Visalz winced as she saw the swarm aliens tear into her teammate. She had considered the situation somewhat atypical, but even she hadn't considered the possibility of Swarm aliens hiding within the craft. While she wanted at least in part to help out Dross, she knew that even if her chassis were destroyed she'd be okay in the end. That didn't make it any less horrifying to see such a sleek machine be harmed in such a way. But ultimately, it was more important that the craft did not fall into enemy hands.
Visalz scrambled onto the ship and turned, drawing her magnum pistol. "I'm on! Let's go!" She quickly fired several shots at the aliens. "How did they even GET here?!" She was hoping that even if the slugs did not pierce their exoskeletons, it would at least put them off balance enough to buy time. In theory, of course.
Lise let a high-pitched squeal of surprise as she felt a familiar sensation of shadow... all over her body. She had a brief look downwards, before her face burned bright red. "Y-You can't just go over my body like that with your power, dearest cousin!!" Lise shouted, her voice raising to levels that were well beyond "too loud." It almost seemed to echo through the grounds of Laurels.
She had dealt with so many of these embarrassing and indecent incidents that she managed to stop herself from fainting from panic. Unfortunately she didn't sit well with the idea of becoming used to herself being exposed due to various mishaps, either. She accepted Andreim's coat, though she still felt somehow more exposed than if she was completely naked. Lise pulled it down, trying to cover her lower and upper body with the one piece of attire. "Forgive my cousin for her... 'spirited' displays of courtship. I will make sure the House knows of this violation of traditions..." Lise shook her head disapprovingly, before turning to Elise and her servant. "And cousin, I will ask that you deliver any romantic letters to me directly, rather than send a servant. In order to prevent such a debacle from happening again."
Lise turned away from them all, her blonde hair waving in the sunlight, as she began to return to her room.
Andras
Andras couldn't help but frown at Diana's story. 'How can he cause so much trouble for so many people - including himself?!' Andras didn't know the whole story, it seemed. But Diana needed their help. That was the most important part of the story! It was clear that she needed help, and didn't know what to do. It was something even a Demon Lady of Despair such as Andras could empathize with, though she would hesitate to directly admit it.
Andras suddenly hugged Diana, trying to comfort the witch with her embrace. "I'll help you! I'm sure that within the Root, there is a solution to your problem, so don't cry!" Andras looked to the other Vigilantes as well. "And I'm sure others here will help too, right...?" She asked, stroking Diana's hair and innocently searching her fellow Vigilante's expressions with tearful eyes.
Visalz has a small build, with short blonde hair that is sometimes styled in short, spiky twintails. In and outside of combat, she usually carries some kind of bag on her. In combat, she carries an armored backpack and has plenty of storage all over her armor for her various pieces of equipment.
Name: W-Salz AKA Visalz or Visa
Combat Role: Support
Data Center: South Dostrex
Equipment & Gear:
Medium -Armored Plating This armor is styled somewhat after human EOD armor. -Robot Repair Kit -Resupply Cache -Cover Printer -Phoenix Pistol + Ammo This magnum pistol is an old model, simply working on the ancient adage of "Big bullet going very fast" for its operation. Visalz upkeeps it religiously and uses it as her sidearm. -Lightweight Assault Munitions These explosive charges can be programmed to be thrown like grenades, placed as tripmines, or set up to be triggered remotely.
Personality: Visalz has a fascination with military equipment, from weapons to armor and yes, even other military robots. Her curiosity and drive to learn about them (in their capabilities, personalities, and how they are physically constructed) sometimes leads to misunderstandings with other robots, but her honest nature tends to clear them up rather quickly. She sees her role as a support-class as a duty to keep the wonderful machines around her working well. She takes to her work with a cheerful attitude, and keeps it even in serious situations.
Background: Having been created and trained on Dostrex, Visalz was familiar with mining equipment, excavation, and upkeep of machines large and small. Her fascination with militaria perhaps began because of her familiarity with industrial equipment. To her, weapons and armor were so much more elegant in design than anything else she had worked on.
She found her way into supporting combat units by proving her abilities as a combat engineer: Capable of both creating and destroying fortifications as well as repairing friendly robots.
Visalz looked through the pair of scouting goggles she had borrowed. Just as the report had said, there was a crate sitting in the Bladine countryside. She made her way towards the solitary
It was said to have been part of a cargo delivery. Of course, something had gone wrong and one crate had gone missing. The crates were too small to have tracking on them, and it was considered low priority, but Visalz made it a pastime to track them down in her spare time.
Officially, she was tasked with disposal and/or recovery of any compromised assets - having an affinity for demolition and equipment handling had given her that job. Unofficially, the armorer and supply corps tended to turn a blind eye to taking "souvenirs" since she was doing parts of their job for them. Though, the time she tried to bring back an artillery emplacement piece by piece, the officer in charge really chewed her out. Visalz stuck to small things since then.
She frowned, looking down at the crate. It must have fallen from a decent height, because it was lodged in the ground. The ground around it had accumulated a large puddle from the week's rain. The water was unfortunate - It probably had managed to seep into the container. That itself wasn't necessarily an issue, but the drop may have damaged them as well. Both at once probably was enough to make the entire thing unsalvageable.
As Visalz pried open the container, her fears were confirmed. It was fairly severely dented from where it had landed, and water had filled it halfway. The contents were a row of service rifles... Were, being the operative word. Many of them were visibly bent or cracked down the receivers.
"What a shame..." Visalz said with a tint of sadness in her voice. Since the ordinance was damaged, it wasn't going to be recovered. Official doctrine was to have it marked to be recycled - or in unsafe areas, destroyed completely. Luckily for the shipment, it could be tagged to be recycled later on. But one of the rifles was relatively unharmed compared to the others.
