, and was just able to throw that sword upward when the sight of his sister bolting down, one of her hand catching the hilt of the sword gracefully, while the other hand threw the crossbow upward, giving enough time for Acion to catch it. As he remembered that she said ‘I’ll cover you than you cover me’, he knew what he had to do. Conveniently, there were four arrows on the quiver of the bow, so he was not out of ammo.

While Acion was reloading the bow, Aurelia was charging straight at the shadow guy. Her unsheathed sword at the ready. She would not let her opponent know which direction she would swing the sword, until she was near. It turned out to be a downward slash, straight down.

After Rakshasa managed to hit Acion he landed with ease on the ground, He was continually watching his surroundings and was wondering when Aurelia would jump in. He was sure it was any moment after landing a hit on her kid brother. Sure enough he heard a whistle from a bolt and looked up to see Aureila flying directly towards him. He easily could have dodged this attack but he did not. He only smirked under his breath as he shifted his stance to take the force of the blow. The bolt hit his stomach and caused him to slide back a little. But otherwise he seemed unharmed.

He pulled the bolt from his stomach and tossed it to the side. Side stepping the second bolt as he did, and moving to the center of the road. Giving Aureila a clear path towards him. He watched as the siblings did a fancy weapon switch and waited. He was glad she was attempting to get close to him. Fighting with flyers was always so annoying because they would just hide up in the air and shoot down at a safe distance. But this one, she didn’t mind getting her hands dirty.

He watched her closely as she skillfully hid her attack, which made it even harder because she wasn’t actually standing on the ground. Where he could read her stance. At the last moment he saw it. He gripped his sword and unsheathed it. Where most swordsmen would raise their blade over their head to block the blow head on and turn it into a fight of strength, He did not do this. He gripped his right wrist (his sword arm) with his left hand to steady it, but held his blade with the hilt pointing up and his blade at a forty-five degree angle with his tip pointing to the ground. Most would be unprepared for the deflecting blow, and lose their balance, their blade sliding down his. Where it would protect him but give him a huge advantage to strike with a downward attack, into their exposed back.

Aurelia knew this techniques of deflection, but wasn’t really expecting it to be used here. After all, it was a secret tip that a few swordsmen knew, including her. For that split second, what her master from multiple schools of martial arts and swordsmanship had taught her, what her most fatherly teacher, Jais, had taught her. All of that did not come back to her mind, but her senses. While her mind consciously devise tactics, her body subconsciously acted just as what she was taught. That blow. Once the blade slid down, her back went cold. It was her dead angle, exposed. She had to quickly cover it.

She was passing him, and his blade was coming down at her back. With a quick turn of the torso, she was now facing toward the oncoming blade. She brought her own sword up, narrowly blocking the attack, while she was still falling. Because she had already committed to pacifying his attack, she was in no condition to deal with the fall. Aurelia fell flat on the ground, but was able to do a few backflips to regain her footing, bringing her back into an active standing position. But now she was on the ground, losing that one advantage she had over him: air supremacy.

Expected of the leader of the sky knights. He had learned she was taught the fine art of swordsmanship by Jais Haven, a famous hero from France. But while he was a fine swordsman. He could not compare to the Shadow clan style. He didn’t wait for her to regain her footing before running after her. He knew if he kept her on the ground it would be highly in his favor. Soon he was sure her team will come, meaning time was against them. While he had no issues taking on the sky knights, it would be smarter to do it at another time. He went for a kill slash to her throat, one she would surely parry.

But the reason he did it was so he could get into her head. She could hear a deathly low amused hum coming from behind his mask as he looked down at her with his amber eyes. “Aurellia Nakamiji, you once said that you don’t fear incredibly strong opponents. Rather a team that works in perfect coordination…” He pushed her back and slashed a few times, toying with her really as she was sure to dodge each of his attacks. “If that scares you... ” He used his shadows discretely to come up behind her to cause her to trip while pushing her back with his sword attacks. “Then the clan should be terrifying to you …” While she would perry his attacks she would easily notice each strike was getting stronger and stronger, that above an average human. The ploy worked as her foot was caught by the shadows behind her. But rather than letting her fall over completely he reached out and grabbed her wrist. And with great strength he pulled her back and spun her around as easily as an adult lifting a toddler, in a complete three sixty and sent her flying into the shadows of the alley where his brother was currently fighting.

