People don't tend to think about rules when in disputes. Instead, just point out that whoever stops arguing first gets to see the other make a fool of themselves if they going after it all stopped.

The best part about being on the Guild this long is that nowadays, I can sit back and chuckle as the newcomers try to start a fight an instead get all the old hands ganging up on them. Popcorn for me.

Got my first covid vaccination today. I was terrified, but the staff there were very well trained and things went well.

Every few minutes playing Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, I tear up from the memories. It's not often you get a game that truly pulls at the same heartstrings as your childhood playthrough's once did.
Many were taking their assigned seats in the hangar. Some were chatting in anticipation for the event ahead, whilst others sat with their hands on their lap, silent, eyes searching for friends among the many. Major Nathan Noir had seen it all before, and unless he died, he would see it all again. He could understand their anticipation, their excitement for the oncoming action, however he knew that the road ahead was going to be slow, and that they may not all make it out.
Major Noir let them continue on their chatter for another few minutes, allowing them to release their thoughts into the air. Finally, the captain stepped onto a mini-stage that stood in front of the chairs. Those that saw the major doing so went silent, others going silent as he cleared his throat, resting his hands behind his back in parade rest.
"I am sure that each of you has once told a story in your life that is exaggerated, is over the top. You may have told a story of yourself standing before all odds and coming out on top, a story where you have completed some extraordinary deeds. You have told a story where you are a hero, you are some badass, but you are the main character of your own little story."
"In a few weeks, you will be telling a new story. You will still be the hero, you will still be a badass. The only difference is that this time, the story will be true. You will have kicked the Covenant back on their heels, you will have stood against all odds together with your brothers and sisters in arms."
"You will not all make it, not in your physical form. Your spirit, your confidence, and your devotion to your duty will, and it will be what keeps us pushing forward. I want you all to push your hardest, and beat those Covenant bastards back to whatever piss hole that they came from."
"They may hit you with whatever plasma bullshit they have, but we will hit them back with lead, rockets, grenades, and pure fucking determination. We'll create a new river on Harvest, the river of their blood that will form as we fill them with holes and stand triumphant!"
"Your deployment orders have been passed through the chain of command to your squad leaders. We will be the first boots on the ground. Mount up in your pelicans, and you show those alien mother fuckers what it's like to mess with the Marines! Dismissed!"
"Fox, Emily, 59891-31225-EF." Emily still wondered how she could remember that, and pondered over it until the armourer placed her M392 as well as an M6G and pair of frag grenades down on the counter, followed by quite a few magazines. Her pouches were quickly stuffed, before stood aside to wait for Holly. After meeting in the cryo chamber, the two had already grown to become friends. The younger marine apparently had a brother serving in the Marines, and privately Emily wondered if he would be somewhere in the fleet - there was a fair chance of it, it looked like a lot of assets were being deployed on this operation.
"So, you were saying?" Holly asked, as she slung her weapons onto her back and slid her pistol into her holster. Emily eyed the amount of gear that the girl was carrying, before starting to walk with her in the direction of the hangar. She had probably been looking a bit too closely, because Holly laughed. "Don't worry about it, I can handle this stuff."
The two walked together as Emily told some stories of her career and her life, and Holly told some of her own stories in return. It was soon that they reached the hangar, walking toward the chairs. Looking around, Holly suddenly stopped, eyes fixing on someone she thought she recognised, before her eyes widened a little. She raised her hand, pointing at Victor Romanov himself. "That's him, that's my brother. What on earth is he doing here?"
"I'm surprised he was assigned aboard the same ship as you," Emily replied. It was a bit of a surprise, there was somewhat of a chance he's be assigned to the same operation but the same ship?
Holly approached her brother, who was trying to talk to someone else. She tapped him on the shoulder from behind. "Excuse me, Sergeant. You haven't been sending me any mail lately," she said, a big grin on her face. Emily, behind Holly, giggled softly.
Experience: Emily entered the UNSC at the age of eighteen, making her current service one year. Before the UNSC, she fought insurrectionists once in an attack on one of her father's company buildings with an M6A kept under the counter, barely holding them off until security forces could arrive and taking a scratch from a bullet that whizzed just close enough to skim the skin. During her service, she was included in raids against insurrectionist camps, including one in which she managed to pot-shot a pistol out of an insurrectionist commander's hand before he killed himself, allowing him to be captured alive, albeit missing a finger or two (which was one of the main influences toward her Private First Class promotion). Against the Covenant, she has fought fewer times than the insurrectionists, yet she was included in one major operation as well as a several force-on-force engagements.
Bio: Emily Fox was born into the medium-high society of Arcadia as the youngest of three. Her father owned Flying Fox, a company involved in making civilian aircraft, and her the rest of the family worked in that same company. For Emily, there were no weekends; throughout an Arcadia week, she would be at school, and in the weekends she would work for the company. More often than not she'd go clay pigeon shooting, or real pigeon shooting, with rich individuals, or she would attend parties with alcohol she wouldn't be allowed to have but would consume anyway.
