”Are we clear comrades?”

”Roger.”

They gave each other a salute. It was right around that time that the hound began to shrink. And that did not go without attention

’It shrinks every time it regenerates...That may be the weakness that can be exploited to take it down.’

”Look out!” The other man shouted as the shadowy breath attack was blown straight their direction.

All the Sky Knights jumped out just in time. Some were a little late, but more than enough to escape the freezing death.

”Everybody know their roles. Prepare to engage!”

“Awwww I wanted to play with the bigger version more!” Marge said as the dog looked at her, Shortcut came and stood right in front of her, just as cerberus was inhaling, Suspecting some type of breath attack. He used his fist and slammed into the concrete, a resounding crack could be heard as he pulverized the ground below him, causing a large chunk of concrete to stick up infront of them, blocking a direct hit from its freezing breath.

He looked back to Marge who eyed him. “What? You expecting a oh my hero moment?” She said as she picked up a few rocks. Shortcut shook his head. “No, but a thank you for making sure I dont turn into a popsicle.”

Staring at the rocks for a moment before hurling them over the blockade. “I grew up in Alaska! This is nothing!” The rocks would land near or on the wolf and explode like small grenades at contact.

Shortcut then looked out into the street, from the roof of an opposite building. “Manda, can you go follow up with Aurelia and make sure that those two kids are alright? Both seemed in rough shape.”

Manda pulled her rifle up and slung it over her shoulders. Heaving up a FN Mag, and quickly hopping down from her perch and making her way over to the others.

Shorcut then looked back to the large piece of concrete, as soon as the breath attack stopped he lifted it up with seemingly ease and hurled it at the beast.

Cerberus stopped its breath attack to catch the large rock in its jaw before biting down hard causing it to burst into a million pieces. The hound growled intensely at the hero in front of it, the dogs body soon began adapting to its foes as a protective armor was created on its back and around each of its head. The gear had small razor sharp quills that were capable of causing major slash damage if one was to receive a physical strike. Cerberus was deadly in the sense that it was capable of making its own decisions whether its creator was present or not a well as adapt to its foes.

The large beast crouched down before charging forward towards shortcut, preparing to steamroll its foe.

Acion along with the girl with four flying mirrors had gone sky high while Cerberus was focusing on other heroes, firing leads onto the creature’s head when the protective armors suddenly appeared all over the creature, rendering their attacks useless.

”How is that even possible?” The boy said as he lifted off, preparing for another approach. But he would have to engage in a different way this time

By the time he was diving down, he could notice gaps in the creature’s armor suit. Unlike humans, this big bulky fella had more than one head. That meant more than one neck. The armor was not spacious enough to cover his entire neck area, especially where the place where the necks were joining the body.

And he delivered his attack.

Acion dove steeply, unleashing his trademark sharp feather hailstorms. But his attack were significantly more powerful, simply because his opponent right now is not a normal student in a training exercise, but a large dog that needs to be exterminated. He need not hold back. Each feathers were powerful enough to punch through and stick on the hound’s freezing cold skin.

He quickly break once the attack had been dealt. His trajectory was dangerously close to the dog’s armor.

Meanwhile…

”That thing must not be allowed to move around so freely. Heinkel. Ready the rope.”

”Roger.” Replied the girl with the longbow. She took out a seemingly normal arrow, but this arrow was connected to a modified wire, which was sharply thin, but was enhanced in terms of durability, as it took quite a mass to cut it. And then she landed on a building nearby, her bow drawn, but not yet raised.

”Lancaster.” The dragon girl only nodded to this knight. He didn’t need to ask, and barely a look at Heinkel. Judging from his position, he already know what to do.

”Someone make that dog turn around please.”

Shortcut lowered his own stance as he was prepared to take the cerberus head on when one of the women asked politely in a battle to turn the dog around. Not that he could refuse such a polite request. He charged at the large dog and jumped up, Punching the dog square in the forehead of one of its heads downwards. Causing the beast to suddenly headplant into the ground. This however caused his back to raise up and shortcut wasn’t high enough to get over it, slamming into its back, hearing a rip and pain in a few places.

He managed to land on his feet however, gripping his arm as he could feel warm blood oozing out. Those spikes cut right through his kevlar/carbon fiber suit! “Damn..” he said as he quickly grabbed one of its legs as the dog was dazed, and pulled with all his might wincing in pain as his torn muscles screamed in pain, but he managed to spin the dog around and toss it into the opposite direction.

As Shortcut was dealing with the dog, the knight Lancaster put on their special protective glove. And once the dog was having their head punched to the ground, the longbow woman held her bow horizontally, pointing slightly down, drawn with the specially made arrow. The moment the dog was being spun, the girl let go of the string, and the arrow left her owner. In less than a second, her eyes winked, turning the arrow’s trajectory away from the ground, leveling it straight horizontal. The arrow struck deep into the wall, creating one end of the wire. That done, Heinkel threw the wire down the street below. And it was immediately caught by the other knight, who dashed forward for the wire. With a pull of his hand, he stretched the sharp wire just as the dog was thrown.

