"I've been here before. Don't worry though. I'll behave", Marius responds with a nod.
The guards allow him through as he begins walking through the lobby. Some people recognize him simply due to his red clothing. Some nod and some say hello. Same stuff, different day. Only now, he maybe here for more than simply baby-sitting a president who could probably kick his rear as much as he hated to admit that.
Approaching the elevator, the guard there gives a salute and Marius returns it with a simple nod as he enters. He then presses the button that would take him to the exclusive floor.
...well at least she's easy to work with. Least I know what I'm getting into with this place...just wish the father would lighten up some..., Marius thought as the doors opened.
Sure enough, two guards at the elevator entrance on that floor but they both nodded to him.
"Miss Kiri is in her office and as always Marius, mind your manners and the current happenings in there", the guard said.
"...oh here we go", Marius responds. That last part meaning something was already going on.
After a brief walk in the hallway, Marius saw the fancy doors and a nearby guard opened it. And he entered president Kiri's office...

Outside of the corporate building, what looks like a taxi pulls up to the front of the building. The two guards there were curious as to who the visitor was.
The taxi driver, though, did show some nervousness to the passenger he was dropping off. The drivers fears, though, were calmed when the passenger gave him a tip along with the fare money and a pat on his shoulder.
The two guards at the gate, though, had their hands on their pistol hostlers when the man stepped out with what looked liked a nasty looking rifle and a japanese sword, the rifle just being slung onto his back and the japanese sword at his side in it's sheath.
One of the two, though, recognized him as sort of a regular here.
"Hey. He's cool", the first guard said, taking his hand off his hostler.
"You sure? This guy looks like he's ready to storm the place one-man-army style", the other said.
"He's a mercenary. Though a frequently hired one by the president's father. Guy's name is Marius "Kyosuke" Twilight."
The other guard's eyes widen in recognition of the name. Even he had heard the stories about that man. Although he quit his civil security job due to being accused of treason, he exposed his higher ranking official to treason against the IISO which led that guy, Hazama if that was his middle name, having the biggest death mark slash bounty in all the known Monolith's out there. While this Marius guy was a merc, he heard rumors that he had either brought in or even killed some nasty individuals or Gastra threatening innnocent lives. Whether those rumors were true or not he didn't know.
But what he DID know was that this corporation was known to hire the guy when they needed some expertise over some gun-crazy individuals with no brains.

Marius simply waited patiently outside with the remaining guard. Based on what he was told, this job could get nasty...

Hi all. Back from my vacation week. Maybe now I can get Marius and even Shin going when Aoi says so. For now though, going to get Marius going. Despite some of the users problems, glad to see there's still activity going on here ^_^

Personality: Shin's personality is somewhat complex but his true nature is, to put simply, hatred yet calm, cold and calculating. Due to his past events with the Gastrea virus, he just seems like a methodical and dangerously intelligent individual. Yet he's able to show and act like a normal person when he needs to just to hide his true nature. His hatred towards the Gastrea virus, cursed children and anything related is evident.

History : Shin H. Ken'ichi is a victim of the Gastrea virus but unlike others, experiences with the outbreak had left him a changed human being. He had a family but madness brought on by the Gastrea Virus took all that away from him. Family members were either infected and killed or committed suiside without so much as saying goodbye to him.
And yet, something inside him just told him to go on.
Shin has told no one of his exact family origins in Japan nor does he say that Shin H. Ken'ichi isn't his real name. It was just a plain cover story to get him by. Even more so when he joined the ranks of a civil security group, hoping to let out his hatred on anything relating to the Gastrea virus. But his taste grew sour when the new form of counter measure, the International Initiator Supervising Organization or IISO, presented the Initator and Promoter system.
Nobody knows why Shin hated the cursed children so much but perhaps since they were considered "infected", they were a target for his aggression. None the less, that's when Shin started working on the side outside of his Civil Security group. Recruiting possible individuals that would ultimately help him overthrow the IISO. That's when he made a slight blunder when he scouted Marius.
While what exactly happened is classified, Shin had apparently given Marius an order, since he was at a higher rank, that Marius didn't agree with. That's when Shin faked a report stating that Marius was guilty of treason and should be put to death. Marius, though, found out about his "anti-ISSO" group and exposed it to IISO officials which led to Shin briefly dueling with Marius before fleeing to parts unknown.
Shin himself is still alive amonst his followers. Where he is though is currently a mystery but the IISO has a death mark out on him, showing just how much of serious threat he is...
Weapon (s):
Daggers/Knifes (some are made of Varanium): Shin is a very dangerous melee and hand-to-hand fighter. As such, he knows how to fight with his signature weapons: Daggers and/or Knives. From his days with the Civil Security group, he was known to always have several hidden on him. Some of them have blades made of Varanium though he reserves those for their appropriate targets. He also throws them with surprisingly accurracy.
Custom 9mm pistol: Shin will admit that he has trouble using heavy firearms. But always feels comfortable using a lightweight pistol like his custom "black colored" 9mm. The pistol itself is also a common weapon amonst members of Civil Security groups but Hazama's custom allows him to shoot both "normal" and "black" bullets when needed to. Even though he's a close range fighter, his marksmanship is said to be above average at best.