As she would land hard on the ground he would speak up loud enough for the entire group to hear. “You’re in over your head girl!” In a calm but spine tingling tone.

She had no problems dealing with the initial clashes, but the follow ups were getting stronger and stronger with every single blow. And while she was trying to keep up with him, he was barely giving his all. Was this the Shadow Clan’s might? Or was it just a head start. They were way stronger than she had expected.

She did not reply, her head in a myriad of fear and concentration, on both her surroundings and his attacks. Damn it. He was so fast she could not counter attack. She could only parry him until he slowly overwhelmed her, throwing her into the dark alley. The odds were against her. She didn’t have a team, her brother was pretty useless, and she totally underestimated her opponent.

Being thrown into the alley, she tried to open her wings wide, slowing her down, but not enough to stop her from crashing into a dumpster. But she was ok. Not too painful as she stood up quickly enough. Crap, now that she had been separated, her brother was completely vulnerable against that guy. Aurelia had the urge to charge out, but the wolves, which were scarily big, and was preying on the students nearby, convinced her not to. All she could do now was fight, not to subdue them, but for her own life, and pray that her brother could disengage, in which she knew he would. Despite his idealistic heroism, he was no fool.

The winged man just finished the reloadings when he witnessed his sister being thrown like a ragdoll into the dark alley, where his friends were being attacked. It happened too quickly, way too quickly. Now, he was all alone, against a professional villain. A man a hundred times more powerful than he was. Acion was in a difficult position. He was able to leave, probably unscathed, to gather the other Sky Knights, in which he knew they were stationed in the adjacent sectors, but that would mean leaving his friends and family alone against two, perhaps more, mysterious yet very mighty people. From what he heard, they weren’t faring well. He could stay and fight, but it could mean the end of it. Not just his career, but his life. All washed away in a fight that he knew he was seriously handicapped.

”Arrgghh…”

Acion’s grip on the bow tightened but shaking. For the first time ever, this young hero trainee had learned what was actual fear.

Screw it.

He must not die here. Stay and fight would be heroic, but heroism without a purpose was just plain stupidity. He had to disengage, now.

’Sis, guys. Hang on.’

Noticing that the man on the ground was looking up at Acion challengingly, the winged man quickly flapped his wings hastily, trying to go as high as he could before turning away, flying away, leaving the battlefield.

”Pathetic…” The man said with disgust as he slowly walked towards the alley after watching the boy run away.

Oh god, I am exposed.

I have that feeling from the beginning, but I think male NPCs is alright right? Cause I have in mind the most cliche character I have ever thought up myself.
Yurius Diencrade

As those Imps were racing away to preserve their own lives and cowardice, Yurius could only sneered, as he threw the rock in his hand down their way. So was all the trouble and incidents that happened here was attributed to them? He swore, if he met them again, he would rip their throats out. He came here expecting a large threat, but it turned out to be a whole bunch of brats. He couldn't just leave them be. It was his and the student's mission to remove them. What a colossal pain in the ass.

Talking about students...

"Hey you!"

Yurius said, as he noticed the young and impulsive Circe trying to prey on the Imps, single-handedly. Unless you are an ancient vampire who had lived for hundreds of years and had once caused a lasting terror upon the inhabitants of the lands you came across, going alone wasn't a good idea. Still if they were only those brats and nothing else, it shouldn't be too worrisome.

"Please watch the others for me." He said as he began to walk in the direction of Circe. He was keeping his eyes on her, also to find out what the hell was going on in this place.

"Alert, Sky Knights! I repeat, alert!"

Such was the current state at Sky Knight's HQ. Emergency calls from the citizens were received repeatedly in the last few minutes. This was no drills. This was a real incident, though things were still unclear whether it was an accident or a planned attack, but early conclusions and preparations were already drawn based on all the previous reports and investigations they have been doing in recent days.

Even though the leader was not present, procedures were still executed.

"Ma'am, scouts from sector 2, 5, 6, 8, 12 all reports smokes coming from sector 13!"

"Ma'am, calls from nearby citizens dictate that a bus has rammed into a ramen shop downtown Shino!"