The wire was around a person’s neck level, sharply waiting for the collision with the beast.

Cerberus roared in pain as it was tossed through onto its side by shortcut, gliding across the ground. The left head had been turned, catching a glimpse of the hazard that awaited the beast. The dog tried to bore its tail into the ground to stop itself to traveling any further but the terrain was far too decimated to get a good grip.

SLICK

The left side of Ceberus’s body was cut clean off as it slid into the wall, the dog attempted to recover itself as its size was beginning to shrink as it tried to lick its wounds.

”That shit is tougher than I expected.”

Just as she said that, a voice coming over the intercom had her awaken to look up in the sky to see a tall large man with a seagull wing. He carried on his shoulder a pack of large heavy metal chains.

”This is Hellcat. Inbound in less than one minute.”

The call was directed to everyone.

Forte looked at the dog as it was licking its wound. Great. Right when it was unsuspecting.

”All wings. Operation Enkidu is underway.”

Everyone, excluding Acion, all nodded in unison. While the hero trainee did not exactly know what they were up to, he knew what he had to do: distract this dog for others to do the work. He saw the Sky Knight coming in with the chain. Still vague with the idea, but he charged down at the dog, spinning around his waist, throwing yet another hailstorm of feathers onto the creature’s middle head. But he didn’t break from there. He went straight, his hands holding the feather knife, down, stabbing the dog at its exposed area, the eye.

All of a sudden, the dog twitch due to the impact, sending the sharp armor colliding with this young hero’s armor, cutting through it easily, though not entirely. It cut into his chest, red liquid began to ooze out, but he managed to break out. The wound was light, but could be more severe if not treated in time.

The Sky Knights did not let any moment for it to breathe. Sachi, the girl with four floating light mirrors shot the left head with her light beam.

The rest of the team, in a show of nigh-perfect coordination, proceeded to chain the torso of Cerberus using the chain they had brought in with them. The chain was a hextuple legs sling, basically six chains linked to a large link in the middle. The person carrying the chain, Hellcat, held the large link firmly as he dove down onto the dog’s back. He rammed at optimal speed, avoiding any possible shock that could backfire on him, placing the large link at the center of the creature’s large back.

Immediately, the remaining four Sky Knights, including Forte, with their hands free charged into the creature. Each of whom grabbed one of the links on its back and flew downward evenly underneath the tummy: two on the left, two on the right. Those two from each sides would then lock the links together. Forte and Hellcat then flew upward, taking the fifth and sixth, the two final, links and wrapped them around their own torso.

”Ready?!” The dragon girl yelled over to the other end. ”One, two, thREE!”

Then again, her voice was severely distorted, as her inner dragon took over. The girl slowly flew up, using all her might to lift the gigantic creature up into the air. The other man also did his part, grunting in fury. The chains stretched, and it now became a show of force, with the weight of the dog on one side, and the other side being the lift by two strongest Sky Knights.

Initially, the scale was on the side of the shadow…

”They need help. Come on!”

And they were joined by the remaining Sky Knights. At first, only two joined, one for each sides, each hugging the other person’s back. Not enough, two more joined. And then finally, as a desperate means to increase force, Acion joined in, holding the large link instead. The scale slowly tipped to the knights of heaven. Cerberus was slowly lifted up into the air slightly above rooftop level, helpless, able to shake their limbs in defiance, but unable to move anywhere.

It is now exposed, and ready for the kill

Aurelia Nakamiji

The Sky Defender was cruising at a dangerously high speed. Any unexpected collisions would be fatal. And it only got worse from there.

"Nakamiji!"

A shout.

Followed by a gravitational pull that boosted her speed, which is basically an equivalent to a boost in power. She was now travelling at a speed that could only be compared to her diving down from the high sky. And she was rushing straight into Rakasha, her sword raised preparing to strike.

Without a doubt, she knew that this would be a clash of metal, to see whichever is stronger and more durable. If he could break her sword while she is charging, she would be dead. If she could break his, he would become nothing but a ragged cloth.

She could see his tentacles punching out to counter her. It’s now or never

CLANG!!!

The two hard cold sharp objects made a violent contact with each other. The next thing Aurelia saw was her still cruising. She was still alive. She had won.

Her blade was cracked, bent slightly to the right, but still stood. A slick of blood could be seen on it.

As she slowed down and turned around, she saw the result of her attack. The Shadow Clan personale had his arm critically injured by the blade attack. And along with that, the ability to resist.

Letting a heavy breathe out, she slowly landed on the roof where Rakasha and the two students stood. The battle is over, here at least. She looked over her shoulder to see the Sky Knights and the unknown hero party fighting over Cerberus. She may have to assist them quickly, so she had to conclude stuff here.

