Skubli observed the wide variety of events from the shadows, quite intimidated by the new group. The five new goblins, news of a fallen sibling, and various other activities overwhelmed his small self. Skubli slowly breathed in and out, ignoring the forms passing near him or calling out as he attempted to reorient himself. Hot panic welled up in his chest, however he forced himself to put it back down. He wasn't willing to fall prey to another weakness. This was a brutal world of killer dominance; if he wanted to survive, he would have to be tougher. Sneakier. Stronger.
The tiny goblin shook his head violently and stepped forward, forcing himself to stand tall. Not a single other goblin noticed him, which both comforted and discouraged the tiny runt at the same time. Hunting parties began being formed, and Skubli knew if he just sat there, they would leave without him and he would have nothing but iron to sustain him.
You need food. If nothing else, you need food. Mentally encouraging himself, Skubli stepped forward again and raised his tiny head up.
"Yan-took, I would like to join you."His weak voice was slightly overshadowed by the clamor of the other goblins, however he wasn't going to give up. He needed to convince them he was needed.
"I know the woods. No one has spent more time in them than me."