The leader of Red Squadron was taken aback by the sudden and overwhelming number of reports coming from this incident. But this was not the first time things like this happened.

Decisively, as if she was the group's leader herself, the dragon-horned girl stood up.

"Sky Knights! Prepare for combat!"

"Get your weapons ready brothers!"

"Let's move!"

Every members were raising their combat readiness to unsheathed swords, spread wings and drawn bows.

'Sector 13? That's where Aurelia is patrolling.' Forte looked at the map of the city skeptically.

"All members station at key locations. Be ready to lock the area down in case of a consecutive attack." She said over the trans-organizational communication channel, as she passed the command baton down to another SK's member. "Red squadron follow me!"

Meanwhile...

"What did you say?" Aurelia was listening to the reports coming in from a Sky Knight's ground staff when her brother gave her a poke

"Look sister. To the west."

The two looked to the said direction, as black smoke could be seen far away. That was when the message finally got through, lout and clear to her.

"It may have been just an accident, but Forte have ordered mobilization to certain key points, in case if it is a real attack."

The Sky Knight's leader simply nodded.

"Great. I'll look into the site and report back soon enough."

"Be careful ma'am." The voice replied, as she logged out.

Left with a mission at hand, Aurelia and Acion immediately flew in the direction of the smoke. Whilst on the way, Aurelia suddenly tossed over to her younger brother her sword, leaving the latter a bit stunned.

"What's all this?" He asked.

"I have a feeling that this is no accident, so you better have a weapon at the ready." She answered, "I'll cover you. And right after that, we'll switch so that you'll cover me instead." And gave him a thumbs-up. "This is unofficially your first mission. You better be ready."

The winged boy returned the gesture. "I am ready."

Once reached a certain distance, Aurelia suddenly said.

"I will be climbing up now. You go investigate and handle the victims in that restaurant. If there are really someone there, I will be right there."

Acion nodded, as both flyers suddenly separated, with Aurelia soaring up to hundreds of meters in the air, while Acion flying at roof level. Once there, Aurelia quickly executed her procedure. She took out the binocular and looked closely at the target location, which was no longer far from her current location. On the while, Acion was on top of the building that oversaw the ramen shop, along with the burning bus, which was suspiciously placed sideways in the restaurant.

"The smoke's so heavy, I cannot see anything." Acion said as he landed on the street nearby. He tried looking into the bus, the scorching hot flame prevented him from getting any closer. There didn't seem to be anyone inside that bus. Hopefully not.

Acion proceeded to look into the restaurant himself. No one seemed to be in the restaurant as well. They might as well have already evacuated already. There were little signs of human. There were details that really ticked his senses off, like how the bus was sideway in the building. But at first glance, and to an untrained eye, it may as well look like an accident. In this case, he should call his big sis.

"Now how do I use this-"

It was at that moment when a frightening sound sent a chill down his spine. The sound of howling hungry wolf. Multiply and overlapping one another. It appeared to come from the alley nearby.

"Yeah? What did you find?" At this moment, Aurelia's voice could be heard over the com link.

But the winged man was a little too shocked, too stunned and too confused at what he just hear to reply.

@pkken @Aerandir
Yurius Diencrade

Yurius was looking around the area as all of a sudden, his hearings began to pick up noises. Engines to be specific. When he turned around, he could see the three forklifts racing towards him, along with the students. His initial idea was to use his mighty power to stop one of the forklifts right on its tracks, but seeing how those forklifts were lifted to the chest level of everybody, which was around the stomach level for him. Not only that the thing were a little sharp, the position was a little uncomfortable to hold onto. So he abandoned that plan, as he simply just made a sideway jump, moving out of the way of the forklifts as they charged through.

"Hmph. What a puerile tactic." The vampire crossed his arms as he recited his usual mocking tone. He could obviously notice that hooded Imp who was trying to make fun of the vampire, Mako and the rest of the students with that seemingly 'innovative' strategy, in which to him was just a dirty trick from a brat.

Still, he need not act now. Let us hear what this brat had to say, and what that thing had to do with what we were investigating here. The vampire looked around his feet and picked up a rock, which sized at about a golf ball. Placing the rock onto one of his hand, he tightened it into a fist, hiding the rock, and then placed it behind his back. His lips curled into a blood-thirsty smirk. Just in case...
Don't worry about the ranks, I've got ways around that. It's that I have a concept of my officer, who is pretty much a sensitive, considerate but strong and calm who had seen through the war himself. Basically the ones who feels pain when seeing his men around him die, but is still following orders. His personality I think can work well in this scenario.