Seeing the man still boasting the will to fight in his eyes, the Sky Defender tried convincing him, with the tip of the blade at his chin.

”You are defeated. Don’t even try to resist.”

"Our doppelgangers are better than we expected."

Aurelia said as she and her partner parried another attack from them. In the contrary to what they had imagined, the shadow clones of themselves had exactly the same skill and abilities as their real life counterpart. One could say they were the robotic copy of them.

'How can I defeat it?' It was when she heard the guide talking to the hero over there. 'Something I would not do?'

The clone just stood there, without trying to counterattacking the Sky Defender. It didn't seem to attack unless the girl decided to. Wait...if she could exploit this.

Aurelia sheathed her sword into her scabbard, and casually walked toward her doppelganger. No fear, no hostility, just confidence.

"Au, what are you..."

Until she was close, face to face, with her clone. Her head nearly touched it's.

"I have always wished someone would create a clone of myself like this." She said. "So that I can train against myself, see my own weakness and improve."

SLASH!

"But I'm running out of time..."

The clone was slashed diagonally down up, the blade slicing through it like butter. The clone, losing all strength, fell dead on the street. The speed and distance of the attack was so terminal that if someone did that for real, she would never be able to deal with it. That and she would never commit such an act against a living opponent.

Forte was honestly impressed. That was a simple way to end the fight. And she did the same with her own clone, but this time through the punch using her spirit energy.

"Oh dear..."

The Komei trainee, who was pretty much the only one unscathed after this long battle, was in horror as the three headed beast stared at him. A stare-down between a six meters tall hound...and a one and a half meter tall boy was not really balanced.

His danger senses were smacking him in the brain. Jump. Jump. Dodge it now. Run now. But that would be of no use here. That thing is six meters tall. He would never make it anywhere, unless he dodge it at the last second. He had to count on his great reflexes to get out of this alive.

"Sister, get my friends out of the alley now." He calmly said. "God help me."

And the Cerberus jumped at him.

His eyes opened wide, as all of his combat senses, hearing, touching, seeing, smelling, tasting and even intuition all charged up at one point as the hound pounded on him. He saw it. The thing was jumping high enough, creating a gap for him to slip through. And he jumped at the chance. He slid through the street, his armor in friction with the tarmac. The claw of the creature barely missed his head. But it isn't over yet. He had to be ready for its next move...

Which never came...

"Huh..." Acion noticed other heroes distracting the thing.

"Alright, alright!"

After finishing that clone, her brother suddenly called her as he was preyed on by the wolf. She saw Kaida in the hand of the other hero, and perhaps she would be taken care of. Nodding to her friend, a quiet gesture to her dragon friend to pick up the blonde boy flat on the ground like a cockroach. And so she did, effortlessly. Forte took off in the air, carrying on her waist Roy, and had a view of this new and formidable enemy.

'If we fight it here, destruction would ensure. I don't want another building gone, or any lives lost'

That meant she would have to change the battlefield to where there would be no risk of collateral damage. And a place that the Sky Knights would definitely emerge triumphant. Now where could that be?

Her eyes went up.

That's it!

"HQ, this is Forte of Red Squadron. Put me through to Hellcat."

"This is Hellcat, how can I be of assistance?" A male voice came through.

"Incident 003A. I need you here. And bring the chains. We have a beast to tame."

"Alright, I'm coming in."

Knowing that she would be known here, the girl threw Roy up into the air.

"Corsair, catch!"

Albert caught the boy with his psychic power, with the hand that was initially used to carry Reina, who defiantly thawed out of his grasp.

"Get those two to the hospital. Now."

Without questions, the man began flying northeast.

"Alright..."

"Listen up everybody! The tools are on their way. Hold out until they arrive!"

"Roger!"

Being the only one in charge now, the eldest of the Shogeki Clan member was taking matters into her own hand as she called for a few of her knights present here to specifically brief her plans.

The rest concentrated their attack at the front, as diversions.

On the while, Aurelia saw the other two running for Rakasha and Hades. She really wanted to stay and direct the fight here, but the safety of those two are the priority.

Her wings soared mightily. For once she could fly again after such an intense battle. Her wingspan was kept at an optimal length so that she could gain a significant amount of velocity. The time she needed to pick up such a speed was impressive, as she was now slicing through the sky like a bullet. Soon, the view of those two were in sight. And they were onto Rakasha.

She would like to go after the other guy, but this guy, even though he was heavily injured, was still fighting. And were still formidable. She had to make sure he was in no shape for that either.

The twenty-year old hero rotated herself, her slim but agile body spin around effortlessly as she lifted her sword up, using the velocity as power, preparing to strike down at Rakasha at high speed.
I'm here gentlemen.

"Prepare for close combat!"

