Dandy is pretty indifferent to the choice of film. They understand how a film works physically, and grasp the concept of fiction just fine, but human artwork currently sails straight over their head.

Similarly, you've really said so much about our Dandy in this first post. What I liked about this post was how you really made feel how difficult it must be to be Dandelion in this whole new world, you took us from darkened confusion, and contemplation in the darkness about this new situation - to this feeling of joy when the lights came on and I loved that touch. I loved their thoughts about stairs; so simple, so effective and it leaves this wonderful lingering image of the character. Just, truly a good example of quality characterisation.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure I was getting the concept of Dandelion from the sheet alone and I was patiently waiting to read from inside their head. This post really gave me that extra context, and yeah, fully sold on them. Excited for more. Please write some more. Now.

I can understand how it would be difficult to "get" Dandelion before seeing them actually play out. There's definitely a lot more about them that has yet to be played out on screen that I've excited to get to. I'll be happy to post again as soon as we get through this first round robin.

I've been thinking over a plot thread wherein Dandy comes in contact with another, non-amnesiac member of their kind, who has come to Earth to check up on them. Mostly to provide the contrast between what Dandy is, and what they're supposed to be.

Besides that maybe they meet the Martian Manhunter? I'll go with whatever.

Dandy would actually be very down for haggis, they just don't want it cooked.

If Julian can find a butcher in the area to supply him with whole pig carcasses, that would be ideal.
