Well, here's the thing after talking with Ariamis...

You can keep the character if you want to as is. (Barring adapting the sheet, I've seen some obsolete fields). Be warned though, there's already a clone child program with stoic loony kids. We'll have to do some juggling and hope it doesn't explode in our faces.

Although I'm willing to haggle to avoid the duplicity as much as possible. We could try making a clone of the same faildoll program, but well, most of them if not all blew up.

...Or streamline it a bit and make her simply a gruff child of an ace pilot. To be honest she could be a good addition with the streamlined bits. (no special program, no special powers).

Hmm...well let's see how it goes. Knowing Ariamis though, he'd probably like to suggest something for Mai.

This is sort of a spoiler but not official so don't worry about this part.

Though I have some idea's myself. For one, the Division Mai was from I had planned. It had a name called "Hell Six". It was supposed to be a boogyman story of sorts. The story was that any cadet's who didn't behave or kept dissrespecting their superiors were sent there as punishment. The scientist there "Caulder" (do a search for "Advance Wars: Days of Ruin" to see a picture of his namesake) was a cruel type but one that made even Lorenzo look like a cute puppy in comparison (if that's even possible -___-'). Caulder believed that human feelings only distracted pilots so he took in cadets that either were offsprings to highly skilled pilots or any he knew that could handle the extreme physical and mental demands of his division. The interesting "twist" I was thinking was that despite all this, there were never any "deaths" in his division though he only took in "six" cadets at any time. Though he had made an exception with Mai (hence her middle name "Seven") because she showed lots of potential and perhaps her special ability like her mother Maria.

My idea was to sort of make him a seperate bad guy since he didn't like the direction the other divisions were going to protect humanity. Perhaps he even didn't like the "cloning" program in this case.

Eh...wow I said alot here -____-'. Well anyways, just shooting ideas with what to do with Mai's past.
Well, there might be a way to place a rival, but it'd be highly unorthodox and would involve a fellow faildoll clone...hmm

...OOOOOR.... how about her being Irina's ACTUAL daughter? or a relative.

Um. Well, this is awkward.

Heh. Even so, creative thinking.

Originally, Mai's mother was simply going to be a random NPC called "Maria "Angel" Twilight". During the early parts of the war, she was one of a handful of pilots that achieved 100% perfect synchro as well as a special power. I could elaborate more but it's a bit of a spoiler that I want to clear with Ariamis first. I did briefly talk to him about it in the other RP but things didn't get that far for me to introduce it into that RP.
<Snipped quote by DarkRecon>

Funnily enough, once again Sigma is (technically) a daughter of an ace, aswell. Also a plot device in End of Days (which by the way, is the previous incarnation of Hearts of Metal).

...I just wanted to warn you that if you were looking for the niche of the stoic child pilot soldier with the mysterious air and connections to the brass, sadly, that was taken before you submitted that.

Yeah I just saw that. I'm just shocked that Ariamis didn't metion it...well I could make Mai into a deadly rival but I doubt Ariamis want's anyone playing a "bad guy" sort.
<Snipped quote by DarkRecon>

This might be shocking but so did I, in the original of the original. End of Days. Curious, huh?

...the real question, is how do we settle this. We keep both characters as is?

Well just so you know, Mai isn't a clone of anyone. For a spoiler, she is the daughter of an ace framework pilot. It was one of the plot devices that I spoke to Ariamis about in the previous "Hearts of Metal". Her special powers were also there too.
...yikes...my bad -____-'. Just so you know, I didn't copycat. I did use this profile in the original.
@DarkRecon
She's getting brought in like the new pilots next post, most likely transferred from another division. That aside, you may have missed the Co-GM's question.

Whoops...so wait. I know I'm using an older profile but who did I duplicate?
Well I guess I'm all set up. Just sorry that I haven't posted anything yet. Kind of tired from all the reading I did of the IC and I have to admit, it was intense reading all that. ^_^ nice work all.