Five knights and a volunteer trainee were drowned in their own battle cry, as they zoomed into the battlefield. At the lead of the group was not a pro, but the trainee from Komei, who was surprisingly more aggressive than they initially thought he was. He confidently led the charge, being the first to attack. One of his enemies, Rakasha, had been downed, so they all focused their attention on the other enemy, Hades. He might be able to go toe to toe with two or three enemies, but he was in a surprise. And there were five, four of which were not just pros, but some of the most qualified of heroes in the city.

The six-winged fighter was a little more aggressive today. Instead of just going for midrange combat, he went directly into close range. He used two daggers as his two hand-held weapons, along with his six sharp gigantic wings, all curved inward, in position to plunge it into this man's body. He had hurt his friends. Badly. He would not let him go unscathed.

Once the attack had been done, he jumped away from the man, allowing the second Sky Knight to come in. The next in line for the attack was a man, holding a composite sword, a sword composed of nine segmented blade, held together by a stretchable thread. When swung, in which he did, aiming for Hade's head, the segments would disconnect, turning the blade into a whip, a very sharp whip. The man then proceeded to have another two swings before taking off.

The next two in line were the two archers, with special effects of enhanced penetration and trajectory alteration, both firing simultaneously. The remaining one would be the light beamed girl, with 4 mirrors firing light beams that could burn, hard if not protected.

He had done injustice, and threatened their leader's life. They would make sure he would get the same.

The two fighters inside the alley were met with two huge tigers when they were charging. Insignificant creatures. The Sky Knight's leader simply turned the charge toward one of the tiger's instead, stabbing the blade deep into its skull. The other girl was even more brutal, infusing large ki energies into her two lances, and sent it down the same direction, into the tiger's head. But this creature was especially unlucky, as the energies were fully intact when the lance hit the head, which meant the energy would be now released, all into its interior. The rest could not be described, as it simply was too horrifying. As an aftermath, the tiger were sent flying in Oni's direction, headless.

They got pass the walls easily enough, but weren't fast enough, as this man disappeared into the darkness.

"What a coward."

"We're still in this fight, look!"

Before them were two identical silhouette, but without any details of the subjects they were imitating. They were all black, but wielded the same weapons.

"They are no less than pale imitations. Let's bring this fight to a conclusion." Spitted the Sky Defender, as they both charged again.

Albert was in complete shock when the girl suddenly thawed out of his grasp. Is she mad? She is heavily injured for god's sake. And she was determined to continue the fight?

But unfortunately, she fell too far to grab again. Not when he is already this high and was still going. If she wanted to do so, then fine. Wishes her all the best.

From the corner of his eyes, he could see the emergence of other hero groups down the avenue, rushing down the street to the sight

"What the hell is going on?"

That kid!

He died! Before her very eyes. He got swallowed whole. His arm was bit off.

How the hell did he survive that? And got over there?

Still, this was a golden, platinum, diamond, one in a billion, chance. One she would never have the chance to have again.

Instantaneously, the three Sky Knights jumped at the chance. They were in. Without even the need to physically or verbally communicate, they jumped at the fight. The Sky Defender and Dual Lancer immediately charged, with their weapons raised, ready for a vengeance, at Oni

Albert turned his back as quickly as possible, taking two long stride before initiating a large bang, using his powerful psychic power to boost himself up higher than the rooftop of the destroyed restaurant. Seeing the kid trashing Rakasha, he ought not to hit more on him. Instead, he focused his power on the two girls being incapacitated on the ground. He had his two arms extended. One for Michiko. One for Reina. Soon, the two girl, whoever was still conscious, could feel her body becoming weightless, as they were lifted into the air.

On the while...

"Hmph. These birds are so persistent." Acion said as he sped up, losing the crows chasing desperately. After gaining a considerable distance, he did an extremely sharp U-turn, facing the crows. The moment he turned to face them, he flipped his body, sending a hailstorm of sharp feathers at the crows. Some made violent contact and met a violent death.

A bit higher, the girl with four mirrors were slowly gaining height, getting herself out of being harassed by the crows. When she was high enough, her four mirrors moved right above her, facing down at the crows. Four light beams were shot. Dozens were killed.

The same could be said for the remaining Sky Knights in the sky. With the new tactic, the crows were handled nicely. The sky soon belonged to the 'defenders of heavens' once again.

Out of the corner of his eyes, Acion could see Albert floating up to him, carrying both Reina and Michiko. Wait what? He could not believe what was going on. Did something happen while he was fighting?

"Guys, quickly attack those guys on the ground, now! They are in confusion!"

He shouted to us. I could see it. From this height, I could see it. Takeshi is fighting the guy that almost murdered his sister, and Aurelia engaging furiously. It was the call. He had to help them

"They're exposed. All wings, attack!" He shouted into the com link with emergence before the commander could that it almost felt like an order. Actually, it really was an order. And was given by someone who didn't even have any ranks in the group.

But nevertheless, everybody was in sync

"URAAAH!!!"

"Look out, returning fire!" The one with the clearest and most accurate vision out there shouted out.

"Keep reloading guys. I'll take the defense."