Pulling the firearm from the crate, she looked it over. It had a flex in the barrel, and the handgaurd was cracked. Both of which were replaceable parts. Visalz cracked a smile. This one was able to be saved.
"HQ. I've found the lost cargo. It's too damaged to recover. Marking for recycling." Visalz cooly reported. Under the surface, however, she was giddy to repair the rifle. She had already salvaged a shortened handguard, and with a smaller barrel replacement it would make a compact carbine... She couldn't help but grin thinking about having a new rifle in her collection. It would be a conversation piece for sure.
"I've set the beacon for recycling. Returning to base." With that, Visalz began her walk back, with a new restoration project held firmly in her arms.
Visalz flipped the blast screens on her armor up. It wasn't a permanent solution, but it at least deflected some of the blustering waves of heat from her face. She could handle it for quite a bit, especially since she was used to Dostrex's "unique" climate, but whoever was inside probably couldn't. She always felt a little nervous looking directly after humans, since they needed be handled much differently than most of the other hardware she worked on. But she always stuck to what she was taught and it usually worked out. Perhaps the nervousness could also be attributed to the situation itself being a little off, but Visalz brushed away the thought.
"If they're not responding, they're definitely in trouble! I'll get the suits, you keep an eye on them." Visalz turned and made her way back to the craft. "Dia! The ones inside aren't saying anything. We're probably going to need the suits just in case."
Andras shrunk away from Diana's gaze at first, but quickly regained her confidence. She quickly put her arm in front of Melanie, making a signal to let the witch speak. "Finally, one who realizes that reality bends to my whim without even my input." She laughed aloud quietly, before darkening her expression. "Though, to mention the Fallen One here..." She turned away from Diana, letting her sentence trail off. She would have sold the performance, perhaps, had her face still not been pale from nearly losing her grip on... Gravity? Maybe even existence itself? She still didn't know. On top of that, bringing up the Fallen One filled Andras with unease.
'This has got to be related to what just happened. What happened?! How come she knows it was me right off the bat?!' Andras felt a pang of foreboding in her gut. 'But I've already started to pretend like I know what's happening. I'll... Have to hope someone else asks those questions...' Andras looked over the group, silently hoping, and trying to not make it obvious.
Lise heard the boy - Oh, he was a boy - recite his name aloud, and she recalled the family. While Lise was practically a scholar in the internal family lines of Valois-Saint-Remy, she did take the time to learn about other royal bloodlines. She reasoned it may be important if she were to have to be part of an arranged marriage of some sort. 'Ah. So he's a servant of Elise. Maybe that's why he was in my room.' She cast a look at Elise for a brief moment.
"Well, my cousin's brazen tactics for courting my love aside, you all must step down!" Lise called out with all the authority in her voice she could muster. "If he is a true servant to my family, he meant no harm. There's no need to quarrel with him, Andreim. Though he will have to learn the importance of a Lady's privacy."
Lise directed her already summoned servant to push the two boys apart. Of course, with the servant leaving from its original place as towel-holder for Lise, she just barely caught it from falling off once again. She was becoming more steadily aware of her state of undress, but she tried to keep her embarrassment from showing in order to clear up the others' misunderstandings.

The situation once again spun out of control. Lise was about to handle the issue, but then from nowhere Andreim burst into her room - while she was changing - and the distraction let the original intruder grab Lise before she could react. She was actually somewhat astounded at the speed and precision of his actions. He managed to bound out of the window without any issue.
So for the second time since she had arrived in Rhea Lise found herself falling. It was a small comfort that there was someone carrying her, but in the end she'd have preferred to not be dropped from her own window. She closed her eyes as she dropped towards the ground, bracing for a hard impact.
Instead she found a somewhat familiar feeling - like her own shadows. But she didn't think to call them to catch her. So who could it have been...? She barely could think of the possibilities before she was set down. On something decidedly not similar to the shadows - it was too warm.
Lise opened her eyes. Her eyes were even with a pair she recognized. More surprisingly, Lise was being kissed. Or rather, given the situation, Lise was kissing the other?
Lise pushed herself away, immediately recognizing her cousin. Lise's expression was a mixture of embarrassment, indignation, and surprise. She had not seen her cousin for years - she was, deep down, happy to see her. Though, the situation was far from a normal introduction. Lise could think of a few explanations for her cousin's behavior.
Lise covered her mouth with her hand as she stood to distance herself. "Elise! Y-You cannot try to court me in such a forceful manner! Have you at least talked to Uncle before this?! T-T-There are rules about this, you know!" A shadow servant quickly materialized, and grabbed her towel just before it fell from being loosened.
@AtomicNut A wreath of steam from her shower followed Lise as she stepped from the bathroom, wrapped in a towel. For a brief moment, her haughtiness, pride, and royal status seemed gone, lost in a serene yet simple moment.
Of course, then she saw someone she didn't know in her room, and it all was evaporated in a flash of indignation so intense that it could have only been spawned from someone of immense pride. She pointed at Mitya, glaring. "W-W-W-What are you doing in my room?!" She caught her towel just as it started to unwrap from her body. "Get OUT!"
One shadow servant rose between her and Mitya, and another appeared at the window, opening it. She could recognize the intention of throwing the intruder directly out of the window in a single motion.
At the same time, Lise wasn't sure why they had such good coordination for this maneuver. It seems like they'd thrown someone out of a window before, but Lise would never have done such a thing until recently, when she had moved to Rhea and had to deal with so many ruffians. Unless, way back when she was a child...
'Is that why Cousin won't talk to me anymore?' Lise had a small realization unfold as her true servants sprung into action towards Mitya.
I'm super sorry for not posting anything, the holiday has made things hectic for me. I'm almost done with my character, but I wanna post the WIP so I can prove I'm not ded. Hopefully everyone else is still in?