So yeah. Should I assume that Mai would be transfered to Lorenzo's division at some point? How should we do this?
Name: Maria "Angel" Twilight (Formerly Mai "Seven" Twilight)

Appearance:
Stands 5'9".

Age: 16

Experience: 81.5%
Synchronization Rate: 100%

Personality (Update): Used to be stoic and android-like persona due to her split personalities. Now, she's more emotional than serious. Though at the moment, she seems emotionally unbalanced.

Motive to live: Unknown

Background (Update): Though much of her background is somewhat unknown, several things have been revealed through her and cadet Jake Armstrong. Her mother, the first Maria "Angel" Twilight, was an ace pilot back in the days of the Cruxi war when, reasons not yet revealed, was shot down by a Cruxi Elite unit. Though Maria got her revenge on that same cruxi, she still wonders if that image she saw during that fight was true or not.

It's also said that, before she joined Lorenzo's Squad Sigma, she was apart of another division called "The Helldivers". The name itself is based on an old video game. While rumors were that it was a division that insuborniate soldiers and pilots were sent to be punished, it was actually no different from sqaud Sigma. The only difference was that the pilots were taught to leave their emotions at the door when a mission arose. The commander, a scientist named Caulder, was in charge.

While they did missions like any other, some were considered "dirty work" that other divisions may have trouble accomplishing. What kind of missions those were, Maria had told Elora in her "minds eye" that they were doomsayers. While not yet told, Jake had found out at one point that there were a rash of security breaches that involed doomsayers stealing Frameworks and using them to further damage done. Others were Frameworks that had gone "Beserk" which, sadly, had to be dealt with.

Maria had told Jake, Arrin and "Paladin" at one point that her alter ego, Seven, was born from combat stress so perhaps one of those missions triggered that change in her.

Now, with a perfect sync and a clearer mind thanks to cadet Elora, Maria now has to step up as perhaps one of Squad Sigma's best shots at ending the war with the Cruxi whether she likes it or not.

...Or die trying...

Notable Deaths (Update): Maria "Angel" Twilight (Mother)

Other things (Update): As stated, Maria was apart of a disbanded Frameworks division. What became of the other children is unknown but due to her perfect health and training, she was deemed worthy for Lorenzo's Division. Now, with her mind changed, Maria seems to enjoy doing normal things. Her hobbies include mechanics, video games, sewing and repairing clothing, dressing up in various costumes and even might listen to music due perhaps to Jake Armstrong's influence on her.

Note: The following framework was either heavily damaged or destoryed beyond repair but was Mai's first assigned framework/mech.
Well here's the update and I FINALLY caught up to the story. I'm sorry that I kept the R-1 spec's but I wanted to show that it did originally belong to Mai. Just wish I knew how to use the hide/show button correctly -___-'

Anyways, here's the update:

Name: Mai "Seven" Twilight

Appearance:

Age: 16

Experience: 63%
Synchronization Rate: 61%

Personality: Most times, stoic and android-like persona. She rarely talks without sounding like a drone or she lacks emotions. Most likely due to how she was raised and trained. She does talk when addressed or if she deems it necessary to speak.

Motive to live: Unknown

Background: Mai's background is rather mysterious but is considered one of the best up and coming pilots in the Frameworks Project divisions. Much of Mai's background is either unknown or considered classified but the story that's going around about her is that she was one of several "numbers" children that were trained in the early stages of the Frameworks Project when some thought that human emotions were a hinderance against the Cruxi. As such, Mai's personality may have come from the perhaps extreme training but some rumors say that the children were pushed to such extreme's that it was deemed inhumaine even for military standards. Hence why that Frameworks division was disbanded and Mai was transfered to Lorenzo's Framework division.

The goal was to help Mai with synenergy and teamwork with other squads but due to her personality, has trouble doing so. Thus the reason for the transfer amonst other reasons just metioned. Whether anything about Mai "Seven" Twilight is true, though, is another matter. A good pilot and mechanic.