Acion said as he jumped right in front of the path of the arrows. He balanced barely using his bottom wings. His four top and middle wings set up a shield wall, bracing all the incoming arrows. The bolts bashed into his wings, creating large clashes of steels to sing across the sky.

The leader of the sniper group was rather surprised when a volunteering fighter to Sky Knight taking the initiative and defended the team. It seemed like he wasn't a freeloading log on their back after all.

"Great job. Alright, let's give these bastards-" The guy was taken aback by what was zooming in closer into their battle zone. "Shit. Crows! Prepare yourself!"

The crows did not go into them, but rather over them. And once they did so, they began to dive on the flying knights, like a rain of arrows, living arrows. These aren't real birds. Their willingness to kamikaze onto their adversaries were too much for any birds to handle.

The knights hastily fired whatever they had reloaded, before unsheathing their blades, readying for melee.

The hail of cold, emotionless flying crows clashed with the fierce wall of the knights of heaven, just meters above Hosu city. The clash during the late hours of the day in the sky was epic but fierce. And in the shock of the battle, the well-renowned rulers of the sky seemed like a sea that cannot be moved. Firmly they stood, side by side, forming as it were a bulwark of ice. And with great blows of their weapons, they hewed down many crows in their path. But the crows were not easy prey to these soldiers. They were not afraid of the sword, their beaks were as sharp as any blades, clashing and crashing onto open areas that any knights may left unguarded. Despite wearing layers of armors, damage was hard to be mitigated.

The Sky Knights were skilled, but the crows were still swarming in size.

"What an underhanded tactic." Acion cursed, knowing that these crows were the result of those assassins down there, as he used his feathered blades to kill one of the crow attempting to jab into his chest.

"No time for that kid. Keep an eye on your surrounding. We don't want to bump into each other." One member replied.

"We can deal with these numbers, but we'll lose if we spend too much energies and effort into these worthless freaks. All wings. Engage those birds using your superior speed. Break!"

All fighters in bound knew what this man was talking about. They all suddenly dove down in all different directions, spreading the bird's attentions.

Meanwhile, the two vanguards were still diving into the battlefield. Once Hades had retreated, the Sky Knight's leader could finally breathe and see what was going on in the sky. Albert. Forte. They were coming to her aid.

Nothing could be said to describe her relief and joy at this moment. Reinforcement had arrived.

Reina Mori

Rakasha followed after her as she dodged his attack, He was surprised at this girl really. He had heard of her fight for her first day, but it was nothing compared to this. So much power, that it reminded her of her great uncle. Yet only released after killing Takeshi. She could become a insainly powerful Villain if guided correctly... He now noticed her skin was gray now...her entire body! Interesting… Its as if the quirk has taken over her.

He was about to attack, but noticed movement above him as he did. This was the moment that gave her a short time to think as he saw the skyknights above them aiming at him. Growling from under his mask he focused his attention on their weapons, his tentacles flaring up and reading for the volley that was about to come. He also noticed the light they were shining on him.

”You think a little light is going to help!?” He roared at them, While darkness was a better environment for them, they could still function in the daylight. Especially Rakasha, His shadows were attached to him. What's more...their light beam only made his personal shadow stronger… Pulling it all into his tentacles and strengthening them. He was ready when they shot. First he jumped back and as he did, his tentacles batted the bolts and arrow away, Though the single arrow that was guided managed to sneak through and impale his shoulder.

He grunted under his breath, while the force of it pushed his shoulder back and made him half turn, he didn’t yell out in pain. After a moment he turned back to the sky knights and gripped the arrow, ripping it out of his shoulder, not taking his eyes off the group of pro heros. Snapping the arrow in his hand. He reached out with the tentacles and grabbed four bolts and launched them back at the group.

He turned back to Reina as she was starting to crumble the roof under her, Which caused him to stop and steady himself. He watched as she pulled all the stone towards her as she fell. He shook his head, one thing for sure, was this girl was a unique and reckless fighter. As if thinking that triggered Reina somehow, he was shocked to see all that debri suddenly shoot towards him.

He raised his arms and his tentacles wrapped around him as he was suddenly pelted with stone of varying sizes. Each one pushing him back little by little. Despite the situation he was in...he smiled. This girl was very interesting...and a challenge at the tender age she was at. This was a noteworthy hero in the future. Too bad he would never see her at her prime…

He Grunted as the barrage stopped, and suddenly Hades was there. Warning him that they needed to finish this quickly….if Hades was telling HIM that. That meant HE was here. ”Shit…” was all he said. With this blunder, He will be lucky if he lived through this.

He leaped into the air and used his tentacles as a slingshot by ramming them into the remaining building and launching him down towards Reina. His sword pulled back and aimed for the girls heart, even if it was so close to Michiko’s head.

Reina braced herself as she saw him jump high, calling her orb back to her immediately. Through her only open eye, she saw the tentacles the moment they began reaching out, realizing what he was doing.