I could see more potential interactions if some characters are inexperienced draftees. But it's up to you to decide anyway. And I may have him present on the front line when combat happened. It'll be easier for interactions and I won't be sitting around in HQ when fights begin. I mean British majors do fight frequently according to what I know.

And discord, I would recommend. It is faster to talk stuff with each other. I mean a successful RP's OOC I am in right now is almost completely in discord, as talks are much quicker

I think this is more visible if you have some difficulties.

Also a few questions. Do you prefer or not prefer any types of pictures, because I know a few people don't want real life or anime-ish pictures in their CS? And the officer role. How far in the military rankings can we start with? Like I am thinking of either a company commander, with around 100 men, as a major, or if possible a battalion, 200 to 300 men, as lieutenant colonel (though I prefer the former, as it is easier to interact with other players)? What's the limit to that of an officer role?

Aurelia Nakamiji
Acion Nakamiji

"Oiii!"

The Sky Defender was waving repeatedly to a man in the distance. The Sky Defender had been flying straight from the river bay down the industrial zone straight to downtown within minutes. The clock ticked. The clue could disappear at any moment. They must be quick.

The one that Aurelia was picking up on was the same man in the meeting room a few hours ago. As expected, he was dressed in a medieval costume, with a saber held firmly on his hand. The noticeable and indicative thing was that he wasn't really flying. He was levitating, hovering hundreds of meters in the air without any visible assisting equipment or mutated body parts, and he did so just as if he was standing on the ground. Upon noticing the two siblings, he quickly and effortlessly flew to meet them.

"Au- I mean, Mustang." He was on normal speaking pattern, until he noticed an unexpected guest coming with her. "I think you have been informed."

"Where do you see this man, Al- I mean Corsair?" Aurelia asked, as the one presumably called Corsair as a codename pointed straight down where he was hovering.

"Right down there. I was happening to patrol the area when I receive the call from HQ. I skimmed the area and had gotten track of the said man walking across the boulevard." But then he shook his head. "But then I lost his track after he entered an alley."

"I'm not surprised with that clan name." The silver haired girl replied as she looked down to where he was pointing. "Alright, who is in here along with you? Tell him or her to move to the adjacent sector, be on standby and act as patrols. I will search the area personally."

"Sure..." The man's attention finally turned to the six-winged boy looking a little like him but with the Nakamiji's trademark white hair, and looked a little younger than him. "Who might you be young man?"

Before Acion replied, Aurelia looked at the saber-carrying man, puzzling.

"You didn't know? I've mentioned him a few times already."

"Acion Nakamiji, sir. I'm her younger brother."

"Ah! So it is really you. Sorry, nowadays people looking alike is commonplace. And you need not to speak formally. I'm only worth being your older brother." The man's tone suddenly changed for a more friendly and intimate one. "Anyway, I am Albert Saratogi. Just call me Albert, to be short." And he held out his hand as a form of handshake.

"A pleasure, Albert. But are you fine with the first name formality?"

"Why not? You're going to join us and we'll be brothers in arms eventually."

Acion quickly turned to his sis. "I haven't even been through the first week at school and you've already dictated my career path?"

"Hey, you said you want to join us right? Then why not?"

"I want, but it makes me feel like you're forcing me instead of my own volition. I decide my own future you know."

"Then what will you do? There's no better disciplined and brotherly group than us."

Acion did not reply. He knew he lost that argument.

"Ahem." It was Albert who brought the three of them back to their topic at hand. "I have informed HQ, they are conducting a surveillance through the street cameras. They'll inform you directly if they found anything."

"Great work. Initiate CR4. All units, be ready for possible actions. Pull out the current patrolling units to the East, South East and North East of our current position, replace it with the knights defending sector 2, 5 and 6." She commanded. "Act as patrols, but be on perfect standby in case of a fight."

"Affirmative. Be careful out there you two."

"And now, Acion, come with me, and stick close."

Acion simply nodded as he complied.