Notable Deaths: Unknown

Other things: As stated, Mai was apart of a disbanded Frameworks division. What became of the other children is unknown but due to her perfect health and training, she was deemed worthy for Lorenzo's Division. But much is not known of her. Motive to live, Notable Deaths and Personal history are classified and only known by higher-ups of the Framework divisions. While there are a number of rumors, two stand out. One: She might be the daughter to a deceased ace framework pilot. Two: She might have some special ability...

Framework Code Name: Neo Angel (Model ID Code: R-0 Custom and/or Wing Zero Custom)

Appearance:

Signature Weapon System: Telekenetic System "D" - Perhaps the most unique of the current Frameworks is to tap into the "energy" that comes from the syncho rate to weild energy amplified by this system. But unlike the R-1 "Setsuka", this system uses the energy for defense. It "coats" the entire mech with the energy to highten it's defenses to repel or at least lessen any form of attacks made to the R-0 Custom. However, much like the R-1, this puts a ton of mental strain on it's pilot. If the pilot loses control, his/her synchro rate drops faster than usual along with losing this combat system since the synchro rate must be high enough to produce energy (60% or higher for low output. 80% or higher for higher outputs). Anything below 60% won't produce enough energy to weild. There's also a rumor that, again like the R-1's, this combat system is actually stolen technology from the Cruxi modded for human Framework pilots and Mai is it's first test pilot.

Secondary Weapon System: Besides the main thrusters on it's back, the wings themselves also have many smaller thrusters, allowing the R-0 Custom to move at rapid speeds in almost any direction despite it being a medium mech, allowing the pilot to manuver and dodge well so long as said pilot can handle the sudden change in directions. Throw in a pair of beam sabers on it's hips and it's ability to use most standard mech weapons like pistols, guns, swords and rifles makes the R-0 Custom suited for rapid depolyment and hit and run style missions while filling other roles depending on it's weaponry if need be.

Armor Type: Medium

Special Ability: ???

Note: This mech was recently assigned to Mai after the R-1 was reassigned to another pilot and division. It's also said to be similar to another legendary mech from long days past...

Note: The following framework was either heavily damaged or destoryed beyond repair but was Mai's first assigned framework/mech.
Framework Code Name: Setsuka (Model ID code: R-1)

Appearance:

Signature Weapon System: Telekenetic System "O" - Perhaps the most unique of the current Frameworks is to tap into the "energy" that comes from the syncho rate to weild energy amplified by this system. From the frameworks mecha hands, it can then fire it like beams. It can even keep the energy itself stored into the hands to either create "energy based" weapons like swords out of pure energy or simply increase it's punching power. However, this puts a ton of mental strain on it's pilot. If the pilot loses control, his/her synchro rate drops faster than usual along with losing this combat system since the synchro rate must be high enough to produce energy (60% or higher for low output. 80% or higher for higher outputs). Anything below 60% won't produce enough energy to weild. There's also a rumor that this combat system is actually stolen technology from the Cruxi modded for human Framework pilots and Mai is it's first test pilot.

Secondary Weapon System: On it's hips are a pair of mech-sized Magnum Pistols. Each holding 8 shots, the name itself implies high powered shots capable of penetrating high grade armor. However, accurracy becomes an issue past mid range and limited ammo capacity means "spray and pray" isn't an option. A good weapons set for taking out slow but heavy armored targets.

Armor Type: Medium

Special Ability: ???
@DarkRecon
Sure. She was 16, right? Here's her stats:

Experience: 63%
Synchronization Rate: 61%

You got unlucky with the synchro, but young age nicely compensated for that.
Edit: Note that since Setsuka was destroyed in the mock battle you'll have to come up with a new Framewerk.

@Gate Keeper
You can now collab with @Dawnscroll if you want to. The two pilots can have a conversation while they're on their way to Solaire while aboard a transport ship. Or if you're willing to wait, you can also collab with DarkRecon's character once she's accepted.

Wait what? So Setsuka's out? What happened???...ugh....still reading it sorry...

Also, here's the original but it does need editing for this RP:

Though I thought about making a male simply because there are too many female pilots it seems.