There was no time to think, but the girl had decided her course of action without any thoughts. Memories of her fight with Acion flashed through her mind for the briefest moment.

Rakasha’s tentacles planted themselves, and the man prepared himself for his launch.

Good.

Come here.

The moment Rakasha shot himself towards her, she willed a second orb to activate.

Fire tore through the girl’s mind, the feeling of a migraine’s sudden and immediate onset--Reina felt like she was cracking, losing any remaining sense of self in the moment.

All that mattered was Michiko.

The two orbs shot forward towards Rakasha, and along with her own gravity pulled immensely--their combined forces multiplying together.

The girl let go of Michiko with her right arm, rearing it back like the hammer of a revolver, her left arm gripping to her friend painfully tightly against all the forces that were acting on her.

The orbs, just ahead of Rakasha, shot back towards Reina, pulling the villain faster and faster along with them.

Her eye locked on him, ignoring the blade he held.

The microseconds stretched out as he and the orbs approached. Both orbs whizzed by Reina’s head, stopping right behind her pulled back arm.

And Rakasha was an arms-length away.

“Graviton--”

The orbs’ gravities violently switched to pushing, and only affecting Reina. Her arm was rocketed towards the villain’s face.

“BLAST!”

Rakasha raised his other two tentacles to bat away her orbs, but they suddenly reversed and returned to her, raising an eyebrow in confusion as he felt himself being pulled towards her he saw her pulling back her arm. Shes insane! he thought to himself as he twisted his body just enough so she couldn’t punch him in the face. Not realizing how much power she would put into it, but knowing even at this speed and the force she was pulling him in could break his neck.

But changing his position also changed his position of his sword, wrapping his tentacles around his upper body. He didn’t have a chance to really hear her say anything as suddenly she punched him with so much force it felt like being hit by a train focused into a single point. This didn’t stop his blade as it sliced into her chest, just above her heart and under her collarbone. The force of each attack would send Rakasha flying backwards and into the wall behind him. While his would literally pinning Riena to the wall behind her.

As Rakasha crumpled to the ground, groaning in pain as he felt his right shoulder was dislocated. Thankfully his shadows added the armor needed to protect his shoulder and collarbone enough to not shatter. His mask was thrown due to the sheer force of the blow, and had clattered to the ground. Though when Riena would see his face, she would only see his eyes, as his face was covered with bandages. But his eyes, were eerily similar to Takeshi’s, yet there was a clear darkness in them.

Reina heaved, glancing down at the blade that had her pinned to the wall. She reached up with her right arm--and realized it wasn’t moving at all. Oh. She had shattered it with her punch.

She glanced to her enemy, noting the family resemblance between him and Takeshi. Seemed like there were a lot of shit families in the world.

He pushed himself up off the ground, seemingly unaffected by her attack. ”You hit like a girl…” He said clearly amused. This girl had given him a far more interesting fight than half the pros out there. But it was about to end soon. He turned towards the wall behind him and without hesitating slammed his shoulder into it. A loud pop could be heard as his shoulder was brutally put back into place . He then turned back around towards Reina made his way over to her. his tentacles unwrapping themselves from his body as he reached out, grabbing Michiko with two of them. He pulled with frightening strength. .

“I’m also a student,” she managed through her ragged breathing. “Yet neither you nor the wolf guy have managed to kill me.”

She gave him an exhausted, wry smile.

“Are all villains so weak?”

She had spirit...thats for sure, trying to act tough in the face of defeat...of death. He got close to her and whispered. ”What a thing to say...insulting Takeshi like that, I mean… we did just kill him.”

Her gaze immediately grew viciously hostile at his words, as he reached out for Michiko and tore her from Reina’s injured grasp.

“Don’t touch her!” she screamed, orbs flaring up again. Their pushes immediately blew out the wall behind her, freeing her to step forward, blade still piercing her body. Her orbs moved directly above Rakasha’s head, pulling everything in sight--messing with both his balance as he found himself rising off the ground, as well as launching Reina towards him, right knee aimed for his head.

Before she reached him, though, she once again switched the effects of her quirk. Her orbs began to push instead, herself unaffected now, pressing Rakasha suddenly into the ground while Reina stayed her course, suddenly pulling with her own gravity to have the hit connect a moment earlier than it would otherwise have by snapping Rakasha forward a foot.

Rakasha, as soon as he had Michiko, pulled her body away as far as he could behind him, so she was nowhere near Reina. He was smiling under his bandages as she blew out the wall behind her. He was ready for her to make another attempt to fight. She pushed him away at first, which he simply allowed, but knowing most inexperienced fighters and their tendencies to reuse a similar attack a few times in a fight, he was ready. He countered with his elbow, putting all the force he could aimed right above her right knee, So he won't shatter his own arm against her knee cap, but deal the same damage she was planning to.

