So ive come down with a particularly nasty case of the flu, so its probably going to be a while before i can get an IC post up

One hopes the time is quicker and less horrid than it seems.
It was mostly deciding in what I wanted to do, I would not prefer to rush it.

Ah, one meant not to seem as if such was pressured. I do hope you find peace in your pondering however it may come.

I do update my character sheet with a list of Alvith characters. Have it divided currently by where characters live and got section for future dead characters.

I do hope too many do not end up dead in the end.

Hardly enforceable, but I already do that and I think several other people do as well.

I'd also like to reinforce there is no hierarchy of order. All of the old RP people are perfectly valid GMs, and that includes Neruu, despite it only letting me designate two people as co-GM. If anything, the highest authority is Aweirdgamer since he's been involved longest.

Pardon my missing both points prior.
They followed the motions of the black bird with beautiful light blue eyes to the left as she pointed towards a massive amount of fruits. The three looked at the birds, then back at the fruits, exchanging looks at one another. The younger female picked up one of the smaller green fruits and took a bite out of it, wrinkling her muzzle up at the extremely sour taste, her body shivering.

The male watched her and skeptically picked up a bright red fruit, taking a very small bite out of it. Shortly thereafter the three were devouring the red fruits that had been laid out.

"These fruits are not that bad."

The older female spoke.

"No, but they grow far out of our reach until they are rotten and fall."

Cor made a happy caw with a sound similar to "Kyu-kyu-kyu~" as he watched the creatures start eating, getting pats on the back from Ima and Mica as the next portion of the plan came into work.

He shifted on his feet to stand on the branch, as Mica jumped up the branches toward more of the varying fruits still above.

She tapped the fruits and felt them a bit with the pads of her taloned fingers before plucking them and throwing them down to Cor and Ima with a cautious trill.

Both gave chirps of thanks and Ima accepted a small peck on the cheek from Cor as Cor took three of theses even more freshly picked fruits from his hands.

There was a moment of silence as Cor and Ima looked at each other with a pleasant expression before the white furred Soruli turned and made a caw for attention to the three creatures below.

Holding up the red fruit for a moment, he waved pleasantly making a graceful leap down to the ground with his brown eyes curved upward.

Keeping a small distance between himself and the three creatures, he waits for a moment, observing them. He pauses, his eyes focusing on the muzzle of the leader as the fruits in his hold drop to the ground.

Cor makes a worried cooing sound, lifting a hand to touch a mirror of the location on his own face, quickly reaching down to grab at a folded leaf held around his waist by a piece of vine, pulling it from the make-shift belt to unfold it.

A thick light orange paste rests within and Cor alternates his gaze from it to the leader before dabbing at it with his fingertip and rubbing the paste into the spot on his own face where the scar would be to demonstrate its usage.

He extends to folded leaf toward the leader, eyes conveying worry and his coos of concern continuing to come forth as he shifts from foot to foot.
I spent the last five hours or so going over and sorting out my race fully in the description and racial characteristics lol

Such is better than spending very little time and thought upon it, one suggests bullet points if you wish to divide for ease of reading.

Ah, this brings something to mind.

@Mihndar @MangoJuice @Aweirdgamer

GMs, Main and Supporting. I suggest that as a thing of greater order, individuals update their character sheets as they develop their race.

It could help with finding information quickly whilst making posts and with your managing of progress.
Our civilization is known just as The Society, and people that live here are known as The Civilians. The major city of The Society is known as the Settlement. An adjective to describe something relating to The Society is Societal. Utilitarian to the bloody extreme :)

Ah, such is now understood. I only guessed, yet I am impressed with such present intricacy.
"They could obviously howl, what says they can not growl?"

They chattered on until the male snarled.

"Silence. We must at least try."

He stepped forth and looked up at the trio, his head tilted lightly to the left in confusion.

"You called for us? You howled? How does a bird howl?"

@Raindeer

As the three beings approached, Cor gave a ‘thumbs up’ to Ima and Mica a happy tweet exiting his mouth. Mica let out a soft little huff whilst Ima hummed in thought.

As what seemed to be the leader of the three waddled toward them, Cor let out a pleasant cooing sound as his eyes curved upward otherwise making no sounds as he listened, watching the body language and the reactions to the communication of barks, growls and whines of this foreign communication.

Cor felt Ima and Mica both tense when a snarl burst forth from the leader to silence its partners and proceeded to reach his hands back to rub their arms in comfort as this same leader stepped forward.

He had no idea what was said up to them, but guessed that the best way was to show them that they were replication the noises of unison.

Cor nodded to the leader and then leaned his head back, his white mane falling back as he began letting out the replication of the howl, echoed in the next moment by Ima and Mica. They were still garbled in pitch but the likeness was still startlingly close.

After a moment or two, Cor lowered the volume of his howl bit by bit, as he lowered his head to look down at the three beings below them, until the howl was nothing but a soft whisper.

Then silence as he and his mates stopped their replication and he burst into a pleasant tweeting noise, bobbing his head with happiness.

Mica took point on the next step, pointing downward at the food lain out on large leaves, neat piles of fruit of varying colors and sizes all sorted with like options, red fruit with red fruit, yellow with yellow, green with green, hoping that they enjoyed a certain kind so that more could be brought.
Also, for future reference I am confused as to whether or not I should count Slaves towards my total population or keep them as a separate counted stat and only count Arsuron as my population

I myself would suggest a system where you may have a drop down of the total slaves and their amounts as displayed below.