Sorry for the disappearance. It doesn't help either that I'm gonig to be away next week so my posting maybe limited and short if this starts by then but Aoi said not to sweat it too much. Personality: Marius can be a quiet fellow but is a nice guy. He just avoids interactions a bit much due to past events or the current job he's currently on. He may seem calm and distant but when he does speak, he's like any other person you could meet. He also has a bit of a joking side for those he actually warms up to and sometimes goes further with asking people to play a game of cards either for kicks or to gambling money. Although he views killing cursed children wrong and outright genocidal, anyone who's "turned" or "abusing" their talents for destruction and death will get no mercy from him.

History : Marius K. Twilight is just one of perhaps many victims of the Gastrea Virus. While he himself wasn't infected, people around him were. His father killed during the events of ten years ago. His mother going insane when giving birth to his now deceased sister. Having to survive in a part of the world that his family weren't even from. One vaction to a part of the world he never knew suddenly became his new home...and his hell on earth.
In those ten years, he had to adapt...and fast. And somehow he did. Though the chronicles of his life leading up to that point is something he'd rather not remember at all. From entering the Tokyo Monolith to learning Japanese as his second language to even joining the ranks of a Civil Security group, Marius learned how to survive in this harsh new world. Even when he saw how twisted the world was now.
Due to a betrayal and misunderstanding within the Civil Security group he was apart of, he left and became a mercenary. Taking on odd jobs and anything to make a buck or yen just to survive and get by.
Even if it mean't he had to take lives to do so...

"Last Gamble" Rifle:
Basically, Marius uses the black assault rifle seen in the picture above. In this case, he calls it "Last Gamble". A custom made semi-auto rifle with what looks like a pile bunker in the bottom barrel of the rifle. The reason he made it semi-auto instead of full-auto is to cut back on rapidly firing black bullets in an effort to cut down on funding ammo for such an ammo type. It also has a folding holographic sights on top of the gun if he needs help hitting his targets at longer ranges. The spike at the bottom is said to be a melee last resort. Much like the name suggest, the spike pops out when the second trigger under the gun is pulled and much like a hidden dagger, it pops out. Marius claims that it has enough kick to devastate a target at point-blank range but it's exact inner functions is unknown.
Varanium Katana: Basically, a japanese sword with the blade made of Varanium. A common weapon for some Civil Security members.
Varanium Knuckles: On Marius's gloves, there's small Varanium plates on the knuckle portons of the gloves. Although Marius himself is extremely well-trained, he admits that this weapon is more of a surprise weapon but doesn't think it'll work against most targets. He calls it "Dead Man's Knuckle" since if your stuck with these, your most likely dead anyway.

Actually, I had three ideas for characters. While I could submit them all and try to RP them, I may overwhelm myself. So, if you must know the general ideas, here's at least one.
One idea was to make a character from Valm with the "Conqueror" class as his unique class. Though he fights on foot and not on a mount. His general story is that he shows up either in Plega or Yisstol looking for the "Voice of Naga" or Tiki if she even survived as well as any surviving Sheperds for unknown reasons. With a rumor around him that he was personally trained by Walhart, he's supposed to be like a third possible enemy or even a wild card of sorts to both the Shepards and Darrien and company.
I had two others but I want to keep those two hidden for now. The above "general idea" character is what I was trying to either flesh out more or tweak to fit the RP if possible.
