Helena looked up as she heard birds flying off, only to be greeted by the long-eared girl she saw earlier. It was indeed Yon, one of her roommates. Giving the girl a smile as she took a seat next to Helena, the catgirl raised an eyebrow as her roommate commented on her tail, and instinctively moved her tail away from the girl.

"My name's Helena, please don't bite my tail..." Helena said, sighing softly before smiling. "Anyway, nice to meet you, Yon. I hope we'll get along well. May I ask what kind of magic you use?" The ice mage added, a hint of curiosity in her voice as she sought to learn more about her roomie.

Alura raised an eyebrow at Jackie's comment and facial expression, but it soon gave way to a small chuckle.

"Don't worry about it, I'm sure we'll get along at least, even if I might be a bit weird at times." Alura said softly, her voice slowly becoming more difficult to hear as she goes from loud and excited to quiet and calm for just a moment.

"You should take a look around the room, specifically the bedrooms. There's two different types, so you should probably decide which you like so we can decide who gets which room when our other roommate arrives.

"Oooh! Fire magic is cool! Well, not cool, that's ice magic, but like... It's fancy! You can do lots of cool stuff with it! So you're a species of Fire Mages?" Alura responds, flopping back down onto the couch. "Does that mean you're like... Naturally weak to water? You look like you're made of wax...

Alura falls silent for a moment, intently staring at her own spellbook for a good few seconds, as though entranced or caught up in conversation. Then, she suddenly turns back to Jackie. "Anyway. Sorry if I sound a bit too excited, I'm not too used to being in the company of people." Alura says, smiling softly. "But you seem like a fun person, I'm sure we'll be good friends!"

"Nice to meet you, Jackie! I'm sure we'll have fun together!" Alara said excitedly, shaking Jackie's hand before letting go and taking a step back. "I've never heard of Candela or Candelabras before, but I never did go out much. You look really cool though!"

"Anyway, this is our room! I'm sure you'll love it here! We've got beds, baths, and... uh... ...a view? and a view!" She added, gesturing towards the window. "Go check out the bedrooms, and the kitchen, and stuff! I'm sure our other roommate will be here soon! I'm looking forward to our time here together."

"Oh! Before I forget, what kinda magic do you have? I wanna know~"

Alura gently closed her book as she heard someone at the door, a grin making it's way onto the girl's face as she sat up as someone opened the door, watching closely as someone entered the room... and Alura had to admit, this girl was rather... unusual! She reminded the mage of a candle, but she'd never heard of candle persons before, complete with wicks and everything!

"Welcome! Please, do come in!" Alura said excitedly, hopping off the couch to step towards the girl. "Don't worry, I like dealing with people, I'm always down for making friends!" she added, extending a hand towards her.

"My name's Alura, but you can call me Alura. You'll be one of my roommates, right? What's your name?" Alura asked the candle girl, the mage making no attempt to conceal her excitement at meeting one of her roommates. After all, she'd be spending quite some time with this girl, so she wanted to get to know them!

"Also, you look kinda like a candle. Are you a candle? I've never met candle people before..."

Helena listened with interest as the lizardman gave more information about rooms and dorms. She already knew that she was going to share her room with Yon and Daria, but now she also knew where to go. Room G - T1, Geranium Dorm. A quick look around also revealed where the tower was, even without use of a map. Still, the ice mage decided to take a look at the map to figure out how to actually get there, before heading towards the tower itself.

Eventually, Helena makes her way to the bottom of the tower... and frowns. The staircase leading up to the tower was in quite a bad shape. Sighing, the ice mage carefully makes her way to the top, using her ice magic to fix the stairs where needed as she slowly climbs to the top.

Once there, she is met with a sight that is both pretty pretty and pretty frustrating. Their room was a garden, covered in plants. Some of the glass was broken, letting the wind in. So that's what the councillor meant with 'windy'. A quick search around reveals the beds, seperated by nothing more than planters. There was a toilet, fortunately enough, but no bath or shower, though there was water to be found. If she wanted to shower, she'd likely have to go downstairs instead.

Sitting down on one of the beds, however, pleasantly surprised Helena. It wasn't a bad bed! The windyness wouldn't really be a problem for the ice mage, though she wasn't sure about her roommates. The room did need some improvements, but maybe she could get her roommates to help out in fixing up the room.