Arsuron Population: 158

Such is placed by putting [ ] with hider=Slave Count Totals then text followed by /hider in [ ]

If you wish to go into more detail, I would suggest placing an acronym for the race such as "FB:10" for 10 Forsaken Beasts.

River Camp: 50 (FB:10, GF:3)
Arsur Coast: 43 (FB:2, GF:9)
Lotus Colony: 63 (FB:20)

In the end, it is truly dependent on what you desire. I note apology if my words seem to make myself higher, than the words of those in power here. I only intend to assist.

Northern Den Cluster (Former Rootpaw territory)

With wide eyes and perked ears they slowly made their way across the unknown area, watchful of any plants or creatures they had not encountered in their own territory. They jumped in surprise and once more turned to face the direction of the howling, noticing the sound of different voices, possibly three. An unknown clan?

Cor stared off and hummed as the noises went silent. He let his legs swing back and forth, brown eyes scanning the area whilst holding up his mane of white fur and feathers, still wet from a small shower that passed over mere moments ago, washing off some of the dusts that were upon his lighter grey flesh and making his whites more bold against the colors of the rainforest.

The Noises of Unison had been heard clearer and clearer as he allowed his sense of hearing to control his path. The noises made back seemed to call the creators closer as intended.

They would soon meet and extend what they could to this new being. They would attempt peace. He caught himself making a chirpy little laugh of glee as Ima and Mica moved beneath his position, continuing a conversation about safety that had been persisting ever since they left The Home Tree, their taloned fingers laying out large leaves to place varying fruits and nuts.

Cor made a sound of affection toward them, causing them to pause their work and look up at him to call it back. Watching the tension seep from their movements and their continued communication lighten in tone made his heart soar forth and his spirits rise.

Eyes caught something, distant but there. Forms lower to the ground than their own, fur and some sleeker portions of flesh.

Cor leaned forward, hands still holding his mane from his face as he lowered his voice and called down, “Plan of Peace! Beings of Unison!”

As he felt Ima and Mica settle next to him on the branch, he slowly raised a hand and waved his pale arm to bring more attention to their posiiton.

Explorers in Soruli Territory

As they gazed up they caught sight of the bright red being, thought she was covered in more color than they had previously noticed. particularly an ashy grey covering her skin and orange in her shimmering eyes. The Arsuron were for a while stunned at the sight of the bird, and the humanoid shape much like themselves. One explorer suggested trying to speak to the bird, for it might be intelligent, or at the very least it would show they were not hostile for now. The leader of the group cleared his throat and spoke.

"uhh..uh..darúg fïfïg, gehur....nu...ánhur!"
Nerevarine

Naho tilted her head at the sounds that exited one of the Pointy Eared. She repeated these noises made in her head, making an soft sound of “kyu-kyu” as she processed it.

Her fear subsided despite being outnumbered, comforted by the fact they had not attacked but released a sound like that. Her orange eyes, large curious looked to the six beings below her, taking in what was different from herself and her kin. Their sizes, heights, skin… all so strange.

Were they with injury? Were they hungry? Her mind fluttered from possibility to possibility. Looking for body language to read from.

In slow smooth motions she moved on hands and feet to a more visible spot, then eased one foot under the other to have both legs crossed on the thick branch as casually as if she were upon the solid ground and not above it high enough to be out of their reach and hurt herself were she to fall.

Her eyes almost sparkled as they curved upward, continuing to take them in.

Sharing of food or drink was the easiest method of peace in her thoughts currently and with that her body began leaning forward, as she mirrored the gesture of clearing her throat and opened her mouth to release peace-sounds.

<“Uhh… uh.”> The leader’s voice exited her mouth, higher pitched and softer in its tone. She used the unsure sounding cadence of the first portion with a taloned finger tapping her mouth then extending her body and arm in a long smooth motion so that one taloned finger could point toward the two water containers left on the ground. <“Nu.”>

Then from one container she pointed toward three of the beings. With the other she pointed to the remaining three.

Waiting a moment, she sat up and made a cough-cough noise followed by a soft cawing sound of displeasure.

She extended her hands as if she were picking up the container from the air before herself and leaned her head back as she opened her mouth to mime taking dainty little drinks.

Naho finished the display by lowering the mimed container and making a happy tweeting sound as she bobbed her red head, secretly hoping that they did not dislike the semi-sweet taste on the inside of the hollowed out nut that the containers were made from.
<Snipped quote by Father Dagon>

So then how would you describe your civ's territory? For example, "This is _____ land."

Or "I am a ____"

I am not a part of the lands in questioned owned by Shoggothought, yet I could imagine them being able to note: "This is the land of The Society." and "I am of The Society."

A manner of phrasing differently, would they even say such a thing that way.

Apologies if I insult. Also, one is glad you have returned, Mango Juice.
I've made some documentation to help clarify Platta color meanings. They are on the newest IC post, and here if you want to see them:

I would suggest adding this to the Platta's Character sheet via edit and paste. It would most certainly prevent it from being lost amid future postings when it is so important. I have not complimented it prior, so I shall now. Very great work with their structure as it is and may be.

I do wonder how they would react to a race covered in pastes and dusts of many colors...

After joining a little while ago, I have been simply amazed at the work and thought put into this RP. Case and point with the Platta making an actual diagram to explain their complicated color system. It is really quite amazing.

The thought put into developing the races is definitely one of the best portions of this role play. With such there is a nervous energy that makes the heart beat and a creation of ideas that make the mind buzz.

I look forward to the time when many races intermingle, yet also am cautious of the times that shall lead up to it.
