Finally, the whole group had gotten together and they could finally get to the point of this meeting. They briefly discussed Dr. Gate’s escape fiasco, but the real reason they were gathered here was that they were going to have more freedom. As if that mattered, at the end of the day they were still prisoners. All of his powers were suppressed in one form or another. What was even the point? Unless that freedom also included the ability to pursue a romantic relationship with Ryan Darwin the day guard, it really didn’t matter.

There was also the fact that they were now going to get paid for their services as Hounds. He wasn’t expecting to get paid at all so this was a surprise. As Sabriel bluntly pointed out, this came with implication that they were effectively free labor until now. There had to be a legal violation there. No doubt someone here was going to be angry about that. “Oh wonderful. Are you going to take us to the mall to go on a shopping spree?” Dr. Pine’s tone was dripping with sarcasm. “Honestly, this is just a cold comfort.”

Teen Titans: Ouroboros

As the sun filtered through the windows of his room in Titans Tower, Max Hudson, known to his teammates as the Violet Lantern, sat at his desk, surrounded by an array of art supplies. His sketchbook lay open before him, pencil in hand, Max happily scribbled away.

Despite the responsibility that came with being Violet Lantern, and a member of the Titans, Max found solace in his art. He could express himself freely without expectations or judgments. It made him feel good.

His current sketch depicted a landscape of Jump City. The view right outside his window. His pencil glided across the paper, capturing the intricate details of the city he called home.

When he was satisfied with his sketch, he stood up from his seat, stretched, and admired his work so far. It was coming together nicely, but he needed to get some food. Dressed in a purple tank top and pajama bottoms, he went downstairs to get breakfast.

He arrived just in time to see one of his roommates Trigger, and the team leader Robin entering. Max grinned and waved hello. “Mornin’ fellas.” He greeted cheerfully as he went to get himself some cereal and milk. “Anything exciting planned for today?”

Since Kaylan did his first gym challenge 5 years ago, I'd be curious to know if any of the Gym Leaders were different back then. Like if Clemont and Korrina are teenagers now, would they still have been Gym Leaders five years ago or would their predecessors have been the Leaders at the time?

I’d imagine Korrina’s grandfather was Gym Leader during Kaylan’s time. Not sure who would be Clemont predecessor. Valerie is also a relatively new addition.