All in all, the room was a surprise. She was looking forward to seeing how her roommates would react to it, and if they'd be nice people or not. All she could do now was wait for them to arrive!

Wandering down the halls of the Cherry Blossom dorm was a young mage, her black hair tied up in twintails as she seemed preoccupied with finding a certain room, juding by the fact that she was continuously softly muttering something to herself as she slowed down in front of every door she pased. "CB - 6... CB - 6... CB - 6!" the girl said, as she arrived at said room, grinning as she looked both ways for a moment, making sure she still had everything with her as she opened the door, noiselessly stepping inside.

The room was... quite pleasant! Alura grinned as she figured that her bribe must have worked. Dropping her bookbag on the couch, the mage wandered around the room for a while, exploring the place. The main area had a nice view, with two bedrooms that also had a bit of a view. The third bedroom, meanwhile, was bigger! But it had no view... Alura had been told that she'd have... Roommates... I wonder if they're nice. she thought to herself as she explored the room further.

Bathroom... with a Bathtub. Nice warm water baths... and a mirror! Alura thought as she explored the bathroom, before heading onto the kitchen, inspecting it without showing much interest.

Having now explored the entire room, Alura returns to the couch where she left her bag on. Taking out her book, she laid down on the couch, browsing her spellbook as she laid there facing the door, waiting for the first of her roommates to walk through that door. I hope they arrive soon so I can greet them.

Interesting idea, making two characters that already know eachother. Both are accepted!
I only have a small question about Samuel's local map, is it a local map of his home area, or of where the RP starts?

Speaking of the latter, I'm currently working on the first IC post so the RP can begin. Should hopefully have it done today or tomorrow!

Helena sat quietly as she watched the party from a distance, having taken her time to cool down as she simply looked on. Ray and Feier were talking to the boy who was likely called August, judging by Bet's comments. August was accompanied by someone else, though Helena had no clue who they would be.

Elsewhere, she watched on as a girl tripped over a snake that Daria was talking to, only to turn into... an apple, of all things. Daria picked up the apple afterwards, and seemed to be talking to it. Or the snake. Either way, Helena decided to stay out of that. Not far from them was a girl with a tail and rabbit ears, talking to a glowing person. That must be that Yon girl the councillor mentioned, accompanied by someone Helena could only guess was holy in one way or another. She could feel Izzy's presence inside her glare at the girl, and Helena made a mental note to keep a distance to ensure Izzy would stay calm.

In another distant corner of a party, a conversation seemed to end as a dark-haired boy walked away from a white-haired girl, almost as thought they just had a minor argument. Simultaneously, a... talking dog arrived at the party. She'd never known that dogs could talk, but given the school's reputation Helena honestly wasn't surprised.

Sighing softly to herself, Helena couldn't help but wonder what the school year would bring, given what she'd seen of her fellow students so far. All she could hope for was that she'd get to explore the libraries she'd came here for, and that the room she was going to share would be nice.
@ShiningSector

Looks good! My only question is the spell Transference, which is "limited to a maximum range of two". Two what, exactly?
But besides that I see no reason not to accept her, so she's accepted!
(i was told to murder this mention) As interesting as she was, she is still that player's character. Furthermore, with the 10+ staff characters and my two mages, I am a bit at my limit of how much I can handle.

Don't hesitate to recruit help if you feel overwhelmed! I'm pretty sure some of us would be happy to help out.

Helena slowly calmed down as the slime woman spoke, the ice mage listening with interest to the woman talk about the gel. She didn't know that that was how the councillor's body worked, and the young mage was always interested in learning things.

Then, though, she began talking about dorm rooms. Apparently she was going to share a room with Daria and... whoever Yon was. A quick look around the room later and Helena has a vague idea who Bet Eil was talking about. She wasn't exactly sure what Yon was, but she seemed like a nice enough person from this distance.

Still, the topic change gave Helena an excuse to distance herself from the conversation and take a moment to cool down. Giving the councilor a polite nod, Helena took a step back.

"Thank you for the information, Miss, I look forward to seeing the room I'll be sharing with my roommates, and seeing what would be windy about it." Helena stated, smiling. "But if you'll excuse me, I've got cookies to sample."

With that, Helena stepped away from the group and over to where the cookies were. Taking three, she put one in her mouth to eat as she moved to sit some distance away from the others, taking a deep breath and trying to relax, hoping to calm down.