Emily didn't like that life, but she didn't know what to do with her life until the age of sixteen, when insurrectionists chose her father's company as it's target of the day. Emily was at the reception of one of the engineering buildings at the time that a cell of insurrectionists came rolling in. The alarm was hit and an M6A was tugged out from under the counter, the barrage of shots being what was needed to hold the insurrectionists at bay; they wouldn't enter the building as the young woman inside fired shots out at them, and took a very close shot to the shoulder which tapped the skin close enough to tear it before disappearing into the wall behind it's target. A few minutes of firing felt like a few hours, but that was all it was before the security forces arrived.
The attack influenced her to join the UNSC, even more so when the threat of the Covenant was shown to Humanity. She wanted to protect Humanity, to do something with her life that wasn't sitting behind a reception desk. She joined the UNSC, and by the end of her training was proclaimed a marksman; the clay pigeon shooting had in fact helped her out in that regard, rather than being a useless sport played by those on Arcadia. (Everything after this is basically covered in 'Experience')
Personality: Emily has a distaste of insurrectionists and Covenant alike, particularly to the insurrectionists as she does not see why they are fighting while the Covenant are destroying entire worlds; she feels that the UNSC-insurrectionist conflict should reach a ceasefire until the war is over. She also has a distaste toward armchair admirals, those who sit back and order their soldiers around without being in the frontline. She follows orders, but that doesn't mean she has to like them.
Emily is slightly bitchy; when she feels that she can get away with it, has reason behind it or is just in a bad mood, she'll complain. This doesn't mean she is bad, however. She feels great trust toward her friends and her brothers and sisters in arms, and will support them when they need it. She isn't the type to throw herself in front of a bullet, let alone a bolt of plasma, but she'll hold their hand and pat them on the back. Unless the person is from ONI, she is friendly toward them. She isn't a fan of how they operate, however she can't question their efficiency.
Experience: Holly has been in the UNSC for eight months, included in many attacks on insurrectionist bases as well as two engagements with the Covenant. She has been injured once in the past during a friendly-fire incident, a shot to her left arm, however she reached a full recovery quickly.
Bio: Holly grew up in New Alexandria, on Reach, under a life of threat by the insurrectionists. It was due to her parents' business making equipment for the UNSC. Despite this, she lived happily, becoming one of the most popular girls at school due to her looks and cheerfulness. When she reached the age of nine, her brother Victor joined the UNSC, and every time she got a chance she would send messages to him. Her brother joining the UNSC influenced her, and whenever she was asked, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" She would answer, "I want to be a marine."
Her parents were not happy with this, and did everything they could to move their little girl away from the idea of signing her name on the dotted line. Eventually, Holly started to fake that she wasn't, starting to agree with her parents that she wouldn't. It was all a lie, for when she legally could, she told her parents she was going for a walk and indeed she did - straight to the UNSC recruiting station. She told her parents about her decision only after it was too late to turn back. This was also the time she chose to tell her brother about it, so that he hadn't any time to sway her mind. Holly was determined, and so after graduating from boot camp as a grenadier began her career as a marine.
Personality: Holly is an innocent and cheerful spirit. She joined the UNSC to follow her brother's footsteps, and in her opinion, who doesn't want to a hero? Holly tries to keep up a positive attitude and often jokes around, albeit the jokes happen less in the middle of a firefight. It is rare that she's serious and common that she's giggling about something to herself. She cares a lot for her friends, and strives to be the ultimate supporter of them when they need it.
Your CS is currently lacking in the character appearance aspect, you'll want to put a description of the character if you're not using an image. I'm (personally) willing to let your character keep the rank of sergeant, as he is the second in command, however this can easily be overturned by @Fisticuffs.
I do find it iffy that Victor was able to keep the ONI operations a secret if 'his squad was constantly off mission'. If they were so, his superiors would be asking a lot of questions, I imagine. ONI usually forms teams by taking it's 'chosen' individuals from their original positions and making a new team out of them, as evidenced by the "Kilo-Five" trilogy, the team usually sticking together for months if not years with collars around their necks to be dragged at ONI's willing. They also have their own teams, for example, ONI Recon 111, the team which found and reported the Ark Portal during the second stage of the Battle of Earth, during the excavation.
ONI do, however, use mainstream infantry assets in some of their operations. There has been reported cases that ONI sends an attached operative with mainstream forces to make sure everything goes to their willing. It'd make more sense in your sheet if you put that the team was being ordered to go and do that stuff for ONI (with an attached ONI agent) than going off mission, which would lead him to the platoon leader's doorstep and if he was blatantly ignoring orders while doing the ONI operation, probably to a court marshal.
(I'm not even mentioning the parts where he individually gets pulled from his squad)
It'd be great if you could change your CS a bit based on that information.