Reina grit her teeth as he hit her, deflecting her attack and forcing her to land awkwardly on her injured legs. She wasted no time bringing back her left fist for another attack--

”That’s quite enough Reina…” He said angrily, following up by grabbing his sword and yanking it out of her while his left hand gripped her throat, his hands squeezing tightly, but not enough to restrict all the air.

The girl fought for air, her left hand on the man’s wrist, trying to pull him off. She felt one of her orbs go dormant, no longer able to sustain it--it both relieved the pain in her mind, but also made her even more desperate as she realized she was running out of time, and that her body was beginning to give out on her.

“Give her… back!” she heaved, meeting his gaze with uncontained fury and pushing as hard as she could with her remaining orb and her own gravity. Her voice broke between a cough and a sob. “Give... them… back--”

As she continued to push harder, his grip seemed to tighten, Two of his tentacles having pierced the wall and ground behind her. He brought his face close to hers and whispered. ” Don’t worry...you’ll see you’re precious Takeshi soon enough.”

Aurelia Nakamiji

"Stop with the clichés. I'm not wavered."

Aurelia took the hilt attack, as she was initiating her own. Her own blade, which had been pushed aside, suddenly rotated, as her wrist turned. The girl then swung her arm up again, but this time, only a bit, pushing the edge of her blade onto Hades' back. Then, her entire body motioned simultaneously, just for the sake of one attack. She rotated her body, anti-clockwise, as her right hand was holding her sword, creating momentum and so as to cut Hades' back with her sword. Her legs began to dance, shifting her body position. The next thing she knew, she was nearly horizontal to the ground, was separated from Hades, and was spinning furiously. Elegantly, she planted her hand onto the ground as a base to push herself up and, with a flip of a body, landed gracefully.

From her vision, she could see her allies faltering. The other boy had been engulfed in darkness, the brown-haired girl had been incapacitated. The two others are behind her, unable to combat. The only active combatant was the short-haired girl, but she appeared to be at her very limit. No, she had already exceeded it. She could only pray that she would not exert herself. Please, just don't.

The fight quickly turned to become gruesomely destructive. Part of the ramen shop had been destroyed, and Reina's quirk, with its very destructive and collateral, sent hundreds of debris, large and small down to both the heroes and the villains.

Something Aurelia was totally unprepared for. Both mentally and physically.

She could see debris flying her way, but she could barely cover herself. A concrete rock struck her right in the head. Another hit her knee as she grunted loudly in pain. Those were the two most painful. Thanks to her armor, she did not suffer any more injuries, or at least significant.

It hurt, but she had to go on. Even if her knee was dislocated, she had to go on. Without even checking if her injuries were severe or not, she charged at Hades again. The two engaging in a dance of death, blades clashing onto one another repeatedly, echoing into the depth of the alley. She did not have to win. She just had to hold out long enough for reinforcement to arrive. She had been fighting for quite a while now. What took them so long? What took Acion so long?

Meanwhile...

"So you say that he can practically create shadows and hurl things at you?" Albert asked.

"Yeah, he use it to hurl my sister in that alley. I wouldn't be surprised if he can use it as weapons."

"We'll have to be extra careful." Forte said as she, Albert, Acion, Sachi and all the Sky Knights made a beeline for their destination.

Soon, the ramen shop was in sight. The damage was evident.

"We're near the battlefield. Sky Knights, prepare for battle!"

"ROGER!"

Loud and clear, the Sky Knights was about to dive into the fray when something was up.

"The smoke is clearing. We can see the enemies clearly." One Sky Knight reported.

"That's perfect." Forte and Albert stopped in their tracks. "Ok Acion, you don't have to go in. Stay with Sachi and the rest, and unleash hell on them."

"Be careful or you'll fire on your allies. We'll go in at will."

Almost immediately and without orders, the Knights stopped, lined up and readied their long-ranged weapons. Only three had crossbows, including Acion. The other had a longbow instead. Sachi raised all four of her mirrors up in the air, facing at the only target she saw: Rakasha.

"All personals, on my command!"

Simultaneously, they all raised to aim.

"Fire!"

And they did. Eight arrows whizzed through the air at breakneck speed. Six were from normal double crossbows, nothing too special. The other two were infused with supernatural power that could barely be distinguished from the rest. One had the head that was infused with Ki energy, powerful and strong enough to punch deep into a diamond. The other was under the control of the user herself. She was able to control and adjust the trajectory of this arrow. The other person in this firing squad had her mirrors lightened, projecting four white light beams down at her target.

On the while, the two vanguards flew into the alley, preparing for combat.

The wait for the other knights were also as long as you could probably expect. But when the cavalry arrived, he couldn't hide his tense joy at the sight of the men and women in medieval armor.

The one in context arriving at the drawbridge was a girl with long black hair, cladding in black armor and wielding two very large lances, a bit oversized for someone like her. And she appeared to be riding on a transparent dragon or something. Along with her are two more. They both landed on the bridge where the group are meeting at.

"That is..." Forte noticed the crossbow on Acion's hand

"She handed it to me." He replied

The dragon-girl looked at him. Tensions still rushing through his body seemed to resurface. And she wouldn't blame him. Every seconds passing by, the chances of saving the victims would get a lot thinner. That was the train of thoughts going through every rescue mission. You can be one second late, and the regrets would be overwhelming.

"Listen kid. It is perfectly reasonable to worry. Hell, if my brother is in this situation, I would be too...But." She took a deep breathe and placed her hand on Acion's shoulder "But you gotta trust your sister."

Acion looked to Forte.

"She's the renowned Sky Defender, not a nameless hero. She will be fine. I know you are itching to go back there, but we'll have to tackle this with extra care."

"But-"

"Believe me, she'll live."

Her eyes locked onto the young hero trainee, as calm as unnerving as steel. In her eyes, it was the utter and utmost trust in her comrades in arms. After all, she is a Sky Knight. Aurelia is a Sky Knight. And Acion will be too. And in a hero group operating under and upon the complete trust in your comrade's ability and skill, he knew he could not afford to be so careless. Wasn't that the same as arrogantly measuring your friends', allies', and your family's ability. Don't he trust them?

"Alright..."

"Great. Keep it to yourself." She patted his shoulder, as she turned to the other members. "Now that we're all here. We'll have to know what the hell is going on there? Firstly, how are we going to enter the area without risking them running away?"

"I'll take a look at the map." Albert said, taking a handheld map folded in his pocket.

"I fought there for a while before having to retreat." Acion said as Albert was still busy opening the map. "It's a ramen shop, with a bus slammed sideways into it. The real fight comes from the alley right next nearby. To the left of the ramen shop I think."

"Is it a one-entrance only alley?" Forte asked.

"Uhh, it says so on the map. The entrance is Izumo Avenue. Go further in and you'll meet a dead end."

"So we can only enter from one entrance. Anything noticeable about it?"

"Lots of smoke. I can't see anything inside. But I know there's at least two of them inside."

"Most of what we bring are long range shooters. How are we gonna deal with that? If we don't know where we're firing at, we can hit our allies as well."

"Someone has to mark their locations." Forte looked at the short brown-haired girl. "Sachi. Can you do it?"

"Yes ma'am." She replied softly

"So." Albert pulled everyone together. "We'll be splitting our group into three. Acion. You take Sachi into the alley to mark their location and create a diversion in the area. Me and Forte will take the vanguard. The rest of you, take your position to fire into the alley. Are we clear?"

"Yes sir!" All of them yelled in unison.

For the first time, the Komei trainee had a look at his first partner, first colleague, although temporarily, in his career. She looked like a very soft spoken girl, but had a pretty nice and fancy quirk with her. Nevertheless, as a fully-fledged Sky Knight, she was definitely a lot stronger than he was, and perhaps older as well. He offered her a quick handshake, in which she took it, initially hesitant.

"Before we go, we'll need to know what you are capable of. And you also need to know the vice versa. So listen carefully...

Aurelia Nakamiji

The girl didn't reply, seemingly too painful to respond. Aurelia paid attention to both Kaida and the surrounding area. Every cry and grunt gave her a barrage of anxiety that she might not make it. But what could she do? She looked perfectly fine from the outside.

Then the blonde boy offered Aurelia to take care of Kaida, almost as if he was commanding her. As much as she was concerned, she should let her do it. Why? These kids are from Komei. They knew each other, and specifically their quirks, their weaknesses and vulnerability. So they should be able to do that. Right now, there are no pro heroes here other than her, apparently. So she should be at the forefront of the battle, not at the back. She had to trust them now to handle each other, and her brother to arrive shortly.

The boy who she thought was holding himself began to be overwhelmed. She was about to rush to relieve the guy when this villain dashed at her, attempting to deliver knee strike. He was not that other guy she just fought. The attack was a bit of a surprise, but not completely. The pro hero simply placed her two hands firmly on her blade, raising it to combat ready stance, at chest level. When the attack came, she countered immediately with a forward kick aimed straight at his knee. Because she was able to counter such attack, she was able to see him trying to stab her with his sword.

Dying now would just be an insult to her strength.

Immediately, she rotated her blade, now the side of the blade facing towards Hades. When the tip of the katana reached her range, she moved slightly to the side, her two hands directing her own sword into the villain's blade as it passed through her. Aurelia ran her own blade across the side of the katana before ramming into the cross-guard of Hades's sword, the edge of the blade inches from his face.

"Your kill count will not be low at all. It'll be non-existent."

With that said, she suddenly changed the grip of her right hand. The blade was still in that position, but now her right hand is holding it in reverse grip. Then her left hand let go of the hilt, as she took a few adjusting steps. As fast as lightning, her right hand swung downward, like a pendulum, grinding the sharp edge of her blade into the cross-guard of her opponent's. Then she swung in the opposite direction, going for a reverse stab, aiming at his stomach.
